Dear All,
I am sending IDoc from SAP R/3 to XI.In SAP R/3 (WE02) it shows IDoc with status 03 but when i check it in XI(WE02) it shows Status 56 and 60 with Error
56-External segment name E2LFA1M002 cannot be interpreted
60-Basic type CREMDM04 does not exist
I am sending CREMDM04 IDoc type with CREMDM Message type.

Hello Experts,
We have developed a scenario wherin ECC6 s/m sends a customized IDOC ZRESREVIDOC to PI 7.0 client 100.
On processing the IDOC in ECC6 the IDOC status is 03 (Idoc has been sent successfully) whereas in PI 7.0 WE05 transaction shows an error on this record that "56 - External segment ZRESREV000 cannot be interpreted". There are no records in SXMB_MONI however.
We have checked our ALE settings for RFC destination, port with client 100 etc on both ends. Also we have aleady imported the IDOC metadata in IDX2 of PI7.0. The configuration objects are also done in ID & IR.
Pls advice.

-->Check the Port which you had created in your PI system it should follow the naming convention like SAP+System id of ECC,and also check the RFC destination and client and logical system name which you had maintained in IDX1 t-code.

Internal & external Domain the same Cannot resolve Website

Since moving my website from internal to a external hosting provider, I cannot browse the website from inside my LAN
I have created the necessary A record with www and added the Public IP for the my website.
I have created a Delegation for the Zone in DNS and set it to my SOA dns server reported to me because the above would work.
I have seen this setup many times in other networks but i canot figure this one out.
I verified there was no RDNS record anymore from the ISP as that was causing a issue before

But I noticed, is that when I typed in
www.eveolutionimpressions.com, it redirects it to
http://evolutionimpressions.com/ .
This is because www.evolutionimpressions.com is a
CNAME for http://evolutionimpressions.com/ (without the www).
Therefore that concludes me to believe that's why internally you can't access the site. This is because no matter what you do, since evolutionimpressions.com, and the CNAME is always reverting it
http://evolutionimpressions.com, and your AD name is
evolutionimpressions.com, you are always accessing one of the internal DCs' LdapIpAddress. Note: each DC creates this record. You can't alter it!
How do you get around that? Not so simple. What I would normally suggest (disregarding the security implications), is to install IIS on each DC, then in the default website properties, create a redirect to
www.evolutionimpressions.com. HOWEVER, because the website is always redirecting to
http://evolutionimpressions.com due to the CNAME, it won't work, and will create a redirect loop.
I haven't seen this scenario before.
The simple fix I would believe and suggest to ask whomever created the public records for the site to
eliminate the CNAME and simply create two A records:
evolutionimpressions.com A 184.168.26.1
www.evolutionimpressions.com A 184.168.26.1
Then either always only use www in front of it, or do the IIS trick/workaround above. Here'a little tidbit - in the browser, simply type in
evolutionimpressions (without www or com), and then hit CTRL & <enter>, and the browser will add the WWW and COM to it.

Change segment name for Idoc created through BDBG transaction

hi all,
I have created a BO thru SWO1 transaction and then have used BDBG. Now for one of the segments in the IDoC which got generated automatically,i would like to change the segment name.This object was completed long time back and hence was released. Now we have been asked to get the segment name changed. But, when i try to click on the change button it says "the object has been generated and hence cannot be changed" Is there an work around for this? Pls reply. Thanx

i m facing following error while creating object dependency in variant config.

Message no. 28021
Diagnosis
The syntax check could not interpret part of your entry.
System Response
The cursor shows the start of the expression that could not be interpreted.
Procedure
Check the separator characters in your entry. In a condition, ensure that the individual parts of the condition are linked with logical operators such as AND and OR. In actions, the individual parts of the action must be separated from each other by a comma (',').
In constraints, if you enter several expressions in the sections RESTRICTIONS: or CONDITION:, the individual expressions must be separated by a comma.
You should also note that the only decimal point allowed in figures is a period ('.').

The postion of cursor denotes the patrt of syntex having error.
reason could be worng command or characterstic name or value etc
so check the syntex, pay special attention on spaces, "," etc.
otherwise paste your syntex in the post, so that some oen from forum can look into it.

Segment Name with extra information in WE02.

Hello SAPients!
I created an IDoc Extension for basic type WBBDLD04 and modified the corresponding BAdI. Everything works fine, the extra segment is correctly added and the information in the Segment is correct. The only problem I have is that in TCode WE02/WE05 the name of the segment appears with information of the first field.
Example: The segment is ZE1WBB1 but in the tree of the Tcode WE02 appears like ZE1WBB1 1024.00 or sometimes like ZE1WBB1 0.00. That extra information corresponds to the first field of the custom segment that I created (LABST in this case)
If I look in the table EDID4 everything looks perfect. The segment name is what it should be and the SDATA field has the correct information.
What am I doing wrong?

I found the problem, in WE31 I just had to remove the "Qualified Segment" Checkbox and Voila!

New install Express on Win 8 can see the Server name but cannot see the instance

I am doing this over the phone with a client who is not sure what he is doing we have installed Ok the folders exist and we have enabled TCP/IP
The instance is MSSQLServer when we try to connect all we get is 'ComputerName' I am expecting 'ComputerName \MSSQLServer'
The user does not have administrator rights and he installed SQL Server without the administrator (I think, I am not sure he knows)
I am looking for clues as to what may cause the instance name to not appear

Could you please verify that if the instance name is not listed in “Server name” drop-down list of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)? If so, does the instance list in the Local Servers tab in the “Browse for Servers” dialog?
If you cannot see the express instance in the Local Servers tab in the “Browse for Servers” dialog, the reason may due to SQL Server cannot get the appropriate registry entry information in the System Registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft
SQL Server\Instance Names).
To work around this issue, you can manually input the instance name which will be show in the Local Servers tab. Also make sure that right click on SSMS and then choose “Run As Administrator” to start it.
However, if the express instance is listed in the Local Servers tab in the “Browse for Servers” dialog, but not in the “Server name” drop-down list. Then if you have never connected with the instance name before, its entry will not listed in the drop-downlist.
Or if you have connected to server with a wrong instance name, you cannot see its entry the next time.

Initially, you asked if you can hardwire your MBA to the TC. The answer is yes, by using the optional USB Ethernet adapter that Apple provides. However, in order for your MBA to access the TC's internal or USB-attached HDD, it would need to establish a network connection to it. This would be true of any NAS device on an Ethernet network. Therein, lies the problem. Your MBA cannot connect to two networks simultaneously.
One option then, would be to have two separate iTunes Media folders; one on the MBA & the other on the TC. This way, you can download the music to your MBA when connected to the Internet at the AirPort lounge, and then use iTunes Consolidate Library feature to transfer the audio files to the TC's iTunes Media Folder location. A great program to help maintain multiple iTunes Librarys and/or Media Folders, that you may want to consider, is PowerTunes.

After specifying the external host name under outlook anywhere, users pop up for password

I have installed and configured exchange 2013 as a fresh installation on server 2012 and it worked fine till i changed
specifying the external host name under outlook anywhere(in exchange ECP -> Server -> server -> W12R2-Email2013).
My internal domain is starnavigator.lk and we have several accepted domains listed. but all the staff checked web mail through
mail.leoburnett.lk internally and externally. even now web mail is working fine.
After i added external host name as mail.leoburnett.lk
all the internal PCs start to pop up for user name and password and its not connecting.
even if I reversed back the settings, still prompt for user name and password. also auto discover cant locate the settings. if i configure the settings manually, i t works for first time and after restarting outlook, again prompt for name and password.Any
any advice or solution please??

After configuring outlook manually, run Test E-Mail Autoconfiguration and Connection Status and post the result.
Editing just an URL for OA shouldn't cause any issue.

Running AE CC 13.2 on iMac with Yosemite 10.10.2
I just started getting an error message when trying to import any number of ProRes 422 (HQ) files.
file ‘[file name].mov’ cannot be imported – this ‘MooV’ file is damaged or unsupported.
This happens approximately 90% of the time. There have been occasions where I can open and view files of this type.
I have gone through the various troubleshooting options here:

I reinstalled ProApps to no avail.
Permissions are fine.
Creative Cloud recently updated AE over the past few days. Perhaps this incremental update fouled something up? Last weekend, things worked perfectly fine.
I have also noticed that it takes a lot longer to load AE (since using last weekend). I have used Time Machine to roll the application back to last week's version to see if that helps.
Any insight is appreciated.

The update last week was just to Adobe Camera RAW and not really AE. It would be unlikely to cause the issues you describe. Have you tried turning your Mac all the way off and then back on again?
