Extract data from CRM to SAP R/3

Hi Experts,
I Facing Problem to Extract the data from database table BUT000 in CRM 2.0 System to SAP R/3 whether its possible to update the data directly in R/3 system from CRM. whether any functional module exists?
Plz Provide me details about it

Why do you need to copy it? The data is easily available from R/3 via RFC.

Error while extracting data from CRM

Dear all,
I have used some standard and generic datasources to extract data from CRM. These were working fine for more than a year and are scheduled in Process chains. For the past few days I am getting Caller 09 error as shown below, only for the generic datasources. I have checked the connection,replicated the datasources and activated them, reinitialized and have tried all the solutions that were posted earlier, but still the process chain fails. When I execute the process chain for generic datasources manually, it is working fine.
When I tried in RSA3 for both standard and generic datasources in CRM with update mode D, I get a message 'Error occured during the extraction',
Kindly suggest what can be the problem.

How you remove the error depends on the error message.
Note
If the source system is a Client Workstation, then it is possible that the file that you wanted to load was being edited at the time of the data request. Make sure that the file is in the specified directory, that it is not being processed at the moment, and restart the request.

Extract data from AMPLA to SAP BW

Hi All,
My requirement is to extract data from a Non SAP system called AMPLA (SQL Server 2012) to SAP BI system (7.0). I need to consider possible ways for SAP BI to extract data from Non SAP Systems like DB Connect, UD Connect, Web services etc. Does anyone have experience extracting AMPLA data to SAP BI system successfully and what method is ideal to be used? Also in what form is data usually available in AMPLA source system(tables/views etc)?

How to extract data from CRM with Data Service?

Hi all,
I'll try to explain briefly the main issue; We need to read or extract data from SAP CRM with Data Service tool, then we'll show the data with webi, but now I would like to know if there are some standard tool as a rapid mart (i mean that it doesn't exists) but if some one knows how it works and if it's possible, it could be very helpful for us.
BW option doesn't ok because the client needs a lot of queries for a report and the standard tool in our project is Data Service.

Hi,
Your very familiar with LO data source even though your getting doubts on it.
LBWE/SM13 belongs to only LO Data sources.
CRM data sources also have delta settings based on data source.
You can search on google about CRM data sources by using data source names.You may get some useful information.
Before using CRM Data sources, CRM functional team need to set proper configurations at CRM system. those also you can easily get form google.
use search term as " CRM - BW Adapter settings".
Like other standard data sources for crm also,
we need to activate from RAS5 and do the modification at RSA6.
test at RSA3 and replicate into BW. Do the rest of the flow at bw system.

0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 takes a long time to extract data from CRM system

Hi gurus,
I am using the datasource 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 to extract activities data from CRM side. However, it is taking too long time to get any information there.
I applied the SAP NOTE 829397 (Activity extraction takes a long time: 0crm_sales_act_1) but it did not solve my problem.
Does anybody knows something about that?

Hi Silvio,
I've experienced a similar problem with this extractor. I attempted to Initialize Delta with Data Transfer to no avail. The job ran for 12+ hours and stayed in "yellow" status (0 records extracted). The following steps worked for me:
1. Initialize Delta without Data Transfer
2. Run Delta Update
3. Run Full Update and Indicate Request as Repair Request
Worked like a champ, data load finished in less than 2 minutes.

BO DI for extracting data from legacy to SAP BW 7.0

Has anyone worked on scenario where BO Data Integrator is being used as ETL tool for extracting data from legacy systems to SAP BW 7.0 ?
Please share your experience on such a landscpae or related documents any of you had come across.

Hi,
BO Integrator connects with other system (Database) and you will be creating your reports on the top of that DB or system. It never saw it being used to pull data from legacy to BW.

Error while extracting data from CRM to 0BPARTNER

Hi All,
We are extracting   daily data from SAP CRM to 0BPARTNER using 0BPARTNER_ATTR(Delta mode) . While loading the data upto PSA, it showed the total number of records as * 50033 from 50033*. But the total and technical status are yellow . When checked the step by step analysis , *Processing error in source system reported * is red and rest all are green.When I saw the application Log it is writtern as * There is a discrepancy between confirmation and deletion of qrfc-LUWs*.
In the Details tab ,we got the following messages.
1)*Extraction (messages): Errors occurred *
   19485 Records sent ( 19485 Records received ) .
2)*Transfer (IDocs and TRFC): Missing messages or warnings *
    *IDoc : sent, not arrived ; Data passed to port OK * and rest every thing is green.
But all the data packets are fine.
WeI have checked using BD87, WE02, WE05   in BW and source systems for I DOCS . But none of the t-codes provide any IDOCS with warnings or errors.
So we have changed the Total l status to Green. Please note that still the technical status is showing as Yellow only.
We started to updating the data target from PSA. Now again, both statues are showing yellow only.So what should we do inorder to resolve this ?

Extract data from PDF to SAP

Hi all,
   I have created an Offline form in sfp Transaction and emailed successfully .
     And now that Receiver has sent me the form with the filled pdf form to my outlook id ( bcas my mail id is being configured in SMTP) .
   Now I want to Update a table with that filled values in the received pdf..
1) What r all the steps should i follow now?
2) What for guided procedures or workflow?
3) Do i have the option to receive the mail to my Business       workplace inbox instead my personal mail id?
i went thru all the related threads in this topic. But could not get the Idea..
If someone knows please suggest me ..

First here is the attributes i define in my object , all are Private instance attributes.

Trying to Extract data from CRM Table(BUT100)

         I have big problem while loading data from Table BUT100 through Generic Datasource, situation like this I have table in the CRM system BUT100 with BPartner and BPRole contains Duplicate Records which we need to bring load this duplicate record to BW where I am loading data through Master data it has given error with duplicate records and tried with ODS here it has loaded but it brought ubique values because we have only two fields which we should put 1 key field and 1 data field,
So Is there any way to bring this data to BW, Please suggest me.

Extract data from CRM 2007 (CRM 6.0)

Hi all,
When BW-ekstraktion, g.e. 0BPARTNER_ATTR, we will get infopackage error:
8 when starting the extraction program
The problem is in SAP CRM 2007. This system has been setup as (transaction kode CRMC_REPO_OPT) "BP BI AND INTERACTIVE REPORTING" as activeted.
In Transaction kode SBIW "Control parameters for data transfer from the souce system" the field "Target system for background job" has value CRMCLNT150 (BW INTERACTIVE REPORTING client in the CRM 2007 system). This is done for getting the CRM 2007 "CRM Interactive Reporting" to work.
"Target system for background job" must be empty (Note 147104) else can't SAP BW get any data.
We need to get both "CRM Interactive Reporting" and BW data loads to work. Has any one got "luck" with data load to BI 7.0 and CRM INTERACTIVE REPORTING (CRM 2007) running at the same time ?

Hi Ingo,
What I suggest is instead of extracting it to a file, can you use the function module which replicates this data to the mobile clients and use this function module to call the select statement. If a mobile client is able to access this info, then it must be doing a RFC call to some system whose logical system would have been in SAP as well. This is an assumption.
May be if you could call the same function to derive the required data instead of extracting it to a file and then uploading it.

Extract data from flat file

Hi,
I'm trying to extract data from a non-SAP datasource (flat file) to BW, I need to first convert the source file (txt) into the appropriate format to load to BW (CSV or ASCII). Currently, the txt file is not in a either format but more in a report kind of format. Is there any functionality in BW that I could utilize to convert the source file esaily in the format that BW can understand? Can I do this using transfer rules?

Thanks. But on the text file, there's some other information that I don't need such as the header information and the data currently is in group level. Can I utilize BW without changing the format on the original source file?
