Extra page in renumeration statement

Hi,
I am facing a problem in renumeratrion statement.
We are doing upgarde from version 4.7 to ECC 6.
We tested everything ok in DEV of ECC 6 and transported to QA. Now in QA, when we test and print renumeration statement, we see an extra page which is not required and also we see that extra lines in renumeration statement which is resulting in extra page while printing.
We checked the form in PE51 and when we compared it with 4.7 version form, everything looks ok i.e. there is no extra line in both versions and even in debugging we see that the flow goes the same way in both ECC 6 and 4.7 system.
We checked the printer configuration and even that is fine.
Can somebody help me solve this issue. Is there any functional setting required?

Hello Somya ,
check with your setting for all windows you have - "print on the same page" and "print on the next page"
it may be bouncing to next page. to print the window.
I cant tell you more in detail, as i not ahead the system.

Crazy prices - can anyone clarify how 'extra pages' works?

I need to get a photobook done and am trying to pick between Blurb and Apple. I like Apple's books but MAN they're expensive. Blurb are much cheaper but I've had nothing but problems with them in the past. I'd say the majority of the products I've had from them have had a problem - either too dark or the covers curled or the pages rippled or the glue was awful. And yet I've heard they got better, but for an 80 page book, hardback, there's a difference of almost £20 between the two.
So my question was - Apple charges £X for a 10-sheet (20 page) book and charge £0.75 for an extra page. Does one extra page actually mean one extra sheet? Or do they seriously charge £1.50 to print on two sides of one piece of paper?

I think I'll go with Blurb for big books. If it's bad they always replace and it's cheaper to the tune of almost £100 for a 100 page book!
Your obviously incorrect statement that Blurb is almost £100.00 less than Apple. Basically my reply is to document your incorrect information so no future visitors are misled by it.

Unnecessary extra page in adobe

hi sap experts,
just want to ask help from you.
im doing an adobe form, i have 1 master page and 1 body page. when i preview i have this extra blank page that contents my master page. but the content field is already blank. what should i need to do to get rid this extra page.

Hi Donna ,
Scripts generate a blank page when your calling a NEW-PAGE and and there are some extra lines before that statement .
So, if at all you are using NEW-PAGE and make sure ther are no blank lines on your master page .
Just check whether you have assigned your next page correctly !

Renumeration Statement Issue

Hello All,
I am facing an issue with renumeration statement. For certain custom wage types, during retro scenario, the statement shows wrong amount. However, if i am viewing this statement using pc00_m99_cedt with option of retro printed in separate pages (A, X etc) the amount is shown correctly? What am i missing here?

could you please indicate following details so i can better understand your issue?
- WT are supposed are supposed to be printed on payslip
with retro period indicated on form?
summarized?
If you have * or D in your DSplit indicator in PE51 for your WT it won`y change number for WT, neither Rate it will only summarize amounts from retro periods + in period that you are. So the results can look weird.
Could you please indicate more details or ideally send me screen shoots from your PE51 and your payslip?

I am designing SMARTFORM for check and renumeration statement
I need to print payslip and cheque in a smartform
on page1 i am getting payslip but i m unable to design cheque on second page
Please help me out

You need to design 2 pages separately.
Lets say you payslip is page 1 and your check is page 2.
Click on page 1, in the general attributes tab, in the next page field enter - page 2.
So page 2 will be printed every time page 1 gets printed.

Print VI Documentation always generates extra pages that are blank/empty.

I am using the Print ->VI Documentation to generate a document that contains my block diagram. However, I notice in the preview (and in the final printout) that there are always extra pages at the end. My block diagram takes up about 40 to 50 pages, and there are always anywhere from 10 to 40 extra blank pages generated.
My guess is that the blank pages are being generated because my block diagram has a width to height ratio that does not correspond to the width to height ratio of a letter sized page. Is this the reason? Is there any way around this other than to reorganize my block diagram to have a ratio of 8.5/11?

The only 3 options that I have selected are Block Diagram, Hidden Frames & Front Panel. My block diagram uses a state machine and has about 50 different states (cases). About half of these show up in the print. The remaining don't show up even though the number of pages in my print preview seems to be right.

Extra page in script output

Hi all,
I'm facing a issue with the extra page which is not needed in the output of a script.
when the data has got line items which exactly fits in the page, there is an extra page coming which is to be avoided.
For instance, If the data has got 10 line items which exactly fits in first page, 2 pages are coming without any data in second page.
Any pointers on this would be of great help.

Just check what does the value &RKEY& is holding, whether is it displaying on output, and what what location, see that no blank lines before the DEFINE statement.
or just copy the whole statements from DEFINE upto Y7&RKEY&, to just above the item variables and see the output. Just comment the down lones and paste them above.

Header Details in Template and Item Details in Table..
I am trying to print 10 P.O ..for every P.O i kept New page command.
So..finally i have to get 10 pages in output...instead i am getting 11 pages...
How to delete the extra page ? Y i am getting this..

Hi,
as someone else said. put the newpage command at the start.
However with a condition that that it not happens at the first page.
or
Determine how many P.O.
use a counter.
If this counter is equal to number of P.O, then no newpage command.

1. Select Personalize Page link at top right of page.
2. Select Choose context button.
3. In the scope drop down box select OA Footer.
4. Click on apply.
5. Expand privacy.
6. Click on personalize pencil icon.
7. Set Rendered property to false at required level.
8. Click on apply.
9. Click on Return to Application link.

Invoice print extra page w/o any data in repetitive area or end of report

I did not use Page Footer and reduced those "hidden fielded" height to 26 with checkmark for Adjust Area Height, but the invoice will print extra page with blank repetitive area and page footer, Report Header and Repetitive Header showed.
How to remove the extra page?
I have another one that do not print the extra page but each page has same Invoice Total, Frt, Tax with Remittance Address that should only show in the last page. I know this is because I put Invoice Total in Page Footer. When I remove Page Footer to End of Report area then I got extra page with no data in repetitive area or end of report.

i think problem be create in Repetetive Area.
Do this in your PLD,
->> Open your PLD and save as a duplicate PLD (Just testing PLD).
->> Right Click in PLD and Choose the Display Hidden Fields in PLD.
->> Reduce the Height of all fields in Repetetive Area, Page Header and End of Reports.
for example,
->> Select all fields including Hidden fields in Repetetive Area & Repetetive Area Footer and
Reduce the Height in General tab on Properties Widnow.
put the Height -> 15 and Font Size -> 10
->> Reduce the Repetetive Area Height and put the Tick mark in Area Height Adjustment in Format Tab.
Try to remove all fieds(including Hidden fields) in Page Footer and Reduce the Height.
ex. Page Footer Height -> 0

Unwanted Extra page in payment advice form (F110_PRENUM_CHCK, RFFOUS_C)

Hi,
We are printing payment advice form along with the check using standard print program RFFOUS_C.
But instead of using the standard form F110_PRENUM_CHCK we are using our own form. But when printing this form one extra page is coming with no data although all the line items are getting printed in the first page itself.
Can anyone plz help me on how to avoid this additional blank page.
And we have defined only one page with all necessary windows although there are 3 pages in the standard form F110_PRENUM_CHCK.

in the selection screen of RFFOUS_C, u can c multiple options,among them c the checkboxes that have been checked.. there r options for printing additional details,summary and things like that.. u may find something useful out there.. n also if u r using a variant in the program, just look out for the options that have been checked in the selection screen for this variant..

Acrobat 7 Extra pages with comments

Using Acrobat 7 and adding a coment using the Text Tool. When printing the document (14 pages) an extra page is printed after each document page. This extra page say, "No cpomment on this page." Any know how to prevent the extra pages from printing?

CMC is exporting an extra page in my PDF document???

I have the SAP Business Objects Central Management Console and I am exporting a PDF document. When it exports the document, as a PDF, it's giving me an extra page and it's blank. I am trying to rid the extra page. How can I do that.
When I export the document as a PDF directly from Crystal Reports 8 it doesn't give me the extra blank page, which is what I am looking for.
Please help or direct me to the right place.

Print at Bottom of Page option causing extra page at end of report

I'm using the option 'Print at Bottom of Page" in Section Expert for some invoices I'm creating. For some reason it's causing me to have an extra page at the end of the report. If I unselect this option, the extra page goes away. I need to be able to have this group footer print at the bottom at the page but not have the extra at the end of the report. This is the first time I've used this option so maybe I've missed something. All other sections after the group footer I want printed are suppressed. Any ideas?

I guess I didn't have the report footer suppress, I just had it minimized in size. I suppressed it and it seems to be fine.
