Express Mail Open and Distribute / Priority Mail Open and Distribute

I just received this email today, but it looks like it was originally sent out in September 2010. Will presort allow me to automatically produce these "electronic" files we have to use to upload for Express and Priority (multiple SCF) jobs? Here is all the information I have come across so far...

Express Mail Open and Distribute and Priority Mail Open and Distribute u2014 This final rule adopts revised standards for labeling Express Mail® Open and Distribute containers, revises the Express Mail Open and Distribute service commitment to receipt by end of day (11:59 p.m.), and adds a 5-pound minimum weight requirement for Express Mail Open and Distribute and Priority Mail® Open and Distribute sacks (with a few specified exceptions). The effective date is January 2, 2011.

Nevermind, I found my answer. This is something Endicia.com is already doing for us. EMOD is something new that will happen in Jan 2011.

Using Outlook express mail and system 10.9, sending attachments

One thing in there jumps out - the long time taken to connect to the internet after NetProtect was installed. McAfee is a notorious resource hog and that behaviour is typical of the symptoms which persuaded me and others to look for another AV. Microsoft Security Essentials has a light touch and many would recommend it, though there are several other effective, free AVs available. If you do uninstall NetProtect you should make sure to run the McAfee Removal Tool also.
I would advise you to get NetProtect out of the way and return with an update for advice on the email issues.

Transaction iView missing a popup for express mails

Hi SDN
If I make an express mail in R3, then the receiver will get a popup whenever an action is done in R3.
But if the receiver is working in a transaction iView the popup doesn't appear.
Does anyone know if there is a way to solve this??

It may be a network issue.
Suggestions:
1. Analyse generated SAGUI shortcut file.
Make your transaction iview "Technique to Start SAP GUI for Windows"=SAPGUI Shortcat.
On the client computer in Win explorer, set "Confirm open after download" for file extension .SAP
Preview of the iview now will generate tx.sap file, which you can analyze to see if connection info is OK.
2. Activate trace in SAPGUI for windows and look at the trace.

Final Cut Express Not Opening File

Hullo,
I bought Final Cut Express last weekend, and received it in the mail on Tuesday. I began using that night. When the night was through, I saved my project and shut my computer down. The next morning, I got up to go back to work on the project. When I opened the project file, Final Cut Express launched succesfully. However an error message popped up stating
"The project is unreadable or may be too new for this version of Final Cut."
I then closed out of that, and created another file with just one of the QuickTime sample files, I ran several edits on it, saved it, and quit. When I reopened it, it worked. So I restarted working on the first project. When I was done for the night, I saved it, and quit. I then just went to reopen it to make sure it worked, but it didn't. It brought up the same error message.
Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much. I went in search of the Final Cut Express .PList, but it wasn't anywhere to be found on my computer. I had thought I had re updated everything recently, but apparently not. Final Cut Express 4.0.1 was one of the options. So I installed it and restarted my computer and launched my project file. It opened up the way it was supposed to, but it came up with a message that said that the project was from an older version and needed to be and could be updated to the new version. I did just that and now it works like a charm.

Final Cut Express not opening, error says final FCE disks are missing.

Hi there,
Recently I got a WD Fire Wire 800 Hard drive for christmas so I could move all of my final cut projects over to the HD.
When I moved my final cut express documents including all of the folders it now says this error.
To preserve the integrity of the data used by final cut express, it is necessary to ensure the existence of the following paths;
- My HDD Chris is missing
Then it gives me the option to reset scratch disks, check again or quit.
So I'm not sure what I do.
Should I simply move back all the folders and documents that I moved to my hard drive (btw I tried this but it still gave the same error message). I have deleted final cut express 4.1 and re installed 4.0 to see if it works but it didn't and has the same error message.
Any tips would be helpful.

You moved the software? You can't do that. That's fatal. The software must be on the system drive as it requires system resources. Move the application called Final Cut Express back into the top level of the Applications folder. Do it move it, rename it, or put it inside a folder.
Do not assign the scratch disk to a folder anywhere. If you want the scratch disk to be on your external drive select the top level of the external drive. FCE will create the folders it needs in that location.

Do you mean move my folder of final cut express that I moved onto my HDD?
If so it's copying the 20GB folder as I speak. Hopefully fixes this frustrating problem..

Incoming Mail triggers Express mail notification

We have EIC set up to receive incoming mails.
These mails each launch a window saying 'You have received an express mail'
When we get to production we are expecting many 100s of mails per day and the pop up is considered unnecessary and annoying by the users.
How do we turn off the pop up, preferably by user rather than globally,
or can we indicate that incoming mails are not express mails?

There is a way to disable this only at logon time.
There is a flag in Office Shared Settings:
No notification of unread mails when logging on - This flag indicates that the dialog box that informs users of new messages when they log on to the R/3 System is to be deactivated.

Express Mail vs. Versa Mail

Please help! I just got a Centro for Christmas and have been having some issues with the email portion of my palm. I only have email from yahoo so I prefer to have the Express Mail set up - unfortunately, when I press the mail key on my Centro, it goes directly to the Versa Mail in which it says my log-in and password is incorrect. Is there anyway that I can just take Versa Mail off of my Centro or does anyone know a way in which I can keep the Express Mail active so I can just press the mail key and it goes directly to Express Mail? I had it working earlier today and I don't feel like spending another 3 hours in the AT&T store again to try and resolve.

by default the mail botton goes to versamail..
try changing the configurations of your mail botton...
go to prefs
personal categories
then bottons
you will see there the icon for mail change it to your desired application (expressmail)

Express Mail Popup

Hello,
When users on logged on system and they receive express mail, they get notification through express mail pop up.
But when users are not logged on and they get express mail it goes to their inbox but they do NOT get popup when they log on next.
What could be the reason.

Hi Aj,
Go to Tr. SO16 on the users tab you will have flag, where you can set up wether you want a pop-up about unread documents when users log on. You have to enable this here.

Additonal SAP-User as a receiver of an express-mail (EXIT_SAPLFCIM_280)

I want to add a SAP-user as a receiver of an express-mail by using function module "EXIT_SAPLFCIM_280". Does anybody has experience in the configuration/programming of this function module? The goal is to add an additional SAP-user in the internal table CT-RECEIVERS.

I really don't have an answer for that one. I guess that while trying to get things working correctly, I would use the most basic monitor I had which in your case would be the Eizon using the Thunderbolt port and adaptor.
When you boot into Safe Mode the startup is quite slow, but you should get the Apple logo and then the spinning gear below it (release the SHIFT key when it appears.) Then after a little more time you should see a gray progress bar appear below the spinning gear. When that disappears the computer will startup to a login screen.

I have an AirPort Express, iPhone 5, and MacBook (late 2010). How do I see the graphical overview of my network? (I can't seem to find a way to see it).
My computer is acting....well, strange. I can't put my finger on it but it doesn't seem right. Menus look skewed. Some applications look like they're trying to disguise themselves as apple (no consistant window formats). Airplay turns on and off on my devices on it's own. And some locked system preference seem to unlock themselves, or won't even grey-out after I lock them.
I have changed my password many times but the issue keeps coming back. I feel like I'm going crazy - but I know that something just isn't right...maybe someone's been hacking me? (I have no idea why...)
Anyway, maybe I could have stemmed from an improper setup of my wireless network.
Any thoughts?
Also, right now, when I just signed into apple communities....
     I have an iCloud email address that is accociated with my 1 and ONLY Apple ID...
     It seems to have been working but...
     When I loged in here it only saw my:
                              OLD MacBookPro
                              3 Old iPods
                              My new MacMini with OS X Sever (Server is currently turned off)
     Could my Apple ID be confusing my MacBook (which I'm currently using) as an old iPod or my old MacBookPro?
     I doesn't even see my iPad (1st generation), or my iPhone 5
     Also, the Mac App store is giving me the option to download Mountain Lion??? I already have version 10.8.3...

i guess you could put the aiport utility app on your iphone, click on the aiport express there, it will show you how many devices are connected to it and the mac addresses of those devices.

Saw somewhere that supposedly there were some apple written guidlines on the above topic. I have searched all over for them. Anyone know where I can get a copy to read through. Just trying to educate myself a bit and sety up another room with access to itunes, radio, etc with high quality speakers and amp off my express.
