Extension mobility not working

Our users with extension mobility their user not displaying on the phone. However CM shows user logedin into the phone. Check all the services running. Need quick answer. It does not show ipcc extension.

It took us 5 hours to figure the issue yesterday that Db replication was malfunctoning. We had a failover last week where some users were not able to login into the phones.but resolved on its own everything worked fine until yesterday. We saw some errors AQM server and restarted the services that took care of our CUCM replication issue. What AQM has to do with it.

Extension Mobility not working during fail over

Hello All
I am John. I have a cluster that has 2 subscribers and 1 publisher. We are running 8.5.1. Yesterday I had a case where my one subscriber had failed and everything failed over to the other subscriber. Everything but extension mobility seemed to work. I checked all my certs, I checked the services, I checked the url for the services. Everything seemed to check out correctly. The url is pointed to the publisher and the publisher was available.
What i saw during failover:
When the services button was activated I received the requesting notice. after a while the message changed to Host not found. Then the next message was select service.
I did a restart on the extension mobility service with no effect. The other web applications (such as corp directory) all seem to be working correctly. Extension Mobility is the only service I have running.
When the failover ended and my lost subscriber was available, extension mobility and the services started working again.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi John,
As suggested by iptuser55, switch on the EM service on both the nodes. This is the only way failover would work. There are 2 services in CUCM, Extension Mobility and EMApp. The EMApp runs on all the nodes, and its job is to keep a list of the nodes with the EM service activated. When the top node in that list goes down, the EMApp will then point to the next node in the list, which will act as the Failover.

Extension Mobility not working properly

Dear All,
I would like to ask about extension mobility on my Cisco Unified Call manager 8.5. The problem is when I press services button then Extension Mobility the put the User ID and Pin, the login was successfull but after that there's no change on IP Phone screen.
After I check on Cisco Unified Call Manager -> Devices -> Phone -> Actively Logged In Device Report I was found that my ID already login on IP Phone, but like I say before there's no change on IP Phone, my Directory Number, Name also not appear.
Did anyone experiencing same issue above? Or anyone know how to fix issue above?
Please let me know, I'm very appreciate to all of you that help and contribute on this discussion

Have you created a Specific Device Profile with your DN and name? You will need to do that, and then you will need to go in to your end user account and make it a controlled profile.
If you do not have a device profile specific for you, you are probably getting the default device profile that doesn't have any DN associated with it.

My extension does not work with firefox 5 and need to be able to download firefox 3.6 or 4. every time try to find it it keeps directing to 5 which does not work with our gaming extensions, the features do now work with f/f5

My friends and I play Kingdom of Camelot, we use the greasemoney extension and various user scripts to play our game, the features in the extension do not work on verison 5 of firefox at this time, and we need to reload either firefox 4 or 3.6 to make them work efficiently.
Every time we go to download version 4, we get redirected to version 5 which we do not want.
I have am Mac laptop and a Windows laptop and would like rectify the problem on my laptops so I can play my game more effectively.

This is the final news I needed to get to complete my answer... I confronted myself the italian store and the US one and in the US one I didn't find this product...
As for the NI software, was so good that I just bought back my good "old" iMac G5 and will exchange it with this my Intel Mac. The G5 2 Ghz was good, performing as this new Intel (at times I even got the impression was more performing, but I believe is just an impression) and surely didn't have so many 3rd parties problems.
Meanwhile I filled every forum of NI and USB with my questions about the compatibility... and maybe I will be back to an Intel Mac when all would be OK, I'm not in a hurry!
By the way I had a listen to your work: GREAT!

We do not often use orchestra if not as here and there (other than in some work as this last one, but is not so frequent). Hope you may like our little works!

JDev 10.1.2 - JUnit Extension Does not work

I followed your advice, downloaded and installed the JUnit component, but the error is still present. Moreover, if i try using the "Check for updates" functionality, I always get:
"Unable to connect to OTN
Details: Connection timeout: connect"

Help - Multiple native extensions do not work

I am now reaching out to the community and any Adobe employees reading this to solve our last remaining major issue/bug with Adobe Air which is holding us back from releasing our title.
Multiple native extensions do not work
We can get any one single native extension to work including Game Center (with the help of MilkManGames). But multiple extensions together simply do not work. We are required by our publisher to have other iOS features included which require the use of multiple native extensions.

1-click weather extension does not work in Firefox 4...

The 1-Click Weather extension does not work in Firefox 4. It comes up with a bunch of Javascript errors.

You'll need a little bit of tweaking on this add-on. Please read this link. It might take a little bit of work, but it does worth it as 1-Click Weather is a far better add-on than any others of the same category:

Extend studio extensions do not work right in DW CC

I have Flexi Layouts Pro 2 and JQuery Media Pack installed within the latest Adobe Extension Manager CC and I cannot edit them or get them to work properly, it's like some of the menus/dialogs are missing or cannot launch. They are licensed products however, it shows a BUY bar on the top of each application bar as if they are trials. The editing function does not work in any of the JQuery Media Pack apps.

I have re-installed the DW CC software and updated the CC Manager
reinstalled the extension and air components
I have reset licenses
Anyone have a solution or have the same problem?
I really need help here --- these apps are not cheap

Seems with CC 2014.1, you must disable (uncheck) "Live View" option. Once I did that, the dialogs worked

Extension Socket not working after Openreach Visit...

Hi folks, first post here.
The master socket in my home is a line box. I have one extension socket wired into it, not plugged. I only use the extension socket as the master socket (which was installed in a previous occupants time) is not conveniently located for my needs. Plugged into the extension socket is a filter for my broadband and telephone, that's it.
This arrangement has been working fine for years now until Tuesday 26th March 2013 when I reported online that I was not getting a dailling tone. Before doing so I established that the problem did not lie in the extension socket by taking off the lower cover of the master socket and plugging my phone in the test socket. The result was the same, no dial tone.
Wednesday morning an openreach engineer called to say that the fault had been outside and was now fixed but he needed to come into to take the call divert off. I had opted for the call divert to my mobile when I reported the fault online. He proceeded to take both the bottom and top cover off the master socket, did something and then put them back together again. He then took my telephone and keyed in a code to take the call divert off and then left saying everything was fine. Later that day I went to make a telephone call and the line was dead, no dialling tone again. So I plugged my phone into the master socket and found that I had a dialling tone there. I rang BT to tell them of my experience and the operative said that because the fault was after the master socket I would liable to a charge of £99 I told told the operative that it was not my fault and that I should not have to pay. I then asked to speak to the engineer and discovered that Openreach were contractors and that it would not be possible as the operative did not have a number for openreach. How absolutely riduculous, can someone advise please? Thanks

sounds like engineer has dislodged one of your extension wires in the master socket. if you take the bottom half of master off and make sure your 2 extension wires which should be connected to the back of the front plate to terminals 2 & 5. just make sure they are connected and tightly secured and extension socket should work

Blendmein extension is not working in photoshop cc 2014

I installed add-ons from adobe add-ons website but add-ons are not visible in windows>extension...

Many Photoshop extensions are not compatible with Photoshop CC 2014 for Adobe removed support for Flash Panels in CC 2014. Many extensions panels are flash based. Check with the developer to see if their blendmein extension works with CC 2014.
Adobe does not maintain Photoshop so it backward compatible with prior versions of Photoshop. This brakes things like action scripts plugins extensions etc. Keep old version of Photoshop installed....

I have the same problem for a couple of months, and I had to use a plug-in in Firefox to print a web page. I really need the web page address in the footer for reference purposes which Chrome print (Ctrl+P) does not produce.
The error message is: A supported version of Acrobat could not be found. Please install or update Acrobat to 11.0.9 or higher."
After updating to Acrobat 11.0.10 and repairing the installation the problem did not go away.
Deleting and re-installing the extension did not help either.

"Show all filename extensions" does not work!

I want to be able to see the file extensions of all my files. I go to Finder->Preferences->Advanced, and then I check the "Show all filename extensions" checkbox, yet it still does not work! I tried rebooting my computer and double checking if that checkbox is still checked, and it is, and it still does not work!
Any help?

Hi,
CS6 doesn't support HTML Panels but Flash ones, this should be the why the Adobe Extension Manager fails.
