"Extened attributes are inconsistent" Error

I just purchased my iPhone4 and was unable to open my iTunes from my desktop. I was told I may have an old version of iTunes, so I downloaded the new version. I have the setup saved on my desktop, but I'm unable to run it. I'm getting this error message when I run my iTunes Setup as admin.
I've also tried to change the time and date on my computer through the control panel and I'm unable to open any icons.
Any help would be great. Thanks.

ATried to open Firefox browser to read mail but it wouldnt open. An error message indicated something about version 12 and version 11 issues so I uninstalled Firefox and used Explorer to download a fresh copy. Wouldnt install.

Thank you for the reply. I forgot to mention that I did run scans for viruses and malware and came up clean.
I ran the System File Checker and it told me there are corrupt files that could not be repaired. I dont understand all the info that I read on the CBS.log, but from what I gather from the link you provided I'll be doing a reformat today. :(
What puzzles me is the fact that all was well when I shut down my computer but by morning there were corrupt files????? Strange no virus, no malware so what on earth happened? The million dollar question.:)

I created a free text SC and after approval by the manager, the SC was routed to the Sourcing cockpit as I had activated sourcing for the product category that was ordered.
Now in the SOCO, when I select my SC and click on the 'Next' button, I get an error : "The attributes of the user are inconsistent or not defined. See transaction PPOMA_BBP."
I have defined the following attributes for my purchaser
Acct assgnmnt Categry --- (Cost centre)
Acct system for vendor --- (ECC logical system)
Company code --- (XXX)
Cost centre --- (XXXXX)
Del address --- (XXXXX)
Doc type in R/3 --- (ECPO)
Local currency --- (EUR)
Mov type --- (201)
System Alias --- (ECC logical system)
System alias for accounting system --- (ECC logical system)
System alias for vendor --- (ECC logical system)
User role --- (employee/op purchaser/st purchaser)
Which other attribute do I need to define? Is there something that I have missed?
Strangely it works fine if I give my user SAP_ALL profile!!

I did regenerate the role and it is in green now. Still it does not work.
However I noticed that when I ran the attribute check for Purchaser's position, I got the following errors.
Application 'RFx': Assign purchaser PURCHASER1 to a purchasing organization
Message no. BBP_ATTR_CHECK151
Diagnosis
User PURCHASER1 has a purchaser's authorizations but is not assigned to any purchasing organization.
System Response
Purchaser PURCHASER1 (position S 50000015) cannot run the EBP applications RFx without encountering errors.
Procedure
Assign a purchasing organization to purchaser PURCHASER1 (position S 50000015). Select an organization unit above the purchaser and select the property 'purchasing organization' on the 'Function' tab.
I have already done the above, all org units have a function that links them to backend ECC. Why is it still prompting me with the same error?

Error RSM006 "Attributes are not yet maintained"

Hello everyone, I have had a problem with two infopackages, one of them has the 0COORDER_TEXT datasource and the other 0COORDER_ATTR datasource. When I run the process chain with these infopackages, I have the error RSM006 "Attributes are not yet maintained", if I try to change these infopackages with the RSA1 I have the same error.
Do you have any suggestion to solve this problem?

Thank you, I check your recommendation and I found everything ok, the 0COORDER is ok and active, and the tranfer rules are ok and active too, I don't know what other thing could be the problem.

I get the following error when I try to deploy a Project from NWDS.

I guess there must an entry missing in the j2ee-components-generator.xml file in your j2ee engine.

The query is based upon Multiprovider (based upon 2 basic cubes).
Both cubes are partitioned by info object 0CALMONTH, (valid range - 01.2005 - 012.2010).
Those cubes are not containing any non-cumulative key figures and Service package level for SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0 is u2018SAPKW70012u2019.
I have checked those cubes in RSRV and carry out following steps:
"All Elementary Tests -> Transaction Data" and execute the repair "Consistency of the Time Dimension for an Info Cube"
I have found system inconsistency like u201CRecord with the DIMID 2 contains non-fitting time characteristics u201C
Detail ERROR:
Record with the DIMID 2 contains non-fitting time characteristics
Message no. RSCV053Diagnosis
The data record of the time dimension table with the described DIMID contains values for time characteristics that do not fit together.
I have found the u2018 Note 1130450 - Query displays error DBMAN 284; RSRV: Time dimension checku2019 for this but still not sure this will work or not .
I tested this in dev server , didn't feel useful.
Could you please let us know what to correct this error.

I installed this OS, and it looks nice, but it's terrible to use. I randomly have the volume controls get disabled, and sometimes the volume menu in the system tray does nothing when adjusted which I've never seen in an OS before. The trash won't empty. When I try to drag and drop newer files over existing ones, nothing happens. The old ones just stay there. I have to delete the old ones and then move the new ones. And when I go into the protected files to manage audio plugins (I make music), the first thing I hit are error codes galore, and password prompts that either don't popup when they should, or don't execute the command after I provide my password.

Back up all data before proceeding.

Consider the below example
we have maintained a material from KG to MM which is not a standard SAP conversion but client requires this conversion as
Tubes (Steel) are mainly ordered in M (Meters) but invoiced by the supplier in KG. Then used in production in KG again. In that case we need a conversion M <-> KG.
This is very common practice even in indirect material (e.g. Oil, you order barrels, tu vendor invoices KG and you handle Liters in your stock
can anyone guide me if there is any BADI or SAP note available for this error.

there are a lot of restrictions on objects to be used in query for Tcode RSCRM_BAPI, please check the corresponding How To doc in www.service.sap.com/bi in previous release section.
I think you are using an object not allowed for RSCRM_BAPI extraction.

Attribute change run error in daily job (BI 7.0 SP 23)

We are facing an Attribute Change Run error in one of our daily batch job.we donnot see any locks in SM12.and a dump occurs in ST22.we also donnot have any master data load running at that time .We executed the the FM RSDDS_AGGR_MOD_CLOSE,but the Change run error occurs frequently .How to get the root cause of this issue as we donnot have any master data load running at that time.

If you are sure that your master data is 0MATERIAL then GOTO-RSA1>Tools in Top>Select Attribute Hiearchy Change Run>Select Info Object List>Select 0MATERIAL>Execute.Then message "Attribute/Hierarchy change run scheduled" will appear in the Tab on your User ID.Once its finished your masterdata is activated.
For Activate Master Data we can do another method like "Right click on the particular Infoobject which need to activate and click "Activate Master Data".
The above steps is for manual activation of master data changes..
If you want to automaize the above steps "Need to add Attribute/Hierarchy Change Run" in the process chain.When execution of Processchain it will activate all the master data in the list one by one and also realign the Aggregates which using the master data objects.

Batch inconsistency error & loss of data

Hi All,
Almost all of our SFG and FG materials are batch managed. Suddenly we are facing batch inconsistency error which was not there earlier.
When production order confirmation is being done, batches are created and batch characteristics results are entered. But in many cases these batch values are not being updated in MCH1 table and we are facing batch inconsistency error. For example, during UD in Quality, batch inconsistency error is not allowing to pass the lot.
We are rectifying this using BMCC, but the major issue is that after running the transaction all batch characteristics data are lost. So we have to re-enter the results again.
The frequency of this error is too high now, almost 4/5 times a day. As we are approaching Go-Live very very soon, this has become a critical issue.
Please help with suggestions to rectify the problem.

I usually find inconsistencies to be related to specific characteristics, usually those with procedures or functions attached used to infer values or check values. Are you using characteristics in this way at all on the batch?
Is this a brand new system or are you going live with a new business into an existing SAP system? Is there any chance any of the internal tables used by the batch data have been corrupted somehow? The batch characteristic tables are more complicated than most, using a lot of internal pointers to link tables together. If a conversion program or upload program mucked around directly in any of these tables, that could have caused significant problems in your tables.
I'd look to see first if I could find a commonality among the problem batches. I.e a similar characteristic, or same group of classes involved. Maybe the materials were created and classified on the the same day? Something that would indicate the problem. Computer bugs are never random. They just often appear that way!!!

Debugging CFMAIL attribute / bad address errors

We sent out email blasts by querying the database for a list of addresses and have been getting two errors which seems to kill off the loop we use to call CFMAIL:
"Error","mailWorker-5","11/01/12","10:15:29",,"javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses; nested exception is:
com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPAddressFailedException: 501 5.5.4 Invalid Address "
and
"Error","ajp-bio-8012-exec-251","10/29/12","10:16:31",,"Attribute validation error for tag CFMAIL."
I suspect that both are related to some type of malformed email addresses, but how would i determine which email address? is there a way to determine which attribute caused an error?

It's a shame if one error should kill off the loop. Imagine the error occurring after just 3 sent mails out of a 5000-message job! If throughput is important, then you might want to redesign as follows:
