Exporting video from Premiere 2 Encore... change video in Premiere... Encore does not reflect change

Hi everyone,
I have a good question, hopefully it's a Premiere question, but it's also an Encore question.
First off, I have my video project, simple segments of video, that I've added to my timeline, and I've added a simple
title to the whole thing ( entire length of videos )
So far so good.
So what I did was export the project to Encore, where it loaded fine, and in Encore I worked on making a simple DVD menu for the movie.
I did about 2 hours on the DVD menu, and then saved the Encore project.
.... then I realized that the video project in Premiere needed some tweeking, so I went back and did that. I saved the Premiere project
and now I'm stumped as what to do next.
After I saved the newly tweeked Premiere project, I exported it to Encore, and of course, as I knew it would happen, Encore opened up
a new project with none of my menu system I had made for the DVD. Argh, now I'm very disappointed..... HOW would I go about getting
the DVD menu to work with the newly tweeked Premiere project ?
I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong, and that there is indeed a way to fix this. I'm really really hoping so.

Hi Dave, To be honest Colin's way is the correct way to do it and it has worked so you should probably do it that way. I just like to
take the full control back so if I do make changes I like to give it another version number and then match that version number in my
new saved Encore project taken from the original. It is also the very last thing I do as well so I just find that workflow means I
control every asset and version but no doubt about it Colin's way is the correct method and the one that allows all
changes within Adobe to reflect through. Cheers, Steve.

in order to move the upper margin of one of the windows
you have to go to pages, select the page in question and then click on "page windows button" and afterwards in "standard attributes" tab you would pass from:

Upper margin <b>2,20   CM     </b> Window height   2,00   CM
to:

Financial Reporting in Workspace: POV preview does not reflect changes

Hi all
after changing a report with FRStudio (a dimension has been moved to the pov) and saving it back to the repository (with the same name) we have a problem with the POV. We only have workspace users without limitations on their POV; the log in and immediatly try to open the modified report. All of them see the POV Preview, but: some of them immediatly saw the new dimension in the pov preview (so 4 boxes in this case); some of them continued to see the previous ones (3 boxes); some just see a couple of dimensions either new or old...
the only workaround I found is to create a new database connection (from workspace) to the same Essbase application and change consequently the connection the report points to. but this is not a practice applicable in a production environment... do you have any suggestion?

Hi Ruth,
My advice is dont use the Designer. The CRM Designer isnt supported by SAPCRM 5.0. Try to do all the configuration in blueprint tables.
If you have changed the layout with Designer and after you do the refresh of your fieldgroup structure then you always the designer changes will be lossed.

Changed value for Dom0 but xl does not reflect changed value

I have updated Dom0 default value to 4096M in /boot/grub/grub.conf. However it only display a value of 2994M when I do a xl list after rebooting the host.

Same here. I've been intending to open an SR about it an never have. I don't know what difference it actually makes but the documentation does recommend you do it and it doesn't reflect that its been changed.

The behavior is same in Acrobat 11 as well. The thumbnails do not get refreshed till you close the document and reopen.

thank you Shoot. I was afraid that the n word would answer that querie. OK. Please recommend a FREE software that I can use to import on to the hard drive that is reliable and w/out error messages e.g. "Browser will close" as in sonys PMH a new replacement for PMB that fails horribly. I uninstalled and installed the Sony PMH four or five times w/Sony "Techs" [I you want to call them that]. And they admitted that the software has problems. The final solution from the "tech" on the phone was that to just keep on uninstalling and install until it worked. Wow! That coming from Sony the electronics Giant. Anytime I am getting too far ahead, then let me know and we can work together on putting the essentials together for this troubleshooting.
From your screenshot, you have a Windows 7 apparently 64 bit computer, lots of RAM. That computer would be great for Premiere Elements 11 Windows.
But Premiere Elements 8 is only a 32 bit application running in the 32 bit compatibility mode of your 64 bit system. So all that RAM is excessive in a 32 bit system with its limitation of max supported installed RAM being 4 GB (of which 3 GB or less of that are available).
So, the freezing and such could be explained by limited resources depending how much you have in the project when the freezing occurs and what formats are involved - like AVCHD. The burner not being recognized by Premiere Elements is probably another matter.
Let us start here....another place where you could be getting hit on the resource side of things....
1. Background Rendering and AutoAnalzyer features in version 8 are notorious for grabbing system resources. If you have them enabled, that could account for much of the program freezing. So, please make sure they are not selected.
a. Background Rendering. In the Premiere Elements 8 workspace, go to Edit Menu/Preferences/General, and make sure there is no check mark next to Background Rendering option.
b. AutoAnalzyer. In the Premiere Elements workspace, click on the Organizer tab in the row below the selected Organize header in order to open the Elements Organizer. In the Elements Organizer workspace, go to Edit Menu/Preferences/AutoAnalyzer Options and uncheck all the option under that.
To get back to the Premiere Elements workspace from the Elements Organizer workspace, in the Elements Organizer workspace go to File Menu/Exit.
For most of us, Premiere Elements 8 was unusable without the 8.0.1 Update. Did you install that? Have you ever worked successfully with your Premiere Elements 8 on the computer where it is now? And, was that with or without the 8.0.1 Update?
Let us stop here and see how we are doing.
Lots of other factors to get into including the burner recognition one.

You must enable iTunes Match on the new computer. It is bound to a Dataset which gets it's data from a SQL Database.
Loading the Data and Filtering the data based on certain conditions work 100%. The problem I am having is as follows:
I have a form on the Page that takes input and inserts a row into the Database. When this happens, the DataGrid won't automatically reflect the changes (even if I recall the Fill Method of the Dataset). No matter what I do, I have to refresh the entire page
and THEN Fill the Dataset to see any changes.
This is what strikes me as odd...
When I do a delete row operation on the Database (Custom Method on the Dataset with conditions), and just Fill the Dataset again (without doing anything special), the row deletes and the changes is reflected IMMEDIATELY.
What am I doing wrong here? Why would Delete Row reflect the changes on the DataGrid but no Insert Row?

All in all, what I have done so far works as intended, except that when I want to add a row to the table it does not reflect, and that it only shows after refreshing/restarting the application.

The default settings mostly likely use an audio sample rate of 32k. This doesn't work probably in FCP. You're probably better off capturing the tape in iMovie.
