Extra discount with combination of materials

Hi All,
I have a scenario, where I want to give an extra discount when I combine two material.
Example:
Customer XXX
Material A
Material B
Material C
Material D
When I sell material A or B AND material C or D to customer XXX, I want to give an extra discount 10%.
Any body has Idea how to map this scenario?

In Free Goods Condition Technique, while selecting feilds for tables select Material No field also.
And maintain condition records for the same.

please use condition exclusion process in pricng for this requriment.
if it is not satisfying your requriment then go for below solution.

This can be solved with the help of ABAPER.
Requirement-1. When material B1 , B2 & b3 order in combination with minimum quantity 10 then discount has to be given for all the materials.
Requirement -2. For Region say A1-in SO-material combination B1 & B2 excluding b3 then discount has to be given for both the materials b1&b2.
let me take an example and explain on this:
this can be resolved by a pricing routine logic is:
create a condition K004 & assign this routine there.
In sales order if material b1, b2 & b3 with MOQ or MDQ is equal to 10.
compare this with VBAP-MATNR, RV45A-KWMENG, VBAP-POSNR 10,20,30
= MVKE-AUMNG, MVKE-LFMNG = 10
add if condition saying that if VBKD-REGIO,VBAK-AUART & VBAP-POSNR 10,20,30 = MVKE-AUMNG, MVKE-LFMNG = 10 then exclude discount for B3and give only to B1 & B2.
Then trigger this condition type discount for all these materials.

Extra Discount in Marketing Documents - Formatted Search

Hello All,
I am trying to add a UDF for "Extra Discount" in the marketing documents. I have tried to attach a formatted search on the document total to calculate the final value after this extra discount has been specified. However, the formatted search doesnt work and I get an "Internal Error".
The scenario mentioned underneath will explain the requirement:
Default Option in SAP:
Customer C0001
Item | Price | Discount | Tax | Total
I0001 | 100 | 10% | VAT@4 | 90
Total 90
Discount 5% 4.5
Tax Amount 3.42
Doc Total 88.92
Requirement:
Customer C0001

Is it possible to have this scenario mapped in SAP Business One using formatted search without using SDK/Customization?

Hello Jimmy,
The client wants the extra cash discount to be visible on the invoice itself. I have tried creating the UDFs and assigned appropriate FS to them to change the document total. However, the issue is that the moment the document total is affected, the discount (available by default in marketing documents footer) automatically gets changed proportionally!
So, for eg. if an invoice is for 1000 USD and I give a discount (system field) of 10% to a customer and 5% as cash discount (UDF), with the help of FS, the invoice amt automatically gets changed to 850 USD but the discount field also automatically gets changed to 15%!
This is the inbuilt functionality of SBO - so if someone can help me overcome this, I will be very grateful.

Will Tablet case with combined keyboard work on Lenovo Ideapad A1 07

Hi All,
Sorry if anyone has asked before but couldn't find specific.
My wife has recently purchased a Lenovo Ideapad A1 07 for its size, a friend who has a small android tablet also recommended to her, to buy a tablet case with combined keyboard with USB connection from amazon. When received the connection obviously doesn't fit, so I started searching around web for an adapter for it, but I’m seeing conflicting info that the ideapad either does/doesn't support USB data transfer connection point, so before buying an adapter what is correct!.
Can anyone throw some light onto whether Lenovo will update the firmware to be able to use USB at any time or has anyone have a work around. Any help and advice to get this keyboard working would be grateful as the tablet is a great little device for her.

If you are patient, go through the reviews of a specific USB keyboard that was suggested as an addition for Lenovo A1 by Amazon: You will see that even though users have tried different cables and adapters, no A1 user has managed to get this working on his tablet.
This issue may be solved by a future upgrade (if any), which will enable the USB OTG feature of the microUSB port of the A1 tablet. Until then, nothing can be done in order to have any USB device identified and working with A1. I really hope that I make a mistake here and that someone will come up with a working soultion for this issue ...

PR with combination of item category B = limit, and account assignment : F

I have maintained the B and F combination in the customization.
But when I am creating the PR using item category B with account assignment F (order) and after pressing enter, this account assignment F vanished from the PR and that field also turns in to gray mode. So system is not allowing to use u2018Fu2019 with B item category.
Have you used or tested this scenario of using combination item category B with account assignment F (order) in PR and PO.

Workflow doesn't determine WBS owner for SC with Combination of CC & WBS

Dear Friends,
We had an issue in SRM 7.0 workflow that workflow is not determining Project Manager as approver for the SC created with combination of cost center and WBS element, instead Worklfow is triggering to CC Manager for WBS line item. If SC created with single item with WBS element then it is fine. The workflow problem comes when the SC created with combination of CC & WBS only.
Can anobody throw some light on the issue.

Check if workflow is at all getting activated for this SC using SWI6.
If you are using Process controlled workflow, check SLG1 logs for evaluations of your bRF expressions whether the schema and process level are getting activated or not....
One more thing, check whether Object Type LInkage is active or not in SWE2

When saving files under options the file name is duplicated how to remove extra folder with the same name

Under Firefox Options I clicked Saving Files under Downloads but the file name appears twice and an extra folder with the same name is created within the folder i.e.:
G:\Akbar's Songs\HAMARA FORUMS DOWNLOADS\HAMARA FORUMS DOWNLOADS
As you can see the folder is repeated, how can I correct this?
Also the music files I download from a site downloads as WinRar file and I need to open it. Is there an option where the files open automatically in the folder I have selected?

The "beta" version is for testing and may be more prone to problems, so I suggest trying the regular version (9.20) even though it hasn't been updated since 2010.

Importing MS Word into PDF adds extra page with document info

I am still evaluating Acrobat Pro, including Life Cycle Designer to create Forms, currently testing converting existing forms made in MS Word to PDF. There is someting that I do not know how to resolve is when I import files from MS Word, an extra page with details info about the document is copied as well. It contains info such as number of pages, author, date of creation etc....20 lines of info.
This becomes akward when inserting the document into an existing pdf...or just create a new form from the Word document....adds the extra page ..
Is there a setup somewhere that I could modify to not have the extra info? or how do I delete it? I try to select the text but cannot (within life cycle)

If you are importing into Designer, you should ask in that forum. If in Acrobat, then you might try printing the WORD document to a PDF first and importing the PDF. However, with Acrobat you will not get the form fields that you are preserving with Designer.

Estimation in Projects with reference to materials and expenses

Dear Experts,
Currently am undergoing a project implementation for a manufacturing industry also a construction firm. The client has a specific requirement from project system. They get a various constructions projects inquiry (they also deal with this scenario) based on that they want to calculate the material's cost, processing time for that project as well as the project general expenses. Based on this they want to trigger the estimation for the client. Also they want to calculate analytical estimation of the project.
Could anyone explain me how to encounter this scenario in PS. As this is a challenging task i would require your expertise.
Can we do estimation from PS with reference to materials, resource as well as expenses.
Is this something to do with cProjects?

Subcontracting With Variant Configuration materials

Hi
Trying to use the subcontracting process with variant config materials. The goal is to be able to select differnt BOM materials based on selection procedures from the BOM. Current testing shows that the proper item cat does not appear in the Purchase Req. I believe this is affecting the functionality. We have the special procurment key of 30 selected in the material and a BOM with selection procedures to pick the proper Bom material. Please advise if this can be done and if so how to go about it.

Hi,
I have table A with columns col1, col2, col3.
I have 4 distinct values for col1 (d1, d2, d3, d4).
I have 2 distinct values for col2 (e1, e2).
I have 3 distinct values for col2 (r1, r2, r3).
I need to write a SQL to populate table A with combination of of all the values, so I would have 24 records (4 * 2 * 3). How can I do that?

Do normal DVD extras come with a season bought on itunes?

When you buy a physical DVD from the store it generally comes with an extra disc with bonus features. When I buy a movie or season on itunes, I am wondering if it comes with these same extras. If it doesn't I'll just go buy them at the store.

So why won't Apple do not manufacture keyboard with combined trackpad?
Same size like numeric keyboard, but without numeric buttons and model with wire or wireless, i'm just curious why they haven't manufactured this kind of product yet.
I have iMac Early 2008 (Upgraded with 128 GB ssd) and Macbook air 2014, sometimes i feel odd carrying separately keyboard and mouse if i want to plug my macbook with IPS display, so it would be lot help if they were combined.

Pamment, to resolve this issue you need to disable the "Printer Status Notifications" in the printer driver settings.
To do so, assuming you are using Windows 7, the first thing you need to do is go into your control panel.
Once there, select "view devices and printers" under "hardware and sound".
Right click your printer and select "properties" or "printer properties".
Select the "device settings" tab and there you should see the option to disable "printer status notifications".
