Extensions not staying enabled in FF10!

Started having issues today after installing FF10 with extension not staying enabled and also with Personas not staying either.
Anyone else having this issue?

Create a New Profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

IF that New Profile works then you can recover your History, Bookmarks and Passwords from the Old Profile.

Extensions do not stay Enabled

Hi
Extensions do not stay enabled when shut down and restart DW CS4, I can enable the extensions and use them while in DW CS4. But these do not stay enable.
No pre-existing software, new PC, Vista 64bit.
Tried running both applications as administrator to set Extensions, and Disabled all running programs, which did not resolve the issue.
This is annoying, as thes extensions work in CS4 ( Project Seven extensions, pop magic menu, Image gallery), I have tried others extensions from Adobe with same results.

I tried a reinstall but had the same issue, so I disabled User Account controll did a reinstall now it is working OK.

Firefox 11.0 Personas are not staying enabled after restart of FF11

After updating Firefox 10.0.2 to FF 11.0, both of my PC's personas that I have will not stay enabled after restarting FF 11.0. I have tried different personas on each PC and they also will not stay enabled after a restart of the browser. FYI, I am still using the same extensions that I had used in FF 10.0.2 and there all up to date in FF 11.0, it's just this persona issue that bug me big time.
I've tried all the Knowledge Base help suggestions, but none have worked.
Any one else having this issue? Any on have a fix that worked?

The installed personas and the currently selected persona is saved as a pref in the prefs.js file in the Firefox Profile Folder, so there may be a problem with that file.

Creatve IR remote will not stay enabled (RM1500) SB audig

@ Ok, 2.5 years later but here's the solution: in C:\Program Files (x86)\Creative\Shared Files\Module Loader\RC System there's a file called RCSystem.CFG
You can set default options here. You need to set:
RunAtStartUp=
SupportWinApp=
And there you go, it's enabled by default!

Master Data Services Add-in will not stay enabled

Using Excel 2013 x64 with the 2012 MDS add-in.
The master data services add-in works but when I shut down Excel, the add-in is soft disabled and I have to re-enable it every time I start Excel. I've tried disabling everything and then just enable MDS and that doesn't help.
How can I troubleshoot this? I can't roll out 2013 to my users if this problem persists.

I have finally found a solution for this problem! Every time I opened Excel (unless I ran as administrator) I would have to activate the MDS add-in; this was time-consuming and annoying. It seems like there was no solution posted online anywhere! Well
after much aggravation, I have finally found a solution:
Fixing the Microsoft MDS Excel Add-In so it Stays Enabled
Press the Start button (Windows button)
In the search bar type “REGEDIT”
Open regedit.exe
A pop-up will ask permission for the Registry Editor to make changes to the computer, select Yes.
In the Registry Editor expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER
In the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder, expand in the following order: Software -> Microsoft -> Office -> Excel -> Addins
Select Microsoft.MasterDataServices.ExcelAddIn
Double-click on LoadBehavior in the right panel
In the Edit Value popup, change the value to
Press OK
Exit the Registry Editor
The excel add-in should now be active anytime you open Excel. If multiple errors occur while using the add-in, the Load Behavior may change back to 0. If that occurs simply follow these steps so the add-in will be active when Excel starts up.
I hope this helps some of you avoid the long hours of trying to find a solution to this silly problem.

Outlook 2013 add-in will not stay enabled

Everytime Outlook 2013 (windows) closes the add-in for iCloud changes to disabled. The only way I can sync calendars etc, is to manually enable the iCloud Add-in EVERY TIME I open Outlook. What's up with that? It used to work perfectly. I have been through all the help screens and nothing works.

If you are using Windows 8.1, then check out the article below to resolve the issue of iCloud becoming disable within Outlook.

Acrobat and Shockwave will not stay enabled.

Each time I boot up my pc, I have to enable Acrobat and Shockwave. Uninstalling and reinstalling these programs does not fix the problem. I run Windows 7 and IE 10.

Other add-ons remain enabled?
After you enable them, then restart IE10, do they remain enabled?
You do not accidentally start IE with no add-ons? (Just checking possibilities; something is disabling these add-ons.)

Why does Spell Check not stay enabled, how do I fix it?

Every time Firefox closed, the spell check does the same thing? I want to enable it, and for it to stabilize with Firefox, and other software that it has worked with in the past.

Upgraded to latest Firefox version and ZOOM will not stay enabled on my Win 7 64 home.

After I upgraded to the latest version of Firefox on my PC, I could no longer view the small type on the pages (i.e. my Verizon General Message Email Account). I had to constantly use the ZOOM feature to bring up the size of the printed page and there was no way that I could "save" teh optimum viewing size (like I enjoyed previously). When I exited a page (i.e. INBOX) and returned, it defaulted to a very small type.
I tried to sue the RESTORE feature, but that did not help. I would exit the Browser and return, to no avail. The print size was always too small to view. Even here I have to ZOOM in order to see what I have typed.

Extensions.checkCompatibility.17.0 does not stay in false position

After updating from 16 to 17 some of the extensions that are crucial for me stopped working, got disabled and got listed as incompatible with 17.0. Now when I try to toggle the extensions.checkCompatibility.17.0 boolean into the “false” position, it readjusts itself into “true” after each restart, making it impossible to force those extensions as compatible.
Why is this happening and what can I do to make it stay at “false”?

edit: now extensions.checkUpdateSecurity stays true but I can’t find how to access the “make compatible” option. Nightly tester tools does not seem to provide it.
edit: nvm, issue solved by downgrading.

Enable Extensions not showing in "Extensions" pane

After disabling extensions in the Safari/Preferences/Extensions panes there no longer is any content on the "Extensions" pane. Trying to install an extension brings up a message stating:
"Safari can’t install this extension because Extensions are disabled. Extensions can be enabled in Safari’s Extensions preferences".
This cannot be done as there is no longer any content in Safari's Extensions pane.
Can anyone please advise on how the Enable switch can be reinstalled on the Extensions pane. Thanks.

Although possibly not related to your problem, I will remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. Furthermore, it has known bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and usability. As for your issue, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

IOS 8 rearrange activities not staying put

When I rearrange the Activities order on the iPhone 6, they don't stay in the same order after I quit app. This happens in every app (Safari, Photos, etc).

Okay my IT Director and I had the same problem, On your DC go to AD-Users and Computers, go to the properties of the name, in the security tab click on advance button on the bottom. In advance the button on the bottom should say disable inheritance. If it says enable inheritance, then click on enable. Once I did this all my exchange emails came pouring in. Hope this helps anybody. Problem solved
