External Client Error - /groupexpansion/service.svc/WebTicket_Bearer
When users login to the Lync 2013 client from outside the network, it begins continually uploading a heap of data. A fiddler check shows an error, which appears dozens of times after just of few minutes of being connected.
It returns a HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error on https://lync.contoso.com/groupexpansion/service.svc/WebTicket_Bearer
The WebView panel shows:

Hi,
It may be a certificate issue for Edge server, you can first to check the SAN of certificate on Edge server with the help of the link below:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398519.aspx
Also, please try to restart Lync server to test the issue again.

RMS client error: This service is temporarily unavailable
If users try to consume the document he is getting this error. But if he protect document and then try to consume already protected document, he is able to access it with restricted permission. I did run IRM check, no error. Need help.
I may be not clear on my question. Let me put elaborate more
X user logs into the system and protect the document and provide restricted access to Y users
Y users logs into the system. (He has not authenticated with RMS before)
Y users try to consume doc, but he gets the error message saying Service is unavailable...
Now, Y users try to protect the doc (new), which he is able to do successfully
Y user again try to open the doc which was protected by X, and this time he is able to open doc without any error.
I am facing above scenario on Windows 7 and Windows Vista with office 2010.
However, there is no problem with Windows 8 with Office 2010
I am suspecting this is client issue. -
regarding mountain lion server: clients experience intermittent service connections. the server system log has the following error- Client handshake failed (6):113: Server not accepting client connections. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - thank you
Hi Jason
I was getting the same behavior after Apple support had me delete some plist files to get Airplay going. I was also getting the following error:
the error occurred while processing a command of type 'writesettings' in the plug-in 'server vpn'
I went into ~/Library/Preferences/ and /Library/Preferences/ and deleted every plist contating the word server. I had to re-set up my server (meaning walk through some intial steps) but all of my settings were still there after that and everything started working again.
Just a thought, obviously try at your own risk but it worked for me.

Hi! Elvis,
Thanks for your response , I try those settings but still not work. The current IIS setting is as below
Authentication :
(a) MDS Website : Enable Windows Authentication. Disable Anonymous Authentication.
Under Windows Authentication > Advanced Settings > set Extended Protection = Accept or Required
(b) Service Folder : Enable Windows Authentication. Enable Anonymous Authentication.
I trace by Fiddler
and Green arrows point out the bad request when I access Explorer.
Detail error is https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12915406/MDS/fiddler-log.html
HTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized is still the same even apply the suggestions from the links you provided.
I wonder what \Service.svc\bhb is , find bhb in Web.config and set some Authentication to None to test if I can bypass it.
Now the Fiddler has different error.
a:DestinationUnreachable
The message with To 'http://mdsdev.tw.companynet.org:88/Service/Service.svc/bhb' cannot be processed at the receiver, due to an AddressFilter mismatch at the EndpointDispatcher. Check that the sender and receiver's EndpointAddresses agree.
This link has similar problem but I have no idea where I can apply his workaround in my environment.

Append my Web.confg and applicationHost.config snippet for your reference.
Thank you so much!

Error when loggong on for external ID "": Error during SAML 2.0 logon
Hi,
I'm getting be below error when trying to use SAML SSO for a ABAP Webdynpro page on a NW 7.4 system. When I access the page, it redirects to the identity provider, comes back to the page and it shows the logon page. I'm looking for any ideas of things I could look at.

I have updated the service to use alternate logon procedure and added the handler CL_HTTP_EXT_SAML20
I have added the identity provider through transaction SAML2, but it does not seem to be working.
Here is a decrypted SAML assertion:

Hello Everyone,
I'm kinda sure a lot of people have to deal with the same error, but I can't solve it using explainations given in other topics. So here it is :
I'm trying to create a Flex project on Adobe Flash Builder 4.0, using J2EE, BlazeDS and Tomcat6.0.
To have a good start, I want to try some basic interactions between java & flex. For that, I created a java class with a functions returning a String, witch is called when a button is clicked in my main panel :
remoting-config.xml

<service id="remoting-service"
class="flex.messaging.services.RemotingService">
<adapters>
<adapter-definition id="java-object" class="flex.messaging.services.remoting.adapters.JavaAdapter" default="true"/>
</adapters>
<default-channels>

</default-channels>
<destination id="hello">
<properties>
test.HelloWorld
<scope>session</scope>
</properties>
</destination>
</service>
HelloWorld.java
package test;
public class HelloWord {
public String sayHello()
return "Hello from Java";
project.mxml

<s:Application xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx" minWidth="1000" minHeight="600">
<s:Button x="200" y="200" label="Button4" click="callHello(event)"/>
<fx:Declarations>
<s:RemoteObject id="roHello"
destination="hello"
fault="onFault('roHello',event)">
<s:method name="sayHello"
result="onResult(event)"
fault="onFault('roHello.sayHello',event)"/>
</s:RemoteObject>
</fx:Declarations>
<fx:Script>

import mx.controls.Alert;
import mx.rpc.events.FaultEvent;
import mx.rpc.events.ResultEvent;
import mx.rpc.remoting.RemoteObject;

private function onResult(event : ResultEvent) : void
var retour:String;

private function onFault(remoteObject : String, event : FaultEvent) : void
Alert.show(event.fault.message);
//Alert.show("fault");

</fx:Script>
</s:Application>
When I launch my application, the button is created. But as soon as I click on it, I got the following message :

any idea how to solve it ?I've resolved my issue. Perhaps you are correct that my tokens were not resolving, but since you did not offer a way to fix that, I was still on my own. There was nothing helpful that I could find in the console or log.
I found this article, and after using his architecture (using an external config file to define the amf endpoint at runtime) I was able to connect to the back end. I was also looking for a good way to externalize information, so I recommend reading this article:

Exchange 2013 ECP/OWA Error 503 Service Unavailable
Hi,
Hoping that someone can clarify or assist with an issue relating to Exchange 2013 CU3..
Both roles installed on a single 2012 server, mailboxes created, able to login to ECP/OWA using ht tps://servername.int.domain.com/ecp using the out of the box internally generated SSL certificate.
Virtual directory internal and external settings for all directories were configured to be ht tps://mail.domain.com/owa /ecp /EWS etc and a UCC certificate (containing mail.domain.com, autodiscover.domain.com)from GoDaddy was imported and assigned to
IIS and SMTP, internal DNS records were setup internally and externally for mail.domain.com and full propagated, Outlook Anywhere enabled and configured to mail.domain.com, external access configured for all virtual directories
The issue is that ECP and OWA can only be accessed internally by the full internal server FQDN URL ht tps:// serverame.int.domain.com/ecp whereas it should be accessible at this point by ht tps:// mail.domain.com/ecp
Error received both internal and external when trying ht tps://mail.domain.com / owa / rpc etc is error 503 Service Unavailable
I know that the ECP and OWA sites are up and running as I can login and do anything by internal servername URL but no joy at all using the external (which is to be used for internal clients aswell for seamless access)
The only way it works is by adding a host name to the 2 x 443 bindings in IIS for the front end website and set it to mail.domain.com but this means autodiscover.domain.com internally and externally wont work
Is this normal and required for Exchange 2013 or is there a way to resolve this?
Thanks in advance!Hi,
I found a article might help you, for you reference:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2619402
Generally, this error occurs if the application pool that is associated with the web application doesn't start.
To troubleshoot this issue, follow these steps:
In Event Viewer, view the System log to find errors from the Microsoft-Windows-WAS source. An event is frequently logged in the System log if the application pool fails to start.
If you don't find any relevant events in the System log, search for relevant entries in the HTTPERR log file. The httperr1.log file is located in the following system folder:
c:\windows\system32\logfiles
In the file, search on "503" to locate any relevant information about why the application pool failed. For example, you may see an entry that resembles the following:
2011-12-08 18:26:42 ::1%0 6721 ::1%0 443 HTTP/1.1 GET /owa 503 3 N/A SharePoint+Web+Services+Root
Thanks.

Error 503--Service Unavailable. Error while Test the webservice
Hi...
I created a webservice and deply it into a remote weblogic server. It deployed there and when I click on Test client, it shows this error.
Error 503--Service Unavailable
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.4 503 Service Unavailable
The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. The implication is that this is a temporary condition which will be alleviated after some delay. If known, the length of the delay may be indicated in a Retry-After header. If no Retry-After is given, the client SHOULD handle the response as it would for a 500 response.
Note: The existence of the 503 status code does not imply that a server must use it when becoming overloaded. Some servers may wish to simply refuse the connection.
How we can rectify this.
hope for a reply...
Resmi.Check the WLS server log files for a more detailed error (stacktrace).

Frustrated by Error 503--Service Unavailable Error
I am currently being frustrated by a Error 503--Service Unavailable error. I have worked with WL 8.x for a couple of years but just set up my first WL 9.x server. I cannot find anything in the logs and am at a loss as to how to proceed. I am not sure if the problem is with my WAR file or with the server configuration. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
I am having the exact same error. Any solutions yet???

Hi All,
We have to talk to OSB11g proxy service which is created as Any Soap service (url: http://myosb.firmname.com:7001/osb-ws)
I have java client applications which need to consume this proxy service built on top of OSB by providing the necessary inputs.
Typically we get wsdl url's and then we use Jdeveloper to create web service client proxies to generate client side web service artifacts and call the web service.
But I am confused here as to how can I get a handle to the OSB service from a java client. The OSB developers on the project tell me they don't have and cannot provide a WSDL based URL.
What are the general practices for consuming OSB proxy service from java client apps. Google search result did not yield much help.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Regards,Hi Anuj,
Thanks for reply. As u guys mentioned that about the URL I have rechecked the URL and realized the port number which I was using that was Admin Server Port while environment contains two servers Admin and Managed both. I have change the Port Number from Admin to Managed now its hitting the Service but now another problem I start facing that I need to pass a big XML as input request to that OSB Proxy Service. I have two different code where I am attaching the input request in two different ways but none of them is passing that request to URL and in both cases I am getting default response from URL.
Here is the Code, Code1 through Core Java:

Cannot find deployed Remote Bean from external client
I have a very simple Stateless Session bean running in the SAS PE 9, which from what I can see has been successfully deployed. The application is listed as enabled in the Admin Console. Likewise, when I look at the JNDI tree, I can see the following entries at the top:
com.intecbilling.svConnectorHarness.TestRunnerRemote
This is the name of the Remote Interface, that I have defined for the ejb TestRunnerBean. It does very little:
package com.intecbilling.svConnectorHarness;
import javax.ejb.Stateless;
@Stateless
public class TestRunnerBean implements TestRunnerRemote, TestRunnerLocal {
public void runTest() {
System.out.println("Running test!");
}and the Remote Interface is
package com.intecbilling.svConnectorHarness;
import java.rmi.RemoteException;
import javax.ejb.Remote;
@Remote
public interface TestRunnerRemote {
void runTest() throws RemoteException;
}Now, I'm trying to call this runTest() method from an external client. The client code looks like
public void connectUsingJNDI(String paramName) throws NamingException {
Properties env = new Properties();
env.put("java.naming.factory.initial", initialFactory);
env.put("java.naming.provider.url", providerUrl);
String myJndi = jndiName;
if (paramName != null) {
myJndi = paramName;
Context ctx = new InitialContext(env);
System.out.println("looking for " + myJndi);
Object returnedObject = ctx.lookup(myJndi);
System.out.println("returnedObject=" + returnedObject);
}I am using:
- com.sun.jndi.cosnaming.CNCtxFactory as the initial factory
- iiop://<machineName>:3700 as the url. I'm using 3700 because that is the port against which my appServer's orb-listener-1 is using
I've tried to look for the JNDI name of
com.intecbilling.svConnectoryHarness.TestRunnerRemote
because that is what is displayed in the JNDI View. When I do this, I get the following error:
/svjca-src> runMe.sh com.intecbilling.svConnectorHarness.TestRunnerRemote
looking for com.intecbilling.svConnectorHarness.TestRunnerRemote

... 5 more
Now, no matter what I do, I get this. Running with the AS jars in the classpath or not. Running with the following system variables
-Dorg.omg.CORBA.ORBClass=com.sun.corba.ee.impl.orb.ORBImpl -Dorg.omg.CORBA.ORBSingletonClass=com.sun.corba.ee.impl.orb.ORBSingleton -Djavax.rmi.CORBA.UtilClass=com.sun.corba.ee.impl.javax.rmi.CORBA.Util
Also provide me no joy. I've also tried using the JNDI format with the corbaname embedded in it (looks like corbaname:iiop:machinename:3700#com.intecbilling.svConnectorHarness.TestRunnerRemote) and I get the exact same exception.
From what I'm seeing, I'm finding the remote NamingContext, but it doesn't like the JNDI name. I've tried fully-qualified names (as it is displayed in the JNDI tree) and unqualified names with the exact same results. From all of the posts I've read, I've tried all the various combinations that I can see to no avail. Is there a security issue going on here? I haven't enabled any security at all. I'm running out of ideas, and if I can't get any joy, I'll probably have to use a different app server to play with.
Thanks for any help,
EdHi Ed,
We have an EJB FAQ entry that describes how to access Remote EJBs from a stand-alone (non Java EE) client. In a nutshell, put appserv-rt.jar in your classpath and instantiate the 0-arg InitialContext constructor. You can find more details here :

Web Service Error - no service endpoints found
Hi,
I tried to create a web service deployable proxy project to consume an external third party web service url. There were no files generated for Logical Ports and Proxy Classes, though there are files generated for WSDL and SEIs. A further test on http://ip:port/index.html -> web service -> Enter the WSDL URL of the Web service -> No Service Endpoints Found, prove that something wrong with the url.
Any idea for me to check what goes wrong with the web service url? or could it due to firewall?In the meantime, there are also consuming my java-created web service using the test tool from http://www.soapclient.com/soaptest.html.
