Exporting to 720x486 results in 654x486

I don't understand why this feature changed.
In CS4 when i exported to 720x486 it resulted in that same aspect ratio. If it was with none compresion there was a little loss of quality. Yes indeed, but I could live with it.
Now in CS 5.5 when i Export to 720x486 it results in 654x486 with no field rendering (frame blending) and a substantial loss of quality.
The same happens in After Fx and Premiere.
I finish all my work in HD but we still make SD copies and want to keep my SD copies filed.
All my copies finished in FCP are 720x486 but my copies in CS5.5 are 654x486.
Is it a way  to still get my exports at 720x486???

  • Export PCUI search result to Excel over Context Menu / right mousebutton

    Hello
I am using CRM 5.0 and PCUI
I want to export the search result into Excel, on Servicetickets (BUS2000116). When i press the right mousebutton on the searchresult, I get the option Export to Microsoft Excel.
When i choose this option, Excel opens and i get the error message "Unable to open ......./mainDH.do. The Internet site reports that a connection was established but the data is not available."
and the cell A1 says ExternalData_1.
In Thread Export PCUI search result to Excel, Manuel Rodriguez told "Standard Export to excel is avaible in PCUI 5.0 and dont works in PCUI 4.0.". But I still can't make it work.
Anybody an Idea how I can do it work ???
    Best regards
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,
you should not use the right click and Export to Excel. I think this is a functionality of Internet Explorer for HTML Tabes. Using that functionality you will only get the actual table exported. Do you see the Button "Download" in the Toolbar? That's the export to Excel functionality introduced in CRM 5.0.

    Hello,
Not sure abt 4.6, but in ECC6, there is clear button of "AS LIST" (CTRLSHIFTF11) and then List>Export>File.
If you are using SLIN (extended prog check), use 'Display all changes' and then System>List>Save-->Local File.

  • How can I export the query result into access(*.mdb) file?

    Dear all:
I want to export the query result displayed in jsp into excel file
and access file. And I have exported the result into excel format successfully, only one line should be added in the head of Jsp:
    <%@ page contentType="application/vnd.ms-excel; charset=gb2312" %>
But how can I export it in access(*.mdb) file? I have replaced "excel"
with "access". But it can't achive my goal.
What should I do to achieve my goal?
    Thanks!

The only reason your Excel export works is that Excel knows how to interpret comma separated values as an input file format. Access has no such beast.
If you absolutely must provide info in an mdb, one solution would be to create an ODBC datasource pointing to an empty mdb, then push data into it using the jdbc:odbc bridge, then make a copy of the file and stream it down to the browser. You may run into some ugly file locking items here - set the ODBC connection so it is not shared, and that might help.
This one is going to be ugly.
I suppose another approach would be to write a simple VB applicatin that uses automation to create an MDB, then stream that file down to the browser from your servlet. That would almost certainly be faster than the ODBC approach.

  • Can I use applescript to export PDF search results from "preview"?

My question is about "Preview". I have a very large PDF document that I am using preview to view. After doing a search for a specific word, preview has returned 1200 results. The results panel shows the page number the result is found on and the line of text on which the searched-for-word is found.
My question is this: Is there a way to export this information from preview to something like an excel file? The end result would look like a table with two columns. One with the page numbers and one with the line of text in which the word appears.
Is this something that can be done with applescript? I don't know if the system even stores that kind of information... /sigh. Any help is appreciated.

Using Preview.app, I have done a search for the word “AppleScript” in the PDF version of the AppleScript Language Guide. Then, I have used the following script to retrieve the information displayed in the results panel.
    tell application "Preview" to activate
tell application "System Events" to tell process "Preview"
return value of text field 1 of rows of outline 1 of scroll area 2 of splitter group 1 of window 1
    end tell

  • Bug SQL Dev 1.5.4 Build MAIN-5940 Exporting count(*) query results

when trying to export query results containing an analytic count the export dialog fails to open:
    When running the following query
select count(*) over (partition by dummy order by rownum) xx
from dual;right clicking on the results grid and selecting export->xls (or any other format) fails to open the export dialog box.
changing the asterisk (*) to another value e.g. 1 or dummy corrects this issue for this particular query as does changing the analytic fuction to an aggregate function.

I get the same error when exporting the same statement - however, there is a known problem with 1.5.4 and failing on exports of certain statements (see 1.5.3 - Export results to XLS ORA-00936 which talks about there still being problems in 1.5.4 although the thread is titled 1.5.3).

  • WMV Import/Export Issues (Odd Resulting Video)

    Hello all,
I've been plagued with a problem that has had me scratching my head for days now. My scenario is I need to create a number of short slideshows. I've been using PhotoStory 3 to create the basic slideshow, then importing the video from PS to Premiere to add a voiceover. The problem is when I import the video slideshow, when I play the video on Premiere's timeline some parts of the video have been dropped (i.e. one picture will start fading to the next, and the video will suddenly go black for a few seconds, then fade to the next picture) and some of the fade transitions in-between pictures have been abruptly cut short.
What's even weider is that deleting the video from Premiere, shutting Premiere down and then restarting it and re-importing the slideshow sometimes fixes the problem. Sometimes it introduces different missing video segments; sometimes there are more problems than before.
When (by simple luck) the video plays properly on Premiere's timeline, I've tried to export the video as a WMV. The result is more black segments and skipped transitions. I also tried rendering the same as a DV file, which fixed everything except one black segment. On another occasion, I managed to render one slideshow as a WMV with no issues at all. But only once, and after a number of failed attempts.
What should I do? Any WMV file not from Photostory imports and exports just fine. I tried using Premiere's slideshow capabilities (automate to timeline), but the pan/zooming is far too manual. Encore does the job great, but it can't export to anything other than DVD (I need WMV!). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Specs: Dell XPS 410, 2.66 GHz w/ dual core processors, 4 gigs RAM, Vista Home Premium

I would avoid the conversion to DV and then to mpeg. If you really need to edit the video, then do not use Photostory.
If you are leaving the video from Photostory alone, why not do the voiceover in Photostory? Or do some kind of conversion of the video so you can play it in PPro and do the voiceover (such as Colin's method, and even leaving the type1 if it plays evenly), but use the wmv in encore. It is far from ideal, but a Photostory export (wmv, use settings for DVD) looked pretty good. (I don't actually remember whether I did the transcode in Encore or DVDIt.)
I would not do my own slideshow in Photostory with only wmv for export, but for the school musical I was doing, it was the Photostory slideshow done by the school for a DVD "bonus" or nothing.

  • DSEE 6:  do "dsconf export" and "dsadm export" produce identical results?

    Hi,
I tried exporting using "dsconf export" with the flag "not-export-unique-id". I was surprised that when I checked the resulting LDIF file "nsUniqueId" values were present.
I then tried the same export using "dsadm export" with the "not-export-unique-id" flag, and the resulting LDIF file did not include the "nsUniqueId" values (expected).
    Here are the examples:
    # dsconf export -Q -f not-export-unique-id dc=example,dc=com /u1/dsconf.out
    # grep -ic '^nsuniqueid' /u1/dsconf.out
    14304
    # /u1/dsee/stop-slapd
    # dsadm export -Q -f not-export-unique-id /u1/dsee dc=example,dc=com /u1/dsadm.out
    # grep -ic '^nsuniqueid' /u1/dsadm.out

Is this a bug that someone else has come across? Is it fixed in 6.3, or will it be fixed in 6.4?
    Thanks, Greg

Hi Greg, I checked and did not see this as a know issue so this is likely a bug that we have not come across yet. Do you have a support contract with Sun ? If so I would log a support call on this so that we can get it in the queue for an upcoming release.

  • Exporting BEx Query results to CSV or other files.

    Hi All,
We have a report designed in WAD, which uses a BEx query to display department’s information. Because of amount of data in the results it crashes when u get all the Free Characters into ROWS(Error is : Result set too large(552244 cells); data retrieval restricted by configuration (maximum =500000 cells).  It is a requirement from the user to have all the free characteristics in the rows( which I can understand is not the right way to go ahead). As it is crashing when you add last characteristic(WBS Purpose)  into the rows, they aren’t able to export data into spread sheet from the results. (as there are no results)
Now my question is…..is there any way we can export the results from BEX query into any format for example text or csv? If yes, can we schedule that process? Please note that this characteristics are displayed as hierarchies.
Am new to SAP BW and its been only six months since I have been in this role. Any help would be much appreciated???
I looked online and some where in the forum it was mentioned of using program RSCRM_BAPI, but looks like it needs some sort of downloads from SAP.
Is there any other way to export the BEx query results?
    Cheers
    Sandeep

    Hello Sandeep,
You can use the Item "Context Menu" in your WAD and in the properties by default you can see the Options:
Export to Excel & Export to CSV will be there and also there are many options which you wanted to see.
    It works for you!!!
    With Regards,
    PJ.

  • Enh request: add Export for sql results of worksheet

Please implement "Export" on right-click in sql worksheet results (shown after running a query), in a similar way TOAD does.
Export should save all query results (not just the ones shown in worksheet) in the format specified by user (tab-delimited, OpenOffice Spreadsheet etc), including column name.
OpenOffice Spreadsheet would add formatting to spreadsheet columns based on database columns data type and would but the colum names (1st row) in bold, as TOAD does with export to Excel.
Note that current Select All, Copy and Paste in a separate file doesn't work for all rows, doesn't add any formatting and has problems on some rows (breaks tab-delimiting).
    Thank you

Thank you for your reply Frank.
This won't solve the issue. An export option on right-click would be more useful, as it can have more options and would include column headers. Some formats to support at the begining:
    * tab-delimited text file
    * open spreadsheet document
    http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/office/faq.php
(this one would auto-format the column contents to date, numbers etc. depending on column types in database)
I'd like similar functionality with TOAD's "SaveAs" option for query results, which must be licensed/installed separately now to complement JDeveloper.
This functionality can be reused in JDeveloper to export data in tables browsed in Connections Navigator.

  • Export or printing results search

    Hi,
He are working with UCM and we want to print or export to excel a search result.
For example, we do a "Quick Search" (in top right in UCM interface) and we obtain the list of documents that match this search, now we want to export or print these documents.
Is it possible?, Do we need a component?.
    Thanks in advance,
    Iñigo

I'm fairly confident this was done before and possibly given away somewhere for free (?). I want to say Bex created a component that did this - of course, might have been on Content Server 7.x. But - either it would work straight away, or provide a darn good head start.
I will poke around - unless you've already "dug in" and solved your problem ... ;)
(Ed. Page 152-ish in Bex's book ... You DO have this, right? ;) I would copy and paste but would prefer to avoid lawsuits ... The gist is that this could be fairly trivial ...)
