Extended picture info/Facebook help

In Iphoto 11 when I export pictures to Facebook and then write a title for the picture. It goes into my Iphoto library and changes the photo number (ie IMG_222) to the title I gave it in facebook. Which bothers me but now that I know that I can live with it. However if I'm searching my computer for the picture I think it goes by the original picture # not the "facebook title". Point of my question is you used to be able to get the full picture INFO which would show you the original picture # not the title you gave the picture. Is there anyway in Iphoto 11 to find that original picture #. Simply clicking on the INFO when the picture is up only shows me the facebook title. Hope you understand my question. I like a lot of things in IPHOTO 11 but there are some real issues that bother me. They should not sinc it so that facebook changes can change titles in your library.

If you dn't want Facebook to sync with iPhoto then don't use the Share to Facebook option in iPhoto. Why? Because that's specifically designed to sync. That's the point of it. Instead, use some other methos to upload to Facebook.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*Press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the hidden "Menu Bar" temporarily.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images
*Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
*If an image in the list is grayed and "Block Images from..." has a check-mark then remove this check-mark to unblock images from this domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images, the permissions.default.image pref on the about:config page should be 1.
Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors in Firefox.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Note that these settings affect background images.

There are extensions like Adblock Plus (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images and other content.

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

My system crashed several months ago -- had to go back to start, when i bought computer -i have reloaded firefox - and now i can not get pictures on Facebook -mine or any one else in the news feed

When I first downloaded Firefox- everything was normal -- then my computer had to be taken back to the way it was from the factory. I had Trojans. Now I have reloaded Firefox, and I get no pictures on Facebook. With Facebook on display, click on the site identity button (for details on what that is see the [[site identity button]] article) and then on More Information. This will open up the page info dialog.
First select the Permissions panel, make sure that "Load Images" is set to allow (selecting Use Default should also work)
Next select the Media panel, then click on the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll through the list. If any item has the option "Block images from (domain name)" selected, de-select the option.
This should hopefully resolve your issue, but also see [[Images or animations do not show]].
Some add-ons can also block images, for example if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block the images.

Wont let me post pictures on Facebook and overheating!!

I have had this phone for a few weeks now and I love it however a few issues have started creeping up,
Firstly I wanted to post some pictures on facebook, I attached them to a post but when I clicked 'post' it just totally came out of the app so I thought I may have done it too quickly not allowing them to upload properly onto the tag so I tried again and left it a good 5 minutes but again when I clicked 'post' it came out of the app. So I tried a 3rd time (this time with only 1 picture - before this i was trying to upload 3) and again would not let me and just totally came out of Facebook. I resulted in emailing them to myself and uploading them by my laptop!!
Secondly I charged my phone all night last night and it was full this morning before coming to work, around dinner time my phone had dropped right down to about 25% (id only txt a few times) and it was roasting so I decided to take my case off it to find my blue case has now stained my white battery cover, within 20 mins my phone was still roasting but the phone has completely turned off as my battery had gone. I googled to see if I could find a replacement back cover but no nothing!!! Really frustrated as my battery usually lasts around 2 days.
Can someone help me or give me some advice

I post pictures from my z10 daily on facebook. I would uninstall it from MyWorld and re-install it. The App might have been currupted at some point. Actually facebook needs to get their app property programmed for z10.. A lot of people have complained about the facebook app and facebook needs to utilize the app better with the z10.
For charging your phone, make sure you use the charger and the cable that came with your z10. Some of the old Blackbery Cables and chargers don't work, they actually drain your battery. There is a company who has replacement OEM covers , but currently they are out of stock.. I have the white z10 and I also want to replace the back cover with a black one..To create a diffrent look. I spoke to crackberry and they will also be ordering z10 back covers in the near future as a lot of people who want to swap covers to give it the oreo look.

How do I move pictures from Facebook to iPhoto that my friends have tagged me in? Please help I hope it is possible!!

I am over 16 years old so I don't use Facebook.
But this is what I found out.
Click on a photo in Facebook. Just below the photo on the left click Download, save the image to your Desktop. Now drag the image to your iPhoto library.

I think Firefox is keeping certain pictures on Facebook from coming up and I'd like to know Why and how to Fix it if possible.

Certain pictures on Facebook are being blocked and I noticed that Mozilla was doing it when I called up View Page Info. I was just curious why. It came out of nowhere pretty recently, and it pertains to profile pictures (like what people have to represent themselves) and group photos.
Was curious to know if it was safe to turn off and save the checked boxes for those things on the View Page Info as well.

"Extended Photo Info" lost/invisible after migration to new Mac with 10.6.2

I just migrated my iPhoto library to my new Mac running OSX 10.6.2 from a Mac running OSX 10.3 I did this by copying the "Pictures/iPhoto Library" folder to an external drive. Today I tried to use "Show Extended Photo Info", and information appears to be lost? There is no Camera or Exposure information. I re-imported a photo from an old e-mail, and it does have the information! Do the Event/Location/Face features cause this to be deleted from my photos? I used these feature a lot before noticing anything was wrong.
Any ideas? Can I somehow check to see if the JPEG file still has the information? It is not too late to re-do the library import. I cannot live without the exposure information, as I like to play with my camera settings.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. After copying the library to the external HD did you open it directly with iPhoto? When iPhoto 09 converted that library to the latest version it would not have done anything to lose the EXIF data which is stored in the library's database files.
You didn't import that library into a new library did you? If you didn't then try rebuilding the library using iPhoto Library Manager as follows:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 -Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 -Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your User/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File->Rebuild Library menu option
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be untouched for further attempts at fixing or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

GPS Altitude Not in Extended Photo Info or EXIF Dat ahwne exported

I have my own website that uses a Goggle Maps plugin to read and show GPS info for photos I upload. When I use Places to capture that info the Altitude info is not stored either in iPhoto's database or in the EXIF info for the photo when exported. Is there anyway get this info stored in the database and phot when exported?
The Google Maps plugin on my site makes use of the Altitude details to show a more close up image depending on the altitude chosen. Without this info the site just shows a extremely high level world map with a pin showing in the country where the picture was taken. Not particularly useful. So I have to go and edit each file on my website and manually add this info. Which is very time consuming.

There is no provision in iPhoto to add altitude at this time - iPhoto should maintain the EXIF data that is imported - if it is not then I certainly would report that as a bug
When I show extended photo info in iPhoto for photos it shows the altitude - I presume it exports - will test later

I can only see album pictures on Facebook in thumbnail size, when I open the picture it will not load. I can open these pictures on other computers but not mine.

I cant open album pictures on facebook on my computer, but i can on others. I can see pictures thumbnail size, so I can still see pictures, but when I go to open them to see them full size it will not load or show up.

Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > Content: Load Images: Exceptions - See [[Options window - Content panel]]
A way to see which images are blocked is to click the favicon (Site Identification icon) on the left side of the location bar.

Open the Media tab of the "Page Info" window.

WHY DON'T I HAVE PICTURES On FACEBOOK?

Can't see any pictures on facebook

Hey I am new to this.
My facebook been working fine since I bought it (about a month now) and today am having problems with seeing pictures on facebook and there is no facebook logo in the cornor either. I am trying to access it through the normal blackberry browser but it works in opera mini browser but I don't get why its not working in the normal browser it just started today.

Have you tried a battery pull yet?
Also in the browser options, try to clear the cache, cookies, etc.
