Hi all,
i'm facing a big problem when i update any material document in t-code MB02 for challn then after updation a msg is created that Exprss document update was terminated by user'xxx'. and that terminate the update.
for solving that firstlly i see sm 13 for exceptions and i found that my update data is not assign to table NAST .
i also check number range for that particulrer material but it;s under the nuber range.
so pls tell me what can i do for that problem .

I advise you to go in debugging mode and see actual reason because from here I'm not able to give you exact reason. but, 70% of this error occur bcoz of wrong number range assignment.
For debugging you need to set break-point at location of dump occurs.You can see system dump in ST22. And activate update debugging on while debugging.

Hello friends,
Am an abaper (fresher).
Actually i wanted spool to be generated when my delivery document is saved in transaction VL02n.
But when i save it and come out , am getting an error telling "Express document: Update terminated."
When i issue output to the delivery type am getting no response. But the status of the output type inside the document is processed (Green)
I have pasted below the SM13 error log.

Hi Kausthub,
although the print programs has no errors, it is possible that the output itself causes an update error. I remember when I created a sapscript form I forgot to define firstpage as follow-up-page of firstpage. Whenever more than one page was created, I got a dump in update processing - like you got it now.
On the other hand, CONNE_IMPORT_WRONG_COMP_TYPE should not be related to this - there are some SAP notes applicable.

When releasing PO error occured Express Document " Update Terminated"

     i am getting a strange problem ,
while doing release of PO(purchase order) by t.code ME29N, i am able to release and SAVE it properly with out any error.
But when returning back to ME22N t.code to see that PO .
i am getting this error :
Note : - this error is coming for a particular TYPE of PO's and with
            in that TYPE all PO are not giving ERROR,

This problem will be caused by an output which will be triggered when releasing the PO. Check the messages in the PO for which one is causing the update error.

Can anyone help me with regard to this issue? When user do Purchase return, they get this message. I read al the message related to it.

Hi,
Your program is trying to insert entry having primary key which is already exist in the database table.
Please checkout the number range for PO return, if you are trying to return PO with same SAP document Number.
While you return the PO one unique No. gets generated through Number range, these number having conflict while inserting the entry in the database as the primary key may have already been exist in the DB table so same can not be inserted again and you are trying to insert the same.
Now the only option available is either to change the numbner rabge for PO return object or delete the entry from the DB table, however same is not advisable so bater to change/create number range for PO return.
Below is the procedure to do the same for your reference, hope it will help you.

When trying to do the transaction MI20, we get the error that says - express document is terminated.
I checked SM13 and the error log tells me this info :

Hi,
There are many reason to get this ABAP dump.
It could be because of duplicate entries, number range problem, data insertion size problem or a program or kernal issue,
So please check first, in which Tcodes and on which step, you are are getting this error.
ABAPer is the right person who can help you on this as this is a technical problem.

As per our requirement we needed to add different types of phone nos to an Business Partners Address. We are using the Function Module BUPA_ADDRESS_CHANGE to insert the Telephone nos by passing values to the internal table for ADR2 table in the FM. The function module updates the phone nos successfully twice. The Function module fails the third and subsequent times within the same session. The code used for the same is as below:

If anyone had encountered the same issue while using this FM, please advise the reason for the same and how this could be rectified.

Hi,
To be clear, my understanding is that you are updating the same partner multiple times with this function.
Try 'commit work' after each call of the FM, if that is not an issue for your current logic.
Another option you can try is calling it with destination option. This is just a guess. Try it like 'Call .... destination NONE importing.....'

Hi All,
We are getting the below error message at the time of goods receipt at receving plant for STO OBD delivery, when user trying to post the GR, then GR number created and when they try to open the number , then they get this error message.

When we went in to SM13 and saw that everything is fine , there was no message in red.
Erro details showing the s032 update error with Internal session terminated with a runtime error DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR.

This is probably an overflow of a field on the infostructure S032.
Please check this table for this material and plant combination and observe if there is any field with a high value.
As a workaround, you may deactivate the updating of S032 via OMO9 to "no updating" to avoid the dump.

When settling Consignment through MRKO we are getting error 'Express document "update was terminated" received from author xxxx' in ECD system.
At workplace inbox, the error shows "Error Info... XS 007: Address invalid".
Please note that I am not getting any short dump at ST22 for the same error.

1. How can I create a short dump for this error....this will help in analyzing the issue.

I have tried SM13 and getting ERROR XS007(Address Invalid).
Diagnosis says:
The address specified is invalid or initial (address value, address type INT).
Procedure:
Enter a correct address that is suitable for address type INT.
The formats are:
1. INT (Internet Mail Address): <name>@<domain> or comment<name>@<domain> or <name>@<domain>(comment)
2. FAX(fax addresses): <country><number>
ETC
Now as already told, I have properly maintained mail-id in "Email" field & "StandardComm.Mtd" field as E-Mail of the Vendor Master.
The mail ID is my official ID and working.

PM workorder printing problem -- *"Express document "Update was terminated"

I have designed a PM workorder smartform.
This form is getting triggered from the standard transaction IW32. There is a Z driver program and Z smartform.
However when I am directly trying to print the this smartform(Order> Print>order) using the shoppaper number customized for my Zdriver program and zsmartform, the workorder gets saved but then on again entering into the workorder its gives the message :-
"Express document "Update was terminated" received from author "XXX".
And hence I am not able to print the smartform.
However when I see its print preview and then try to print the smartform its allowing me to do so.
Can anyone provide me the solution for the same.

I see in the Tcode OK60, the number range assinged is '05' - 0200000000 to 0299999999.
KBLK table has entries created from 0200000000 to 0299994311 which were created earlier.
From this financial year, when i am creating a contract, the new BELNR is started again from 0200000000 series, hence it throws an error message "Express document "Update was terminated" since entries are already exist in the KBLK table.
Finally i understand we have to change number range assignment.
Where can i do this? Please help if my understanding is wrong, how can i rectify this issue.

Hi,
U can change the number range for the contract for this fical year and make it start from 0299994312 to 0299999999.
But it seems u have already used most of the numbers, so go for a new number range for both the documents.

Getting Express document 'Update was Terminated' in Call Transaction AS02

Hi All,
I've written BDC for changing the Asset Master using Call Transaction Method. After the Call Transaction it it showing me the Success message that 'The Asset has been Changed'.But it is not reflecting in the Database table.When i navigate back from th e screen I'm getting the Express document as 'Update was terminated'.
Please help me in this regard.

have you used commit statement after the call transaction statement, or if there is any enhancement for AS02 transaction remove the commit work statement from the enhancement.
