External Table Problem - Need Urgent Help

Hi All,
I want to load flat file data to oracle database.
I have used external table feautre for loading data.
My data is like
"F","1","1","KIAWAH ISLAND rated off the pace, rallied to gain command on the far turn, then"
Now my problem is that fields are terminated with comma but there is a comma inbetween field values. please see last field value (i.e ", then" that is value of third field).
Now what access parameter should specify to create external table that maps to this type of data. I have used fields terminated by "," and Enclosed by '"' and '"".
but it still gives me error.
So, Please help urgently

I've currently been working on loading many external binary files (PDF) into BLOB column. After some digging, I learn that the SQL*LOADER can be used to load data from external files into table. I also got help from another forummate mentioning to use PL/SQL procedure to do so. Since I have not done anything like this before. So, my question is what is the simple approach needed to upload PDF files into a table(there is only one table containing BLOB column in my database). In addition, the LOBs can not be query-able, I wanted to list the contents of the LOBs column to make sure that I did successfully upload data into the database. How can I do that?. I do need your help. Please direct me step by step how to do so. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Once the PDF file is inserted in the PDM table, i am not able to read the PDF data from the below code, This code converts the binary data into the Character data i.e BLOB data into the CLOB, but still the data is not proper which is getting inserted PDF is proprietary format of Adobe. And you cant just read it from pl/sql. You need Adobe software installed in your client machine to view it.

Serious problem need urgent help

sorry to ask you directly to help me but I'm in trouble with my mobo.
My Pc is:
P4 2.2Ghz
Mainboard: MSI 845e Max2-Blr
Memory:512MBDDR(256Xms2700 Corsayr;256MB Seitec 333mhz)
Video:Abit GF4 Mx440
HD:60GB Deskstar IBM
OS:Win XP PRO
The problem is:
My computer worked fine until yesterday when the xms memory arrived.
I opened my Pc and put out the Seitec memory that I had to test the Xms memory. They went really good. Then I tried to put them together
but the computer didn't finish the boot process, it booted until the Win xp logon, so i tried to change the memory slots where the memory
were placed but nothing happened until when i mounted on the pc only the XMS2700 CL2 Memory module that funcioned before.
The computer didn't boot.The I saw that the leds on the D-bracket were all red, that means the Cpu is damaged or not installed properly.
I tried with the other memory stick but same problem.
Please help me as soon as you can.

Discrepancy in the table payr, need urgent help

Dear All,
i have one table payr in logical database.
2 fields of it i,e kunnr and vblnr
When i goto se16 and select the data for say kunnr = '2901350' and vblnr = '20002000'
Now what happens for this combination i get no data found.
but say i enter only vblnr = '20002000' i get teh outpur with kunnr '2901350'.
BUt at the time of selection i enter data i dont get it.
I also tried entering '0002901350' than to data is not coming.
when i entered in selection kunnr = '2901350*' then i get the output
PLease help me output it this is the problem with the conversion exit or not
how to resolve the problem

is the table being updated by any Z PROGRAM ,,
if so then in that program check whether the entries on kunnr and vblnr have used conversion alpha routine ..
if i dont use a routine on value 21220020 then if it is storing in the table as 21220020 then its a discrepancy cause it has to be stored as 0021220020 .
see if any database entry is like this which u have referred in the post .
if any one is missing(either on kunnr or vblnr) then its a data discrepancy problem for which u cannot handle with a select.

EBS-Interconnect Integration problem - Need Urgent Help

I am facing problem while trying to connect Oracle Interconnect with Oracle ESB using BEPL Plug-in feature.
I was actually going though one document on ESB-Interconnect integration and follow all the steps. It did create an entry to ESB console but not able to import Interconnect's BPEL Plug-in Application to ESB console (What I was expecting to get after completing ESB-Interconnect integration).
All step that I have covered are given below. Can someone help me ASAP. This is kind of a show stopper issue for me.

I see what you are saying. Actually, I have already thought about that Option (Creating an AQ in between so that Oracle Interconnect can write to and EBS can read from for a particular message). Thanks for reminding me about this.
I was just trying to see Oracle Interconnect's BPEL Plug-in capabilities. I will try to run "regadapters.bat / sh" few more time to see if it works this time.
Unfortunately, I don't know dutch but you can always send me what you wrote. I will try to translate the same using some translator.

Huge problem, need urgent help.

Here's the story:
I dropped my ipod touch and cracked the screen, the touch screen was working fine.
After fixing my screen, I attempted to connect the ipod to the computer to charge it and update my music/apps. However it would not recognise as a apple device on itunes but it would charge.
So I thought to solve this problem, i can just restore it to factory settings through the ipod but now whenever i turn the ipod on, the screen is just stuck at the apple logo screen with the loading wheel under it.
So in conclusion, is there any way i can fix it FOR FREE? or is the ipod just died.

No luck, the device is just stuck on the itunes + usb cable, it does not recognize on Itunes. Thank you though

8800 Scirocco Problem - Need Urgent help please an...

Got lots of pics and texts over the festive period and lots of those pics of my 18mth old son.
Noticed over last few days that the phone would take ages to come on after entering the PIN CODE which it accepted. Eventually the Menu screen came on though.
Today however the battery went so the I charged the phone as usual and then switched on . Screen lit up with NOKIA then requested my PIN CODE which i entered and this then said ACCEPTED and then the Nokia logo and music and then a lit screen and nothing. It stayed like that until eventually the screen light goes out. Then eventually it just switches off. Ive kept repeating this and pressing buttons after the Pin Code to no avail altho it will let me enter numbers on the screen but nothing else really.
Orange have arranged a replacement tomorrow night. What can I do to retrieve the contact names and numbers and all the photos I have and texts ? I will be so devastated to lose the pics of my little boy which are irreplaceable.
ANY HELP GRATEFULLY RECEIVED or is this a lost cause ?

If the data you want is held on the fone then you may have an issue if the fone wont even boot up.
How are you having it replaced.
ie: Are they sending you a replacement by courier with the faulty one being picked up at the same time ? if so it is lost.
A Nokia engineer may have been able to try and boot up the handset to try and recover the pics etc.
Try removing the battery for a few minutes to soft reboot the handset back up.... worth a try !

I really appreciate if anyone can help to guide me in solving my problem. My keyboard tends to freeze at the part where it says "Press any key to boot from CD". This limits me to do anything until I'm totally loaded into Windows. Thus, disable me to perform any formating and fresh installation of OS. However, the keyboards works fine at the begining of the POST and in BIOS. Is there any settings in BIOS that i should perform?.....
However, I realise in order to get through the foresaid message without the the keyboard freeze up is by keep on trying to boot up and shut down until it works (but only work once, then hv to try again), but this is not a solution as if what if I wanted to have 2 OS?... I cant use the keyboard to choose either of the OS installed. I have tried to change the RAM, change keyboard, use the build in VGA, or even remove the motherboard from the ATX casing - result: still have the same problem. What should I do??.. I have look around the forum for answers but there isnt any (I hope I didnt miss any). Is there any problem with my motherboard, or its BIOS, or any of the harware compatibility or etc..... what actually can I do?
I do not dare to perform any BIOS update Unnecessary (it seems that many have problems with BIOS problem in this forum) and moreover i think my BIOS is the most up-to-date. I cant find any new version in the net. Anyway I will check this topic frequently as possible to hope for any solution. What is the best solutions?

Have you ever done a hard factory reset of your Airport Express base? If not, then try it. Push down the reset button with a pen, then keep it depressed as you plug AX into the wall and keep holding it down until the green light blinks 4 times and then turns amber. Then let go. Unplug your broadband modem for a couple of minutes and shut down your Mac. First restart the modem, then the Mac. Use Airport Setup Assistant to set up a new network from scratch.
In System Prefs > Network > Show > Network Port Configurations drop n drag Airport to the top of the list and deselect all port configurations that you do not use.

I have somehow got green underline in text ads, pop up ads that come in from the sides of the screen and ads that pop up selling similar products all over the page wherever I go. Its getting worse and I have researched and researched to no avail. I am really hestitant to download any software to remove whatever it is that is causing this problem. I have removed and reinstalled chrome. I have cleared Chrome and Safari cookies. Checked extensions, there are none to remove. I need to find an answer on how to get rid of these ads. Help please!

You installed the "DownLite" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

The Installation Wizard hangs on the step: Domain Configuration (0%). The Creating Domain shows In progress.
The log under the Inventory directory shows me only following:

Can I install the OBIEE 10g version?I am not sure but i think OBIEE is not certified with windows 7. i could not find any MOS doc confirming same. Please log a call with oracle to confirm this.

Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
I never install system modifications myself, and I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.
Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickMyMac” (a hypothetical example.) First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickmyrmac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickMyMac.” If not, open “BrickMyMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.
You generally have to reboot in order to complete an uninstallation.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase and install OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
You may be advised by others to try to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name, or by running "utilities" that purport to remove software. I don't give such advice. Those tactics often will not work and maymake the problem worse.

Switch until release using keyboard...need urgent help

it seems like all i can do is press to ON and press again to OFF

This isn't possible because of the way operating systems
handle keyboard events. When you press a keyboard key, it does not register as
one key down. For whatever your operating system is set for as far as repeating
characters, it will register that many key down presses. The mouse works
differently, when you press the mouse it keeps that event "locked"
until you release the mouse. Because of this, you can not make a switch until
release using the keyboard; this definition is only for mouse clicks.
