Cannot reset my password - e-mail doesn't come
Hi, I have been trying to reset my password, i believe i know the e-mail, when I try to do it, it says it sends the e-mail, but the e-mai never comes... it's not for this account, this is just a back-up...
https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA34537/i-don-t-have-or-don-t-know-my-registered-email-address
I had to google a ton of info and when i finaly found it i was happy apprently the fill out form works but not the e-mail recover system. It made me very frustrated that everytime i get a skype update or something i get locked out and cannot reset my password.
Hope this works for you to -
I click "forgot password" and choose to send email.
But the e-mail doesn't comes to me.
My sister have been created 3 IDs and forgotten.
One of these three we remember and the e-mail doesn't comes.Check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.

HI, I just got a Macbook Pro. It's great but my mail doesn't work at all. It will come up correctly, but take forever to download messages, then won't delete them, then won't save them to folders. Then when I go to quit mail it's like it gets stuck between quitting and not. I have to force quit, then restart my computer if I want to pull up my mail again. How can I fix this?
If you just got your new MBP you have phone support from Apple (which is quite good) call them. 800-692-7753 tell the automated answerer "mail technical support" you'll have human quite quickly. Hope this helps.

How come Mac Mail doesn't ding when new mail arrives?
My sound is on. Recently my Mac Mail doesn't notify me by sound when I have new mail. I'm running on 10.7.5.
I checked email several minutes ago. Activity Monitor now shows it as using 0% of CPU time. When that's the case it's now using any power at all. Every so often it will "wake up" to check for new mail. When that happens it will briefly use some CPU power. That interval can be controlled with the setting for "Check for new messages" in the General panel of Mail's preferences.
You didn't ask about RAM, but when Mail is idle I'd expect it put minimal demands on RAM. -
Can't send smartform to external mail address
Hi, everyone.
Now, after creating some self-defined smartforms, we want to send its
PDF copy to
our external mail address. From this point, I had some try.
Reference to SAP Library, I make a testing program named 'YPDF_TEST'.
However, one exception always exists when running and error message id
is 'XS806' - means
"No delivery to &, invalid recipient address"
I filled the address with following fields.
[ dev_mail_recipient-logsys = 'CLNT600'.
dev_mail_recipient-objtype = 'RECIPIENT'.
dev_mail_recipient-objkey = '[email protected]'. ]
I just can't understand the real reason why it doesn't work.
Through debugging, I found the error occurs when handling the following
codes
in function "SX_ADDRESS_TO_DEVTYPE".
[ swc_create_object o_recipient 'RECIPIENT' recipient_id-objkey.
swc_get_property o_recipient 'CommunicationType' m_recipient-type.
get_property_longvalue o_recipient m_recipient-address. ]
On the current situation, if can't come over this problem,
we may not build the connection and don't provide information in time.
Failed to send, I yet try another function - added the tail but on earthdidn't get it ~~~
Would you give me some hints or advice ?
Any help is appreciated.

You can follow a different approach. Send the output of the Smartform to the spool.
You have a Function Module to read the spool and convert it to PDF . Then there is one more function module to attach the PDF and send it as a mail.
You need to configure SMTP in Tcode : SCOT.
Search the forum with emailpdfattachment
You have umpteen postings available.

Internal mail size, External mail size
Hello,
I am using JMS 6.3!
One of my customer has 2 requirements
1. Can we have mail users who would be allowed to send mails internally only and some users allowed to send internally as well as externally
2. Can we have, users sending mails to have different message size limit to one sending externally. Ex: Internal mail size 5mb and External Mail size 2mb
Thanks in advance
Rajunicsguru wrote:
One of my customer has 2 requirementsWhilst these requirements may sound simple enough they can actually be very tricky to implement depending on the environment.
1. Can we have mail users who would be allowed to send mails internally only and some users allowed to send internally as well as externallyAre your email users able to send emails via controlled webclients such as UWC/Comms Express and Messenger Express or are they also able to upload emails using clients such as Mozilla Thunderbird?
2. Can we have, users sending mails to have different message size limit to one sending externally. Ex: Internal mail size 5mb and External Mail size 2mbPer-user quota's can be used to override the default quota sizes set on channels but it doesn't differentiate between the destination of the email.
http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/819-2650/6n4u4dtqp?a=view
"Source block limits can also be specified on a per sender basis by specifying a user LDAP attribute with the MTA option LDAP_SOURCEBLOCKLIMIT, and adding this attribute to the senders LDAP entry. Source block limits are also supported based on the senders domain. Specify a domain LDAP attribute with the MTA option LDAP_DOMAIN_ATTR_SOURCEBLOCKLIMIT, and adding this attribute to the senders domain LDAP entry. There are no defaults for either of these values."
If you wanted to apply the internal/external limits globally (as in the limit applies to everybody but certain users could 'override' with source-limits) you could to this by setting the default quota to 5MB (so this would apply to internal emails for example) and then set a 2MB blocklimit on the tcp_local channel so that 'external' bound emails get a greater restriction.

Sending from Business workplace to External mail ID
Hi,
Please Some help me on this issue am getting below error when am trying to send mail from Business Workplace to External Mail
Cannot process message , no route from SAPUSER TO abc123 at gmail dot com
I done configuration by refereeing below.
Please follow these steps:
1.) tcode = SCOT
2.) double click SMTP
3.) under "SMTP Connection" section, fill in your mail host IP(ex: webmail.sap.com) and the port number(25) and code page = No conversion.
4.) under "Supported address types", make sure Internet is checked, and click on "Set". The Address area has to be *
5.) To test route,
SCOT -->Utilities --> Routing test
RecipientAddr.type = INT
Recipient addr. = abc.xyz at sap dot com
6.) You also need to set the Default Domain.
SCOT --> Settings --> Default Domains (webmail.sap.com)
7.)Now go to tcode SBWP,compose a mail and in the recipient address, enter abc.xyz at sap dot com and send.
8.) Come back to SCOT and click on Utilities-->Start send process(CtrlF7) and execute.+
Thanks,

I just bought a new iphone 5 and when i plugged my phone it to the computer it told me i needed the new itunes so i downloaded it and then the new itunes wouldn't open without the software 10.6.8 or later. I have the 10.5.8 software. How do I downlowd the new software. It doesn't come up on software updates either.
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
An iPhone 5 needs iTunes 11, and iTunes 11 requires Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later, so upgrading to Snow Leopard will work.
First, check if your Mac is supported > http://support.apple.com/kb/sp575 If it's supported, buy Snow Leopard > http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
Then, you have to make a Time Machine backup and/or a clone with Carbon Copy Cloner onto an external disk. After that, you can upgrade to Snow Leopard, so insert the DVD and upgrade.
The DVD will install Mac OS X 10.6.3, so open > Software Update and install 10.6.8. You may need to run Software Update again in order to install iTunes 11 -
Certain mail won't come in off the server to my Mac Mail
Certain emails won't come in to my Mac Mail off the Time Warner Servers. (TW is intotally unhelpful and say it's my Mac Mail settings, even though some of the senders have come in before with no problem. Newer people have a hard time getting through, even though, I put them in the address book of both the TW server, and in Mac Mail.
I also set a preference to "allow" them in both filters section And I'll hear a "ding" when mail arrives from this person, but while I can go see it on the TW server, it doesn't come into the Mac Mail.
It's like it's trying (the ding) but what happens to the message?
thanks for any info you can give.
mzthanks for your help... but I've deleted all my iPhone mail accounts and reentered them. The phone then proceeded to re-download all the messages from the server...except for the same ones it wouldn't before! I'm mystified. I called ATT and they didn't know what to do either. Time Warner doesn't know either.
I've got them in my address books as well...
Any more ideas?
thanks -
Sending in Mail doesn't work, Entourage does, Why?
Sending emails in Apple's Mail doesn't work, yet Microsoft Entourage does, Why?
This is the conversation I've been having with my server tech, and they can't find the reason why I can send mail in Microsoft Entourage no problem, yet Apple Mail receives but not able to send any email what so ever..
Very frustrating.

I'm having a heck of a time trying to SEND emails on the SilverSpiritHomeServices.com system.
I'm using a Mac.
I can do it in Microsoft Entourage, yet I can't do it in Mac Mail (this is the program I need to be able to use).
Receiving email it works fine, just sending it only works in Entourage.

Hello,
That definitely seems odd. Since it works fine with Entourage, that would indicate the server is working properly. Additionally, I've tested the SMTP server from here (on a Mac) and am able to connect. I do not have a valid user to send email with, but I can try it if you want to provide me with the one you are trying, temporarily.
As always, if you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. Have a great day, and thanks for choosing Rackspace Managed Hosting!

Hello Carl,
Your server only supports CRAM-MD5 and PLAIN authentication. You will need to use plain text authentication. I have never configured mac mail so I do not know how to configure this, you may want to speak with someone a apple support if you have trouble.

# - You define $mydestination domain recipients in files other than
# /etc/passwd, /etc/aliases, or the $virtual_alias_maps files.
# For example, you define $mydestination domain recipients in

# - You redefine the "local_transport" setting in main.cf.
# - You use the "luser_relay", "mailbox_transport", or "fallback_transport"
# feature of the Postfix local delivery agent (see local(8)).
# Details are described in the LOCAL_RECIPIENT_README file.

# On Linux, this does works correctly only with interfaces specified
# with the "ifconfig" command.
# Specify "mynetworks_style = class" when Postfix should "trust" SMTP
# clients in the same IP class A/B/C networks as the local machine.
# Don't do this with a dialup site - it would cause Postfix to "trust"

For example:
if you specify:
virtual_alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual_alias, mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql_virtual_forwards.cf
you don't need this:
alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/aliases
and i think you have a lot of more options you don't need.
This is my main.cf on my vps and everything works great (sending and receiving emails from/to most common mail server: gmail, hotmail etc etc)

it is very simple (no dkim, no forced tls, no mailbox limits and so on) and it can be improved but it works..
as I suggested you just try spending some hour wiping postfix installation and giving a look to this guide -
External mail:attachement part....
Hai,
we have developed a workflow for sales order.Once sales order creation & approval done the mail should go to customer(external mail).
The below code(sample code got from internet & modified) is works fine .But do not want to send attachement. We want to remove attachement part from the coding.Ie we want to send only message, not attachement.
Any tips?

I updated Mavericks. Now Mail doesn't work. How do I cure that?
I updated Mavericks to 10.9.2 on my iMac, my Pro and my Air. Now mail doesn't work. When I click on a message, the message is blank (gray screen) and I get a message that "Mail quit unexpectedly". How do I cure that? And why did Apple release an update that crashes Mail -- on three separate computers!?
Linc--
Thanks for the advice. Sorry to be so late getting back to you, but dinner and sleep called. This morning finds me with the same problems. From the latest crash this morning (9:32) there were no messages after the crash. Here are the entire cotents (edited to remove identifiers of me) of the crash report. I hope greatly that you can help:

Domain name changes when sent to external mail ids
Here's the problem...
We are sending PO's as pdf's to the vendor..
If the vendor domain name is vendor.com and mine is company.com.
SAP sends a mail
To [email protected] ;[email protected]
CC : [email protected]
When the mail reaches the vendor it shows as
To [email protected] ;[email protected]
CC : [email protected]
the domain name of person2 gets changed though person2 does get the mail...and when the purchase manager at the company looks at it in his inbox - it looks as it should be.
I checked SOST it shows the correct mail id.This is not specific to a particular domain occurs with all domains .
Has anyone encountered such a problem before.
Regards
RaniHello Navjot,
if you have some basis background you can check TCode SCOT there you can see if the mail connect for external mails is configured correctly. There shoud be at least a node for SMTP communication. If there is such node check that sending s not restricted to certain adresses. Furthermore you could check over the menu if the default domain is set properly.
Kind Regards
Roman
