Extending the time that images in slides [single ones] display beyond other

I am putting together a presentation and while some slides are on screen long enough because I have parts moving in slowly and causing that = when I have a slide with a single image it rushes in and ends fast and I can't seem to slow it down to just display it for a bit while people look at it== I have used None and Appear as Build In but apparently can't set the time to let it just sit there for viewing ...how do I get it to just stay put and display for around 5 or so seconds without making that affect all the other slides? I tried to use the Inspector for the document but it appears to do it for all slides and I want to do it for only one here and htere.

I'm working on my wedding dvd, and I am including a rolling credit that lists all of the guests to be pasted at the end of the movie. The problem is when I include more and more people to the list, the lettering gets smaller in a bid to fit all the text in to a certain time frame. Obviously, the credits should be allowed to run for a lot longer to allow for the extra text. Is there a way of extending the time that the credits last for. I have tried dragging it, have fiddled with the scroll time (58 secs I think, not long enough for what I want to do.) Is it possible to do, or is this way to ambitious for this particular program. If so, would Final Cut do it?

How can I set the number of rings on my phone before voicemail picks up? The default of 20 seconds is too short. I would like to extend the time to 30 seconds. How can I do this?

It's set by the system at roughly 30 seconds; sometimes using a different ringtone helps.

Let me explain the scenario.
We have developed several reports for its use by the several users of the company. So, we have reports for Management, Administration, Commercials and our Production Users. Let's focus in last ones. Several reports shows the production of our semi-elaborated and elaborated products and the stock of the components needed to build those semi-elaborated and elaborated products.
Our Production users, wants to know how to include a calculated column that shows the times that an item appears in the report (or if there is a way to show in the report, how many times an item appears in it).
We have just trried to create a calculated column including in it the COUNT_DISTINCT function (using its both expressions), but we do not understand all the parameters.
So can anyone in the community help us?

It all depends on what information you have in your report and what data items are available in the database.
If you have a grouped report (group sort) so that you have one line for each product, then you can use COUNT_DISTINCT(item_id) as a grouped function. This will give you the number of different not null item_id's found in the group.
However, if your report is not grouped by product, so for example, you have many component lines for each product but you want to show one figure for all the product components lines then you need to use COUNT_DISTINCT(item_id) as an analytic function. The COUNT_DISTINCT(item_id) OVER (PARTITION BY product_id) will give you the number of not null item_id's for each product_id in the report.
If you have the time when an item is added to the database then you may want to use the group function MIN(time_of_item) to show the earliest time in the report.

Count the time that the output is active

I have made a program with a state machine, but I have one problem. I don't know how I can count the time that the output is active. I have tried several things, but the timer doesnt do what I want. The one time it counts up, also when the output is not active, or it starts counting again (start at 0) everytime its active.
Furthermore I have made a delay before the output is active and a delay when a other output is active. The first time it runs it works, but the next time it also doenst work. I think the source of this problem is the same as the one from the counter but I dont know for sure.
Can anybody help me with this? See the attachment for my VI. The counter is in case "pump up 10".

Is it possible to add all the time I spent on activities in one calendar?

I have set up iCal so that there are different calendars for each project that I am doing. Is there a way to automatically sum up the time that I spent on all the activities within that calendar? It would make my life easier because I can then tell a client quickly how much time I have spent on their account within a certain time-frame.
I suspect this would require a script rather than something straight out of iCal?

You can create an array of clusters with one element being the time and the other being the voltage, like so (using the "Get Waveform Components" function):

Actually in my company we have one plant 1000 that plant provide the service like (CUTTING (SHAFT),WELDING,MACHINING,PAINTING)
actually plant already made one material xyz and supply 2000 plant .
we can use STO in this scenario and set special procurement key 80.
But my requirement is after some time plant 1000 provide few operation in xyz material that material already supply to 2000 plant.
in this case we dont use to produce any material.

Extending the time for a photo inserted into Motion timeline

I'm a newbie to Motion and I've downloaded the dvMatte for Motion so I can do what I hope to do, which is to shoot a short Monthly PodCast in front of a green screen and insert a Virtual Set behind me.
I insert my clip into motion, apply the dvMatte filter, then add a picture of the virtual set as a layer to the timeline.
It looks great, initially. But the image/picture is inserted with a duration of only 3 seconds. I can't seem to locate a way to extend the duration for that picture to the same as that of the keyed clip.
The clip is, in this case only 8 seconds. So I end up with a great 3 seconds of my virtual set with me in front of it, then just the black matte behind me.
Are photos not permitted to be extended?
