External Hard drive error: "because a usb devise was drawing too much power from your computer, one or more of your usb devises has been disabled.

I plugged in three external hard drives (at different times) and the above error was reported and now external drives will not work on other computers.  What happened and how can I save data on external drives?

Have you rebooted the computer? If not do that and check. If it still won't see USB devices take it to Apple and have them FIX it.
