Extension Manager javascript error 2
I am getting so many errors with DW8 I am not sure what to
do. Everytime I try to open a page, when I try to cut and paste...
Oh my! HELP PLEASE!

Extension Manager javascript error
when I first start dw8 - here is the error I get:
The following javascript error(s) occurred:
at line 56 of file ......dwscriptsExtData.js.
Reference error: dwscripts not defined
also - when I get dw8 up and running and try to open the
extension manager I get this error:
while excutiong onLoad in Manage Extensions.htm, the
following javascript error(s) occurred:
In fil ""Manage Extensions"":
ReferenceError: manageExtensions is not defined
Everything worked before I added two extensions:
Adv_Email_Link.mxp and QuickLink.mxp
I made a mistake with Adv_Email_Link.mxp - it does not work
with dw8. But quick link should.
At this point I have uninstalled them and have restarted dw8
and rebooted twice. Nada!!!

BrookeYour extensions are the culprit .. they probably overwrote
some Dreamweaver
code. Uninstalling them didn't put the code back, most
likely. If the code
overwritten is the copy in the User config folder, then you
can go to
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Application
Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8
and delete the Configuration folder. The next start up of DW8
will put a
new one in there. That will be a default condition config
folder (so make
sure you have your extensions saved somewhere) but is better
than
reinstalling the entire program.
However .. if the code overwritten is in the Program
Files/Macromedia folder
.. you will have to reinstall DW8. And stay away from that
extension in the
future.

Extension Manager CC error code U44M1P34 will not install product
Received update notice and ran the updater for the Extension Manager CC it turned with an error of U44M1P34 and contact support. Which the automated system fails to offer help for the Extension Manager. Signing out of Creative Cloud and relauching fails to clear the problem. All efforts to install the Extension Manager CC end with same error code. No way of finding a solution or contacting support!
I never withdrew any claim or closed any case, yet Adobe Support Staff did in fact close case. Adobe Support would lose connection and failed to reconnect or follow-up, even through contact information was provided. Support Staff closed or withdrew case to cover up their lacking a working solution and the failure in knowledge about Error Codes and their solutions. It seems a general lack of communication within Adobe to insure Support Staff have the correct answers for all Error Codes. Clearly the Code writers a reason for the Error Codes for any given product and a solution for clearing any Error Code, why Adobe Support Staff doesn't have access to this information, so they can address Customer's Problems is anyone's guess! But, clearing a Case before it is solved. Well, that is just sweeping the problem under the rug, in hope it goes away! Adobe Support is a BIG JOKE! Why support a Company that will not Support it's Customer Base?

The issue of Adobe Extension Manager Version 7.0.0.347Withdrawn
The Problem of Adobe Extension Manager CC Version 7.0.0.347 not updating and returning error Code u44m1p34 still exists and hasn't been solved! Adobe Support would perform a few system checks then lose connection and never follow-up or reconnect. Six attempts using Chat and One Calling Adobe Support, still failed to correct the problem. At Adobe Support direction I have rewritten Msconfig and deleted AAMUpdater folder 1.0. Th e end results is update notice disappeared, but Adobe Extension Manager CC Version 7.0.0.347 never updated and still returns error code u44m1p34. What good is contacting Adobe Support if they do not have staff to handle issue or the correct information to solve problems within the program code? I have wasted 2.5 weeks on this issue and have nothing to show for all the work, just ERROR CODE U44M1P34. What a mess this bad code has caused! How long must people wait for a solution or a patch to be released, that addresses this Error Code? At this stage Contacting Adobe Support is a bad joke, it just doesn't exist! Adobe Extension Manager CC isn't even list in Product Support Menus! My information was not only given to each Adobe Support Staff, it is also listed every time, I log onto Adobe.com. I am tired of the guessing by the Adobe Support in Addressing this problem. I do not want a guess, I want a real and solid solution or a patch file. I played Adobe Support game and I am unwilling to do more damage to my computer by deleting files or rewriting the Operating System on some wild goose chase! I have been a Customer since 1980 and I expected a lot more than this from Adobe Support! -
Extension Manager CC error message.
Anyone know why Extension Manager CC v7.3.2.39 is producing the error message "Failed to update database. The extension will not be installed." when trying to install a ZXP with two C++ Plugins defined by a MXI file and signed with a valid cert using the "ZXPSignCmd" tool? All the resources defined in the mxi file are being installed into the InDesign CC 2014; however, the extensions DO NOT show up when I launch ID CC 2014. Below is an excerpt from my "ExManCoreLibrary_.log" file showing the [Error] lines. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Extension Manager Update - error code U43MID207
Hello. I have recently ported my photoshop cs5 Extended X64 (Version 12) from my 64 bit Windows 7 machine to a 64 bit Windows 8,1 machine.
Everything works ok and I have updated all the component programmes except Adobe Extension Manager,
When I try to install the extension manager update I get error code U43MID207.
Can anyone help please?

Thank you in advanceThere is only "Others" listed in the product panel. Apparently Extension Manager CC didn't recognize Photoshop CC was installed in your machine. Have you installed Photoshop CC (If you only have Photoshop CS6, you should use Extension Manager CS6 to install GuideGuide)? If yes, have you moved or renamed the Photoshop CC installation folder? Please search my post about "ExtendScript Toolkit" in this forum, then follow it to check if the product configuration database (PCD) is correct in your machine.

No products in Extension Manager
Hi,
i'm a user of the Adobe Photoshop CS 6 (13.1.2) based on the subscription service in Creative Cloud.
As you can see, my photoshop got the latest updates.
I wanted to install the Adobe Exchange panel and ran into a lot problems. It wasn't possible to install it over the extension manager (manifest error, because my photoshop is too "new").
When i wanted to give up i read on Facebook, that you can install the Panel over the Adobe Application Management.
So i did and was happy it's running finally.
Now when i want to install "Adobe Paper Texture Pro" for example, the panel downloads the file and starts to open the Extension Manager.
(The extension manager is up2date too, no updates available over Appl. Mnmgt).
The Manager opens and tries to install the extension. But then i always (with every extensions tried) got a message, that Photoshop 12.0 or 13.0 or higher is needed to install the extension.
Huh? My photoshop version is the latest version
The extension manager is not showing any products there. I reinstalled the extension Manager manually with the latest version of the adobe page, but this didn't help.
I'm using Windows 7.Have you ever moved or renamed the installation folder of PS and other products? Please run "Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit CS6" from Start Menu, input "BridgeTalk.__diagnostics__;" (Two underscores, not including double quotation mark) in the Source window then click "Debug"->"Run" or press F5. Check output in the Javascript Console window. Check whether "Path" of "photoshop-60.032" or "photoshop-60.064" are consistent with actual installation path.

JanIn this log file I can see you are getting Error : U44M1P7 while updating the software
This Error comes where language packs for software are not installed properly on the machine.
I would suggest to update Adobe Application manager from
Windows : http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773
MAC: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774
then try to install the update if still you are not able to update software and getting same error then uninstall all the Adobe software selecting remove prefernces.
After uninstalling the software run the Adobe Cleaner tool(http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and remove the leftovers.

Extension Manager fails to load (Error reported on DigitalPublishingRelease.mxi_air)
Hi
Adobe CreativeSuite Standard 5.5 has been installed but Extension manager is failing to load or fails whilst loading. Would someone be able to assist?
Below is the end of the log.txt file after the ExManLog.YES file was created.
The log file isn't always created on some machines where the .YES file is setup.
The software is installed on Windows Vista. Some machines have a Core I3 chip.
I have been reading the forum and tried changing the permissions where I can and tried the flash issue. Firefox is not installed.

Is it by "Remote Desktop Control"( mstsc )? There is no difference in running Extension Manager locally or by RDC. However, you have to make sure that you login with the same account. If you still can not launch Extension Manager on your laptop, you can generate log files and paste them here.

Cannot restart after failed Leopard install
