External Product catalog in B2C web shop

Hi All,
Can I use External Product catalog in B2C scenario. I have gone through the documentation & it states that External Catalog managment is supported in B2B scenario.
Can some one guide me whether we have to develop any custom interface for this.
Thanks & Regards.

  • Products in b2c web shop

    Hi
I am busy implementing a b2c web shop and and facing a problem that I hope someone can help me with.
My client has an established SAP ECC6 backend system running SAP retail. They create articles in ECC using transaction MM41. One article represents a product that can have multiple GTIN and units of measure for different pack sizes. When we replicate the products to CRM the product is created with the same article number, GTINs and units of measure.
e.g. 1 can of cola (EA), 6 pack of cola (CK), and 24 case of cola (CS) is 1 article with 3 GTIN.
I need to represent each GTIN as a separate product on the web shop although we only have 1 product in CRM. Is this possible?
    Regards
    Karl
PS. Please let ne know even if it is not possible.

A GTIN is assigned to the product together with a unit of measure. As more than one unit of measure can be specified for a product, this means a product can have more than one GTIN.
During an initial or delta download, EANs can be transferred from SAP ECC to SAP CRM as follows:
       (1)  Only the EANs corresponding to the EAN/UCC-8, UCC-12, EAN/UCC-13, and EAN/UCC-14 standards can be transferred from SAP ECC.
       (2)  As more than one EAN can be assigned to a material in SAP ECC per unit of measure but only one GTIN per unit of measure in the product master in SAP CRM, only the EAN with the Main EAN indicator is transferred.
So, 1 product with 3 UoM is what you will get.

  • Production B2C web shop sites

    Hi all,
I was looking to see if anyone could give me a URL of an existing B2C web shop that I can look at to see the software package in action. So far the demo sites that I have looked at have been extremely slow. Our e-commerce sites are currently in .net, and we would like to move to the web shop application, but what we have seen so far has been very disappointing performance-wise compared to our existing applications. We are currently migrating from a custom ERP to SAP and looking to convert four e-commerce sites to a CRM E-Commerce/Enterpirse Portal solution. Thanks.

  • External product catalog integration with SAP CRM

    Hi Forum,
I want to integrate a third party Java based product catalog with SAP CRM.
Currently, ISA is being used as the front-end.The CRM has a product catalog which is being used.
In place of this I want to add an external product catalog.
This is for a B2C shopping website. The user will browse through the external catalog and the selected products should be added to the shopping basket of ISA.
I'm aware that the Open Catalog Interface (OCI) is used for this purpose in B2B using SRM server.
Is there a similar interface for B2C applications?
    Aditya Karajgi

    Hi Pratik,
I dont think you understood my question.
What I want to implement is something like Open Catalog Interface (OCI) which is used in B2B implementations.
The catalog will be created by an open source content management system.
Product categories will be created and maintained using this system.
Users will browse the catalog and select products.
These selected products will be added to the shopping basket in Webshop.
We dont want to get into the complexities of using JCo or IDocs for this.
There should be some interface which is similar to OCI for B2C applications.
Thanks and waiting for ur response.

  • Pricing Totals not appearing in B2C web shop

    Hello All,
We are using list prices in product catalog and in B2C  web shop.
We are unable to see the pricing totals in the save order screen. The pricing totals and prices are appearing in in the back end(SAP GUI).
Could any one suggest where do we have to make the necessary settings?
    Thanks in advance,
    Sastri

    Dear Yanamandra,
If you are using list price your gross total also will be the same as list price.
And for this you have to switch off the IPC in XCM settings and have to replicate the catalog properly in TREX server.
Otherwise if you are using a customer pricing procedure to calculate the prices and there are other additional prices which have to be added to the list price at the time of pricing.
Then you should activate the IPC and also your VMC should be active in the CRM s/m, and also if you are using any customized user exit that also  should be implemented.
    hope this clarifies your doubt.
    Thanks and Regards

Our Basis team has installed the JAVA Stack for CRM 7.0 EHP1. We can successfully open the XCM page for the web shop using the following URL: http://host:port/b2c/admin/xcm/init.do.
We get a SAP E-Commerce Error page when we try to launch the B2C Web Shop using the following URL:

    An application error occurred
A serious system error has occurred
The shoplist read from buffer is empty
    Contact the administrator
    Log on
I have created the Internet B2C Users& specific roles and also done the XCM Configurations (New customer configuration, General Settings & JCO Component created). Restarted the Java Application. However we still get the same error page while launching the web shop. Please help us to rectify this error.

I can successfully open the URL for SHOPADMIN XCM: http://host:port/shopadmin/admin/xcm/init.do
Please help us to resolve the issue. How can we maintain the SHOP? Have we missed some configurations?

  • Interaction Center Mode functionality in B2C Web shop

    Hi,
We have a requirement in which sales rep of a company will pre-populate a shopping cart for the customer in B2C Web shop. Later customer can order that shopping cart.
We are trying to achieve this requirement through Call/Interaction Center Mode functionality.
If anybody has worked on this functionality before or has any idea, please share.
    Regards, Vipul Kumar.

    Hi,
I have configured the call center mode functionality in spro (Customer Relationship Management -> Web Channel -> Basic Settings -> Activate Links from CRM WebClient UI to Web Channel Applications -> Start Web Shop in Interaction Center Mode) with the help of information given on help.sap.com.
Now I can see B2C Web shop link on Web UI. The problem when I click on the link it's working if the URL in the backend is of google.com but not working for B2C Web shop. I think the problem is with the role assigned to the user.
If anybody has any idea, please share.

  • Second B2C Web Shop

    Hello,
My Project currently has B2B and B2C running.  Our business group would like to have a second B2C shop for special customers to use. This second B2C site would have a different catalog from the primary B2C site, but all the other functionality would remain the same.  I am new to the configuration side of things, and am not sure how to accomplish this.
Can someone recommend the proper approach to accomplish this, and possibly the documentation to accomplish this?
    Thanks!

I am just making it clear what Ashok has already told you to do.
You can actually define a new shop to achieve this. Shop takes the Product catalog and catalog variant as inputs and these two inputs in the shop define which product catalog is displayed in the B2C application. There is no need for another copy of this application at all.
Each shop has its own shop id. This shop id has to be passed as an URL parameter to the B2C application.

  • Customised look and feel for B2B/B2C web shop.

    Dear experts,
I would like to find out if there is an admin page for SAP E-commerce to customise the look and feel of the webshop?
    Thanks.
    Wein

    Hi Wein,
To change Look and Feel for Web shop is depends on scenario of eCommerce application i.e. B2B or B2C. B2B has different structure than B2C.
Web Channel application comes in SAP standard with SAP look and Feel. You have to change look and feel as per client requirement.
To change look and feel of Both B2B/B2C scenario you have to deal with files like CSS, JSP, Properties, XLF and some time you have to add your custom JAVA, JSP, CSS, Properties files etc...
To change standard SAP logo youhave to make change in CSS files. Also you have to consider Browser type while changing look and feel because to display your B2B/B2C application correctly in different browser you have to make changes in different CSS.
You will get better idea with example how to change look and feel in "Dev & Ext. Guide" for Web Shop. You will get this from Service Market place.

  • B2C web shop - change/remove the 302 redirects for google search

    Hi All,
We are making our webshop (http://hamperking.com.au) search engine friendly and implimenting a number of SEO recommendations.  One of these recommendation requires the removal of the "works as designed" 302 redirects (temporary) in our CRM 2007 shop.  Or atleast change them to 301 redirects (permenant).  As the 302 redirects are temporary, google will not give them priority.
Can anyone point me into the right direction as to the SC and DC where is config is made?
    Cheers,
    Vic

I can not answer your direct question, but am curious as to why you are not using the [Web Crawler|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1128832] to accomplish this or perhaps you were unaware of it?

  • How to attach PDF file to product catalog in Internet Sales R/3

    Hi Experts,
We are implementing SAP E-Commerce (Internet Sales) for mySAP ERP or SAP R/3, release 5.0.
I need to attach a PDF file to the product in the product catalog of the Web Shop. Some where in the documentation I have read that itu2019s possible.
I have created a document with following parameter:
    Document  2001 \ Document Type L01 \ Document Part  000 \ Document version  00
In that document, I have created one original with the following parameters:
    Applic.     PDF \ Data Carrier    isar3 \ Original      <WebServer folder>/SAP.pdf
I have assigned this document objects to the product as u2018Documentsu2019 in the product catalog. (through Tcode WWM2).
I have uploaded the PDF file to the correct Web Server folder.
But I CAN NOT see my PDF file anywhere in Web Catalog.
By the way, following the same steps I have also created another Document containing 2 original images:
    Document  2002 \ Document Type L01 \ Document Part  000 \ Document version  00
In that document, I have created 2 originals with the following parameters:
    Applic.     LIM \ Data Carrier    isar3 \ Original      <WebServer folder>/ Test_big.jpg
    Applic.     SIM \ Data Carrier    isar3 \ Original      <WebServer folder>/ Test_small.jpg
I have assigned this document objects to the product as u2018Documentsu2019 in the product catalog. (through Tcode WWM2).
I have uploaded the image files to the correct Web Server folder.
I CAN see the small and large image in my product catalog with out any problem.
Is it possible to attach PDF in this way? Am I making any mistake? Am I selecting the correct document type (L01) for the document?
    Please guide me.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Abir Kundu.

    Hi Abir,
SAP standard for R/3 E-commerce allows only SIM and LIM applications.
Any further requirements like PDF needs to be an enhancement on the product details JSP.
Also make sure you are storing the PDFs in the right location to retreive it on the product details.
    Thanks,
    Kiran Kanth.C
