Exporting video from mac to Ipad

I moved some videos from our ipad to our desktop mac and now we're trying to move them back to imovie on the Ipad. How do I do this?

See this Help page:                 Transfer media to your iOS device
You can either upload the videos using iTunes or using Photos Library (Beta). If you have Photos Library (Beta) enabled, you cannot upload using iTunes.

How do i copy The iMovie video from Mac, to iPad mini?

The easiest way is to firstly export the movie to iTunes (Share > iTunes), then sync the iPad Mini with iTunes. In iTunes, include your movie as an item to be synced. After syncing, on the iPad it will appear in the Videos app. That's how I do it for my wife's Mini.
If you need help with exporting or with syncing to iTunes, please post back.
I'm caught up with something else at the moment, otherwise I'd give you full instructions now (just wanted to get this to you quickly).

How to export video from camera to ipad

Pad2, the new iPad Supported Video Formats & Movie Formats
    H.264 video up to 1080p, 30 frames per second, High Profile level 4.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;
    MPEG-4 video up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;
Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format
You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

  • Unable to stream Videos from Mac and IPad 3 to TV

My Apple TV (1.Generation) is starting to work bad after an update.
I am no longer able to stream videos from IMac nor IPad 3 or IPhone 4.
Can anybody give me a help.
    Thanks.

Not sure if I'm missing something here. AirPlay is the newer audio video streaming technology Apple implemented into their devices. Airplay video from a computer requires a newer Mac running Mountian Lion and a 2G or higher ATV. Streaming video from iTunes to a 1G ATV still works, it is similar to AirPlay but is technically not the same thing.
Streaming video from an iPad or iPhone to an Apple TV is using AirPlay and also requires using a 2 or 3G ATV. These are hardware limitations no HDMI cable can fix.
If you can not stream video from iTunes by selecting it on your Apple TV you have a problem. If you are trying to send video to the ATV by selecting it on a device you need a new ATV and/or computer.

    Hi everyone,
We developed an app just for that, transferring from computer (mac or windows) to iPad and vice versa. Here is the website of the app and the link to the app on the app store:

The app lets you transfer photos and videos over your wifi network. Let us know if you have questions, we hope the app will be useful to you!

  • How to sync photos and videos from mac to ipad

Hi, my brother took pictures and videos on my mac, I searched everywhere in itunes, but I don't know how, can you help me, thanks.

Connect the device to your Mac.
Click on the iPad listed in the let panel of iTunes.
Go to the Video tab and select which videos in the iTunes library you want on the iPad (that's where the videos need to be)
Go to the Photos tab and select which pictures from iPhoto (or Aperture) you want on the iPad.
Press the 'Sync' button in the lower right of the iTunes window.
iTunes will tell you when it's safe to disconnect the iPad.

  • How should I best import HD Videos from the new iPad to my mac without loosing video quality?

The new HD video on the new iPad is awesome, but it can eat up a lot of memory in no time. I would like to know what is the most recommended way to export my ipad movies to iLife on my mac without loosing image quality, so i can free up space on my iPad.
If I use iPhoto I notice that the file size of the video from the new iPad is a lot smaller then if I use iMovie to import the same video.
Example: I import a 53 second video from the new iPad to iPhoto and the imported file has a file size of 143 MB in iPhoto. (iphoto save the video as IMG_0048.mov)
I import the same video to iMovie manually and the imported file size is 843 MB in iMovie. BIG DIFFERENCE. (iMovie saves that same video as clip-2012-03-20 16;13;08.mov)
Now to really be confusing: I go to Image Capture program and locate the file manually on my iPad and is has the same name and file size is what is in iPhoto.
So either iMovie is making the File a lot larger when it imports to an event, or the file I'm looking at is actually the iPhoto version that I get because I sync with iPhoto.
The second issue that I have is that now I have 2 videos on my hard drive: one in iPhoto, and one in iMovie for a combined data storage of close to 1 GB.
I would like to be able to import ALL my iPad recording into iPhoto and then delete the video from the device when done.
But if I loose video quality, I'm not happy about that. Secondly, by importing video from my iPad into multiple iLife programs, I'm creating duplicates with sometimes different quality. Any suggestions? is there a setting in iPhoto that can do all this for me?
    Robert

Don't use iphoto to deal with movies. it's not really meant for that. use Quicktime or iMovie to work with your videos

  • How to export videos from the ipad on a SD card?

i Want to put some videos from my Ipad on a SDCard to give them to a friend, how should i do? Thank you.

The camera connection kit is for copying content to an iPad, it doesn't support copying content off it. Assuming that they are in the Photos app then you can copy them from your iPad to your computer, and from there to the SD card : Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support

  • How to transfer files from mac to ipad without using itunes

how to transfer files from mac to ipad without using itunes ???
as i want to use my ipad for official use as well...please suggest..

well to be 100% technical, no you didn't but that aside, it good to know there are ways for people to transfer music into the default apps without iTunes, if they have a need.
I tend to use 3rd party apps for documents, like your mentioned iExplorer etc, which are handy.
I see from a search the two "apps" you mentioned are not iOS apps, which I had assumed, SyncPod and FreeSync are apps for your computer, that would explain their access to the default Music/Video apps.
I had wondered how Apple had allowed iOS apps in the store that could get around the sandboxing in iOS of apps.

  • IMovie files from Mac to iPad

Spent a lot of time trying to find a way to move iPhoto slide shows and iMovie productions to iPad 2.  Found nothing on the web but a lot of entries leading to the same flaky software site.  Have a three year old iMac, 2.4 GHz with OS 10.6.7.  By accident found that a  slide show produced in iPhoto and sent to iDVD appeared in iTunes when I selected the "movies" option.  I dragged this icon to the icon of my tethered iPad (32 Mbyte 3G).  It played fine.
Next I opened a project in iMovie, went to SHARE and selected iTunes.  I next selected iPad as the preferred device and waited 15 minutes for my 20 minute video to show in the "Movies" option of iTunes.  Again I dragged the movie title from iTunes to the icon of my tethered iPad.  It copied quickly.  I closed the iPad icon on the iMac, opened my iPad, went to movies, found the title I had just copied, and played.
I was very pleased with the result since materials for the movie came from digitized Super 8 film footage.
