Exs24 Source and Trigger Effect

Question

Hey, I noticed in the exs, when you hit the pitch button and press a note down it glides from a lower note to reach the note you are hitting. I want to do the opposite. I want to hit a note and hold it steady, but when I let go, the Decay of the note detunes. Kinda like certain 808s, but not quite. Like if I held a pad down, it wold play the correct note, but as soon as I take my hands of the keys I want the notes to detune rather rapidly. Thanks!!! I used to know how to do this in Arturia, but its been a while

You'ld have to assign envelope 1 to Pitch.
Like so:
the sustain percentage is important. If you assign +1200 cents envelope to pitch, you have to use the tune knob to compensate down for that, so that the Pitch is correct during the *sustain phase* (holding down the keys) of the envelope.
In the example settings below, on release the pitch will fall 58% of an octave (=a fifth) during the complete release time. Of course, all these parameters can be automated as well. I just made this setting based on your question:
From the preset Grand Piano 1028 I have only tweaked the highlighted parameters.
In this setup (env to pitch at +1200, sustain at ±58 % and tune at -7), the pitch will fall a fifth on release.
