EXS and the EWI 4000s vyzex patch app

A buddy of mine has a studio and uses Logic. When I told him I bought an EWI 4000S,
he laughed and said 'you?, Mr. Acoustic',
he said bring it all over to his studio and lets hook it up and have some fun,
which we did ... hours and hours
The EWI comes with an app, Vyzex, which is how you make patches to upload to the EWI.
As we were knee deep in him trying to teach me how Logic worked,
and the differences between
an LFO and a UFO .... he noticed that
the EXS portion of Logic Pro has an option to 'open with Vyzex',
which when you do that, up pops the Vyzex app, and you can hear
the sound from Logic, but, you can't work with it or
save the sound into the EWI or Vyzex.
So, are we missing something to save the patch, or does the fact that
EXS opens Vyzex really not mean all that much. As you can probably tell,
I'm pretty new at this....

If it's just a sysex editor for the EWI as it appears to be, then it has nothing to do with the EXS sampler or audio in general.
I don't know why the app registers itself in Logic, but the EXS is all about playing back sampler instruments, and this has absolutely nothing at all to do with sysex, MIDI or editing the EWI.

iOS? I believe you mean Mac OS X 10.10.3
Keynote is only free to purchasers of a new Mac within the first 12 months of purchase.
Upgrading to Yosemite on older Macs does not qualify itself for free upgrades of Keynote.

In my itunes library I have apps for the ipod. All of the apps were together, and now I have two different sections to my apps. The first one says 44 apps and the second section says 143 apps. When I connect my ipod only the first section goes on

can anyone help me with my apps on my itunes. They have separated for some reason. I have one section of 44 apps and the other has 121 apps. Only the top section will sinc with my ipod because at the side where it says apps, it is only showing the 44 apps and not the section at the bottom

Can you take a screen shot of the iTunes screen and post it? I do not really understand what you mean by different sections.
What model iPod and iOS do you have? Maybe the section that does not sync are not compatible with the iPod.
Were all the apps purchased with one account?
Do you have any Restrictions one that would prevent syncing? Settings>General>Restrictions.

Acrobate professional and the 7.0.7 patch

I have set up the Acrobat Professional 7.0.0 upgrade install VIA the Install Tuner. We have managed to patch the Admin install to 7.0.5. When we try to run the 7.0.7 patch against the Admin install it starts and stops right away like something is wrong with the AcrobatUpd707_all_incr.exe patch file. Can anyone tell me if we are doing something wrong or is there in-fact something wrong with the 707 patch? We were successful in patching to 7.0.5 so we are following the same steps that worked with the 7.0.7 patch without any luck.

We were able to run the patch against the admin install and it worked thanks. Were kind of bummed now for two reason's. You know we have the Adobe Pro Upgrade install right? Well we can set up an admin install for the Adobe Pro Upgrade 7.0.0 and we can use that to install Adobe Pro without having our lic version of Adobe Std on the box. We can also patch that to 7.0.5 and it also does not need to have Adobe Std on the box. Kind of nice. Then after we up the admin install to 7.0.7 it is asking for Adobe Std to be installed. They must have fixed that in the 7.0.7 patch. No biggy I guess, we will have to live with that. But the second problem is we get an error when the Adobe Pro 7.0.7 tried to upgrade our Adobe Std 7.0.7 install. The error is "Internal Error 2602. File,Update_2.kfp" Do you know anything about the error? I have not had a chance to look into it as of yet.

Our iphone 4 3gs home button doesn't work well and the phone jumps out of apps

Over the last few months our iphone has been acting funny. Sometimes the home button doesn't work. Sometimes we are in an app and we are jumped into another. What do we do to fix this?

An Update on this issue. I changed the screen and the problem still exists.Flickering has stopped for the moment.

It sounds like you have 2 apps that are not working as expected. I recommend the steps from the following article named:
iOS: An app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open

These steps will get you started but therea are more if needed:
Restart the app
Close the app and open it again.
Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
Update your device software and your apps
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
Update your apps:
Open the App Store and tap Updates.
If updates are available, tap Update All.
If asked, enter your Apple ID password. The updates will download and install.
You might need a Wi-Fi connection to update some apps.
Install another app from the App Store
If your installed app won't open, download and install a free app that isn't on your iOS device. This should reset your Apple ID authorization.
Remember to use the same Apple ID that you used to download the app that you're having issues with.

I can't open any app when I turn the computer on. Mouse has batteries and the screen freezes on 1 app (BBCiplayer) , which obviously is the cause. How can I get rid of this app?

When I turn on the iMac the screen and apps appear as always. However there is 1 app ( BBC iplayer Desktop) which seems to freeze everything. The mouse works OK but when I click on any app or on the apple logo, nothing happens. I can't even turn it off. What should I do?

Ever since my iPhone 4 automatically updated a few days ago with iOS6 the majority of my phone's apps are either very slow or will not work at all (game apps). Is anyone else having this problem? and is there a fix?

since morning today i have been running the iphone 4 with safari icloud sync turned off. i also left bookmarks sync from itunes off. i unplugged the charger at 100% charge at excatly 10 am. i am on 86% at the moment and its 5.30 pm. however i had to plug in the phone to my macbook for 3g internet access at about 91% which got it charged back to 100%. that was for about 30 minutes. so i guess i would had been at around 75% if i hadn't done that.
so i think people are right about the bookmark causing battery drain thing.
tomorrow i am gonna try with the phone rebooted and charger to 100%, with no location service running in the background, just when the app is running, and with all bookmarks deleted from my iphone. if i have to use 3g off my iphone i would use wifi personal hotspot. usually all this use... a few calls, some internet access, whatsapp, maybe a few pictures, and music for say about 2 hours should still leave me 40-50% battery by night, after 16 hours of use. if that goes well, i might have saved my self restoring the iphone to new.
as for the mac, i figured out a way to use timemachine for a smaller hdd. i will simply 'move' those files i dont want to keep on my ssd anyway, to an external hdd. like podcasts, videos and movies. then take a TM backup when the used space is under 120 gb. and then restore that to the SSD. should work, hopefully.

I got a new computer and whenever i went to apps on my iphone all the boxes where grayed out and the box that says sync apps isnt checked.

When i check the box it says that all apps and their data will be replaced with apps from this itunes library. This is a problem since i have a lot of games and dont wanna lose all my saves. how can i sync my apps without replacing them

IOS-7 on i-phone 4: apps are automatically enlarged and the screen size does not fit for large apps. How can I disable enlarging the apps?

I use IOS-7 with I-Phone 4. The icons are enlarged automatically (size on the screen), and the screen cannot show all app icons at the same time. The right side of the applications is cut (when used) because the screen size is insufficient. What can I do to disable this enlargement of the icons?

Apps are in iTunes, are not part of the backup and when you updated the phone, you need to sync that content back.
