Extend Domain to include BPM -- Enterprise manager crashes Java binary

Hello,
I thought I would share a rather puzzling issue. I have been working with a Soa Suite Domain for quite some time now, and have it configured with a java email servers, JMS, Db Adapters, and I wanted to extend this domain so I backed it up and extended it to include BPM. Later when opening EM, I would suddenly get a message saying that the Java SE Binary had stopped working.
There are very few mentions on the net for weblogic, this one being the only one I could find JAVA (TM) Platform SE Binary Stopped Working on SOA Enterprise manager
In my case, it turns out that I had an email server that was using one version of java, while the domain was working on the java version in the installation directory. I went to the control panel, system, environmental variables and took the path of the java that the email server was using, and entered in the java version of the weblogic domain. No problems so far....

Looks like you have conflict with your java home and you are running 2 different JREs. Keep the latest and try launching EM console again and post the exception if you get any.

How many webgate instances should be created?
1) Is there only on instance and the three installation share the same ID?

2. Create authentication scheme which protects / of IIS web server.
Create a Form Authentication Scheme(this scheme should protect OBIEE and EBiz resource) which will have challenge redirect to IIS web server where IWA is configured and / is protected.
Login Flow:
1. User tries to access ebiz or obiee resource.
2. Form Authentication Scheme will challenge redirect to IIS web server where IWA is configured.
3. As IWA is configured. User will be automatically get ObSSOCookie.
4. User gets redirected back to the requested resource.

Extend domain using Templates

Hi All,
I am trying to extend a domain by deploying FMW applications and libraries using Templates.
addTemplates works only on offline mode and by default the applications are deployed on a AdminServer.However I am searching for a way to deploy on a managed servers.
Please suggest a way yo deploy the applcations on a managed serve target using Templates.

Yes.The default FMW (atgpf) domain extension templates are pre-configured with Adminserver as a target.

No soa_server1, bam_server1 after extending IDM domain

Hi!
I've installed IDM (OID, OVD) 11.1.1.3.0 and try to extand existing idm domain with SOA 11.1.1.3.0 for use with IAM.
Install SOA was successful, than I run $WL_HOME/common/bin/config.sh for extend my domain and check configure managed servers - bam_server1 (9001), soa_server1 (8001).
Extending domain Wizards say that extension was successful, but I see no bam_server1 and soa_server1 server's.
How should I fix it?

This is quite normal. You have to start them to see their particular directories.
Do this:
cd $DOMAIN_HOME/bin
# Start the AdminServer
./startWebLogic.sh
# Start the soa_server1
# You will be asked for the admin user and password
./startManagedWebLogic.sh soa_server1
# Start the bam_server1
# You will be asked for the admin user and password
./startManagedWebLogic.sh bam_server1

Error while using unpack.sh command to configure domain

Hi all,
I have to create one common domain for two different boxes.
BOX A has -->weblogic,SOA
BOX B has -->weblogic,OSB
I have configured the Domain in BOX A for SOA first and extended OSB using IP address of BOX B .
Then i pack th domain using pack command .
Then i copied the .jar file to BOX B
Then while i try to unpack this domain i am stuck with this error
The Command i used

Yes, for extending Domain i have installed OSB in BOX A but while configuring the OSB domain i have given the IP of BOX B and then packed that domain.

The oracle DB has all scripts already applied even the the user has been created using the SQLAuthenticator.sql
This is blocking our development environment and we cannot proceed usign oracle.

We migrate templates to maven so we can replace DB settings.

Unable to deploy ADF application to weblogic server

Hi,
We are developing ADF application using jDeveloper 11.1.1.1 and deploying to Weblogic Server 10.3.1. The application is working without any problems on 10.3.1 wblogic platform.
We procured new 64 bit hardware and installed weblogic 10.3.2 and jdeveloper 11.1.1.2 on windows platform. When we are deploying the application developed using jdeveloper 11.1.1.1 on the new platform we are getting the following exception.
An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.

I have tried deploying the application using jdeveloper 11.1.1.2.0, But this time I am getting the following error after commenting the following lines in weblogic-application.xml. I have removed the following lines as I am getting classnot found exception for oracle.adf.share.weblogic.listeners.ADFApplicationLifecycleListener and oracle.mds.lcm.weblogic.WLLifecycleListener.

I installed weblogic with the following steps.
1. Install weblogic 10.3.2 (64 bit)
2. Install jdeveloper (ADF runtime only)
3. Launch configuration wizard.
4. create domain.
5. extend domain with jrf libraries.
5. create managed server

Problem Opening SOA Login Page.

Hello,
I have Configured managed server in my weblogic server. Every thing works fine, I am able to see the default page of
SOA i.e.. http://localhost:7001/, but when I tried to open login page http://localhost:7001/em it encounters following error.

You are getting 404 error because, you might have not configured EM in your domain. While creating the SOA domain, you should also choose Enterprise Manager template.
To add EM to your existing domain do the following steps.
1. Stop all the servers.
2. Invoke the config wizard.
3. Choose Extend Domain option. Select your domain.
4. Choose EM template.
5. Complete the wizard.
6. Start the servers.
Now EM url will be accessible.

Enterprise Manager is not opening.

I have installed SOA Suite 11.1.7 withpur any error.
I have started web logic server without any issue . But when I am trying to open EM CONSOLE , i am getting following error   -
Error 404--Not Found

1)Could you please login to Weblogic Console and Goto Deployments -----> Check if EM application is listed in the Deployments.
2)Incase EM Application doesn't show up then could you please follow the below steps to include EM application :-
    + Goto %MW_HOME%/wlserver_10.3/common/bin
    + Invoke the command ./config.sh ( Linux ) or config.cmd ( Windows )
    + Select "Extend domain" when GUI Comes up.
    + Click on next , Select your SOA Domain , in the Components page select "Enterprise Manager" Component and click next , Click on Extend to include EM in your SOA Domain.
    + Once the application is deployed then Go to Weblogic Console , Deployments and select "EM Application" ----> Select "Server all requests" and see that EM comes to Active state.
   + Access the EM application once the above steps are performed and let us know the result.

Dear team,
We are working on JDEV11.1.1.7 version and SOA suite is 11.1.1.7.
We extended domain for BPM11g .
I am getting below error while creating BPM MDS.SOA MDS is created successfully.
Test Failed: BPM-80112: Generic Security Error. Cause: Invalid Token Error in Verification Service.
Invalid Token Error in Verification Service. Received invalid token in null.
Verify that correct token is passed.
Please suggest.

Do you have the latest bundle patches installed for SOA/BPM 11.1.1.7? You should consult with MOS to get the latest bundle and apply on your installation. Unfortunately I can not provide much more insight as I don't have access to the MOS site.

How to deinstall Oracle URM11g

Hi,
I have extended my weblogic server domain to install URM11g. During the process I haven't added the URM to the existing cluster. After extending the domain the urm directory is created under the domain with the blank config directory. The URM managed server is not available in the weblogic console. Please advise me the steps to deinstall the URM from the domain.

We have clustered ucm environment in weblogic but during URM11g installation we didn't select that option to add to the cluter. At that time weblogic server(Admin server) was up and running. Please advise me for the following queries.
1). After the restart of the Admin server we are not able to see the URM_Server1 in the console.
2). Under the domain directory 'URM' folder has been created with empty config directory.
--> Can we uninstall the URM11g separately from the domain and reinstall inside the cluster. Since in the extend domain screen 'URM' option is selected and grayed out.
--> If it is possiible to uninstall URM11g, during reinstallation og URM11g can we use the same schema or do we need to create a new one.
Please help me to resolve this.

Need info on RCU Schemas like MDS , CAPTURE

Recently we installed webcenter using JSK , after this we tried to extend domain name for the same during this its searching for RCU Schemas like MDS, Capture along with passwords , we searched in database these schemas are not there , its showing this sql query

and also checked this schema_version_registry table is not there along with other rcu schemas
I wanted to know whether this installation will create all these schemas by default or its need manual creation
