Hi,
If the table is BKPF then the object is BKPF, FIPP or similar. If you look in transaction SWO2 and find object BKPF it is under the area "Financial Accounting". If you then goto PFTC and enter Workflow Template for Task Type and then F4 on Task and select Structure search, goto the area Financial Accounting and you will see all the workflow templates available.

    Saved word documents have dissappeared from the desk top after saving. Problem seems to occur when laptop is switched off and then re-started. they can't be found anywhere e.g tried spotlight, recent documents etc. Help. Joe

    First, you might as well address the two apparently-minor issues you found:
    Some info on the Epson Scanner Monitor (via searching these forums):
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8272208&#8272208
    Not sure about the MS Word message, but it looks like you might need an upgrade. I'd check with Microsoft, or perhaps VersionTracker.com.
    Ok, back to the original problem. Does the message have any other text (intelligible or not)?
    Does it give you any options, especially "report"? If so, take it, then look via Console for a crash log.
    What IS in the system log for the sleep/wake time? There should be a System Sleep, followed by a System Wake, and perhaps another line or two. Anything in that area might be helpful.

  • Msi 790gx-g65 wont post after shtting off the night before

    Tried turning it on this morning only to find out it wont post. Symptoms are....
    1. Everything powers on, Fans. and all. but you cannot shut it off while holding the powerswitch in 4sec's.
    only by unplugging the powersupply
    2. All phase lights come on except for the #2 from the left #X###.
     Only thing I can think of is it could either be the CPU of motherboard. I have already ruled out PSU Video And Memory since I took out the memory and didn't get any error codes at all, I have already done the out of the case test and reseated the CPU along with only using one stick of memory with the same exact results. this CPU worked alright but seemed to be a little on the hot side since I got it. could this be a dead CPU? HM.. I Don't know? you're opinions are greatly appreciated..thank you.

    You used too much compound....only a tiny drop is enough....in fact so much that you hardly see it...
    It has to be that little, as without it could function better, no joke.
    Only about a grain of rice give or take. Im buying a new motherboard. since the onboard video will not even work, I am confident that its the board. I have always bought MSI Motherboards but all were intel untill now. Seems that i may have gotten a faulty board. Its also been more than 30 days and I would have to send it back to msi and I doubt they would even take it back since I have put afterarket cooler on it. I'm sure they would blame me for it going bad. From the first day I seen high temps on this board, its not MSI's fault either.Thats just how things go. Maybe ill have more luck with the next board.

  • Write off

    Ability to offset auto write off.
    We need to see if a write-off payment comes back from the patient say after a year.  If customer pays back after write off is done. we want to reverse write off.
    Thanks
    Nik

    Configuration is available only for creating reserve for bad debts, probably this is more a common across the industry. This is done through OB04 and OBXD. There is nothing specific for writebacks. Only thing you may want to ensure it if you set the config for reserve for bad debts, make that GL account also to Supplement auto posting. Whe you receive the money back from the written off customer, the bank statement import would probably post to the customer account 'on account". You can use F-30, 'transfer with clearing' transaction to remove the credit from the customer and credit the provision account.

  • Asset Write-off after retirement

    Dear Masters in Asset Accounting,
    I have a situation where I have to write off the asset in secondary ledger (Ledger A2). The problem is that the asset retirement (ABAVN) was done in the past so I can't write-off the same by using T-code ABSO. Also, we are posting the depreciation to that asset since last 5 months, so I can't write-off by using FB01 / FB01L.
    Is there any other way I can write off the asset after retirement only in secondary ledger?
    Thank you for reading this and your help.
    Jay

    Hi Bernhard,
    Why you can't make a write-off?
    A: Because it gives me an error message. When I try to use ABSO, it gives me an error message saying Asset retirement has alredy been posted so transaction not possible. I am using ABSO because I want to make changes only in ledger A2 (secondary ledger / US GAAP). I can't ABAVN again because it will affect both the ledgers which I want to change only US GAAP.
    Is the asset deactivated after ABAVN?
    A: No, the asset is not deactivated. It is still active and in use.
    Thank You,
    Jay

  • Post Write-off from Disputes with Approval Process

    Hi,
    we want to post write-offs using the dispute escalation process. before the write-offs are posted they need to go for approval. is there any functionality within dispute mgmt which can be leveraged to post write-off from the dispute with approval

    Hi,
    When you set up the escalation proces with reason code write off you can do it in two ways. Set up a Workflow for the approval process. Escalations are specifically meant for that. This is possible with the standard workflow.
    If you want to work w/o workflow. Then you can have the responsible person go into UDM_disputes query all specific escalation reason and e.g. change status or maybe create a different escalation reason. (E.g. Write off request/ Write off granted)
    You can check if you can change the roles that certain functions can only set certain reasons.

    Richard

  • Park Asset Write Off Posting

    Dear SAP Gurus,
    Can anyone help me with one of the Asset scenarios, whereby the user wants to have the option to park the asset write off first before making the actual posting. I can't seems to find any function available for this. If not, can anyone suggest if there's other way to resolve this.
    Thank you very much. Your advice is much appreciated.

  • Write off FICA documents with no segments after New GL has been activated

    Hi Gurus,
    The scenario we are facing is as follows"
    The client had already implemented FICA as part of its legacy, but SAP FICO was not implemented. As part of the new framework, we are implementing SAP FICO as well, while at the same time New GL is now being activated.
    All ancillary configurations have been maintained for deriving profit center/segment information on main and sub transactions through use of CO Account assignment key.
    Issue:
    The issue we are facing now is that, while writing off (FP04) any FICA document which has a profit center/segment information, we are able to write it off. But any FICA document which does not have segment information, we are getting the error "Segment Missing"
    Probable Solutions:
    1) Tried maintaining the  value as "2" (Account Assignment) at the following node:
    FICAIMG-->Business transactions--> Define specifications for Write-offs
    This solution did not help us in writing off the FICA document
    2)Custom logic in event 5030?
    Custom logic can be maintained in the FM at event 5030, where we should be able to derive the profit center/segment info. based on the business area
    Please let me know if any other options can be tried and also if the custom logic at event 5030 should help us resolve the write off issue?

    Hi, I have the same laptop and had the same problem.
    I have solved it by adding the following arguments to the kernel command line:
    acpi_osi=Linux acpi_backlight=vendor
    Note: acpi_osi only did the trick, but then the backlight service fails. acpi_backlight fixes the service.

  • IS-Telecommunication RMCA - FI-CA Write offs

    Dear All,
    This is related to IS-Telecommunication. FI-CA
    Scenario: Invoice has been posted with 1121 $ including tax of 121. It means..
    Customer account    1121  Dr
    Revenue Account 1000 Cr
    VAT on sales 121 Cr.
    When I am trying to do the write off(FP04 by using reason codes). System is posting the document as below:
    VAT on sales account 121 Dr
    Expense account   1000 Dr
       To Customer Account 1121.
    I would like to transfer the total amount to the expense account instead of transfer to VAT account, if I use some specific reason codes (Like Bankruptcy).
    Expected account entry:
    Expense account 1121
    to Customer account 1121.
    I found there is a event 5070 (Write-off: Tax Special Features ) in order to meet the above requirement.
    If any one knows about the requirement and solution. Please advise.
    Thanks in advance
    Ravi

    HI Ravi,
    path is
    SPRO > Financial Accounting > contract A/R A/P > Basic functions > particular aspects of taxation procedure > tax adjustment for write offs
    or
    Tcode
    FQZ04T
    or
    FQC0 and type the posting area .
    thanks,

  • How to resolve the hang-up of TNT4882 after write-transfer

    Hi,
        My GPIB device based on TNT4882  can correctly receive the data sent from my VISA app using viPrintf, and my GPIB device can also write data to my VISA app using viRead through GPIB, like "Acery,XXXXX,xxxxxxxxx,2.5-5.20-23". But Everytime my VISA app always poped up an TIMEOUT error on the function of viRead and I showed the maybe receiving data, my VISA app can show the correct data "Acery,XXXXX,xxxxxxxxx,2.5-5.20-23". Not only the VISA app pops up the TIMEOUT error, but also that my gpib program running on my device could not detect the termination condition like END,EOS,ERR,B_done,B_tlcint after it sent out the data .  I have no idea on how to solve this problem so far.
        The GPIB program for sending out data  in Programed I/O mode is coded following the example of ESP-488 (http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/223/lang/en) in the dir of ESP-488\NOTNT\NGPIB_IO.c and EX5.c)  as an example. I cannot find any defect about the register programming.
    Now I would show the write-data code sequence:
             When I detect the TNT4882 is in Talker mode from ADSR, I will call the initializing writing code for writing-data-transfer:
    TNT_Out(R_cmdr,F_resetfifo);
      TNT_Out(R_cnt0, (char)(twos_cnt));      /* Load twos compliment count     */
      TNT_Out(R_cnt1, (char)(twos_cnt>>8));   /*  into TNT count registers      */
      TNT_Out(R_cnt2, (char)(twos_cnt>>16));
      TNT_Out(R_cnt3, (char)(twos_cnt>>24));
      TNT_Out(R_imr0,B_glint);              /* Set write to imr0 to be sure   */
      TNT_Out(R_auxmr,HR_auxrj|0);          /*   B_to is cleared              */
      TNT_Out(R_imr1, B_err);         /* End transfer on err            */
      TNT_Out(R_eosr, 0);        /* Set EOS byte                   */
      TNT_Out(R_auxmr,HR_auxra|F_hlda)
      TNT_Out(R_cfg , (B_tlchlte | CCEN ));  // I don`t set time-out attribute.
      TNT_Out(R_auxmr,F_hldi);               /* Hold off immediately           */
      TNT_Out(R_cmdr, F_go);
    During the writing-data-transfer, I use the status of END|EOS|ERR|B_done|B_tlcint to
    control the data transfer. All the data is written to FIFOB for sending out.
           After aborting transfer of writing:
     TNT_Out(R_cmdr,F_stop);
     TNT_Out(R_cmdr,F_resetfifo);
     if(TNT_In(R_isr1)&B_end)                /* If we received an END          */
        TNT_Out(R_auxmr,F_clrEND);            /*   Clear status bit             */
     if(TNT_In(R_isr1)&B_err) {
        TNT_Out(R_auxmr,F_clrERR);            /* Clear error bit                */
     if(io_type==OUTPUT) {
          TNT_Out(R_hssel,F_onechip|B_go2sids); /* if error set to idle state.    */
    Now I showed up some registers of TNT4882 during different phase.
    registers after initialization of write-transfer and before write-transfer:
    isr0 0x21
    isr1 0x0
    isr3 0x48
    adsr ox4a
    sasr 0x70
    sts1 0x10
    sts2 0x9a
    bsr  0x21
    registers after write-transfer:
    isr0 0x21
    isr1 0x2
    isr3 0x48
    adsr ox4a
    sasr 0x70
    sts1 0x10
    sts2 0x9a
    bsr  0x21
    registers after a few seconds(TNT was still Talker):
    isr0 0x21
    isr1 0x0
    isr3 0x48
    adsr ox4a
    sasr 0x70
    sts1 0x10
    sts2 0x9a
    bsr  0x31
           After write-transfer, my device program cannot detect any condition of ERR,END,EOS,DONE,TLCINT in
    isr0,isr1,isr2, isr3 to do the post-termination action.
           As you can see, some registers above almost donn`t change. I really donn`t know how to solve the
    TIMEOUT problem and how to notify my VISA app that the transfer is completed.
           At last could you give me an example of how to initialize the write-transfer?

    Can you try below, maybe it is helpful for you:
    This error may occurs when the interrupt line (IRQ) of the AT-GPIB/TNT interface is not configured properly. This incorrect configuration makes it so that the interrupts generated by the GPIB hardware are not detected by the GPIB driver. The GPIB hardware cannot notify the software that any operation is complete. Make sure the appropriate IRQ value was used when installing the module:
    If you are using a non plug and play AT-GPIB/TNT, make sure that the jumper settings match the value used when configuring the driver module.
    If you are using a plug and play AT-GPIB/TNT, make sure the value in the file generated by the isadump utility matches the one used when configuring the driver module.
    In both cases, if the appropriate IRQ value was used when configuring the driver module, try changing the IRQ value used. Remove the module and re-install with the new resource settings. For more information on configuring the resources for plug and play AT-GPIB/TNT interfaces, refer to the README and README.PNP text files included with the nigpib package.

  • Asset write-off in prior month.

    Is it possible to write off assets from an earlier month end date e.g the NBV of assets with a month end date of 31/05/09 or can you only write off within the current month?
    If this is possible, how will SAP deal with the depreciation and how will it charge any depreciation posted after that date?

    Hi Jeremy Lumb
    Yes you can retire an asset in prior period where depreciation has already been posted. The system will recalculate the total depreciation for year in the retirement year and make adjustments (positive value) in the next period. You can then run depreciation again so the adjusted value will be posted .
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks

  • Write off assets

    What is the best method to write off assets to 0, This means I want to accelerate depreciation so that the asset net value reaches 0. But I <b>do not</b> wat to retire the asset.

    Post unplanned depreciation in the amount of the current net book value.  Keep in mind that this will take affect after depreciation is run (it is not an FI document) and will therefore show the asset as being fully depreciated.
    There are some other ways (using special depreciation transactions) but this is the one most widely used.
