Exposure inconsistent relative to PS

Some images look way brighter in bridge than they open in PS, some darker, some the same.
I can't make heads or tails of it, I'm not seeing a pattern yet, I just know not to expect a shot viewed in bridge to look the same in PS. And I'm talking about saved files, not images that haven't been saved and updated in bridge.
This Bridge/Photoshop CS4

Go to Camera Raw preferences (in the Adobe Bridge CS4 menu) and make sure that, in Default Image Settings, the Apply auto tone adjustments box is NOT checked.
In addition, check your Bridge Preview options for Thumbnail Quality and Preview Generation.
More details would be needed if you are still having problems, such as the exact version of the OS, your setup, whether you've tried  trashing your Bridge Preferences by holding down the Option key as you launch Bridge, etc.

    Hi Vipul ,
    I have Checked the folllowing
    1. Integration Model for Resource/Work center is active on ERP side
    2. Resource is created in APO and assigned to model 000
    3. All production version status in ECC are green
I deleted the PDS IN APO (/SAPAPO/CULL_RTO_DEL ) and tried again to transfer using Curto_create.
Message "Resource xxxxxxxx does not exist" appearing and no PDS generation in APO whereas the Resource is available in APO and also assigned to Model 000.
It seems there is data inconsistency related to ECC and SCM and tried resolving using /SAPAPO/OM17 but no sucess.
Can you please guide further now??
    Thanks ..

  • Ipod Volume changes

I have an 80gb classic i purchased recently and am having volume issues. My MP3 files are played at a much lower volume than aac encoded files and are inconsistent relative to each other. I have tried sound check and it makes no difference. This problem occurs only on the classic not on my shuffle, in itunes on mac or pc or in foobar on pc. what can i do to fix this, and why would it occur only on my ipod not on my computer or shuffle?

There are 3rd party programs that do this more effectively (at least in my opinion).
    For Windows there is mp3/aacGain.
    For Macs there is iVolume.
    Also Macmp3Gain.
Btw, you did have soundcheck applied in both iTunes and the iPod?

  • Inconsistent results between SDO_RELATE and SDO_GEOM.RELATE

Maybe its the Friday syndrome, but I'm getting some results that I can't get my head around...
Let say I have a table with a single line geometry...
    CREATE TABLE BUFFER_TEST (
         WHAT VARCHAR2(100),
         GEOMETRY SDO_GEOMETRY);
    INSERT INTO user_sdo_geom_metadata VALUES ('BUFFER_TEST','GEOMETRY',

COMMIT;Now I want to buffer this line and check if the line is inside the buffer - the actual business need is to see if other lines are in the buffer, but we'll keep it simple for now...
So in the snippet below, I'm buffering the line by 50cm and then using SDO_INSIDE to see if the line is inside the buffer - it isn't.
Then if I use SDO_GEOM.RELATE to determine the relationship, it says INSIDE, which is correct.
Then if I increase the buffer size to 1m, then SDO_INSIDE and SDO_GEOM.RELATE both return the correct result.

  • Order related billing for partial payment and inconsistent amounts

    Hi,
We are using billing plans with payment cards to capture payments before goods are delivered.  SAP doesn't seem to support credit cards for down payments, so we are entering the payment in the payment card and billing plan lines, then generating the F1 order-related billing.
Sometimes, the dollar amount is prorated proportionately, sometimes, it is disproportionately.  For example, if we have 5 line items for $100, $200, $300, $400, $500 a total net value of $1500, and the customer makes a credit card payment of $500, we are seeing that sometimes this explodes to $33, 66, 99, 122, 155.  Sometimes, it explodes to $0, $0, $0, $0, $500 in the billing document.
Where does SAP control the way the amounts are derived in the billing document?  This is milestone billing.
Ideally, we would like this evenly applied across all conditions.  I really need to understand how SAP handles this.  The configuration indicates that the pricing is copied straight from the order.  I don't see anything custom in the document copy procedure here.
I have had a difficult time finding anything in forums or on the internet in general, I've tried search terms such as "order related billing amount distribution" and "payment card amount allocation" as well as a few other terms but haven't found anything helpful.
Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

    Hi,

  • What happened to exposure-related EXIF values in the Metadata panel?

In Bridge CS5, the EXIF section of the Metadata panel would have an "Exposure" entry with info like "1/50 s at f/2.8".  This appears to be missing in Bridge CS6.  The option is there and checked in Preferences, but it never shows up in the panel itself.  I've looked at raw files from the Nikon D700, Nikon D800, Canon 5D and Canon 7D... no exposure information shows up.
I know Bridge/ACR can read the info because it appears in the Metadata Placard, but that is not useful to me.  I often need to select a range of images and quickly see if they all have the same exposure.  In Bridge CS5, the exposure settings are displayed if they are all the same, otherwise "(multiple values)" is shown.   The placard, on the other hand, simply goes blank once multiple images are selected, even though they all share identical exposure settings.
    Bug, or "feature"?  Bridge CS6 5.0.0.399 64-bit, ACR 7.1.

Anyhow, I was just trying to explain why I use the Exposure entry in the EXIF panel.  Regardless of why I need it, it still appears to be a bug, since I can enable/disable it in Bridge preferences, yet it appears to have no effect in the panel itself.
    Brian,
Sorry, I did get a little carried away and sometimes tend to forget that everyone has it own needs and workflow
Regarding the other posts I can only confirm that as soon as I alter my DNG files the exposure line (that in default settings is not selected in Bridge Preferences BTW) disappears (I have set to not show empty fields) and after clearing settings the line fills back again with the info for exposure.
Did not check other lines but maybe there are even more.
This one seems to have slipped through during the 64 bit transition and you should file it as a bug indeed because CS5 has correct behavior for this.
You might best do so your self (your discovery) on the Photoshop.com page
    http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/
and inhere select 'a problem' and describe this behavior.
About your workflow, I tried Peters script several years ago but could not get it to work to suit my workflow. I also have no need (nor wish) for such a large production number but having get used to a workflow and not being able to is quite frustrating.
However I have changed my workflow multiple times due to changed options and often it appeared for the better
I only use ACR mainly for color temperature and exposure to bring back highlights. Often with selecting multiple files  in Bridge and with right mouse click copy paste ACR data to have a good start but I do need to fine tune a bit afterwards in ACR. Maybe I give the script another go.
My process is based on the excellent ideas from Guy Gowan, who has a remarkable fast and amazing workflow in PS itself using adjustment layers based on channel masks. And after running the process also easy to fine tune with percentages using button mode in action panel.
As said, everyone has his own workflow

  • "Relative Settings" checkbox in Raw Converter

As someone who works with natural light and wanting to maintain some consistency, especially with color, being able to make changes which are relative to the current image state globally without ruining the settings is huge. Right now, you can make absolute changes only.
This is kind of hard for me to explain...bear with me:
Let's say I've got 300 RAW files adjusted for color and exposure, contrast and all of it and they are varied because my light is inconsistent or whatever. My client says, "I want the the exposure on all of the images punched up 2 stops." (Yeah, unlikely, but whatever)
If I have a bunch of images +1 stop, some at zero and another couple at minus 1, I should be able to select all of the images, click a "Relative" box (or even a dropdown "Absolute/Relative" box) and push them a stop together from where they are currently, bringing the first batch to +2, the second to 1 and the last to 0.
Does that make sense? Sound useful to anyone else?

    Ryan,
I'm months late in replying, I'm sure, but I remember posting a similar question last spring. People who seemed to know more than me suggested that what you and I were asking for wouldn't be possible.
I did find a plug-in that might help you, though. It's called Rapid Fixer.
    http://www.damuseful.com/pages/rapidfixer.html
For me it was a mixed bag. While it does allow some relative control, all in the Bridge window, the response time is slower than Camera Raw. Also, if I remember right, at least one of the sliders sends its starting point back to zero as soon as you adjust it. Thus, when you're hoping to nudge your Shadow setting from 17 to, say, 22, it will take you from 0 to 5.
On the other hand, I haven't taken a closer look at Rapid Fixer in a while, so I'd be happy to hear that I'm wrong. MB

  • G500 Driver_Power_State_Failure problem most likely related to Wireless Card

I recently upgraded my Lenovo G500 laptop to 8.1.
After that, I've been constantly getting BSOD every time I modify some settings on my WIreless card (Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter). For instance, changing my MAC under the"Locally Administered MAC Address" causes the Wireless configuration window to stop responding, then my wireless adapter becomes permanently disabled (I try to enable it and it says that it is enabling but the adapter remains faded out and locked in a disabled state) unless I restart or power down my laptop. If I restart, the laptop hangs for 3-5 minutes and then a BSOD comes up and suggests that I look online for DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE.
I have updated the adapter as well as most, if not all outdated drivers on my laptop with the 8.1 drivers offered on Lenovo's support pages (This includes power management, BIOS, LAN, Audio, etc.). Even attempting to voluntarily disable my wireless card causes the BSOD.
As long as I don't touch/modify such settings, I have wireless internet and all seems fine but once I do what I stated above, my laptop crashes with a BSOD. I have looked up and searched about such a BSOD but my laptop has zero problems when I put it to sleep or wake it up. My laptop functions practically flawless except for when changing/modifying settings on my wireless card.
    For instance, on Whocrashed.exe:

I'm almost certain that my wireless card probably is defective, or the laptop is defective. I'm still under warranty but I'm hoping to fix this issue before resorting to what I deem as last resorts of factory restoring the laptop or calling Lenovo support.
I am also providing minidumps, driver lists and a whole ton of useful information on my Skydrive:

Any suggestions or help on this matter would be greatly appreciated as I feel like I've exhausted all other methods.
Moderator Note; subject edited; system type added

"If I restart, the laptop hangs for 3-5 minutes and then a BSOD comes up and suggests that I look online for DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE."
I had the exact same problem on a Thinkpad Helix after upgrading to Windows 8.1, although I do not know if it was in anyway related to the wireless hardware as you described. However, I noted that in the Device Manager many wireless hardware components had been highlighted with an exclamation mark since the problem had occured (e.g. Bluetooth, Geolocation, Broadband). Here is how I fixed it:
    1. I went to System Settings / Device Manager.
    2. Disabled all devices that were highlighted with an exclamation mark. I noted that the Device Manager would not respond after disabling so I closed it and then chose to not wait (i.e. forced the Device Manager to close).
    3. Repeated step (2.) until all devices highlighted with an exclamation mark were disabled.
    4. Restarted the laptop (I don't know if I had to force the shut down via power off at that time, but it may be necessary or you wait for the BSOD).
    5. Repeated step (1.) and uninstalled all the drivers of the devices disabled in steps (2.) to (3.), enabling the option to remove the driver from the system, where possible.
    6. Restarted the system. This time the shutdown should only take a few seconds.
So far, everything works fine again and I cannot identify any limitations through the disabling and uninstalling of devices (esp. wireless devices do work flawlessly).
Hope this works for some of you guys out there as well. Let me know.
    Good luck!

  • Inconsistency in MB5B Report

    Hi All,
I am getting an inconsistency in MB5B report when i am running this report from begining it is  displaying as
(01.01.0000 - Date, 000 - Stock, Unit Value, 9100 INR). I have checked this value 9100 in Line item display of stock account, this entry has been created by an MIRO which was having difference from GRN so the system has uploaded this value to stock. This entry was created in JAN 2011 but i m not been able to find it in MB5B. I want to know why  system has behaved in this manner please provide your valuable inputs.
    Thanks
    Rashid.

    Hi
MB5B report shows only the stcok movements, i.e material document from receipts or issues or transfer posting, it does not show the documents that are generated suing the MIRO transaction as they are not movement related documents.
The posting that has occured is only in the accounting documents.
    Thanks &  Regards

  • Get Rid of Relative Dates in Applications?

How do I get rid of relative dates in applications such as Mail?
I cannot find anything in the Mail Preferences to change this.
Nor can I find anywhere in System Preferences -> Date & Time and International to change this behaviour.
Settings in View->Show View Options, as previously recommended, do not affect the date format in applications.
    Thanks
    Al Maloney

    Why get rid of them?
    (1) They require extra steps in my brain to calculate the date of the document.
    (2) When I do not know to-day's date, how can I calculate yesterday's date?
    (3) Aesthetically, they are inconsistent with the list of dates.
    (4) I just do not like them.
    Sláinte!

  • Data slice inconsistency problem with hierarchy nodes

    Hi Experts,
We want to lock planning tables from function. We create the appropriate data slices but there are problems with (material group) hierarchy nodes.
If I give the node as input variable to the function it causes inconsistency in the data slice. If I choose and add this node to the lock in modeler, the problem is the same.
We are using the following variables to create a data slice:
    0VERSION
    0VTYTYPE
    0COMP_CODE
    ZGRMAT (developed material group)
    Z_YEARCR (developed yera created)
The problem also exist if I set an another type of node e.g. destination country (0RECIPCNTRY) instead of material group.
For me, the problem seems to be generic.
    Do you have any idea?
    Many thanks in advance
    Peter

There is a note related to this proble:
Note 1070608 - Lowflag field is not valid
The implementation of this note resolves the problem.

    Hi,
Based on the description, you got warnings when you tried to click the mailbox delegation option of mailbox properties in EAC. Is it right?
Did this issue affected only one user mailbox or all of them?
From the error message, it seems that this issue is related to the corrupt permissions. Please use the
Get-MailboxPermission cmdlet to retrieve permissions on a mailbox to check result.

  • Credit Limit Check - Exclude Specific Documents / Credits from Exposure

    Hi,
I would like to know if it's possible to exclude specific document types (credits) from the credit exposure calculation used during credit limit checks.
The ideia is to exclude "DG" credits in customer GL that are related to Trade Deal/Agreements to avoid over-exposure.
    Let me explain:
Currently, our credit management is configured to "Static" + "Open Items" for all credit groups in the CCA. Therefore, SAP calculates the credit exposure as:
              CE = OPEN ORDERS (S066) + OPEN DELIVERIES (S067) + OPEN BILLING (S067) + OPEN ITEMS (BSID)
Regarding "Open Items", I understand that SAP calculates the net value between all debits (receivables) and credits (returns, overpayments, etc...) already posted and not cleared in the Customer GL account. This rationale is correct since the credits are due to the customers and should be deducted from their exposure (i.e. "you may not pay them if you don't receive").
However, in our case, we also pay trade deals contracts (i.e. trade incentives and trade marketing investments) directly to costumers and apart from sales orders or credit memos. The flow is the following: (1) contracts are managed on a satelite system and interfaced to SAP; (2) contracts are created in the costumer GL as a credit (doc. type "DG"); (3) credits are sent to accounts payable for payment via F110.
Problem is that, contract credits volume is significant and are impacting customers credit exposure and limit check, resulting in greater exposure than allowed. That is, orders are being released while contract credits are open in the customer GL up to the max exposure, but when contracts are paid the exposure goes above the limit. For example:
    Day 1:
              Costumer Credit Limit: 100
              Sales Balance: 30
              Open Itens: 50 (receivables: 70 / contracts: -20)
              Credit Exposure: 80/100
    Day 2:
              Costumer Credit Limit: 100
              Sales Balance: 50
              Open Itens: 50 (receivables: 70 / contracts: -20)
Credit Exposure: 100/100 (no additional orders are released)
    Day 3:
              Costumer Credit Limit: 100
              Sales Balance: 50
Open Itens: 70 (receivables: 70 / contracts: 0 - contracts are paid on day 3)
Credit Exposure: 120/100 (exposure is above customer limit since contracts that were being deducted were paid)
Any ideas or thoughts? Is something wrong in the explanation above? Should contracts credits be treated through special GL?
    Many thanks!

    Hello Julie,
the 2nd, System behavior (how do you interact the credit limit check (yes/no question) via DI?)
    Workaround:
Before you issue the Document, you may do a manual check: BP balance againt Credit Limit, and make deceision.
