Extenstion Manager CC not recognizing other CC apps

I bought a paid extension and can't get it to install because Extension Manager doesnt 'see' any of my installed CC apps. In the Products sidebar, i just see 'Others'. I have the full CC suite installed. How do i address this? I just uninstalled/reinstalled Ext Manager and nothing changed. Version is 7.0.0.347

Ipad not recognized by itunes; apps shut off on ipad as soon as I open them

My ipad is not recognized in iTunes, when plugged into my computer. I can't back up or sync to my computer, but I have managed to back up to icloud, I think. Applications shut off within 20 seconds of opening them on my ipad. I think I need to reset my ipad but I'm just not getting that option when I plug it in to my computer and I'm worried about whether or not the icloud backup is sufficient. Thanks!

Try some basic troubleshooting before you restore your iPad.
First close all apps. In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that didn't help, try this. Reset all settings. You will not lose any data, but most of the device settings will have to be entered in the settings app again. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings.
IF you really feel that you need to restore, and maybe you will have to, try this for help with the device not being seen by iTunes.

My iTunes ID is not recognized by the App Store after downloading Yosemite

My iTunes ID is not a mac.com id but a hotmail.com id. That is how I have been buying music. Now I need to download updates for the new Yosemite software and the App store is not recognizing my hotmail.com id. How do I clear this up?

I have the same problem on my iMac. I was able to download and install OS X 10.10 Yosemite on my macbook pro retina. i went to my iMac and when I enter my Apple ID and Password (which is correct), it says "Your device or computer could not be verified. Contact support for assistance". It won't let me download Yosemite. FWIW, I can start up iTunes and log in with my Apple ID and Password without any problem.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

New Nano not Recognized, other iPods work fine

Just got a new Nano. Most recent version of iTunes and the old Mini and 1st generation iPod work fine. The Nano is not recognized by iTunes or Windows. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.

You really didn't need to repost the same issue. It sometimes takes awhile for anyone to provide any attempted solutions but eventually someone will respond. My Ipod Touch when I try to connect to ANY computer with ANY USB cable I get "USB Not Recognized" Other Ipod devices work with ALL computers and ALL USB cables PLEASE HELP!!!

I am using an IPod Touch 3. I get the error message USB Not Recognized. Now I have tried three different USB Cables and three different computers...... Same error message. My daughters IPod Touch 4 works perfectly with all of those USB Cables and computers, so this is not a USB problem or a computer problem. It must be something with my IPod Touch 3. Every article I go to wants me to look at stuff on the computer but how could that make sense if other IPod Devices work fine? Please. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You need to provide more information about your network. What frequency does it use (2.4ghz or 5.0ghz), which wireless protocol (a, b, g, b/g compatibility, n), and what security are you using (WEP, WPA2, etc.)?
Please also provide more information about your iPod Touch. Which model is it, and which version of the iOS are you running on it?

My installed iWork '09 not recognized by Mac App Store

I'm hoping to receive the free iWork upgrade. I have iWork '09 installed from DVD's. The Mac App store does not recognize them. Is there a fix?

After hours of searching and testing many solutions people said to work for them to update (but didn't work for me), I managed to get all iWork apps in the app store and to update for free with these steps:
1. Install iWork'09 from CD/DVD if you don't have iWork installed
2. Update iWork'09 to version 9.3 manually (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1563)
3. Change your system language to english in system preferences -> languages
4. Reboot and log in to guest account
5. Open the Mac App Store and log in
6. At this point you should be able to update directly from the featured page (or the app pages)
7. Install all updates, reboot and log in to your normal user account and change the language back to whatever you like
Your iWork apps should show in the list of your buyed apps

Extension Manager is not recognizing that I have Photshop CS5 Installed.

Thus I can not install any extensions for Photoahop and this is a problem. I have the CS5 Master Collection installed and the Extension Manager recognizes all of the other apps, just not the one I currently need. I have already checked the XManConfig.xml file and it is there and appears glitch free. I have already invested a significant amount of time into fixing this problem yethave made little progress. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im running it on 64 bit Windows 7, The Mastercollection is installed as 32 bit, but oddly enough the version of Photoshop I use most is 64 bit. Though I do have a 32 bit installed as well. And The extension manager works for the rest of the suite, and it opens without any warning notifications. The 64 and 32 bit versiond of PS were installed pretty much simultaneously. (2 min of difference)

Device Manager is not recognizing my robotic library

Win2k8 R2 server operating system with Adaptec 29320LPE SCSI adapter in a PCIe slot. Attached to Adaptec is a Quantum Superloader 3 robotic tape library. LUNS support is enabled in the Adapted BIOS. During POST Adaptec card shows two devices found: Quantum
DLT4 and the LUN1 tape library.
Device Manager only recognizes a single Tape Device: Quantum DLT 4. No "Medium Changer" device or "Robotic Library" device shows in Device Manager.
The Quantum Superloader works fine with my older Win2k3 Server. That server is using a PCI 64bit Adaptec card for the Superloader 3.
I could use some assistance on how to resolve this issue.

As for this issue, you should check with the hardware vendor for the appropriate documentation for the device
and verify with hardware vendor whether it is compatible with windows server2008R2.
If it’s compatible with windows server2008R2, you should have appropriate driver software.

Extension Manager does not allow install of app.

EX Mgr. will not install application of zxp file. Says I do not have appropriate permissions to do so. Says to contact Admin. I am sole user.
I wanted to change the file extension from zxp to zip to manually install in CS5, but I don't know where to begin. File downloaded from net with EX Mgr. icon already set up and goes directly there when I click on it.

CS3 is version 9 of Dreamweaver, and CS4 is version 10. If you are trying to install an extension and Extension Manager says that you need at least version 10, then that could be the reason (although I thought the messages were tied to CS4 rather than 10, but I may be mistaken).
If that isn't the case, and you please describe the exact steps you're taking and the exact error message you're getting at what point in the interaction with Extension manager.

Migration Assistant not recognizing other Mac via FireWire

I am trying to transfer files from my G4 Mirror Doors Power Mac to my new Intel iMac via the instructions that come up on the new iMac. I am running the latest version of 10.4 on the G4.
I have the two machines connected via FireWire. I restarted the G4 holding the "T" key down and sure enough, the floating "FireWire" icon comes up but shortly after that, the new iMac says, "There are no versions of OS X on the older machine" which is obviously not true.
I tried the Ethernet route and loaded the Install Disk from the iMac into the G4 as instructed but that disk did not recognize either of my 2 internal drives as valid for installation.
Any suggestions?

FWIW, I have had no problems using Migration Assistant or understanding its prompts, at least when using the version included in the recent Migration and DVD and CD Sharing Update. In this version or later, every option has both a title & descriptive info below it & there are no places I can see in which everything is called a document. You may want to check your MA version number & make sure it is version 1.2.3 or later, as described in About the Migration and DVD/CD Sharing Update. This may help avoid any confusion you have had.
However, keep in mind that MA is designed to migrate files from one backup or startup disk at a time. It will transfer items from one home folder on a connected drive to the corresponding one on the new drive but these items must be enclosed in a home folder (in /Users/) on that drive. If you have elected to store these items on a non-startup drive lacking that hierarchy, you must import them using some other method & decide where to put them on the new drive. MA cannot make that decision for you.
Moreover, if you tell MA to import only your "Documents" folder, it will not import such items as your Movies, Music, Pictures, or other home folders, so for example your ~/Pictures/iPhoto Library file will not be imported, nor will be your ~/Music/iTunes folder (which contains your iTunes database files, even if the iTunes Music folder containing all your music files is stored elsewhere).
Without knowing exactly how you have 'piecemealed' other files & folders into your new drive, I do not know what to tell you to do to best complete the migration process. If you can supply more info about that, & about where exactly the original files & folders are stored on the older Mac, perhaps I or someone else can give you more useful info about doing that.

System::Management::Automation not recognized in cpp code

I need to call powershell cmdlets from cpp code. The cmdlets which will operate the vm's from the hyper-v.
I found that to run the powershell cmdlets, will have to create powershell object and then could invoke the scripts I need to.
But code fails at the line..
using namespace System::Management::Automation;
I am using a makefile to build my project.
What libs, and dll's I need to add so the project will be able to recognize this namespace.

Nice to see a service like this . . . at least for me to vent . . .
My built-in camera is not working for any application (PhoneBooth, Skype, iChat) and I've perused the troubleshooting forums for the past hour or so. Tried 1) checking USB in System Profiler 2) zapping PRAM 3) resetting SMC, to no avail. Is it worth looking at the software (i.e. updates, re-installs, etc), or should I just call my Apple store in town tomorrow? Any estimates on cost to fix these built-in cameras? I might just buy and install an external camera if it's too much money to fix the built-in one. Thanks for any and all responses.

Use Apple's http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090 suggestions to troubleshoot and perhaps fix your iSight. If you cannot make iSight work using the other suggestions there, contact Apple or your Apple-Authorized Service Provider for professional help.
Your Apple-Authorized Service Provider can answer your other questions. If your think that cost might be a significant concern, explain that to your AASP at the beginning of your conversation. If an estimating charge is necessary for your problem, the AASP can tell you how much it will be.
After evaluating your problem, your AASP can give you his best estimate and likely provide a maximum expected amount for any needed service. You can then decide whether repairs are economically feasible before the work is actually started.
If the cost is too great and you do not intend to trade Macs, an external camera such as a Mac-compatible, Firewire-connected, camcorder or one of the webcams suggested here are possible alternatives:

Exchange delegate acceptance not recognized by calendar app

If my delegate on the exchange server accepts a meeting request on my behalf the appointment is marked as accepted in exchange. However, the iPhone calendar does not show it as accepted. There is apparently no way to know whether an appointment has accepted by an admin assistant on the iPhone.
If I accept the appointment on the iPhone it properly classifies it as accepted on both the iPhone and on exchange/outlook (and changes the color).

I have had this problem for a long time, well over a year. I have searched many forums for a solution. I find many similar complaints (along with various other errors that also plague me). Various solutions are provided (delete the account and re-enable, all the way to a fresh install of Mac OS X) but none are more than temporary. Apple has not addressed this. What is more, when this error comes up, iCal can stop synching with the server, which has several times left me with missed appointments. I wish I didn't hate Outlook even more. Does anyone know of a good calendar program that works the Mac and works properly with an Exchange server?

S510p bluetooth not recognizing other devices

hiii....my lenovo s510p is unable to recognize other bluetooth deices for sending or recieving files
I tried reinstalling bluetooth drivers from lenovo website but this problem is not solved.
PLZZ try to help me.......

According to the spec above, that model does not have Bluetooth hardware. So there's nothing to connect with.
