Exporting swf without background color

I am exporting from CS5 to a swf - which all works fine except when I load the swf as an external file into Flash it shows a grey background during pre-loading, does anyone know how to make it transparent or change the colour without losing the interactivity?

AFAIK you can´t remove or bypass that default preload.... when we were designing eDocker2 we faced that problem too. We worked-around it by creating our own non-transparent preloader which was placed on the top of loaded SWF until loaded was finished....

  • Spry menu without background color

    Hi
I have tried to remove the background color in the CSS file.
But if I remove it, it dosent work correct.
    I have removed:
    background-color: #3a90cb; (in ul.MenuBarHorizontal a)
    and
    background: #FFF; (ul.MenuBarHorizontal li.MenuBarItemIE)
I want to remove the background color to be able to see the
design behind (with gradient) instead of one color
    Hope you can help me
    Best Regards
    Kim

1: The drop down menu/submenu now has a white background, and
cant figure out where to change that
2: Between submenu 1 and submenu 2 on each headmenu, the word
    disable are showing up.

gradients, shades of greys, plain colors show the limits of video-encoding.
try a diff. Export with Quicktime optional setting, esp. raise the bit-rate ...-

  • Importing graphics without background color

hi, i was trying to import a symbol to DSC's Image Navigator; but it seems that the whiteground is always imported as well ; as a result the symbol inserted into the front panel has always the "white" background ; pls help/advise

One way to do it is to create a 'Transparent GIF' this is the technique that I find most robust.
I usually use an old version of Paintshop Pro for this although there are thousands of other tools.

  • I can't print background colors

I have tested every combination of checks in the colors section of options in tools. There are puzzles I like to print out. Without background color they are not useful. I have to go to Internet Explorer for this purpose where this is no problem.

Please read this post then provide some details.  What printer model? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen?  What program are you using for email?

  • Blocks/lines of background color show through embedded SWF

When I place a swf object in Muse, I've found that blocks and lines of the background color will appear and disappear around the edges of animated elements. I've confirmed this is not an issue with the SWF as they play normally if embedded using dreamweaver or exported with an html wrapper from flash. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone knows how to fix this, as I have a much easier time arranging page elements in Muse instead of Dreamweaver.
    Thanks,
    Chris

  • SSRS 2012 background color format by expression issue when exporting to Excel.

We are using SSRS 2012. We have a report that conditionally formats a background color for some cells. The report renders properly in a browser and in Excel 2003 format. In Excel format all cells after the first one that meets the condition are highlighted,
even if only one cell should.
The sample expression that triggers this condition looks like this:
    =IIF(Fields!VIOL_NOTE.Value="Internal","Green","No Color")
All cells after the first one that meets the condition Fields!VIOL_NOTE.Value="Internal" have a green background.
    Excel 2003 (proper) results:

    Hi Zenon,
Based on your description, I try to reproduce the issue in my test environment, however it is work well. After export the report to Excel and Excel 2003, I can get exact same result when open the Excel file in Excel 2010.
Did you open the repot in Excel 2003 or Excel 2007-2010? Please post more deatils, so we can help to work out this issue.

  • Please Help with background color problem in loaded .swf

    I am stuck!
    This is Flash CS4...
I created a flash application which loads in many other little flash applications (.swf files) based on menu selections.
When I change one of the little applications the changes are viewable except when I change the background color.
After the first time I view the application, the background color changes do not carry over to the main app.  I run the little ones stand alone and they show the new color, then I run the main app and any other changes I have made are there but not the color change.  When I remove the file and the load fails, the old backround color still displays in the container movie clip the .swf was previously loaded into.
I have tried several different options and the only thing that worked was renaming and copying and deleting and making a big mess.  There has to be a way to force a refresh of this mysteriously saved color. doesn't there?
    Please help!
    Thanks!
    Vivian

    Hi Antonia
I am loading the swf into an instance of a movie clip:
    var myLoader:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader();
    myLoader.loadClip("Capitalization.swf",  contCapitalization);
it is the background of Capitalization.swf that will not change
this is AS 2 since the app was created before I upgraded
    Any ideas?

  • I cannot see the background color and borders when exporting

I created a 10 page document with a background color and borders around the images (I am usiong InDesign 5.5), when I export it to PDF I only see white pages with my images, what am I doing wrong?

I suspected as much. [Paper] is the absence of ink -- it means don't put anything here and let the paper stock show through and in the PDF it is essentially transparent ( the PDF only shows a white background to keep you from seeing the insides of the monitor -- well not really, but Acrobat doesn't dispaly transparency with grid the way Photshop does). The ability to edit the swatch is a convenience to make it easier for you to visualize what your design will look like on colored stock.
If you want a colored background you either need to print on colored stock, or you need to print the color in the background by creating a frame and filling it with the color of your choice. I doubt you will be printing on a dark brown, especially since there are areas of white in your design, and the only way you get white is by leaving the paper blank iin those areas, or using an opaque white ink, which is bothexpensive and not very practical in photos, especially over a dark color.

  • Can change work-space background color without effect on HTML?

I'd like to have a dark work-space background-color (for the
    design part of
the interface) when I work in my included files, instead of
    the default
white. Can I have it without setting a true CSS that affects
    the real
    appearance of the page?

    > But... can I apply this to all my files (the entire
    website) in a single
    > shot, or should I have to set it file-by-file?
    file by file.
Or- there is this pay for extension:
    http://www.communitymx.com/abstract.cfm?cid=61265
The info about the stylesheets for a given filename is in a
    hidden
filename.mno design note, so an .mno design note has to be
    created for each
    file.
