    Dear
If F1 is the correct calander , then goto OP03-Calander Maintenece -select the Holoiday Caleneder  and extende the Valaidity till 2020 and also Select the Factory Calander  do the same till 2020 .Now Goback to main screen of OP03-Plant asisngement -re-assing the same F1 calaneder .
Secondly check the factory calender of the plant in OX10.Then in SPRO > enterprise structure >Definition > logistic execution>define shipping point .Select you shipping point and assgin the proper factory calender
.Goto OVX5 , choose your sales organization, click on details, Detailed information tab - Sales Org Calendar (maintain your factory calendar here not Sale Org Calander )
.Check in VOV8, use the "Propose delivery date" and "Lead time in Days" options to default today's date as the requested delivery date.

  • LSO - Issue with Factory calendar End Year and creation of New courses

    Hi,
Recently we are experiencing an Issue in LSO with the system hanging while creation of "Course with Resources".
Upon Analysis we identified that while creating course with resources and by checking "Period without Days off" option references the set factory calendar in LSO config and since this set Factory Calendar has an End Year in 2005, the system hangs trying to reference this factory calendar.
For some course types we are unable to even enter the course creation Data screen. These course types have " Main schedule" (with / without pattern) pre defined.
The issue does not seem to occur if we extend the factory calendar to current period or future.
Please let me know if anybody has faced this issue, if extending the factory calendar the right solution and what is the impact of exteding a factory calendar in HR module. Is the factory calendar referenced anywhere else in HR module?
Note: in LSO config you can set the factory calendar in Training and Event Management>SAP Learning Solution>Training Management>Basic settings>Control Options for Days Off,

  • Factory Calendar Validity Date Expires 2010

    Hi All,
In all standard SAP systems Factory Calendars are delivered with a validity date until 2010 at first installation.
This could lead to follow-up errors at the turn of the year.To overcome the issue we need to extend the validity date of Factory Calender across all SAP system.
As per my understanding we can extend the validity of calender manually in OLTP system (i.e. ECC etc) but in BW system we mostly transfer these validity using the "Transfer global settings".
Is there a way to maintain these validity directly in BW instead of importing it from ECC, and is this recommonded to do it directly in BW?
If we do it directly in, BW will this impact sync between OLTP and BW system etc?
Any expert advice is highly appreciated...
    Regards
    Dev

Yes, the settings can be maintained in BW, in the same IMG position as ECC.
If you have a single ECC system and BW system, I would always 'Transfer Global Settings' in a daily (or weekly - minimum) process chain to insure consistancy between the systems.
If my BW consolidated multiple ECC systems, I would maintian the BW system manually

  • Date not defined in factory calendar

while creating the process order using the t - code COR1, i got error saying that " Date not defined in factory calendar "
i extended the factory calendar in t - code SCAL.
still i am facing the error.
    please help

    Ok Sudhir.
Then the problem is one of the workcenter you are using in Production Order. The Intervals of available capacity are maintained in a work center capacity whose 'To date' is after the expiration date of the factory calendar. The error does not occur if the date is 12/31/9999.
Go to workcenter - Capacity - Interval & shifts
The 'To date' of an interval of available capacity must be maintained so that it is within the validity period of the factory calendar. The exception is the date 12/31/9999, which is allowed.

  • Extending planning calendar SCAL due to Error in PO delivery date

    Hi  ,
When i am trying to create a PO the following error is received if we put delivery date of 2010.
The message is "Deliv. date outside period covered by factory calendar 7A '  message no ME078".
I have checked that this is due to the validity period of calendar 7A being valid till 2009.
So i am trying to change it through SCAL. But when i extend validity to 2010 i get the following message "
"Please enter validity area between years 1997 - 2009

    Procedure

Kindly guide me how can this be corrected.

  • Note 1529649 - Factory Calendar expires 2010

    Hi Experts,
Need a clarifications. Does it affect any work schedule, when we extend the validity of factory calendar.
when Public Holiday Calendar are used in factory calendar does it affect any work schedule .
Please let me know if it affects anything related to HR.
    Regards,
    M Bharath

We don't use Factory Calendars, only our own Holiday Calendars, but they must be valid in the future if we want to generate the Work Schedules.
Our Holiday Calendars are currently valid until 2020, and our Work Schedules have been generated up to December 2015.
This allows the system to "count" the number of absence days (and quota utiliization) for long-term absences (provided they have an end date smaller than 01.01.2016).

  • How to extend factory calender to a plant ?

    Hi Ranga:
How to extend factory calender to a plant ? ( Tcode: SCAL, The calender is not client specific)
I check marked US factory calender, where after can you tell how to extend factory calender to plant
Note: I am using IDES ( International Demonstration & Education System)
    Thanks

    Hi Sandeep,
you need to use the following path
    Go to SPRO>ENTERPRISE STRUCTURE->DEFINITION> LOG GENERAL>DEFINE COPY,DELETE AND CHECK PLANT>DEFINE PLANT
Here you need to assign the factory calendar. The assignment in work center will only applicable for capacity not for MRP and others.
<b>For information how to create a factory calendar</b>
    Pl follow the steps
    1.Go to SCAL transaction
    2.there will be three options.
Click first public holidays and go in change mode.
Click create and create your holidays there and save.(Generally fixed date will be used in the pop up)
3.Now click Holiday calendar and go in change mode.
Click create and give holdiay cal id and description.
Click assign public holiday and add your holidays one by one and save
    Now holiday cal is created.
4.Now come out and choose fact calendar and go in change mode
Click create and give Factory calendar id and description, and validity period.
    Give the holiday calendar ID.
If you want to give special rule like any of the specific date/ day is the holiday or work day (which is different from holiday calendar you can define)
    and save.
5.You have to assign factory calendar to PLANT
    Go to SPRO>ENTERPRISE STRUCTURE->DEFINITION> LOG GENERAL>DEFINE COPY,DELETE AND CHECK PLANT>DEFINE PLANT
Choose your plant and go to details-
You have to define factory calendar there
    Hope this will help you
    Regards

  • Difference between calendar used in capacity profile & factory calendar?

    Hello experts
I am trying to check available capacities in planning book & found some ambiguities.
In /SAPAPO/RES01, factory calendar maintained in the resource is say Z1, but in the same page, the capacity profile tab uses a different calendar.Say in Z1, if X/X/XXXX is a working day, the one present inside capacity profile considers it as a holiday & the  available capacity doesn't reflect in planning book.
In ECC, the plant where this work center is defined follows calendar Z1.
So my doubt is which calendar the capacity profile follows & how to ensure that it follows the same factory calendar Z1?
    Regards
    Soum

    Hello Soumyajit,
    few things you can check,
Plant and work center calender assignment should be same, Plant has precedent over WC
Check if in CFC9 you have correct change transfer mode set for resource.
Once calender updated in ECC, use program RSIMPCUST to rebuild the tables for factory calendars in APO and then run /SAPAPO/CRES_CREATE_LC_RES to extend the resource in LC
also run /SAPAPO/TIMESTREAM_UPDATE for any time stream update.
This will update capacity profile as well resource capacity in planning book/ planning board.
Hope this info will help you,
    Thanks,
    Rajiv

  • How to update Factory Calendar in SRM

Do we need to have Factory Calendar updated in SRM as currently it shows valid to 2010?
My understanding is that this is only for ECC. What is Factory Calendar used for in SRM? How do I update/ extend it?

Hi Jagdish, How are you? I'm sorry to trouble you,
Let me introduce, I'm Daniel, and I saw your fantastic asnwer in
the topic "How to update Factory Calendar in SRM", and might I have the same
problem. It's with the "factory calendar".
In transaction va02 when I choose a Delivery Date, and I sent it to process, as
a result in the "shipping tab" it calculated to the first item one date, and to
the rest one date different.  I don't know What it happen?
I debugged the program and I saw that to the first item use to calculate the
date is the function  'APO_SCHEDULING', and to the rest item use
'SD_SCHEDULING', and until here I come.
How can I do to what the dates calculated are the same? or What would be the problem?
I need the dates calculated are equal.
I looked at it's using two "factory calendar" which are "J4" and "C2". Is this
    correct?
    Thanks In Advance,
    My best regards,

  • Factory Calendar update

    Hell All
For plant my client is requesting that 26 December 2014 be marked as a non working day. The plant is
all taking this day as one of their floating holidays and need it considered as
non work day in factory calendar to extend their Christmas break.
Is there any impact if we do this for other module etc.,,what would be best way if we do through open client or landscape.
Can anyone tell me how to do the same.
    Regards
    Ananthi

    Hello Remi,
While I try to create a workbench request it shows the target system deletes the Holiday calendar.Factory Calendar etc.,after moving the TR it deletes the initial and overwrites ?
when I try to check for transport conflict analysis it takes production logon which never happens before.
Also here I have made the changes for Factory calendar alone in special rule, whereas no changes to holiday calendar, for this case is it require to run the work schedule rule.

  • Factory calendar AJ and AM

Can you tell the use of the factory calenders AJ and AM and where it is being used.
    Nevin

    Dear,
Factory calendar AM (Monthly Settlements) and AJ (Annual Settlements) are mostly used in SALES & DISTRIBUTION REBATE settlements. For the settlements these calendars must be pre defined in system. Please check the more usage information below where and which way these will work in SD :
You can define any validity period for a rebate arrangement you require, unless a rebate arrangement calendar is already defined in Customizing. Subsequent rebates are often valid for a long period of time or indefinitely. Rebate arrangements such as these are initially created for a shorter period, such as one calendar year.
The rebate arrangement must be extended before the validity period expires and the associated purchasing documents are entered. If an arrangement calendar is assigned to a rebate arrangement via the arrangement type, this rebate arrangement can be extended using report RWMBON05. An annual arrangement calendar has been defined here.
If you want to settle a condition periodically, you also have to define an arrangement calendar. The calendar defines the validity periods for the period conditions and the settlement dates.
In the example provided here, the settlement is carried out monthly. The calendars have already been defined by SAP. You can also define your own calendars, however, for quarterly or biannual settlement. To maintain the calendars, choose the following menu path:
SAP Reference IMG  Materials Management  Purchasing  Subsequent (End-of-Period Rebate) Settlement  Agreements  Maintain Calendar for Rebate Arrangements

  • Query Regarding Factory Calendars

I see most of the calendars in our system (4.7) are end dated to 2010.  Does any one know whether the default calendar start /end dates are 1990 to 2010?
I am planning to extend them by 5 to 10 years.  Do I need to take any special precautions?  I am aware that calendars are client independent.
Does SAP provides calendars as a note that can be downloaded and transported??
    Any advice highly appreciated.

    Hi
You can create your own factory calendar and then change the end year and then first of all you need to configure holiday days and then working days also.
You need to transport the data if you are configuring a new factory calendar or you have to transport the data if you are changing the standard factory calendar also
