External LCD not getting 'Red' Signal

I have my Macbook connected to a 20" LCD monitor here at work, and it's worked wonderfully for quite some time. Suddeny today, I lose the Red signal to the LCD. I've plugged in another LCD to my Macbook, and everything displays correctly. I've plugged the LCD into another monitor, and everything displays fine, so the Macbook and the Monitor seem to have no issues as they work just fine independant of the other.
So, what would cause this on just this specific LCD all of a sudden? I have reset the PRAM and the PMU or whatever to no avail.
Oh, and changing the profiles doesn't do anything either.

It was the cable in the end... had a short. Even with all the shifting of monitors and such, after I set it back up for me it was still crappy, then my foot kicked the cable and voila, it was fixed.

Qosmio X500 - enternal monitor does not get a signal

its come a time when I need a external monitor to extend my desktop. I plugged in one of my monitors to the laptop. Qosmio sees it but the monitor does not get a signal. Tried a 2nd monitor and it does the same thing says cable not connected on 1 and power save on other.
I tested the monitors and cables on another laptop in the house and they work fine so its down to the laptop. Ive tried hdmi on a tv and that works fine, so seems to be just the vga as the laptop sees the monitor when connected does that mean the vga port is ok?
And could be something else? Any advice is welcome cheers.

Your posting is a bit confusing for me and I don't see clear structure there. What have you tested and the result is not clearly described.

How have you tested it? With your Qosmio or what?
Anyway, it is not easy to say what is wrong there. Try to test it with TV again. Connect your Qosmio to the TV using HDMI cable, switch to HDMI port on TV and use FN+F5 key combination to switch between LCD and TV.
Does it work?

Keep on talking to Vodafone and keep pestering them until you get a satisfactory answer. Whether you get a 3G signal or not, is entirely the responsibility of Vodafone India because they are your carrier/phone company and nobody here can help you with that on a public user to user technical support forum.
Contact Vodafone as they are the only ones who can help you.

Please help, Ps4 not getting a signal....

I'm not getting a signal on my tv for my ps4. The blue light flashes for a minute then turns solid white. I borrowed the system from my brother. Apparently he said it was messing up before i got it. He said it was working then he switched tv's to watch a movie on a bigger tv. After watching the movie he switched back to the original tv and thats when it lost signal. Sorry if it sounds confusing, im new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

External HDD not getting detected?

My 250GB Transcend External HDD is not getting detected. Help please. Even yesterday, I had used it successfully. I don't have a clue what happened.

[TV@Plus] Not getting any signals

I recently purchased a TV @nywhere Plus card. I installed it, along with all the software for it. But no matter what I try I cannot get any signals with TV or FM. I know the card is installed properly, because the remote works fine. The antenna is plugged in properly. I've even installed drivers from the MSI website. I've tried using a cable antenna instead of the stock one. I've tried fiddling with every setting I can find. I've tried using the TV Winamp Plugin. I just do not know what the problem is. As far as I can tell it's a hardware problem, but I just can't figure it out. Does anybody have any idea what the problem might be?

Macbook will not get wifi signal when docked into hedge dock station

My Macbook will not get a wifi signal, whenever docked into the Hedge Dock Station. It will however, get the signal when out of the station. It worked for months before.

Wi-Fi is not Bluetooth. If you are using the phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot, then you connect to it using Wi-Fi, not Bluetooth. There's no Bluetooth pairing involved.
Turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot feature on your phone.
On the Mac, open System Preferences and click on the Network icon.
Select "Airport" in the left pane and then click the "Turn AirPort On" button.
Select the name of your phone in the drop-down next to "Network Name".
Provide the password you setup for the network on your phone.
It's nice to have the ability to turn the Wi-Fi on and off in the menu bar rather than have to open System Preferences each time. You can click the checkbox next to "Show AirPort status in menu bar" in the Network pane to do just that.

Thanks for the reply, I had tried all that to no avail. I have borrowed a phone from a French friend and bought a SIM card so I am now ok in France.
From all the non Verizon answers I got to my posted problem, I seriously doubt there is anywhere in France except along the border with Germany or Belgium that the Verizon phone and the international package will actually work.
I wonder why you sold it to me.

Not getting any signal out from the NI9472 cRIO

I want to generate PWM signal from the NI9472 in cRIO.
I made a vi which (I think) should generate the pulse in the DO0 port.
but when I measure DO0 with oscilloscope, I get nothing out from it. (The LED comes up in NI9472 that channel 0 is active)
Is there anything I am doing wrong here? (I attached the project and block diagram in jpg)

Hi hinewwiner,
Overall, your implementation looks good. I think it might be worth your while
to look at two other examples of PWM I found on our website which may be more
efficient and more accurate. Another important thing to not about the 9472 is
that it must have an external power supply connected to it for any output to occur.
If you do not have any supply, the channel may be switching (and thus the
channel LED will show activity,) but you will not see any change in output
voltage. Also note that the LED should be off when the channel is not switched,
and on when it is switched. So if you run your PWM at a slow enough speed, you
will see the light turn on when the pulse is high and off when the pulse is low
(at the rates shown in your attached project, your eye will probably not be
able to discern a change.) It may also be helpful for you to describe exactly
what the LED is doing to get a better idea of whether the code has stopped in a
channel closed position, or if it is simply changing very fast.
Another slight possibility is that the unit has experienced an over current
condition. Because the module has automatic over current protection, if it is
exposed to a current greater then 13A, the unit will open the channel switch
and wait for a reset. This may have occurred, and the activity light will still
show normal operation. To ensure that this condition is removed, simply reset
the channel, or disconnect and reconnect the external power supply.
For testing purposes, it may also make sense to simplify your VI by removing
the case structure, start button, stop button and outside while loop. You can
then simply start the VI in your real time controller, and stop the VI using
the abort command given in your real time code.

My iPhone 5 does not get GPS signal

Good day,
I noticed with my iPhone 5 that the map directions never seem to work. Then I noticed my Nike+ app GPS signal always shows as weak and it doesn't work. I never had the problem with my iPhone 4S so I thought maybe the new iOS. I took my old 4S in it's case (now my wifes phone) and started the Nike+ on it and on my iPhone 5 (no case) sitting next to each other. The 4S got a strong GPS signal. The 5 got nothing...
Has anyone out there experienced the same thing? I'm trying to determine if this a global 5 thing or just my phone.

For the record - After calling support and running some diags I took the iPhone 5 into an Apple store. The phone was replaced and all is good. So this turns out to be a hardware issue, not an app or software issue.

Can I opt to not get red dots on the icon

When an update is avaiable, a red dot is placed on the icon. I don't want this to happen. How can I stop this behavior? The option is to remove the icon from the dock. Is that what Apple wants me to do? (And consequently, not purchase anything from the app store.)

That's what the red dot is for. So you go and download the app, that way they let you know when an update is available, so you always have the latest version.
If you don't like it, just remove it form the dock and use the Launch Pad to start your apps. I set mint to activate with CTRL_ARROW UP. Love it.
I actually cleaned all junk from my dockm left only the bare essentials (mostly just built-in apps) and started using launch pad very heavily - minus the annoying app store red dots whih drove me up a freaking wall, same as you.
I know you can modify what the red dot displays in Mail, but I don't think you can disable red dot in wither Mail App Store or iWeb apps.

I do not get the signal that is advertised or stated by your coverage maps, or sales people. I am getting sick and tired of the Verizon run-around. My next step is to submit a formal complaint to the FCC and my state Better Business Bureau. I will also

Verizon service is rapidly declining. In addition, the provided service is not as advertised. This is fraud by any standard.

They have what is called heat maps which give a reasonable indication of QOS quality of service. I am also beset by reception problems. well I have bad news for you any type of wireless service is predicated of "best effort" meaning they try best to deliver service to as many paid subscribers in service area. They figure their statistics based of how many service workers great ok and lastly outliers like me and you. You raise a case to state regulator or local that you feel your community has been targeted by bias in heat maps & why it should be fixed. It might work or might not. A better effort is to take your case to FCC. If you can prove there is favoritism in delivery of service to your community then they will deal with verizon but the FCC isn't going to pay much attention if your a crank and keep pestering them . My angle has been to keep plugging away at it explain business reasons of why they need to extend service but being respectful to Verizon. Keeping pressure on them maybe even helping them if local community is biased against adding cell tower or other Red tape . Give them benefit of doubt too they may be hampered by community or local state justification that just wont grant any service improvements.

Not Getting Video Signal

I just purchased an 80 GB Black iPod Classic today and I was told by the Apple salesman to also purchase the "iPod A/V Cable" so I can also view videos. It cost about $19.99 and so I purchased it. After syncing everything into my iPod, I get ready to play all of it back on my TV. I plug everything in the right color codes, except I only get audio. The audio plays back and sounds fine, but the video is non-existent. Is there a way to fix this or do I need to take this iPod A/V cable back?

Hello there.
I'm pretty sure you will need the new AV cable that connects to the bottom of the ipod. It 's confusing because the chart on this page makes it seem like the old AV cable will work too. I took mine to the Apple store and all seemed to agree that I needed the new cable out in 3-4 weeks.
