Exposé and MacBook Pro

Question

I just replaced my 2006 MacBook (white) with a 2010 MacBook Pro 13". I used to use F10 and F11 a lot for Exposé to either tile all the open windows for the current application or clear the screen. Now, on my new MBP, there is a dedicated key (F3) to tile all open windows across all applications, but not one for the current application. Also the four-fingered swipe down does the same thing (tile all open windows). There aren't any open F# keys to assign this to; I can use Fn-F10 (or another F#), but I'd rather not have to do a two-key solution.
Is there a way to reassign the dedicated function of F3 to just tile the current application's windows, or reassign the four-fingered swipe down to do that? I never really used the F9 tile all open windows function before and am frustrated that it has two dedicated ways to activate and the tile open windows for current application has none.

I tried to do this a while ago. I could not find a way to reassign the various functions of the dedicated keys, and as you say there are no open keys on the MBP. The solution for me was to go to the "Keyboard" menu in System Preferences and tick the box that says "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys". Now I have 12 open keys! Of course, I have to press the Fn key to change the volume, brightness etc. but I don't tend to use the special functions much anyway. It's a matter of personal preference, really...

With regard to using the trackpad, I haven't tried it because the above solution works for me. I did find this article though:

I'm not a big fan of such application, but it may work for you.
