Extract Hierarchies compounding 0co_area /0profit_ctr not filled

Hello,
We developed an extractor to extract the hierarchy based on a evaluation path. The problem is that the compounding
object 0co_area is not filled in BI 7.0. My question is does any one know what I am doing wrong?
The info objects which
are used are: 0org_unit and 0profit_ctr. The output is created by transaction rsa6:

At this stage there is no problem
0PROFIT_CTR     5000A00011           the first of 5000A00011 (0co_area/0profitcenter).
The problem:
We have loaded the data in   BI 7.0 the compounding info object 0co_area is not filled.
In tabel roohiecom has the following entries:

Problem is solved. If people have also problems how to fill the compouding attribute in hierarchies in BI I can give the solution . If there are no reactions than I will put no effort to write it down.

Customer hierarchie HIENR01 not filled in price analyse

Hello,
I created a new price condition for the customer hierarchie and I also tried it with the sap standard condition type HI01.
Both are not working, because the field customer (hiearchie 1-7) is not filled. I can only see an exclamation mark in the price analyse for the condition.
Does anybody know what I forgot???

Solved this task myself.
The characteristics I had to use in table sales_cfgs_value for FM SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE were:
EXPRESS_ORDER - Y/N
PDF_PROOF - Y/N
POS1_ID_W - TOP/BOTTOM
POS1_NR_OF_COLOURS_KB - 1
POS1_PRINT_CODE - P1
POS1_USE_W - Y
REPEAT_ORDER - Y
ITEM_COLOR_NUMBER - 17
COLOR_XX_QTY - 100
Now the FM is returning the startup price, the variable costs and the manipulation costs.

Compounded characteristic are not displayed in the variable screen (BI 700)

Hi Experts,
How to display compounded characteristic in the variable screen of queriies?
Example :
IO 0PROFIT_CTR is compounded to 0CO_AREA. Tryimg to select 0PROFIT_CTR via a variable,
only values of 0PROFIT_CTR are displayed in F4 opo up, not those of 0CO_AREA.
0CO_AREA is not restricted in any way in query definiton.
This happens in BEx Analyser as well as in web apllication.
Did anybody face this issue? How to solve it?

'I 've a variable for 0PROFIT_CTR. When I call F4 , values for 0PROFIT_CTR are displayed
e.g. as
7062 PC 7062
7062 PC /062
My problem is, that these PCs belong to different Co_areas. so i expected
3200 7062 PC 7062
4300 7062 PC 7062
3200 an 4300 are representing compounded Co_areas in this example. In 3.5 this worked perfectly,
if Co_areas was not restricted itself with a variable or a defined value.
Now I'm looking for the option to achieve this as well in 700.

Data fields not filled in DSO Activation

Dear All,
I have written an End routine to extract data into a DSO to fill some data fields. The End routine will perform a lookup on another DSO and modifies the records of the result_package. The data fields are characteristics and hence in the transformation, they are set to No Transformation.
When I extracted the data into DSO, the new table has all the data fields correctly filled. But, after activating the request, all the data fileds data are erased. However, the keyfields data is still available in the Active table.
Can you please help me on this.

I have faced the same issue.Data was coming till new table,but after activation fields were getting
blank.
There is no necessity for doing a dummy mapping. In the transformation screen you will be having an ikon near to the delete
routine symbol with an arrow symbol
similar to select all and unselect all, just clikc on it and then mention the setting as Update all the target fields need to be populated.
This will solve the issue, if it is not solved, then you can make a direct mapping to any of the field in the source, it need not be the
exact field in the target.

0HR_PY_1 Datasource: Fields not filled

I'm afraid that I need some help from you. We are extracting HR data via 0HR_PY_1 Datasource and I have noticed that some fields are not filled by the extraction program. I've read BW Online Help about this datasource and I have realized that the extraction program doesn´t fill these fields.
Do you know how can I do to make these fields to be filled?

Thank you very much for your help but, I'm afraid that the procedure that you explained is for enhancing the datasource but my problem is that the fields already exist but they are not filled by extraction programmes. I don't understand why does SAP make this and I was wondering if there are any way to make these fields to be filled using the standard procedure. I mean, if these fields are not filled (and SAP tells you so in BW Online Help), why these fields are included in the extract structure and in the datasource?. I tend to think that there are any procedure to follow in order to fill these fields. What do you think about it?. In adition, the not-filled-fields are CO objects so it doesn´t appear to me to be very easy the filling of them.
I don't know if anybody has been in the same situation or if is there any documentation about it that can help. Thank you for your help!

The import parameters were not filled correctly

I am working on BW 3.O AND USING A FLAT FILE. I was trying to create hierachy to a infoobject(SalesrepID-SREP). First i enabled the (with hierarchies) tab under the hierarchy tab of change characteristics of SalesrepID, and selected the Time dependent hierarchy structure RadioButtoon. Then Activated the info object. All the tables for hierarchies are generated. (BIC/HIO/SREP,BIC/KIO/SREP and BIC/IIO/SREP) when I right click the info object and try to create Hierarchy it is populating an information box saying that the, "The import parameters were not filled correctly". please kindly try to help me.

Hi,
Under the Hierarchy Tab, click on the external characteristics button and transfer your sales office and sales region from the left-->right window. Return to the InfoObject maintenance screen and activate your Infoobject.
Right click on your infoobject and click on the "Create Hierarchy" option.

Authorization variable not filled with authorization values

Hello All
I post a similar message earlier this week, I thought that my issue was solved, but it was not.
I've got a workbook with 4 differents queries.
There as an authorizations variable in each query. This variable properties is as follows :
**General tab**
Type of variable : characteristic value
Processing type : authorization
Characteristic : company code
**Details**
Variable represents : selection options
Variable is : optional
Variable is ready for input : yes
I've followed recommandations from OSS notes 976680
My issue is : if I run each query individually, variable is filled with authorized values
If I run the workbook, variable is not filled with authorized value, so when end user run the workbook, BW consider that end user wants to see all data and get "No authorization".
I don't understand why variable within the workbook doesn't show the authorized values and why the queries do.
Any suggestion about this issue ????

I ran the query with UserID from RSECADMIN and I could open the query. But if I want to select 0profit_ctr I get this error No authorization to characteristic values.
I checked the log and this is the message.
Value Authorization
InfoProvider FIGL_MP1

No Authorization for Values

How to Extract Hierarchies from ECC6.00 to BI7.0 ?

Hi Johnson,
The transfer of P.O from SRM to R/3 happens through function module (RFC) and not IDOC. Only the transfer of GR and invoice happens through IDOC.
The above scenario happens when you are using Extended Classic.
In case of classic scenario, you can only have P.O details in SRM that to in Check status of Shopping cart. You can not display or change a P.O in classic scenario.
IDOCs are not used for the transfer of P.O from R/3 to SRM. And there is no mapping exists for the replication.

Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled

When i am doing Posting with clearing(FB05) i am getting the below error message "Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled"
Background: When we are doing the MIRO transaction we have used a diffrent profit center than it came from the Purchase Order where we have added extra cost and included the new line items under GL tab and posted the Invoice.
Now i want to tranfer that to a diffrent Vendor and clear it. So i used FB05 transsaction. When i tired to do the transfer posting with clearing i am getting the error message "Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled" As we have under the document split Zero balances check box checked along with the Profit center Mandatory for field Profit Center. The system could not determine which profit center it has to use.

We are in ECC6
I have posted a vendor document. The entry is shown as under.
     GL                           CC     PC     Segment
Dr     Expense GL-1     RV01     RGV1     Hyderabad
Dr     Expense GL-2     RV02     RGV2     Mumbai
Cr     Vednor a/c
but when i am posting a payment document (Dr Bank GL and Cr vendor a/c) to this vendor I am getting the following error.
Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled.
I have check ed the configuration setting in this regard. Zero balance, mandatory fields for profit center and segement check box is enabled. And also the inheratence check box is also enabled.
Pls suggest soulution soon for the above problem.

Try to default the profit center in FAGL3KEH for the Bank account and try posting.
In SAP, the vendors and customers cannot be assigned to any profit center. They derive the profit center from the profit center picked from the GL as in the case of the expense entry that you mentioned.
Try to assign a default profit center and check.

I just bought a Samsung S22B310B computer monitor and hooked up to my Mac Mini. I have my mac set to the 1920X1080 resolution but the entire screen (21.5") is not filled. It looks like non HD channels do on an HD TV. Used regular hook up not DVI.

That monitor supports both (digital) DVI and (analog) VGA connections, so you should not need a converter or use a different adapter.
You should use the Apple Supplied HDMI to DVI Adapter and a (digital) DVI cable to the monitor.

Web Page is not filling Mac Display - ene when maximized

web pages are not completing filling the mac book display. Maximize does not fill the display, I am still able to see my screen saver on about 25 percent of the display. I downloaded the battery update last night and this problem appeared.

Do the following> on you right hand down corner there are a view ///// dashed lines. Now place the mouse pointer on it an drag the Safari window to the size (maximum size) you like.
Reload the open Safari window (any web page is OKAY). Now quite Safari application> Relaunch Safari.
If this is not working right a way do the above again ...

Portal Report from SQL query will not fill the page irrespective of column width.....

I'm displaying a report in a portal and if you run in full screen the table does not fill the page.
I can change the column width from xx percent to xx pixel and nothing makes a difference
any ideas?

AS per configuration , there is prifit centre assignment .Enter the profit centre in the field of profit centre by the help opf F4.
