Exporting to HTML - NO IMAGES on site

After using the previous version of Adobe Muse trial to do a website, it worked without a problem - as soon after i updated to the latest version, i have done some changes to the website, and uploaded content through FileZilla through a company called LCN like before.. only this time the images dont show up.
to try and resolve this i deletes all files and re uploaded ALL the content from the exported file  and it still hasnt worked, i have been reading through these forums trying to figure out what was going wrong and i even send my .MUSE file to the support team and i got a notification saying that they had downloaded the file but i got no response, and we were willing to buy this on a yearly plan but after all the trouble and lack of help we arent sure what to do.. can anyone help with this problem? we have 5 days left of the trial.. and the website is a fashion business and we need it up and running as it is costing us money
www.houseofflora.net
please help

If you visit
http://www.houseofflora.net/scripts/
you will see a 'forbidden' screen (user not allowed to view the contents)
if you visit
http://www.houseofflora.net/images/
you will see a 'not found' screen
This indicates that there is no /images/ folder on your server. You will need to upload this folder. you can find this folder in the location that you specified when you used [File]  |>  [Export as HTML].
Let me know if there is no images folder in this location or your issue is otherwise not resolved.

  • Can't select text when export in HTML and Images

I am entirely new to Fireworks and I can't find anyone to teach me Adobe Fireworks. I followed some youtube tutorials but most of them are vague. I am still figuring the way to export from Fireworks to Dreamweaver, without affecting its contents like bitmap images and the text. When I export in HTML and Images format and opened the htm file, I can't select the text I've inserted in Fireworks. Can anyone tell me what I should do?

I cant scroll below or above viewable section of text in any of my Macbooks, iMac, Mac Mini. Never have been able to, never could, except by pressing the arrow keys whilst selecting, to move up or down.
    Its stupid
I dont have flash installed (never will do since my first virus of video ad sound running in background from Cnet was downloaded and kept returning until i deinstalled flash).
I believe that this is a universal issue because none of my Macs can scroll out of screen when selecting text, which as a webmaster and developer, is a pain in the butt
My issue is not in word documents, its in everything

  • How to make muse export to html and image/asset files only without css and jquery?

    Hi there adobe community,
I am here today to see if there is a way of only exporting a muse site as html with the css integrated in like dreamweaver does. Therer probably is no way to do this. However, i dont want external .css files and .js files i want them all in the html file, is there a way to do this. The reason i want to know is because my client wants no external files and only wants an image and html documents. I told him that it might not be possible and i want to know if it is. If you could help me that would be great.
    Thankyou For Your Time.

    Hi Pink,
When Muse exports as HTML , It exports everything separately like the HTML files , .Css files in a different folder and the .js files in a different folder. There is no way in Muse that you can export in any other way.
This is because a lot of the Css properties are used all across the site and not only on a particular page and so these properties are shared.
Moreover this is a much more efficient way of designing a website rather than keeping everything in  a single file.

  • Export to HTML: Preloading images?

Is there any code I can add to the html page Keynote generates to preload the images? Clicking the Next button on the web page and having to wait 2 seconds for the next slide to load is pretty unacceptable when presenting it to a customer.
I can't believe Apple didn't think of this.

you could use something like Dreamweaver to do it I think...but for stuff like that I usually do a google search. Try javascript image preload and see if that works.
    ah, here we go:

  • When exporting to HTML in Adobe Muse. It doesn't create a image/images folder when exporting.

    Hi
    PLEASE HELP!
When I export to HTML to upload the site on FileZilla, it doesn't create an images folder.
It did it before and thought it was just the 1 saved file, but then I tried the other websites I have done and it is doing the same thing.
It creates everything from text and the widgets but everywhere where there are images, is just blank.
Thanks to anyone who can help.
P.S. I love this software and has shaped my design skills. Thank you Adobe!

Don't be confused by the same names; there are 2 Justin's in this thread.
I'm sorry you took my post as an attack on the Adobe staff.  I was not passing judgement on the questions the staff asked, or the lack of additional staff response when they went unanswered.
Rather, I was expressing surprise/disappointment that the COMMUNITY did not provide any additional comments in a whole year.
It turns out there a several other threads (which is where I got the clue about the issue that I was having).
BTW, in my case I did move the images to the assets folder, and re-linked them.  However, I guess Muse keep track of the fact they were in the images folder originally and consequently did not subsequently export them.
I would think an option for a fresh/full export (as is provided for the FTP) would be a good enhancement to Muse.

  • I have a Muse file that never completes an export to HTML

It just sits there for as long as I let it at about 84% complete.
Also in this file when I relink files that it is missing the icon in the missing link column of the Asset command box does not change.
    Any ideas for a solution?

Hi, I am having a similar problem, when export to html or preview the site/page in browser it locks at about 20% of the process.  I;m not getting any errors on the assets and i have scaled all images appropriately to reduce their size.
I've also tried using a dummy page which did work.
    thanks

  • Could work an animated flash bitmap image exported in html 5, in DPS ?

I'm new in DPS, just started for a couple of weeks and I need to use a image in an animation.
I created the animation in inDesign exported in .fla, used de toolkit js, load it in a container with web content overlay, and when I preview it with Adobe Content Viewer it doesn't work, it apears a blank screen. Neighter of animation from that stage won't work.
To be very precise any animation works fine, when I test the html in a browser, the problem appears only in the content viewer.
The animation is very simple: smal logo entering in the stage from the right, not very complex.
I tried in flash with other images in a test file and loaded in inDesign, and still don't work. Other vector animation works well, no problem. I saw that if I have an image in library in flash and export a simple animation with a vector ball, won't work in indesign preview, with content viewer.
My question is, Could work an animated flash bitmap image exported in html 5, in DPS ?  If so, what should I need to do ?
    Thank you in advance.

Two possible solutions I was considering:
    1) In my index/first page, have all the swfs present (scaled to 1x1, behind something, or invisible) and have a preloader code on that first page... so all the content gets loaded before continuing onto the rest of the site.  That would certainly work in making the site run quick... but would mean a relatively lengthy wait at the start.  Luckily, unlike my current site, all the actual site content (aside from the header/nav interface) is HTML... so the bulk of the site's content is in the HTML pages, not as part of the Flash header... so it probably wouldn't be too horrific a wait.  However, it would be loading EIGHT of these swfs, since there are eight pages... so then maybe it would be....
    2) Have an swf that consists of just the 'draw up' of the interface, and it's idle state... then when each button is pressed, load a new swf to replace the main one, which has the specific page's animated title sequence, and ends with the code to load the html page.  So, each separate HTML page would have embedded into it only the main swf, and the title animation swf would be swapped in when a nav button is pressed.  Main issue here is each button press would envoke a preloader sequence (kind of tedious)... and unfortunately all the 'main interface' elements loaded in with the main swf would have to be loaded in again at the start of each animated title swf (although none of the draw up... just the loading of the interface and buttons).  For highspeed users, it should be okay, I guess....
    Thoughts or better ideas?

  • Need Help Putting a Flash Widget into an Image Being Exported into HTML

Hi, I'm making a banner for the top of my band's MySpace. I only got into making layouts and such because we didn't want to spend the money on hiring a professional, so I'm kind of new to this and I don't know if anyone can help but what I'm trying to do is put a flash widget (for Twitter) into an image on Photoshop which I will then export into html. Can I do this on Photoshop or do I need to do it on another program. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

No, this requires you to learn HTML and create the proper embedding code and page layout.

  • Can In-Browser Editing be used on a site exported as html?

can In-Browser Editing be used on a site exported as html? (Local Intranet)
    Thanks

Since In-Browser Editing is not able to connect to servers that are within local/private networks, the FTP host must be publicly available. Also, it will only work when published via "Upload to FTP Host..." which saves additional details needed for In-Browser Editing to function that "Export as HTML..." does not.

  • Image hyperlinks are lost upon export to HTML

    Hi,
I have many documents I need to convert to HTML.  I need the images in the documents to be links.  This has worked fine, according to normal procedures if the images are png, jpg, or gifs.  However, most of my images are not those formats.  So if I have an eps, pdf, and tiff in my document, upon html export, there is no hyperlink.  That is, the <a href></a> tags are not in the HTML at all.  But if I convert the images to png, jpeg, or gifs, put them in my document, then choose that file format for conversion, the links work fine.
I want to say there is an issue with the link tags upon file conversion.  It could be something else, but I am not sure why it works for certain file formats and not others.  I figured ID would keep the association with the hyperling after converting an image from say and eps to jpg.  If anyone knows what if going on, that would be most helpful, or if anyone knew of a good way to keep hyperlinks for images after exporting to HTML, I would greatly appreciate it.
(I can obviously add the link tags myself in the HTML, or convert the images myself and put them in the docs, but I have many documents and would like some automated way.)
    Thanks for the help!

Might help if you told us what version of InDesign you're using.

  • Acrobat X combines several images into one when exporting to HTML

I'm trying to export a PDF that contains a table of text and images to HTML. When I do, Acrobat correctly places the text in an HTML table. The individual images, however, are combined into a single image and appear outside the table. Here's a sample PDF.
The images in the PDF are simple sparklines. They're generated in Excel 2011 (Mac). Excel, bless it, can't export sparklines to HTML on its own. So I'm exporting to PDF instead. When I open the PDF in Acrobat, I can select and manipulate the images individually, so I don't think they're already combined before the PDF>HTML export. They are afterwards, though. Since the total number of rows that need to be exported to HTML is about 2,000, exporting the images from Acrobat individually isn't a working solution.
The image that Acrobat exports doesn't even look that great, but a working export would put me miles ahead of where I am now. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Generic advice, which has been true ever since Acrobat 1.0. The fact that you can convert X to PDF, and PDF to Y, does not mean that this is ever a good way to convert X to Y. Too much information is lost at each stage.

  • Embedding image in export to HTML

We are using SAP Crystal .NET runtime v13.0.9.
We export to HTML 4.0 and embed the report output within the body of an email (not as an attachment). The report contains a link to a static image using an http URL using the Formula Editor.
When received by the email recipients, the image is not visible and upon reviewing the source, it looks like the http URL is replaced with a file location ("C:\...").
How can we ensure that the URL remains as the link to the image in the exported HTML output rather than being replaced by a file location?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

What happens when you export the report the HTML to local disk?
Does this also happen when you export the report to PDF?

  • Is it possible to export the html code from a muse site that I am building?

Is it possible to export the html code from a muse site that I am building?

Mac_Heibu has the right idea. When you export your site to HTML, it creates a folder that contains all of your pages. Here's an example of what the folder will contain. All of your HTML pages, all your scripts, CSS, and it'll also have individual folders WITHIN your main folder for your phone or tablet versions, if applicable. This method allows you to upload your files to an FTP host. However, if you're trying to upload it to an FTP, the BETTER option would be to go File > Upload to FTP Host. If this has helped you, please mark mac_heibu's answer as the Correct Answer, and feel free to mark my reply as a Helpful Answer.

  • Exporting to HTML for Live Online Test - when another site is already live.

I have a current website online - which was created in the older version of Muse.
I'm currently developing another site - in Muse CC 2014 - and would like to put it online to test it and see how it runs on the net.
Is there a way to Export my new website and put it online with a different URL extension, while keeping my old site live?
I do not want to have to take down my old site to have to test this one live on the net.
    Can I Export to HTML with a URL like this . . .http://www.helpexamples.com/test . . ?
If yes, where would I put it on my webspace provider's server so that it does't get confused with my current site?
    Thanks,
    - Adrian
[edited by forum host - please do not use 'example' domains with XXXs in them that actually exist!]

    Hi Adrian,
You can use http://www.helpexamples.com/test  when exporting site. When upload the site to your server, create a folder with the name Test and upload the site in this folder.

  • Inserted HTML and Images

Is it possible when inserting html in Muse, to have images within the html text? If we will be using Adobe Catalyst, what will I need to do to properly code the images into the text?

    Hello,
You can use the <img> tag between the text. More info on : http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_img.asp
In place of Image Path, use "/Assets/Filename.extension" (replace filename.extension with the filename of the image).
After that use File>Add files for upload and select the image so that it gets added to Assets folder when you Publish the site.
You might not be able to preview it but you can use File>Export as HTML and view the whole site exported in a local folder.
    Regards,
    Sachin
