External Battery Power Pack for iPad

Hi,
Can anyone please recomment an external battery power pack for the iPad.
I would like at least 11000 mAh.
I bought the mophie juice from Apple but didn't find it did the job.  Was not big enough.
Would love a recommendation.  Thanks.

I have one of the RAVPower 10400mAh. It works great. It's cheaper than the mophie.

I do not take Intergrative Nutrition, but I have some advice for choosing your device.  Your choice of device should be based upon what you will use your device for currently and in the future.
If you are just using your device to use the internet and do light activities (smal typing, etc.) then the MacBook Air is a better choice.  You should note that the Air has no Superdrive(for your DVD's CD's etc.) so you will have to put out more money to get one.  It can also be slow because of the Flash Memory.
If you are going to be doing more "heavy" computing (photo editing, sound editing, lots of multitasking, large file sizes etc) then I would suggest getting the MacBook Pro.
If you prefer tablets, or tablet style reading then the iPad will be better for you.  You should keep in mind that ther are restrictions on the files that you can view or work with on the iPad.
Overall, I prefer the MacBook Pro because of its versatility, durability and capabilities to do multiple file types.  If you have any more questions, feel free to drop by your local Apple Store or Apple Authorize Retailer.  They will be happy to help you!

You should not need to have special IP address configurations to manage your devices and software. You can do this in the private network offered by any router, provided all devices being managed are behind that router. If for some reason you need a static IP on the network (such as for the server itself), then you can delegate one to the server in your router, but you dont need a special public IP address configuration from your ISP to set this up and make use of it.

  • Belkin Power Pack for shuffle ok w/ iPod video?

    Hi,
I was wondering if I can safely use the Belkin USB Power Pack for iPod Shuffle to power and charge my iPod Video. It is a USB AC Adapter and a cigarette lighter USB car adapter. I haven't found any info on the Belkin web site, and their email support hasn't responded yet.
    Thanks for your input.

  • External battery power bank manufacturer

    Hi there,
I need an external battery bank.
I went out for a short trip in the past two days, where was impossible to get a wall charger to charge my phone, camera and things, hence I thought it'd be really great if I got a solar battery power bank or a compact and practical battery pack charger that can charge my phones especially the camera in the trip days.
Can your guys suggest some external battery chargers from power bank manufacturer besides Sunwith good for maybe a short trip? economic if possible.
    This is Sunwith:

  • Which output put  should i use with my external battery to charge my ipad mini?

    Hi,
I just bought an external battery (anker astro 2) and it comes with two output ports 1A and 2A. Which port should i use to safely charger my ipad mini?

Either one will work just fine.  Circuitry in the iPad controls how much actual current is going to the battery.  The 2A port will take less time to fully charge the battery.

  • Can't find battery power option for time machine

I'm semi new to macs. I've been messing around with my wife's for the last week or so.
I first upgraded her OS to 10.5. After the initial upgrade I was given both the
    a) battery power option and
    b) time machine in menu bar option.
Unfortunately after messing around with her sparesimage I corrupted it and had to do a clean install last night. After this clean install these two time machine options are missing.
Can anybody lead me in the right direction on how to restore both of these options?
Working with a Macbook with an intel processor. Pretty sure last night did all the software and OS updates, so I should be running 10.5.5.

    a) I don't need my laptop's battery status... I want the option to disable time machine backups when my computer is running on battery power.
    b) As my original post states, that option is no longer on the Time Machine preferences screen. It has disappears since I re installed the OS.

  • X240 DO NOT HAVE Internal Battery, keypad backlit. 3 Cell External Battery only last for 2 hours!

Why does Lenovo dont tell about this missing features??
I bought the unit a day before I left the country, and then to my surprise it does not have the internal battery that Lenovo is boasting about. Fn+Spacebar doesnt work in lighting up the keypad and the 3-cell external batter is no way near to 4 hrs!
    **bleep** hell Lenovo?
Another thing, is it possible to turn on the light (near the webcam) to light up the keyboard at all?

    Hi,
    1. Information about battery capacity for laptops with fixed configuration (i.e.not CTO) is provided in PSREF (for not all countries), on Lenovo support site in laptop model short description. It looks like the strings below:
    6c Li-Ion
3c front battery and 3c rear battery
3c front battery and 6c rear battery
The 1st string is for 6 cell rear (external) battery.
If laptop is CTO the battery information is available in the purchase order or in the parts data base.
    2. Keyboard backlight capability is optional feature. This information could be found in PSREF, in support site parts data base by laptop serial number.
    3. ThinkLight feature is absent in Haswell based Lenovo Thinkpads.

  • Language pack for Ipad.

I got a Apple bought on USA, and now I'm in Brazil. But it doesn't have Portuguese language available for choosing in General Options. Is there any language pack for me to download it?

As far as I know Portuguese was included in earlier iOS versions. On my iPad Portuguese (which I assume is Brazilian Portuguese) appears at the bottom of the first screenful of language options, with Portuguese (Portugal) just below it :

  • Better sleep or shut down to reduce battery power lost for MBP?

better sleep or shutdown the MBP late 2011 because it seems that sleep will make battery loss percentage even a fews...

Shutdown will preserve the battery charge level for the longest period of time.
Rechargeable batteries are subject to self discharge so it will still lose charge but at a much lower rate than while in sleep.

  • I need to buy an external battery solar charger for my iPad 2. Does anyone have the specifications for it, such as  volts, miliamperes, amperes, etc ??

I Want to buy an external  solar battery charger for my iPad 2. Does anyone know the right specifications for it.
Is this one good for me ? 12000mAh Portable Solar Power Battery Pack. You can find it on this link.
    http://dx.com/p/12000mah-portable-solar-power-battery-pack-with-laptop-cellphone -adapters-72218?item=37
    Thanks.

The iPad charger is rated at 10W - 5V @ 2A  An iPhone/iPod charger is rated at 5W - 5V @ 1A. An iPhone charger will charge the iPad, but much slower than the iPad charger. Based on the specs, I don't think it's adequate for the iPad.

  • Which external power bank for iPad air 2

I Have just purchased a IPad Air 2 and looking for an external batty pack to use when out and about or away. I did have one for my previous iPad but it was not that great, can anyone recommend one or even what the minimum power size I should go for, for example 8,000 mAh.
    thanks for all your help
    SI

I can only recommend a brand I've used and that is New Trent. Very good quality for a very good price. Google "New Trent" and you will find plenty that will fit your needs. One recommendation though irregardless of brand, ensure that the model is meant specifically for the iPad/larger tablets and get the model with highest amperage rating you can afford.
