Extensions/add ons not appearing in photoshop cc2014
Hi,
I've been downloading add ons/ extensions especially for photoshop and i'm not able to see ANY of them in the window-->extensions submenu.
Does someone have the same problem?
Thanks
Are you sure the extensions you have download are versions for CC 2014. Adobe removed Flash Panel support in CC 2014 many extensions developed for Photoshop CC and prior used Flash Panels they needed to be update to use html panels in CC 2014.

Extensions (Add-ons) shown in Extension manager are not in Photoshop cc 2014
I started with Photoshop cc and downloaded several Add-ons which I used, particularly Adobe Watermark. When Photoshop cc 2014 was released we realised that the majority of these Add-ons would not work in this new edition of Photoshop. Consequently I have to also run Photoshop cc as well to allow me to use these Add-ons.
If I open Adobe Extension Manager, and select under Products I see a list of all the Add-ons that work in Photoshop cc, which is correct. However if I select Photoshop cc 2014 I see a long list ( 16 Add-ons) which have enabled ticked by the side of the name. Only 5 of these actualy show in Photoshop cc 2014, so something is wrong here.
I assume that Adobe Watermark is an Adobe product, so when are Adobe going to sort this out, and the problem in Adobe Extension Manager?Flash based extensions are not supported by PS CC 2014 anymore. Please refer to http://blogs.adobe.com/photoshopdotcom/2014/04/photoshop-spring-cleaning.html, http://blogs.adobe.com/jkost/2014/06/installing-the-2014-release-of-creative-cloud.html
And http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2014/06/2014-release-of-photoshop-cc-faq.html#plugins (scroll down to "Why don’t my 3rd Panels show up in the 2014 release of Photoshop CC? What happened to Oil Paint, Mini-Bridge & Kuler?”)
If some extensions are not supported by PS CC 2014, you have to continue to use them in PS CC until their HTML based counterparts become available. -
After installing FF 5.0 I am receiving a list of incompatible Add-Ons. I go into 'Extensions' and click to remove them, exit FF and lauch FF again, the same incompatible add-ons list appears. Is there a way to permanently remove the old Add-ons?
Thanks but I don't think this will help. Like I said, all of my add-ons were working fine and compatible until after running a previous version of FF. I am sure they are still compatible, but they are not working at all.
I even checked my profile folder and all of the extensions' data is all still there but FF5 is just not reading it correctly. (like adblock plus... I see the folder for it but FF5 doesn't have it on the add-on manager page when I run FF5) -
hi all ...I would like to add a language that is not available in Photoshop cc2014 .. My computer writes it but backwards .. How can I have this issue solves?
What language are you talking about? You might need to enable Edit/Preferences/Type/Middle Eastern and South Asian for proper display.

When "reset" used-are the EXTENSION add-ons saved-not plugins
Started Firefox and a pop up from Mozilla asked if I wanted to speed up starting time because it was slow opening. There was a suggestion to use reset. I already knew that feature was available but I didn't want to set it to "factory settings" when I have very many extension addons, the options are set like I want, and the program runs fine after it starts. I didn't see where "extension add-ons" were kept inside the profile. I want to know if all the EXTENSION ADD_ONS are saved anywhere, or will I have to find and reinstall all of them again??
Did you try the suggestions here?
See this article about information about the Firefox profile folder:
When you reset Firefox then a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, form data) is automatically imported and the current profile folder will be moved to the desktop to an "Old Firefox Data" folder.
Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, prefs) that you have made are lost and need to be redone.
It is possible to recover data from the old profile, but be cautious to avoid carrying over problems.

My add-ons still appear to be installed and working, but I can't install more, or uninstall, or configure them.
Try forcing Firefox to rebuild the list of installed add-ons.
# Open the profile folder, for details of how to access it see the profiles article.
# Close Firefox, then delete extensions.sqlite (you can also delete extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.rdf if they exist)
When you restart Firefox the list of installed add-ons should be rebuilt.
If that did not work, you may have an add-on that is causing the problem, try the options in the troubleshooting extensions and themes article.
If you type about:addons into the location bar does that bring up the list of add-ons? I have seen a blank add-ons list if Mr Tech Toolkit add-on is installed, accessing the add-ons manager by typing about:addons in the location bar is a workaround with that add-on installed. The author of that add-on is working on an update. -
FireFox 3.6.9 Add-ons window not working, add-ons not loading
After upgrade add-ons do not load.
In Add-ons window, no data; all add-ons disappeared;.
Also clicking < Browse all Add-ons > produces nothing, does not link to site.
Navigate toa site to download an add-on: Add-ons window appears but no data or appearance of files or anything. So< Install> button therefore does nothing. You can delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required.
See "Corrupt extension files": http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions
If you see disabled extensions that are not compatible on the next start in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button to do a compatibility check. -

Extension not appearing in Photoshop CS5
Hi,
I'm not being able to get my simple extension to show up on the window\extensions menu in photoshop CS5.
I'm using Flash Builder 4 CS5, with the CS SDK 1.5, without Extension Builder.
I've tried everything.
The extension runs ok inside Flash Builder when I try to debug with AIR debugger without photoshop.
In the main xml file, I only included a simple function, and have managed to get all the importing right (auto-complete works on the document objects)
I have gone through everything that needed to be done to compile the extension, and it is being loaded ok in the extension manager.
I am using a certificate I created with ADT, according to the documentation:
java -jar ucf.jar -package -storetype PKCS12 -keystore newcert.p12 -storepass 39#wnetx3tl com.example.helloworld.zxp -C "tt" .
(having all files from the output folder copied to a local folder named "tt")
I did all the builer-plate manifest file definition, by the book.
I used the Flex 3.4 SDK libraries, as described in the tutorial.
All can be seen in the attachement.
Here is my main xml file:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

Debug mode didn't work for me for some reason:
I added the registry debug flag (windows 7 64bit) in both the user-key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXSPreferences\PlayerDebugMode REG_SZ 1
And the local-machine key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Adobe\CSXSPreferences\PlayerDebugMode REG_SZ 1
I tried puting the output files both in the common files folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CS5ServiceManager\extensions\
And the user folder:
C:\Users\arnon\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CS5ServiceManager\extensions\
Tried debugging both using the AIR debugger and the Web one...
Nothing...
I tried updating the AIR2.0 SDK, as described by overriding the files, both in the Flash CS subfolder, and the CS SDK subfolder, as described.
I tried updating both flash CS and Flash Builder 4 CS5 to their latest patch.
I'm all out of ideas...
Please HELP!10x,
You saved my ***!
It actually has to include both the PHSP "AND" the PHXS host names for it to work - this is stupid!
If I only use PHXS the extension manager is not able to install the extension, saying it cannot find a host that matches the manifest (even though my photoshop IS the extended variation, so in a sense it's more acurate manifest-wise), and if I only use the PHSP, it IS loaded but doesn't appear in the application!
AND THERE IS NO DOCUMENTATION ON THIS PHENOMENON ANYWHERE!
THIS IS BEYOND IRRESPONSIBLE!
Thank you very much david, but please, as you are an adobe employee, get this message to the right people, if you can.
I know the corporate agenda would probabely be the incentivise people to register to the 1500$ program to get the extension-builder, by keeping the alternative inconvenient, but this issue is beyond inconvenient, it's border-line cruelty! -

It looks like I'm not the only one having this problem so I hope I included enough information for you.
My Mac machine has the office CS5 suite, but I've brought my personal license along so I can use the latest software and my extensions.
If you need any more information please ask.
Thanks. -
Recently (last 4-5 days my add-ons stopped working properly. Example: Tab Mix Plus shows as installed, but when any options I select do not affect tab behavior; Lastpass icon not showing up in the Add-on bar as it did previously; Newsfox icon doesn't appear in Toolbar as it did. Using Firefox 26.0 on Windows 8 on Dell Laptop.
I've been having problems with my add-ons. Ad Block Plus will often hang Firefox and drive the CPU to 100%. I've reset Firefox and installed ABP, but still have the problem. My other extension have also stopped working. Any new extensions will appear to added on to Firefox, but they also don't work. I've followed all on-line trouble shooting options.

I have just been upgraded on FF, and my ad-ons have disappeared. I've gone to settings and they are still installed and the boxes ticked. I've refreshed firefox. I've closed and opened....they STILL do not appear! I only get add Moz support and change settings.
I use these regularly, and feel like in the night someone has accessed my personal laptop and deleted files!
Please correct immediatey or tell me how to revert back to previous. If you want to restore the previously used standalone window to manage search engines then you can toggle this pref to false with a middle-click on the about:config page.
about:config page: browser.search.showOneOffButtons = false
You need to close and restart Firefox to make this work properly.
In the address bar, type about:preferences#search<enter>
If you miss being able to switch search engines without going
crazy with menus, try this out;
Context Search {web link}
Expands the context menu's 'Search for' item into a list of
installed search engines, allowing you to choose the engine
you want to use for each search. -
Your window below with pluginfo does not much my list of add-ons. I have only one: forecastfox (weather for Germany). I have not been able to see a firefox toolbar, even though I have add-on toolbar enabled. I hve tried adding other add-ons, they don't appear in any toolbar eithereither.
The avg toolbar refuses to display my choice of weather. I have de-installed their one, which does not allow a wide range of cities, and reinstalled mine, which has adjacent city choices, all to no availa.
Is the problem Firefox 5.0.1. , avg 2011 orFirefox 4.0 and 4.0.1 are not secure and are no longer supported - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Hello,
I have updated Firefox and have 4.0 but I can't seem to add any add-ons. No matter what I try I get the :
connection faliure with mozilla add ons error message.
I am on a Mac version 10.5.8
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 DuoYou have or had an extension installed (MegaUpload toolbar) that has changed the user agent from Firefox/3.6.12 to Firefox/2.0.0.13
You can check the general.useragent prefs on the about:config page:
* general.useragent.extra.firefox Firefox/2.0.0.13 MEGAUPLOAD 1.0
You can open the about:config page via the location bar, just like you open a website.<br />
Filter: general.useragent<br />
If general.useragent prefs are bold (user set) then you can right-click that pref and choose Reset.

Your above posted system details show multiple Java Console extensions.<br />
You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions and disable the Java Quick Starter extension, you do not need them to run Java applets.
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Java#Multiple_Java_Console_extensions
See also http://www.java.com/en/download/help/quickstarter.xml - What is Java Quick Starter (JQS)? What is the benefit of running JQS? - 6.0
Disable the Java Quick Starter extension: Tools -> Addons -> Extensions
Control Panel -> Java -> Advanced tab -> Miscellaneous -> Java Quick Starter (disable)
You should update the Java plugin (Java Plug-in 1.6.0_12) to the latest version (6 U22).

Why si firefox so quick to updatewand make many of my add ons not work
every time firefox has an update different add ons do not work after the update.i use my computer and add ons for about 6 hours per day. the add ons are ESSENTIAL. i am sick and tired of updating then having to go back to a previous version. i used to love firefox now i am beginning to hate it almost as much as chrome and IE
I can understand your frustration. The reason for compatibility checks and the resulting deactivation of your add-ons, however, is the concern for your own safety and robustness of your environment (... you may have had some bad experience in this regard yourself, for instance with Flash crashing now and then).
Go to the page Tools > Add-ons and click "Extensions" to open the page with currently installed add-ons. There, you can reactivate disabled add-ons or - what's better in any case - look for updates and/or more recents replacements of your older add-ons.

Can I delete the original photos that my "non-destrucive" edits were made upon?
