Extend Object in Org model to add Business Role

Hi All,
How can I extend Object in Org model to add Business Role(e.g Sales Manager)?
Thanks

Hi Ashley,
If you right click on org unit select create option.
Select position & create the position you want to create.
You can transport the org unites & positions thru SE38.
Use programme RHMOVE30
Select
Plan version                    01  Current plan
Object type                     O   Organizational unit ( S fopr positions)
Select "tanport object" fo Transport screen.
You will be able to create the request.
Trust it clarifies doubt.
Reward if useful.
Thanks,
Rahul

  • HR ALE org model distribution - multiple business partners created

    Hi,
    I am experiencing weird problems with HR ALE org model distribution to CRM 7.01. It creates multiple business partners for some org units and some persons. However, it does not create them everyone. Right now it seems like a new business partner is created on every second destribution in update mode. Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong? In my understanding no new business partners should be created, rather the existing ones should be recognized and updated.
    There is just one IDoc warning saying there was an error calling function module BUPR_EMPLO_ADDR_ADD because parameter value IV_X_SAVE has changed. This warning apperas everytime, also when no new business partner is created. Thus I am not sure if this is important. Also I do not use any custom coding, so I don't think that I am causing this warning.
    Thanks a lot

    I just discovered a part of the problem. In CRM the relationship between the organisation unit and its business partner gets deleted if it already exists. On next update a new business partner is created, because there is no business partner assigned to the organisation unit yet.
    It would be interesting to know why the relationship is deleted. Also I am not sure that it happens to all organisation units. Furthermore the same problem exists for persons.

  • Missing Business Attributes in Org Model

    Hi,
    I am working on CRM 5.0 system...In the process of creating Master data... I have created an Org model under that created some Org units.....
    In any Org unit of any Org model > under the business attributes tab..... I am not able to see the entries for Division, Distribution Channel, Tupel and some other...
    And also I could not see any values for division and distribution channel under BP>Sold to Party Role>Sales Area Data.....
    Could anyone tell me what would be the reason.....
    Thank you very much for your help in advance....

    Dear Sr,
    I hope I got your question right.
    I guess the attribute entries (Division, distribution channel, tupel etc) are invisible in your system. You may check the following:
    Use t.code <b> OOATTRCUST </b>
    In the screen that opens select your scenario for which you cant see these entries. i.e. sales, marketing , service etc.
    And then double click on the attributes/ scenarios folder from the left hand frame.
    You will now see a large list of attributes. See if your attributes (Division, distribution channel, tupel etc) are made invisible becos of the check box invisible being ticked besides each of them.
    If so, uncheck it. You should now see the entries.

  • Business role transportation

    Hi Experts,
    I have created 2 new business roles, they are working properly.These 2 new business roles are the copies of sales manager and sales employee.I have transported from development to testing client, but only one business role is appearing in testing client and other one missing. What could be the reasons.
    Regards
    Krishna

    Hello,
    Well, that depends on what you mean with "but only one business role is appearing in testing client and other one missing".
    Do you only see one business role when you logon to the WebUI?
    --> If yes this simply means that you are not assigned to this role in the organizational model
    Or, do you mean that in the business role customizing activity only one of your business roles is present?
    > If yes check your transport request and see what entries were taken into that transport. It might be that the other business role is contained in another transport that is not yet released/imported. You can search all transports in a system to see if they contain specific objects in transaction SE01 and then in the menu select "Goto>Objects in Requests" and search for business role objects.
    Hope this helps,

  • Can I create and add my own customized attribute in Org.Model?

    Hi,
    I have a question on Org.Model. If I have to add my own attribute in the 'Attributes' tab, how can I add one.
    My scenario is like this:
    We are using the std Org determination based on employee responsible. But an employee may exist in more than one position in the CRM Org.structure. The ideal scenario would be to have the Org Determination talking place with a combination of Employee Responsible and the Store(customized) partner function.
    Please see what guidance you experts can give me. Points will be generous.
    Thanks,
    John

    Hi Fredrick,
    I dont think this should be a problem as when a user is assigned to two different org units, and when you are using the rule based to determine org based on the user (standard rule 10000194), the system will pop up to select the relevant org (it will pop up both org units where the user is assigned) and you need to select one that is relevant to you.
    This pop comes in transactions when you enter the employee responsible and if the org data profile is assigned to the transaction type.
    Hope this clarifies as per my undersatnding of your requirement and reward points if useful.

  • Listing all Ogranisation Objects under one org model

    Hi
    I would like to create a list of organization(s) created under one org model.  I had searched for Organization model related tables , I could get all organization objects in table HRP1000 , but here I am having Ogr Objects other then my Organization Model as well.
    What I am looking for
    For Example : If I am having following ORG structure
    ORG Root
         ORG Region 1
         ORG Region 2
              Position 1
         ORG Region 3
              Org Region 3.1
                   Position 1
    My objective is to find a way (Table/ Report program ) to create a list of all O Org objects under ORG Root

    Olaf, JJordheim,
    Thank you for quick response. Some users will have Content Manager and possibly System Administrator, User roles.  I was wanting to know if there is a method we can prevent  these Super users from  making changes by setting
    some folder parameter value.
    Are you stating I should remove the Content Manager and Publisher for the Super users?
    Thanks

  • How to add business Transactions and areas to CIC

    Hi
    I have assigned IC_AGENT under CRM_UI_PROFILE.
    when I login in web I see the CIC default menu
    Upto this point it is perfect.
    If I want to see sales, service marketing menus what should I do.
    I tried to add SALESPRO under CRM_UI_PROFILE , it take only one parameter value at time either IC_AGENT or SALESPRO
    If want to add more than one parameter what should i DO
    2) I tried
    Assign Business Role to the Position in Org. Model (Org. Unit -> double click on position (eg: Sales Manager) -> select Goto (Main Menu) -> select Detail Object -> select enhanced object description -> select business role in active tab page -> click on create -> select/assign business role (ex: sales manager)
    I dont see bussienss trasactions related to sales manager in CIC
    3)  If want to test calls from my home telephone is this possible in test systems?

    Hi Rama,
    Using the CRM_UI_PROFILE parameter in transaction SU3 is a great way to test a profile, however these parameters can only
    accept one value.
    In CRM 7.0 you can now use the value "*" (without quotes) which will give you access to all business roles.
    If you want to be able to choose between different business roles when you log on, then, in organzational mangement, enhance the object description at different levels (person, BP, position, etc..) and your user will have access to the different roles through inheritance.  Be certain to delete the value from CRM_UI_PROFILE first before testing though, as that setting with supercede the customizing in Org Management.
    If you wish to see views from the SALESPRO business role in IC_AGENT, do the following:
    1)Create a Z-copy of the IC_AGENT role;
    2)Create a Z-copy of the IC_AGENT navigation bar profile (transaction CRMC_UI_NBLINKS);
    3)Assign the new Z-navigation bar profile to your new Z-copy of the IC_AGENT role;
    4)In transaction CRMC_UI_NBLINKS copy the relevant Work Center IDs to your Z-navigation bar profile;
    5)In transaction CRMC_UI_PROFILE activate the relevant work centers for your business role:
         a) Select your new business role;
         b) Double-click on 'Adjust Work Centers";
         c) Field "Inactive" must NOT be checked for the new Work Center IDs that you added in step 4;
         d) Make certain there is at least ONE active link that is assigned to the Group Link of the Workcenter;
         e) Double-click on Adjust Work Center Group Links;
         f) Compare against the same settings for the SALESPRO business role and make certain that the workcenter entries are checked 'visible' - and 'in menu', if desired.

    That's a big topic, but if you integrate a CTI then yes, you can test that way.
    The simplest way, however, is to set up your Contact Center Simulator.  Please see the following link:

  • Transporting CRM Org Model

    I have a simple Org model with only one sales org/distribution channel/division but I need to ensure I protect the dependencies on Sales Org ID that exist in various condition techniques that I will tranport from the Dev system.
    I believe I have to a) set object lock in target system, b) run report RHMOVE50 to add new or changed org models components to my transport c) transport to target system and d) run report HRALXSYNC or CRM_COM_ORGMAN_BUPA_INTEGRATE to generate the required BP Org Units

    Hi Naaven
    You have to create a Number Range and Business Partner Group for organizational units.
    The ID of the Number Range and BP Group have to be the same for example "Z1".
    Then you have to go to IMG >Customer Relationship Management>Master Data>Business Partner> Integration Business Partner-Organization Management> Set Up Integration with Organizational Management.
    Enter de Following values:
    Group     Sem.abbr.     Value abbr     Description
    HRALX     HRAC     X     Activate HR Integration
    HRALX     OBPON     ON     Integration O-BP Activated
    HRALX     ONUMB     2     Business Partner Number Assignment (Org. Unit)
    HRALX     OSUBG     Z1     Business Partner Subgroup (Organizational Unit)
    Hope this helps

  • Best practice on extending the SIEBEL data model

    Can anyone point me to a reference document or provide from their experience a simple best practice on extending the SIEBEL data model for business unique data? Basically I am looking for some simple rules - based on either use case characteristics (need to sort and filter by, need to update frequently, ...) or data characteristics (transient, changes frequently, ...) to tell me if I should extend the tables, leverage the 'x' tables, or do something else.
    Preferably they would be prescriptive and tell me the limits of the different options from a use perspective.
    Thanks

    Accepting the given that Siebel's vanilla data model will always work best, here are some things to keep in mind if you need to add something to meet a process that the business is unwilling to adapt:
    1) Avoid re-using existing business component fields and table columns that you don't need for their original purpose. This is a dangerous practice that is likely to haunt you at upgrade time, or (worse yet) might be linked to some mysterious out-of-the-box automation that you don't know about because it is hidden in class-specific user properties.
    2) Be aware that X tables add a join to your queries, so if you are mapping one business component field to ATTRIB_01 and adding it to your list applets, you are potentially putting an unnecessary load on your database. X tables are best used for fields that are going to be displayed in only one or two places, so the join would not normally be included in your queries.
    3) Always use a prefix (usually X_ ) to denote extension columns when you do create them.
    4) Don't forget to map EIM extensions to the extension columns you create. You do not want to have to go through a schema change and release cycle just because the business wants you to import some data to your extension column.
    5) Consider whether you need a conversion to populate the new column in existing database records, especially if you are configuring a default value in your extension column.
    6) During upgrades, take the time to re-evalute your need for the extension column, taking into account the inevitable enhancements to the vanilla data model. For example, you may find, as we did, that the new version of the S_ADDR_ORG table had an ADDR_LINE_3 column, and our X_ADDR_ADDR3 column was no longer necessary. (Of course, re-configuring all your business components to use the new vanilla column can also be quite an ordeal.)
    Good luck!

  • Re-Synch of ERP HR Org Model with CRM

    Hi All
    We replicate HR Organisation Model changes from ERP HR to CRM.  However, some time ago the HR distributional model was amended so that relationship data (infotype 1001) was not included in any of the group filters (BD64).
    As a result we now have Org Units, Positions and Person objects that have transferred to CRM that are isolated and not linked to other objects.  I need to re-synch the CRM org model.  I know which filter settings I need to add for for new org model changes but how do I fix the existing org model objects that don't have the correct relationships?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Mark

    I found the solution.
    It's the object com.sap.caf.eu.gp.callobj.manager.SAPHRManagerResolveCO

  • ORG MODEL IN CRM

    HI GUYS,
    In the Org model in CRM the person who worked before me assigned user record to the positon.He did not assign employee record to the position. Hence when I am updating the employee records in R/3 they are not getting updated in the ORG Model.
    SO is there a way so that we can change user records to the employee records for all the positions in ORG MODEL

    Hi Zack,
    I don't know there is an automated way of doing this. But the manual way is to go to ORG model transaction PPOMA_CRM and search for your root org unit. You can search by description. And then go to each position and place the cursor on user record and right mouse button, click delete assignment. This will delete the user assignment. In order to add the business partner (employee) place the cursor on position and say Assign-> Owner Business partner. In the dialog box you can either enter the user ID or business partner number if you know that.
    In order to assign the employee ID, you need to first create a business partner employee role and assign the user ID in the identification tab
    Sorry, I don't know if there is an easy way to assign all the employees at once unless you write a program for it.
    Hope this helps!

  • Business roles for diffrent org positions

    Hi guys,
    I have an issue:
    I have an organization model:
    Org ABC-> Org A-> channel manager
                  -> Org B-> partner manager
    I assigned channel manager role to channal manager in org A but when i assign partner manager role in org B , it overwrites the channel manager role for org A also. In short the organization model is taking only one business role. What could be the issue?
    I have assigned the required PFCG roles to both the business roles.
    Plz help!!
    Regards
    Shikha

    HI Shikha,
    i hope you are assigning the Role to the Position cretaed in your org model.
    That is by navigating thru
    GO TO-DETAIL OBJECT-ENHANCED DETIAL DESCRIPTION-By creating new infotype for Business Role
    here one can assign the Business Role with the position.
    In case you are not assigning by above mentioned way. Try to do so. Hope this will help.

  • Change log on changing or adding additional position in org model?

    If an employee is assigned to a position in the org model is there a log?  In CDHDR, CDPOS I can see an entry that updates BUT050 to the org unit.  But a org unit could have mulitple positions and if a user gets extended to a 2nd or 3rd position we can't easily see what position was updated at what time.  For each assignment there is new entry in BUT050 to the org unit

    HI
    add that fileds in the all locations where you need it like
