Thanks in advance

vamsi

hi,
SAP standard supports external catalog integration for B2B scenario, not for B2C scenario. For external catalog integation the product id of external system should match with CRM product master.External catalog integration is done through OCI(open catalog interface). For OCI u have to maintain setting in XCM of B2B.

  • XSRF error when returning to SRM from external catalog

    Hello,
We recently applied support package stack 19 to our SRM 5.0 development system, and after doing so found that some of our configured catalogs began producing an XSRF error when attempting to populate the SRM shopping cart with items from the catalog. The symptoms encountered are practically identical with those described in Note 1615697 ("Return to SRM application from Catalogs result in Dump"). This error did not occur prior to applying support packages.
In an effort to resolve the problem, we applied the following Notes that described the same or similar symptoms:
1551982: Cross Site Request Forgery Protection for stateless BSP
1596088: frequent dumps in ITS services
    1607780: Update #5 to security note 1522651
1613427: ITS Services lead to XSRF Dumps
1615697: Return to SRM application from Catalogs result in Dump
1619323: Frequent Dump issue in ITS
1621525: Dump in Vendor list service
1629031: BBP_BACKGROUND_APPROVAL service results in dump
1632110: Quotation search help fields results in a Dump
1634612: Frequent Dump issue in ITS in Search screens
1650207: BBP_POC service results in XSRF dump
    1658516: Applets sheitern an XSRF-Schutz (COOKIE_NOT_FOUND)
1675491: ITS: CALL BROWSER and termination of a session
This did result in some of our catalogs working that previously were dumping, but we are still having issues with at least two and possibly other catalogs. These are external vendor catalogs using the OCI interface.
The error occurs at the time of transmitting items from the catalog back into the SRM shopping cart. The catalog screen is replaced with an error screen with the messages "The URL https://<<our SRM dev system>>:/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpsc03/ was not called due to an error" and "A:ITS_P:019 XSRF no sec_sesstoken". The shopping cart in the SRM system is lost after this error occurs. No short dump is recorded, but the SM21 system log records the ITS_P 019 error against tcode BBPSC03, program SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS.
Most of our catalogs, internal and external, are fine after applying the Notes. Just two external vendor catalogs still exhibit this error.
I experimented with adding a new parameter after the Return URL in the catalog configuration in SPRO with name = ~SAP_SESSTOKEN, value = `SAP_SESSTOKEN`, and type = SAP Field, based upon Note 1481392, but this did not make any change in the behavior.
I have patched the kernel (7.00) to pl335 (pl310 is delivered with sps19).
Anyone else having this sort of issue?
    Best regards,
    Matt

  • CRM webshop external catalog

Has anybody used an external catalog integrated with the CRM web shop?
How does the integration work?Based on OCI API?
Can you select a product in an external catalog and add it to the web shop shopping cart and just pay for it?
    Thanks

    Hi,
ok, understood. Well, that would leave the "standard" out-of-the-box capabilities. We do have (few, perhaps a hand full) customers (which I can't name here unfortunately) that have done it this way. Actually, at least in one case the OCI interface was used to fill the basket on the fly and continue the process from there. By using the persistent shopping basket feature, they also can go back and forth between the "external catalog" and the SAP E-Commerce shopping basket. In this case it is a B2C process, which allows you to not run into potential single sign on issues between the solutions.
Please note (which you already know) that following this you would leave normal support coverage...
If it's B2B, I would rather look at checking whether it could be done in the way described further up in this thread, logging on to the shop first...

  • Open Catalog Interface (OCI) - Is CRM/ISA ready to be an External Catalog?

I have found much information here and on help.sap.com talking about how to set up an external catalog to be part of our catalog(s). But, there is a severe lack of information to educate myself as to whether our catalog(s) are ready to be added as an external catalog to our customer's SRM system for example.
The only valuable information I have been able to find on how to be sure that our CRM/ISA Partnershop can be used by our business partners in their various (SRM) procurement systems is here:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm40sr1/helpdata/en/73/fd147fcaaf41489508aaac8e3e37b5/frameset.htm
We have a specific request that our CRM/ISA Partnershop be made available via our business partner's SRM system.  I can find no guide to help me provide the requested information without basically just guessing on my part.
This is what they provided as a worksheet to return.
I assume the following or would like additional input:
    1)  They will need a Userid and Password.
    2)  For Language, we currently only support EN.  Would I enter EN or just leave blank?
    3)  What do the following refer to?  (These are the fields as requested and their suggested value by our customer)
      ~OKCODE       ADDI
      ~TARGET       _top
      ~FORCETARGET       YES
      ~CALLER       CTLG
      HOOK_URL       (Assumed to be blank)
    4)  These are the required OCI fields they would be expecting from the our catalog, but they can accept all OCI Release 4.0 fields...Assuming the connections from the above settings are made properly, will CRM automatically provide the approrpriate detail or do I need to set something somewhere?  All the XCM/DCM config settings for OCI seem to deal with an incoming External Catalog, not outgoing.
    OCI fields
    <input type='hidden' name='NEW_ITEM-QUANTITY[1]' value='3'>
    <input type='hidden' name='NEW_ITEM-DESCRIPTION[1]' value='Descriptio'>
    <input type='hidden' name='NEW_ITEM-UNIT[1]' value='DZN'>
    <input type='hidden' name='NEW_ITEM-PRICE[1]' value='1.62'>
    <input type='hidden' name='NEW_ITEM-LEADTIME[1]' value='5'>
    <input type='hidden' name='NEW_ITEM-CURRENCY[1]' value='USD'>
    <input type='hidden' name='NEW_ITEM-MATGROUP[1]' value='44121704'>
    5)  Do I need to 'do' anything not listed above to be sure our catalog(s) are ready to perform as requested?
    Thanks for any clarification/links, etc
I've spent weeks off and on now to try to determine an answer I could feel confident in.

1/25/07 - Found a bit more info, but still need help determining if there are any additional settings/configs we need to make before starting to test with our Business Partner.

I did these steps already, but have not tested yet:
Customizing and Settings in CRM / Internet Sales
Settings for receiving purchase orders in CRM
Purchase order without reference to a quotation:
In the CRM Business Connector, an XML purchase order is received via HTTP and it is converted into a sales order IDOC. This IDOC is then transferred to CRM and is posted there.
The delivered mapping service expects a purchase order in the OLD_EBP XML format, which is transformed into a NEW EBP XML, xCBL and finally a CRM IDOC XML.
The following settings must be made in CRM:
    · Creating a partner profile for the sender
    Path in SAP Menu
    Tools -> Business Communication -> IDoc-Basis -> Administration -> Partner profile.
    Partner type: Customer
Partner number: Number of the sold-to party in CRM
Transaction code: APLI (Individual IDoc processing)
    Message type: CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M
    (key fields of table EDPP1:
    -PARNUM partner number
    -PARTYP partner type)
    ·         To view CRM address management errors in the document, the parameter CRM_USER_LEVEL must be set to value 9.
    Path in SAP Menu
System -> User profile -> Own data -> Parameters.
I have asked my Basis contact to look into this portion:
    Business Connector
Install a Business Connector 4.0 or higher.
    Required packages:
    · Sap_crm
    · Sap_crm_customizing
    · XSLT (only for BC 4.0, not required for BC 4.6)
After processing the purchase order that was received first, an inactive routing rule is created that is completed and activated.
    Path in BC
BC Manager -> Adapters -> Routing -> Edit.
    Transport: ALE (R/3 IDoc)
    SAP Destination:
The ports must be activated and the service EbpXmlToRfc must be accessible before the Business Connector can receive documents.
Some CRM settings are hard coded in the transformations. They are in the file BasicOrderSettings.xsl, that are in the directory ...ServerpackagesSap_crmxsltincludesxcbl2sapcrm_xif.
    These are:
    Transaction type: TA (standard order)
Item object type: BUS2000131(sales item CRM)
Text ID under which the order text is created in the CRM order: 1000 (customer note)
Make sure that all of the available Business Connector patches are installed.
Our customer contact says they went with WebMethod instead of Business Connector, but I'm hoping we can make it work using BC without having to research yet another piece of the puzzle.
Any additional detail/advice from anyone that's set up their Partnershop to be connected to SRM EBP via OCI?

  • External product catalog integration with SAP CRM

    Hi Forum,
I want to integrate a third party Java based product catalog with SAP CRM.
Currently, ISA is being used as the front-end.The CRM has a product catalog which is being used.
In place of this I want to add an external product catalog.
This is for a B2C shopping website. The user will browse through the external catalog and the selected products should be added to the shopping basket of ISA.
I'm aware that the Open Catalog Interface (OCI) is used for this purpose in B2B using SRM server.
Is there a similar interface for B2C applications?
    Aditya Karajgi

    Hi Pratik,
I dont think you understood my question.
What I want to implement is something like Open Catalog Interface (OCI) which is used in B2B implementations.
The catalog will be created by an open source content management system.
Product categories will be created and maintained using this system.
Users will browse the catalog and select products.
These selected products will be added to the shopping basket in Webshop.
We dont want to get into the complexities of using JCo or IDocs for this.
There should be some interface which is similar to OCI for B2C applications.
Thanks and waiting for ur response.

  • Maintenance of product number in external catalog

    Hi Experts,
Is there any possibility for maintaining the product number in external catalogue?
    Please clarify.
    Regards,
    Ashok

    Hi,
I guess External catalog means External Supplier Catalog.
Product Master code is defined in Buyer side. Suppliers have never know the product master code.
External Supplier Catalog has Supplier Parts Number. If buyer side maintains product master with supplier parts number, you can map supplier parts number to your product master in the BADI.
If buyer has big buying power, they can ask supplier to put product master in the supplier catalog.

We will be upgrading from SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.0
We currently have CCM .....Few questins on catalog enablement for us with SRM 7:
1.With SRM 7,0,can we use CCM oor MDM is the only option???
2.Is it better to have MDM as a seperate server and enable SRM MDM catalog content?
3.We have 2 punch out catalogs for 2 vendors. How to enable the punch out catalog links in SRM 7.0???What is the path for IMG config??
    4. We have around 20 internal supplier catalogs .Now should we upload few of the supplier catalogs and then upload rest or can we upload all the suuplier catalogs at once through IMPORT MANAGER in MDM ???What are therestrictions in terms of the no of catalogs or catalog data that can be improted and mapped ???
5.What are additional features in SRM MDM 3.0 catalog  in contrast to CCM??
6.The backend master data such as Supplier/Porg etc.....how is that synchronised from SRM to SRM MDM catalog???Is it through some scheduled programs???
7.What is the use of PI/XI in enabling SRM MDM catalog??Why is it mandatory??
    8. What are the allowed file types for cataog data upload in MDM???Like it was CSV in CCM...

10.What are the lastest SP for MDM available for integration with SRM 7.0??

12.Also maintaining catalog data in MDM for SRM procurement will be a seprate actibity just like maintaing catalog in CCM??
I have gone through the help links but wud like ansers to above ques based on experiences of the forum members...Please provide inputs to my above queries if anybody has worked on MDM catalog integration with SRM 7.0....
    Thanks for your time.

    HI,
1.With SRM 7,0,can we use CCM oor MDM is the only option???
You can use any catalogs which support SAP OCI interface.
2.Is it better to have MDM as a seperate server and enable SRM MDM catalog content?
MDM Server(contents) and AS Java(for UI) are required. Please check the installation guide.
3.We have 2 punch out catalogs for 2 vendors. How to enable the punch out catalog links in SRM 7.0???What is the path for IMG config??
Same as SRM 5.0. Define External Web Services.
Yes. You can use Import Manager. No issues.
6.The backend master data such as Supplier/Porg etc.....how is that synchronised from SRM to SRM MDM catalog???Is it through some scheduled programs???
      MDM Extractor is available.
7.What is the use of PI/XI in enabling SRM MDM catalog??Why is it mandatory??
      Mainly for contents mapping.
    8. What are the allowed file types for cataog data upload in MDM???Like it was CSV in CCM...
Any. Even for DB interface is also supported. You see all options when you run import manager.
    9. Where can I find some sample catalog files for test upload?
Sample repository definition is delivered. You can manually create 1 entry by Data Manager.
10.What are the lastest SP for MDM available for integration with SRM 7.0??
You can find it SAP Service Marketplace. http://service.sap.com/swdc
    11. after price changes from supplier(thru negotiation),are these price changes to be updated manually for indiavidual items/products through MDM data manager or is there any way to automate this delta update for price in MDM???
You can use contract and contract items are transfered to Catalog.
12.Also maintaining catalog data in MDM for SRM procurement will be a seprate actibity just like maintaing catalog in CCM??
      Yes. Catalog is just Catalog.

  • External catalog specifications for SAP E-commerce 5.0

    Hi Experts,
We want to integrate external catalog ( which is custom deveponed by our client.). Using OCI interface we want to use this custom based catalog, in place of SAP ISA TREX based catalog.  In ISA settings I just see that I need to define the url for the external catalog. BUT this external catalog should confirm to certain rules, Please can someone guide me, what are these set of rules?
Please help, as this is a very critical bottle neck for our project.
    Thanks in advance,
    Dipender Singh

    Hi Dipender,
The catalog must be OCI compliant in order o use it in conjunction with the SRM Server, compliance in a nutshell means that it will transmit it's return data in the format expected by SRM, the HOOK_URL will contain all the necessary parameters to transmit the HTML data into an expected an readable format for ICI INterface.
For more details please read the attached OCI Config doc.

  • Vendor from external Catalog not assigned to PM Order

    Dear Experts,
When connecting to an external catalog from Plant Maintenance in SAP, we are having issues receiving the vendor master number even though it is coming back in the NEW_ITEM-VENDOR in the OCI interface; it is not assigning the vendor in the Order.
    - Did anyone have this issue before?
    - Any suggestions on what might be going on?
    Thanks & regards,
    José Omar

    Hello Chandra,
Please check your external catalog transfers NEW_ITEM-VENDOR value. If the external catalog is single supplier catalog you can maintain Business Partner in catalog ID detail customizing.

  • External Catalog Call Structures

We are on SRM 4.0 and integrated ITS.  We are using the standard call structure for external catalogs which opens in a new window.  However, this is causing grief with our users because they tend to stay in the catalogs too long and eventually timeout of SRM.  Our current timeout is set to 30 minutes.  Therefore, when they go to the catalogs, SRM sits idle.  When they checkout of the catalog to bring the items over into SRM, they will get a timeout message.
I would like to have the catalog open in the same window as SRM.  I understand this is done through integrated call structure.
However, when I select my items from the catalog and check out, I'm not brought back into my shopping cart.  Another window opens with the look of external ITS.
Is there something I need to do with the call structure so that the items are added back to my shopping cart?
Are there other options so that users do not timeout of SRM?  If SRM is sitting idle, can a message popup letting the user know their session will timeout soon unless they check out of the catalogs?

    Hi Monique,
Last document i have in for ebp 3.0 !
It is a configuration guide for setting up inframe catalogue.
    Extract :
    Prerequisites
    You have:
installed an SAP Markets Enterprise Buyer Professional Edition 3.0 system
installed the Requisite catalog (BugsEye 3.0)
installed a Java Runtime Environment (for example Java 2 SDK Standard
    Edition)
    installed a servlet engine
    Activities
    Checking BugsEye_Config
Copying of the WAR (Web Archive) file
    Deployment of the Application
    Changing the WEB.XML
Defining the Internal Call Structure in EBP
I can send you the document.
However i do not know if it is still compliant...
    Kind regards,

  • External Catalog

    Hi All,
In external catalog,I am able to get into the site and shop. But when I return I am unable to pull the data to the shopping cart.I get the data as XML file.
I hope we dont require XI to pull the data to SRM server.
Can any body help me on how to map the fields?Should the mapping be done on the Standard call structure or Integrated call structure? If possible Pls give an example

    Hi,
Are you trying to OCI?? Integration using OCI does not require XI. If you are using OCI, SRM expects data in the HTML format. Let me know more details on your requirement.

  • Settings for external catalog

    Dear experts,
we are trying to set up an external catalog in order for a specific customer to be able to place orders through his SRM system.
Searching, i found out that the settings that need to be done from the SRM side are the following:
First step is to setup the OCI Catalog connectivity. In order to do this the SRM side will need to setup the following parameters:
    URL= http://[hostname]:[port]/[application-name]/b2b/init.do?shop=shopname&forward=ocireceive
    ~OKCODE ADDI
    ~TARGET _top
    ~FORCETARGET YES
    ~CALLER CTLG
    HOOK_URL (blank)
The shop set up is the ISA B2B shop application which works perfectly for the other users using it. What i cannot find is what kind of settings do i need to make in my CRM system in order for the external catalog to be accessible from the customer. I really have no clue where else to look so any help would be highly appreciated.
    Regards to all.

    Hi,
I'm testing the validate function on an external catalogue (SRM 5) and am retrieving the following error just after the post URL which btw looks correct.
Error: Unable to extract ~caller from HOOK_URL
I'm new to this so all input is welcome. Thanks

  • Entering values in Web Services ID and Description, for External Catalog

    Hi,
I am trying to connect to an external Vendor Catalog from ERP. Pl note that we just have ERP ECC 6.0 and no SRM. I went to SPRO and followed menu path 'Materials Management >> Purchasing >> Web Services: ID and Description'. I am not sure what to enter in 1) Seq. Number  2) Name of Parameter for Web Service and 3) Call Structure COLUMNS.
I have URL from Vendor, User Name and Password. I need to know what values are mandatory here so I can successfully connect to external Catalog. If someone can give me sample values, I can try.
    Any help is appreciated,
    Niranjan

    Update on 08/23/2011.
We are able to connect to Vendor Catalog, select items in Cart. When I press 'Place Order' button, I see all items populated in SAP PO ME21N screen. We can then add other information and create PO. This is working great. We have another question. Heard that with ERP ECC 6.0, we can only connect 1 vendor catalog. But with SRM, we can connect more than  1 vendor catalog. Is there a BAPI or change SAP code to connect more than 1 vendor catalog from ECC 6.0 ?
