Extension Mobility doesn't work

Hello,
I want to implement Extension Mobility service. I have followed the setup step by step. But when I select my login/logout service, I receive an error "Login Insuccessful" Error: [6].
The IP Phone doesn't prompt me to enter my UserID and PIN.
In the EM Traces I have:
%EMApp-3-UNK:Error while getting dir handle: DirUser.OperationError
%EMApp-3-UNK:Unable to establish dir connection :DirUser.OperationError
For information the CCM are not yet registered to the DNS and I used the LMHOST file.

Its very likely the CCMSysUser user account password has not been updated on Callmanager and AD server and you may be having authentication problems between the ip phones services on Callmanager to Active Directory.

  • Can't view received Yahoo Mail in FF 18 but works in IE - I have no add-ons no extensions also doesn't work in Safemode

    I've tried all the fixes I could find on here and none have worked. I can view emails sent to me in IE but not in FF18. I tried safemode - same issue; I disabled all add-ons, extensions, and appearance - same issue; I restarted computer after each trial - same issue. So any other suggestion?

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":

  • International message to China mobile doesn't work

    I have switched to iphone 4 in July 2010. International message to China mobile had been fine until Oct 2nd. Since Oct 2nd, I can send text message to China Mobile but they only can receive message in English but Chinese. Even worse since today (Oct 11th), they can't receive any messages (neither English nor Chinese). When users send messages to my iphone 4, they always get "We have received testing message" as an automatic reply. I have called couple of friends located in different cities in US. They all have exact same problem. Is this caused by AT&T or by Apple iPhone 4 firmware? Please help!!!!

    Same as mine. I have started to get this problem since from October 1st. The weired thing is that I still can communicate with my friends in Taiwan by texting Chinese message. However, my friends in China can send any message to me but cannot get any Chinese message from me. I made couple of calls to AT&T for check recently and everything with my account is fine. I would like to know what the problem is too.

    Scenario:
    2 Lync 2013 FE pool (no director)
    1 Edge pool
    IIS ARR used for publishing
    autodiscover on HTTP only as there are many SIP domains
    lyncdiscover.domainFQDN is not a CNAMEto webexternal.domainFQDN but a A record
    IIS ARR is configured like this:
    Default Web Site
    lyncdiscover.domainFQDN port 80
    webexternal01.domainFQDN port 443
    webexternal02.domainFQDN port 443
    everything is pretty fine with Windows Phone and IOS; with Android it's OK when using manual configuration whereas it's KO using autodiscover
    we've got CU5 on Lync Server. the login succeeds in a different environment with the same CU5 installed (and same mobile device)
    android is 4.2.2 with the last Lync 2013 mobile app installed
    any hint appreciated :)

    Please try to disable the passive authentication for a registrar and then test again.
    Please also make sure Lync Server and Lync Android client update to the latest version.

  • Extension Mobility not working during fail over

    Hello All
    I am John.   I have a cluster that has 2 subscribers and 1 publisher.  We are running 8.5.1.  Yesterday I had a case where my one subscriber had failed and everything failed over to the other subscriber.  Everything but extension mobility seemed to work.  I checked all my certs, I checked the services, I checked the url for the services.  Everything seemed to check out correctly.  The url is pointed to the publisher and the publisher was available. 
    What i saw during failover:
    When the services button was activated I received the requesting notice.  after a while the message changed to Host not found.  Then the next message was select service. 
    I did a restart on the extension mobility service with no effect.  The other web applications (such as corp directory) all seem to be working correctly.  Extension Mobility is the only service I have running.
    When the failover ended and my lost subscriber was available, extension mobility and the services started working again. 
    Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi John,
    As suggested by iptuser55, switch on the EM service on both the nodes. This is the only way failover would work. There are 2 services in CUCM, Extension Mobility and EMApp. The EMApp runs on all the nodes, and its job is to keep a list of the nodes with the EM service activated. When the top node in that list goes down, the EMApp will then point to the next node in the list, which will act as the Failover.

    I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
    At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
    The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
    I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
    You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

    I installed JDeveloper 11.1.2.4 on my Windows 8 machine and then the ADF Mobile extension. I can open the previewer for ADF Mobile. So there is no problem with this on Windows 8. I used the generic installation, which is that I installed the JDK and then run the Java -jar command for the JDeveloper install.

  • Mobile data doesn't work and I can't access the front camera.

    Hi, I received my new Xperia Z3 Compact in white just over a week ago and unfortunately I have few unresolved issued with it which kind of spoils the experience of owning a new phone.
    I  just switched from a number of Iphones and Xperia was the handset that really impressed me.
    I couldn't see the point of getting an overpriced Iphone with a limited storage capability.
    Unfortunately my Xperia Z3c has some issues;
    - I can't get the front camera work
    - I can get my internet only through Wi-Fi and my unlimited 3G data doesn't work at all (T-Mobile U.K)
    - Three Swipe Gesture doesn’t appear to be working as it should on any Android device (I'm told).
    So I am not a very happy user at the moment and slowly starting to miss the Iphone.

    Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
    Sorry to hear about these issues, I would first suggest clearing the data for the camera.
    Menu > settings > Apps > All > Camera > Clear Data
    Once done try using the device.
    In regards to the Internet, try performing an Internet settings download.
    Menu > Settings > More > Internet Settings > Accept Disclaimer > Choose Network.
    Now try using the network data on the handset.
    Can you explain more about the 3 Finger Gesture issue?

    The new release of Muse didn't seem to fix the problem for me, so I don't think they are addressing it. I was only able to fix the problem by having a developer modify the code to fix the swipe function.Only thing I've seen is this comment from Adobe on July 7th.
    "In the most recent major update of Chrome, Google fundamentally changed how Mobile Chrome supports swipe events. Those changes have broken swipe behaviors on Muse generated websites when viewed in Mobile Chrome. We're aware of the issue and working on changes to Muse code generation to address it as part of a future major update of Muse."

  • Apple mobile service doesn't work

    hi,
    from some reason when I plug my iphone 6 to my computer, I get this message-"Apple mobile device service could not be started because an unknown error occurred (1058)".and then I get a follow up message-"this iphone cannot be used because the apple mobile device service is not started".
    I followed the orders in the website how to start the apple mobile service, but I get this message-"the apple mobile device service on local computer started and then stopped.some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs".
    I tried again and again to start the apple mobile service but it's just stop in the middle and I get this message. I reinstalled itunes twice but it's still doesn't work.
    please help me I'm desperate!

    Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your iPhone not being seen in iTunes because of the Apple Mobile Device not working. When you reinstalled iTunes, did you uninstall iTunes first? Take a look at the article below and uninstall iTunes and its associating software in the order that it lists and then reinstall iTunes. Let me know if this works out for you.

    A Verizon-model iPad can only work on CDMA with Verizon. You cannot use it with any other carrier. Apple, to my knowledge, has not released the iPad in Yemen, so there is no iPad you can use with any carrier there that works only on CDMA. You would need to find a GSM carrier and then get an unlocked GSM iPad.
