Extra microphone options under windows 7

Hi, i have a creative soundcard PCI Express X-Fi Titanium Fatalty Pro Series, and on the newest drivers it says that it adds
Adds?Silencer, a noise-cancelling?technology for use?with Creative Fatalty Professional Series Gaming Headset MK II.<
Adds?VoiceFX, a voice-morphing feature.<
I got them in windows vista, but why cant i get them in windows 7? any ideas? need to no asap, as i was ment to be? hosting a party, and need these options!!

,_ I got these options by using the newest drivers available on the Creative Labs' site located here......
I then ran the software auto update, and I noticed that it says for CONSOLE Launcher 2.6.30, that it adds new audio features, such as "SILENCER....." etc, exactly as you were looking for. This update is also for Windows 7. Sounds like you might have a plan.........
and here is the link.........http://support.creative.com/downloads/download.aspx?nDownloadId=056
This is also what I use in Windows 7 and Vista 64.

  • How to get Ant option under windows- Preferences in Eclipse Luna?

    Hello Eclipse Support,
I switched from Eclipse Kepler(windows 64-bit) to Eclipse Luna(eclipse-cpp-luna-SR2-win32-x86_64.zip) and I see that Ant option is missing under windows->Preferences.
    I tried this way:
I saw there was an Apache ant(eclipse\plugins\org.apache.ant_1.9.2.v201404171502) plugin in Eclipse-Luna package like in Eclipse-Kepler.
I tried to install it through Help->install new software. I was unsuccessful even by giving local path point to the plugin directory of eclipse - it showed error msg stating "could not find file at the location that I had selected"
    or
the path from apache-ant website(followed the instructions available in ant website to install).
Could you please let me, whether I am doing wrong and If yes, then what are the right steps to acheive this?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Rashmi

    Hi,
I found the answer within the eclipse forum.
My beginning search was not optimized and so, could not reach this post.

  • U330p touchpad too few options under Windows

    Hey,
I bought my u330p some days ago and can't get my touchpad correctly working under Windows.
The problem that I have is that I want to use a 2-Finger tap as right-click and a 3-finger tap as middle click. I'm using the Elantech driver from the driver site from lenovo, but I had to manually select Elantech because the installer would do nothing.
    So I had to go to C:/drivers/Touchpad Driver(Synaptics, Elan)/ELAN
    and then install that.
The problem with these drivers is that there is no option for 2-finger tap or 3-finger tap, only clicking.
I'm using Windows 8.1, I also tried the driver under Windows 7 same result.
Then I installed Ubuntu and that worked without a manual driver download. So Is there a way to get the touchpad working like I want it to under Windows? Because there kinda has to be when linux dev's got it working.

I already tried that but sadly it doesn't work. Weirdly enough it isn't even the right driver, because in the device manager it shows as Microsoft PS/2 mouse, but when the driver is correctly installed it should show Lenovo pointing device.
After all that experimenting with my drivers, I can't get back to a working touchpad... Now not even 2 finger scroll works.
Edit: I kinda know why scrolling with 2 fingers doesn't work anymore. The Driver-Software has a yellow triangle with a !
And if I go into the Elan tab under Mouse the device doesn't show up. Has anyone a idea how to atleast go back to where I was?
I tried uninstalling the driver/ or using a earlier version, not the actual Software but the driver itself in the device manager.

  • Photoshop CS3 has no Print Option under Windows 7 64 bit

Owing to a severe power problem with my old desktop I have had to buy a new desktop PC, which has Windows 7 64 bit installed. My previous desktop has Windows XP.
I have successfully installed CS3 and have been able to open and manipulate images but when I come to print anything the Print option(s) are all grayed out! The options I am talking about are:
    Page Setup
    Print
    Print One Copy.
    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Hi John,
I did nothing out of the ordinary when installing CS3 (that I know of). I don't recall being presented with options that gave me cause for concern.
This problem occurs when I run CS3 ordinarily and also when I right click and run it as an Administrator.
I'm a little wary about installing an emulator on top of my 'nice clean installation'. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet though. I'll definitley follow through on your link to the MS XP emulator.
    Thanks.

  • When to use the -clusterable extra rmic option?

              Hi,
We are trying to do a clustered deployment on the WLS 701. I am trying to figure
out all the things that need to be on for clustering to work successfully. Currently
I am focused on the EJBs. Here is what I have found:
o For remote SLSBs there is no need to specify home-is-clusterable in weblogic-ejb-jar.xml
because the default value is true?
o For remote SLSBs there is no need to specify is-clusterable in weblogic-ejb-jar.xml
because the default value is true?
o For Entity Beans is-clusterable doesn't make sense?
o For local Entity Benas home-is-clusterable doesn't make sense?
o Are the options for home-is-clusterable and is-cluterable enough or do we have
to specify -clusterable as extra rmic option under ejbc options?
              Thank you so much,

    Hi,
How are you doing? Is anybody out there using the -clusterable
              option? Why?
Does the option make sense even if the both the JSP/Servlets and EJBs
are deployment on the name node?
              Thank you so much,

I have Windows XP Pro as my Bootcamp option under Snow Leopard which works very well indeed.
I would like to upgrade to Lion but am concerned re its lack of support for Bootcamp Windows XP
Can I upgrade to Lion and boot into my old Windows XP BootCamp partition as I do at present OR
must I buy Windows v7 and install under the new Bootcamp system.
Also what happens to my Snow Leopard Time Machines backups - can I see them under Lion?

  • Built-in microphone not working (or extremely silent) under Windows XP

The built-in microphone works great on my iMac under OS X 10.6.
However, it does not seem to work under Windows XP, using BootCamp. Is there any way to fix it?

    Hi again, Hariharan
If you right-click on the first selection in the image (the microphone) and select Properties, you should be able to see the driver in formation on the Driver tab in the new window. Can you list the driver Provider, Date, and Version? Also, how long have you had the machine, and how long was the microphone working properly before this issue began?
    Thanks in advance,
    Adam

  • Why is extension not a drop down option for me under window (window extension) in Illustrator CC 2014?

Why is extension not a drop down option for me under window (window > extension) in Illustrator CC 2014?
I need to open an extension I have downloaded and added to the Adobe Extension Manager CC but the extension option on the window drop down is not present.

SUCCESS!! I figured out that you need the Application Frame option checked in order to achieve the layout I like. Silly me.

  • Extra option under iPhone 5's photos in Verizon store

iPhone 5 in 2 Verizon stores have an extra option under photos. Faces. On my iphone 5 I only have albums, photo stream and places. The employees at Verizon had no clue! I'm wondering if this only happens when connected to a Mac? Or does my iphone 5 have the ability to detect faces and put them into separate albums?

When syncing photos with iPhoto on a Mac, you have the option, under the Photos tab in iTunes, to sync Faces.

  • X230T graphics performance under Windows 8

My Thinkpad originally came with Windows 7 Pro, but I have changed to Windows 8 in order to resolve problems with VSS.  OOB, both Windows 7 and Windows 8 gave me a "Desktop graphics performance" rating of 5.7.  Under Windows 7, upgrading to the latest Lenovo driver improved this to 6.1, leaving my HDD (at 5.9) as the limiting factor in performance.  Under Windows 8, however, replacing the Windows driver with the latest Lenovo driver has reduced "Desktop graphics performance" to 5.6!  What gives?
P.S. I just discovered a Power Options advanced power setting "Intel Graphics Power Plan", which was set to "Maximum Battery Life" for both battery and plugged in.  I changed it to "Maximum Performance" when plugged in, but the Windows experience Index (WEI) for "Desktop graphics performance" remains a mer 5.8.

  • Firefox 6 running under Windows 7 64-bit does not render fonts correctly.

The default sans-serif font for Firefox is Arial. Running Firefox 6 under Windows 7 32-bit, the font renders properly, but under 64-bit Win7, the font is too heavy, and bold or strong makes no difference. I run Win7 64-bit on a laptop computer and use Firefox 5 on it, and the fonts render properly. Possibly a Firefox 6/64-bit problem?

Hi strangerland, don't give up hope -- I'm using Firefox 36.0.4 on Windows 7 right now.
That said, I understand troubleshooting fatigue and when you find time to think about Firefox again, and have the opportunity to shut down and restart Windows, you might try testing in Windows Safe Mode with Networking, a mode that blocks some external programs that can interfere with Firefox.

  • Using scripting with networking equipment under Windows

It can be a challenge to use scripting to automate working with Cisco devices. The Cisco IOS does not seem to directly provide a command line interface. You are forced to find a way to automate interaction with a telnet or ssh session.
The PERL language provides a number of object-oriented methods to help manage an interactive session, most notably Net::SSH::Expect and Net::Appliance::Session. These options can work well in a Unix environment, but not under MS Windows.
There are PERL for Windows options, the best probably being Strawberry PERL. There is also a Unix under Windows option known as CYGWIN that is freely available. Unfortunately none of these will work well with the way Windows manages low-level terminal I/O. The curious can google "windows pseudo terminal" to see all the technical details.
One way that does work under Windows is Tcl.  It was initially named Tool Command Language. It is sometimes shown as Tcl/Tk.
Interestingly enough, Tcl is included within Cisco IOS as tclsh. There is no interaction with the tclsh and this example. It is just a bit of a curious coincidence.
A Tcl port to Windows can be downloaded from http://www.activestate.com/activetcl/downloads. Select Download ActiveTCL for Windows. A direct link to the download that worked at the time of writing is Download ActiveTcl 8.5.14 for Windows (x86)
Once base Tcl has been downloaded and installed there is one other component that will need to be installed from the Tcl Extension Archive, the expect package.
The teacup program that is installed with the base Tcl package makes this easy. The teacup program will work with a proxy.
You can set these Windows environment variables to specify proxy details:
    set http_proxy=
    set http_proxy_user=
    set http_proxy_pass=
    Then run teacup install expect
The plink tool from the PuTTY download is also needed. It can be obtained from http://www.putty.org/.
The sample that follows assumes that the data files, script and plink.exe executable all reside in the same directory.
A sample Tcl script follows that reads a file of devices and a file of commands. It will run the list of commands against each device in the device file. It has some basic error checking, but should best be considered a ‘beta’ version. You could do more complex interactions in the Tcl script by adding exp_send and expect command statements. In short, if you can type it you could script it!
Change directory to where your script, plink.exe  and data is stored and run with  tclsh <script_name>
    devices.list
    # Comment lines are allowed if they start with a hash mark
    # <IP_Addr> <userid> <password> <ssh|telnet> <timeout_in_secs>

  • Unable to calibrate X201t pen under Windows 8

I am unable to calibrate the pen of my X201t any longer. The first time I click the "Calibrate" button in Tablet PC Settings the white screen with the crosshair markers in the four screen corners appears but it always disappears by itself within seconds (i.e. before I even have a chance to hit any corner). Apparently this thing crashes, because subsequent clicks on "Calibrate" are then always ignored. (i.e. there is no reaction if I click the button again). A reheat brings this back as described, i.e. for a single time and for a few seconds only.
Please advise, what I can do to get this operational again, as I urgently need to recalibrate my pen as its calibration is increasingly off and it gets harder and harder to use it decently.
This is on a X201t running Windows 8 Pro (x64 version).

    Hi, mmo
I would recommend booting the machine into Safe Mode to see if the calibration works here. As the calibration program keeps crashing quickly, it sounds like it is a software issue, and attempting the calibration while in Safe Mode is a good step.
To boot into Safe Mode in Windows 8:
Open the Charms Bar on the right-hand side.
    Select Settings.
    Select Change PC settings.
    Select General.
Scroll to the bottom of the right-hand pane.
Select Restart Now under Advanced startup.
    Select Advanced Repair Options.
    Select Troubleshoot
    Select Advanced Options
    Select Windows Startup Settings
    Click Restart.
Upon rebooting, press 4 to boot into Safe Mode or 5 to boot into Safe Mode with Networking (allows Internet access.)
Try using the calibration here and see if it goes any better for you.
    Best of luck,
    Adam
