Extensions not showing in photoshop (2014)

I have installed Photoshop cc(2014), but 'extensions' is blanked out. Still working in cc and all of my addons are visible in extension manager cc. How do I get it to work?.
My next question is about Bridge. In Bridge I have the option on right clicking an image to open it with photoshop cc or photoshop cc(2014). How do I make photoshop cc(2014) the default? Do I have to manually change all the file associations in preferences?

Have tried to uninstall and reinstall InDesign CC 2014.
There is only CC 2014 version of the applications installed.

Is Extensions available as a menu item under Edit > Menus...
If it is, is it marked as visible?
If it is not, uninstall, run the cleaner tool (CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 ) and reinstall.

User Extension not showing in Corporate Directory on

I have a User whose name shows in the Corporate Directory, however his Extension not showing in Corporate Directory and unlike all other users who have a telephone Icon next to their name, his just has like a keypad icon.
Where do I start to troubleshoot this?

When I view the "End User" under User Management that User has no Phone listed for that users. I tried to find a way to manually change it, but I don't think I can because we are set to sync with AD.
So I'm thinking that the error may be in AD? What do you think?

Windows Fonts not showing in PhotoShop CS6

Newly built Windows 7 Machine, installed the fonts and they show in all office Apps but not showing in Photoshop CS6, can you tell me how to get them to appear?

Photoshop lists all fonts that are present in 'Fonts' folder in Windows.
If PS is not listing some fonts:
Either those fonts are not located in 'Fonts' folders (Windows keeps it in a secret statsh as they're proprietary to Windows 7)
One or more of those fonts are corrupt. Adobe doesn't list corrupt fonts. In fact, often times Photoshop hangs when you have one or more corrupt/ invalid font registries on your system. Scan for corrupt fonts and remove them
Can you post the 'fonts' that are 'missing', so we can see if they have any associated known issues with Photoshop?

The naming convention can be misleading.
People use CC when they mean CC 2014. aka v. 14 and v. 15 respectively.
But Adobe is labeling their products as suite groups. CS 6, CC, CC 2014.

ZOPSignCmd Extensions Not Loading In Photoshop CC 2014 Windows

I have an unexpected problem. I have been redeploying my Configurator extensions into HTML5 extensions for Photoshop CC 2014.
I have two extensions that are packaged together using Davide Barranca's excellent tutorial on how to package extensions (http://www.davidebarranca.com/2014/05/html-panels-tips-10-packaging-zxp-installers/).
If I install the two extensions separately, they both install into Photoshop. If I package the extensions together in a ZXP file, Extension Manager CC shows that they have been installed, but when I open Photoshop CC 2014, Extensions is grayed out (this is on Windows 7). When I take the same extension package and try to install on a Mac into Photoshop CC 2014, they install fine.
What is strange about the above is two weeks ago I was doing the same thing and the packaged ZXP file installed fine into Windows 7 Photoshop CC 2014 (I have made some changes to the extensions and this is why I am re-testing them).
The only change that has occurred between the two versions is some re-editing of the postscripts.jsx file. Everything else is the same including the MXI file.
I am not a Windows person, so I am at a complete loss as to why something worked and now is not working.
If anyone can give me some insight into what is happening I would be eternally grateful.

In the Windows 7 computer I just have Photoshop CC 2014 no Photoshop CC.
I tried this below and it did not install the two extension even though the Extension Manager CC said they were installed.

Photoshop CC 2014.1 not Showing Update for 2014.2

My Photoshop cc 2014.1 is not showing the update for 2014.2. I have 2 computers and one updated and the other isn't showing the .2 update. They both are using Windows 8.1. I was online with customer service earlier and they weren't able to provide an answer yet. I had to leave for work so customer service is to get back with me. In the mean time I'm trying to see any answers out there. I uninstalled the creative cloud desktop app earlier since I did have problems when it just hung on the update for the creative cloud desktop app. I deleted some folders that the customer service rep stated and reinstalled and I was able to reinstall the CC desktop app. I have tried do the update through Photoshop and the application manager also says it's up-to-date. I did check the version just to ensure that it didn't update but it is 2014.1
Why is it this computer doesn't see the .2 update?

User cleaner to Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 and clean, Adobe Application Manager and Creative Cloud.
Install Creative cloud from : Free Creative Cloud | Download Adobe Creative Cloud free trial
If problem persists, create another user account and check if the problem persists.

IPTC Extension/Location does not show in photoshop on export

I am exporting photos with "All" metadata selected and "remove location information" is unchecked. When I open in Photoshop and go to file info, IPTC Extension page is blank. No info under Sublocation, City, Province, etc. I have tried a new metedata template with all checked but to no avail. If I re-import photos into another catalog, the location information is there. Just doesn't show in Photoshop.

I resolved the problem. It was somehow related to my using Microsoft
theme pictures. I set Windows to use the basic theme and the problem
went away. Thank you for the suggestions.

How do I get Extensions to Show in PSCC 2014?

Almost none of my Extensions show in PSCC 2014. They show as installed and enabled for PSCC 2014 in my Extension Manager. I have Uninstalled and Reinstalled everything, including PSCC 2014, my Extension Manager, Creative Cloud and my Extensions. When I go to Adobe Photoshop CC 2014>Plug-ins>Panels, they all show up in a Folder in Panels. However nothing will get them to show in PSCC 2014 itself. What do I do? (PS - Chat Tech Help did nothing to help me. In fact they created problems and left me to solve them on my own. They said, Call in Monday.)

If some extensions are not supported by PS CC 2014, you have to continue to use them in PS CC until their HTML based counterparts become available.

Extensions not showing under window pull down manu

I can see extensions in photoshop cc 2014, but extensions is not showing up in Illustrator cc 2014.

Today I fired up the illustrator CC 2014 after 2 weeks didn't touch it, I can see the extension. Do not know why it is working now. I will do some more test on the extension.

Extensions not working in CC 2014

I have just installed DW CC 2014 which is so far a disaster. I opened a site in the old CC version created and saved a page and then attempted to insert a P7 photo gallery. The P7 extensions are showing up in the old DW CC menu, but will not insert with a click like they normally do.
Then I open the file in the new CC2014 and no extensions show up. So I go to the extension manager and see that all of my extensions are installed in the old version and one (not the one I need). So I attempt to install the extension I need and get the following error message: "The extension your are about to install conflicts with the following extensions. Do you want to remove the follwoing extensions and continue installation: The extension 'PVII Image Gallery Magic 2I installed in the product Dreamweaver CC, Dreamweaver CC 2014
I click yes and you guessed it, here comes he next error message: Failed to parse XML file: 'C\Users\Joe Dempsey\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\DreamweaverCC\en_US\Configuration\objects\insertbar.xml. The extension will not be installed.
If I attempt to remove the extension from old CC I get approximately the same messaage but it tells me it cannot remove it.
I'm not certain what I am missing here, but I have a client who expects his photo gallery in the morning and I am at this point: I cannot use the old program to insert the gallery. I cannot use the new program to insert the gallery. Everything worked fine before the installation.
Does anyone have any ideas on what to do / or alternatively, the DWCC 2014 product manager's personal cell number?

I also had problems with my extensions.
I followed the following steps.
1. Closed Dreamweaver
2. Updated Extension Manager CC using the Creative Cloud desktop app.
3. Renamed C\Users\Joe Dempsey\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\DreamweaverCC\en_US\Configuration to C\Users\Joe Dempsey\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\DreamweaverCC\en_US\Configuration-backup
4.Deleted and re-installed the extensions using the Extension Manager.
5. Started Dreamweaver.
There may be a more efficient method; the above worked for me.

The default Kuler extensions is there and active but manually installed extensions aren't.

Why does an installed extension not show up in my PS CC Extensions?

The Adobe Watercolour Assistant extension show up in my Extension Manager CC as being installed for Photoshop CC. However the extension does not show up in my Extensions in Photoshop CC. And it does not appear anywhere in my Adobe Exchange Panel. When I do a search inside of Adobe Exchange, I get the message, "No products found." What's going on, and how do I get the extension to show up inside of Photoshop?

Extension not appearing in Photoshop CS5

I'm not being able to get my simple extension to show up on the window\extensions menu in photoshop CS5.
I'm using Flash Builder 4 CS5, with the CS SDK 1.5, without Extension Builder.
I've tried everything.
The extension runs ok inside Flash Builder when I try to debug with AIR debugger without photoshop.
In the main xml file, I only included a simple function, and have managed to get all the importing right (auto-complete works on the document objects)
I have gone through everything that needed to be done to compile the extension, and it is being loaded ok in the extension manager.
I am using a certificate I created with ADT, according to the documentation:

Debug mode didn't work for me for some reason:
I added the registry debug flag (windows 7 64bit) in both the user-key:

I'm all out of ideas...

It actually has to include both the PHSP "AND" the PHXS host names for it to work - this is stupid!
If I only use PHXS the extension manager is not able to install the extension, saying it cannot find a host that matches the manifest (even though my photoshop IS the extended variation, so in a sense it's more acurate manifest-wise), and if I only use the PHSP, it IS loaded but doesn't appear in the application!
AND THERE IS NO DOCUMENTATION ON THIS PHENOMENON ANYWHERE!
THIS IS BEYOND IRRESPONSIBLE!
Thank you very much david, but please, as you are an adobe employee, get this message to the right people, if you can.
I know the corporate agenda would probabely be the incentivise people to register to the 1500$ program to get the extension-builder, by keeping the alternative inconvenient, but this issue is beyond inconvenient, it's border-line cruelty!
