Extra storage settings
I have an iphone 5 and I am only able to take a few pictures before a message comes up saying I need more storage, I got extra storage for icloud which isnt being used, can someone please tell me how to access this storage so I can take more photos etc without this message appearing. When Im in settings checking my storage it says
icloud storage 15GB used 14.6GB available

The issue will be with the storage available on the phone itself. This can't be upgraded: you will need to look through its contents and see what you can delete to clear some space.

I purchased 4 movies and 2 audio books from iTunes only to find out my iPad2 didn't have enough storage, so I purchased more storage from iCloud.
My iTunes account only shows the 4 movies that need to still be downloaded (not the two books) After purchasing 20GB from iCloud I am still receiving the "There is not enough available storage. You can manage your storage in Settings" message. I have gone to my Settings, where it shows I have the new, extra storage. I have set all the iCloud settings as shown on the Apple website. In my iCloud settings, it shows I have 17GB available out of 25GB. In my General settings, it shows that I have a capacity of 28.6 GB, while my Available is 2.9GB. (????)
I don't know why I still can't download the movies. I wouldn't know where to go (how to get to) the iCloud if I could...
Also, iTunes has sent me receipts for the movies and audio books I purchased as well. Where are they???

If you upgrade or renew your storage but no longer need it, you can cancel. If you cancel your storage plan within 15 days of an upgrade or within 45 days after a yearly payment, you can contact Apple for a full refund. After this period, you can downgrade your storage for the following year.

Multiple Apple ID's and iCloud (purchased extra storage)
My mom and dad want different iCloud accounts (so the contacts etc are not merged) They have bought the extra 20GB of iCloud storage for my Mom's phone. Here's the setup and apple ID's... My question is how to split these and keep the extra iCloud storage on my mom's phone.
Dad's iPad ID: [email protected]
Mom's iPhone ID: [email protected]
iCloud extra storage ID: [email protected]
I want to change Mom's iPhone to: [email protected]
and change the extra iCloud storage to: [email protected]
I've already tried to change the ID of the iCloud but it will not let me because the email address for [email protected] is already used.

I'm taking a risk here and assuming that when you say "iPad ID" and "iPhone ID" you are referring to the iCloud ID on the mentioned device, right?
If so,
the extra storage was purchased with your dad's iCloud account and that's where it stays.
Dad's iCloud ID can stay on his iPad, along with his extra storage.
Go to Settings->iCloud and delete Dad's iCloud ID from Mom's phone.
Log in to iCloud on Mom's phone with Mom's iCloud ID.
(Does she already have this iCloud ID? If not, it may be taken by someone else and she would have to create a new one for her.)
You cannot move the extra storage to Mom's iCloud ID. MAYBE, just MAYBE iTunes can do it, but I seriously doubt it. Contact them for assistance. (apple.com/support/itunes and select Contact iTunes)
I don't fully understand the need to purchase extra storage for just one device. Now, if you had multiple iOS devices (like for your business), then I can see it. I back up a 32g iPad and a 16g phone using less than half of 1G of my iCloud storage.

I know it saounds crazy maybe but I dont know much about this kind of thing.. I dont know how to get the storage fixed. I purchased the extra storage on Icloud a while back and it still isnt backing up like it says it is.. I took alot of apps off that i use even. I wanted to try to get more storage for the 7.1 and it says to manage storage so I deleted apps and it still didnt work so I looked to see if it has backed up anything. It says it did but the storage in Iclous was the same as it was two montths ago. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I am sure it is simple and I am over looking it.

I recently updated my Apple ID with a new email address. Now my iCloud account does not match my Apple ID.
On my iphone, when I press Settings> iCloud> Account> iCoud Account Information: Apple ID
The Apple ID is shown as my old email address, and there is no option to press this and change the sign in information. Therefore, I cannot backup my iphone.
I tried to delete iCloud, but the warning said that everything would be deleted from my iphone if I deleted iCloud. I obviously want what is on my iphone or I wouldn't care about iCloud at all. How do I update my Apple ID on my iphone for iCloud without losing anything on my iphone, including the extra storage that I paid for?If the Account name is wrong in Settings>iCloud you'll have to scroll to the botom and tap Delete Account, then sign back in using the correct ID.

In order to downgrade the storage plan on your iCloud account, all you need to do is follow the directions outlined below.
Downgrade your iCloud storage plan
You can decrease the amount of storage by selecting a new plan right from your iPhone, iPad, iPod, Mac, or PC (for example, a 20 GB plan to replace a 200 GB plan). The downgrade will take effect after your current monthly or annual subscription ends.
iOS:
If you're using iOS 8, go to Settings > iCloud > Storage. If you're using an earlier version of iOS, go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
Tap Change Storage Plan.
Tap Downgrade Options and enter your Apple ID password.
Choose a different plan to use when your current storage plan expires.
Tap Done.
OS X:
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click iCloud.
Click Manage in the lower-right corner.
Click Change Storage Plan in the upper-right corner.
Click Downgrade Options.
Enter your Apple ID password, then click Manage.
Choose a different plan to use when your current storage plan expires.
Click Done.
Windows:
Open iCloud for Windows or iCloud Control Panel.

Hi I just purchased extra storage space for my iPad 2 and it is still showing 25mg of extra space available. The problem is that I am now unable to take photos on the device as it is displaying a message saying there is not enough storage despite the upgrade. What do I do?
Ok so do I not need the extra storage I recently purchased from iCloud then? I only purchased it thinking I'd get more space. Also why then did I delete photos just now, only for the message to appear I still don't have enough storage? And why did it direct me to settings?

You "don't have enough" for what? Could it be that whatever you're doing results in errors or issues regarding storage **on your device** and has nothing to do with icloud?
To find out where you don't have enough storage...
Go to Settings>General>Usage to see how much "Storage" you have available on the device. Farther down the list is the available storage on iCloud. -
im really frustrated. everything not just this happening to me right now. I'll try to be as clear as I can be here. I can't get email or send email with one of two apple I.D.'s connected to my iphone. The other I.D. I paid for extra storage. The I.D. that needs more storage is my main email address and my lifeline. Job offers come to that address, my banking and home security alerts, etc all happen through this one email account. I can't even get that ID to show on my phone to choose it.

Can anyone recommend any? ThanksIf you need to offload photos as you have too many, the best way is to plug the iPad into you computer running Mac OSX and dump them into iphoto.
If you want to use something by wireless, without a computer then any network connected hard disk will work much the same. You cannot use file storage directly anyway.. you need to load a file app to start with.
I think use whichever works out the cheaper for you.
Do note the TC is really not designed to do this job and if you already use the TC for Time Machine it is messy loading files onto it. This is apparently a new purchase so you are not using the TC at all..
The TC lacks a method to back itself up.. And this is one of its great weaknesses.. if the TC fails.. and they all fail at some point. How are you going to recover those photos?? From iPad you will not have the tools needed to do backups of the TC to another location.
I have no idea if the seagate has built in proper backup but I would find out. -
I deleted iCloud off my phone a few months back because it seemed to be slowing down my phone. I am no longer interested in keeping iCloud on my phone in the future. I was charged $20 to upkeep my extra storage that I purchased last year but am no longer needing it. How do I get my money back?

Using a Windows 2012 RDS Environment, we have users connecting to a CPD website, and as part of the CPD they need to run a systems checker. When they run the systems checker they get the following error message: "Adobe Flash FAIL: Adobe Flash Player local storage settings incorrect. Module 'Resume' feature may not work on this computer". All users are connecting to this environment with Windows CE Clients,I have checked the setting on Adobe Flash and they seem correct but as each user has its own profile on the RDS session, is there something that I should be setting for each user. I have added the website to the trusted sites and it has made no difference. Any ideas
It sounds like what's happening is that Flash Player can't write or read from the local shared objects in the user's redirected home directory because we disallow traversing junctions in the broker process. This behavior was disabled to address a vulnerability identified in some of John Forshaw's research into the IE broker last year.
You can enable this behavior by adding the following setting to mms.cfg:
EnableInsecureJunctionBehavior=1
That said, you can probably gather from the name of the flag that we don't really recommend this approach, and disable this attack surface by default. There's some risk that a network attacker could craft content that abuses fundamental issues with how Windows handles Junctions to write to arbitrary locations.
Unfortunately, there's not a simple or easy workaround that I'm aware of (but it's been ages since I've administered a Windows domain) for this kind of NAS/SAN-backed terminal server environment where Flash is not able to access \Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\ without traversing a junction. -

What you bought is extra iCloud storage, not storage space for your iPhone. It gives you more room for storing backups of the device, but won’t help in the process of updating it; for that, you need to delete content from the device and/or update it from iTunes on the computer.
iCloud storage space can’t be applied to an iPhone or other iOS device.
