Extract method tool deletes my comments

I have Jdeveloper 9.0.3, now I'm trying to use the extract method tool and works fine but some of the code that I shade to use with the tool contains several comments, and when the tool finish the execution my comments was deleted, Why? any ideas?, maybe some configuration???

Extract Method KILLS comments!

The built-in refactoring tool "Extract Method" kills the comments of the extracted code.
It kills "//" as well as "/*" type comments.
What a nasty bug!
The JDev version is 9.0.3.1035 (the production release).

Disabling HTTP Methods: Put, Delete, Trace

Hello Everyone.
I am faced with the problem that I can not figure out how to disable the HTTP methods PUT, DELETE, TRACE.
We are running a Sun ONE App Server 7.0.0_05 install in a Linux environment.
What documentation exists that details the precedures on how to disabel the HTTP methods on the web server? Or if someone can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

1) Why would TRACE and OPTION request specifying HTTP 1.0 vs. 1.1 yield such different results?
Web Server 6.0 only implements the TRACE and OPTIONS methods for HTTP/1.1, not HTTP/1.0. This is reasonable as TRACE and OPTIONS are part of the HTTP/1.1 protocol and not the HTTP/1.0 protocol.
In other words, TRACE is always disabled for HTTP/1.0 requests, even if you don't use the set-variable work around.
2) Is the OPTIONS command a legitimate test of whether this fix works? If it is, has anyone managed to have the command return an "Allow:" line MINUS the TRACE?
Nope, not in Web Server 6.0. OPTIONS will always list TRACE. (Note that in Web Server 6.1, TRACE is not as tightly integrated into the server core. As a result, OPTIONS will conditionally list TRACE in 6.1.)
3) Has anyone managed to generate a 501 error message after specifying TRACE / HTTP/1.1 instead of 1.0?
Nope, not in Web Server 6.0.
4) Does this fix really work?
I wouldn't call it a fix; it's a work around. However, it does effectively disable TRACE. The work around is a bit of a kludge, resulting in the odd 413 status code.
The real "fix" appears in Web Server 6.1 where you can disable TRACE simply by commenting out the Service method="TRACE" fn="service-trace" line in obj.conf.

How to find the extraction method of a datasource?

Hi,
On a review of some documents on SDN, regarding how to track where data is coming from to BW, there was this helpful quote.
Just knowing what is the extraction method of a datasource and our search of the origins achieves a vast improvement!
So, through se11, ROOSOURCE gave some details including the include ROEXTRACT.
from here, I am getting stuck, se16 and se11 are not helping.
How do I move from the information on this screen to see, for example, the extraction method for a datasource 2LIS_11_VAITM

I followed the instruction i.e. in ROOSURCE then Contents...
but when I enter the datasource 2LIS_11_VAITM in hoipes to see the corresponding Delta Process for this datasource, I get a message
"... No table entries found for specified key"
what does this mean, knowing that thie datasource exists.

How can I delete a comment pop-up from a form I authored?

I've created a fillable form in Acrobat Pro 9. A random comment popup keeps appearing on one of the pages. I've tried deleting all comments and saved and reuploaded my form to my site. This only shows up in Chrome browser. Any help in troubleshooting this is greatly appreciated.

What are all the different methods/tools for creating animations that work in IBA?

I've been developing HTML5 animations in Sencha and attempting to use the HTML widget in IBA. It's not going as seamless as I was hoping, and I was wondering if there are better methods/tools to create animations for IBA. In my opinion, the primary limitation is not in Sencha itself, it's more in the widget functionality in IBA.
I want the entire page to be an animation and drive the user experience, basically. Currently in IBA, the widget allows for successfully importing an HTML5 animation, but in more as a complementary role to the page instead of the primary content.
Any ideas?

Thanks Fabe - I agree 100%. However, in order to make fully dynamic books, animations can play a great role in bringing a book to life. (Admittedly, I may have to just build an app for what I'm trying to do)

Adobe Reader XI, how do I remove the panel on the far right for Tools, Fill & Sign, Comment?

How do I remove this panel on the far right of the screen? It takes up too much space when I move the Adobe window to only the left or right side of my screen. Can it be shrunk like Bookmarks, Attachments and Thumbnails?

I found if I "Hide Toolbars" and then "Show Toolbars", the Tools Fill & Sign Comment toolbar comes back minimized. The shortcut key is F8. I will have to remember the shortcut so I may rapidly turn off and then show the toolbars.

As noted above, there are several methods to delete an object, but please be careful - do your really want to delete this Org Unit? If anyone has ever been assigned to it - you do not want to delete it. You want to delimit it if it is not longer needed. This way you will maintain the history of the persons who had been assigned to that Org Unit. Please use delete only if no one has ever been assigned to that Organization.
To delimit - PO10 - Enter your Org Unit ID, select the Object infotype (IT1000) and the delimit icon. This will delimit all relationships with other objects.

Dear Lokesh and all other of the community,
I have now my solution for delta extraction of a generic data source. FM RSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_SIMPLE and as well RSAX_BIW_GET_DATA is not working for me, as they are not including delta function. My solution is based on FM RSVD_BW_GET_DELTA_DATA. Here are the steps:
1) Copy RSVD_BW_GET_DELTA_DATA and change to your purpose the ranges, the extract strukture, the z-extract-table (including field TSTMP) and the z-extract-view (not including field TSTMP).
2) Create a new generic datasource with RSO2. Choose extraction via FM and enter FM ZRSVD_BW_GET_DELTA_DATA and z-extract-table.
3) Change in table ROOSOURCE the EXMETHOD from F2 to F1, DELTA the from AIM to CUBE and the EXTRACTOR to the z-extract-view.
NOTE: You will now get the error message "Table is not existing" RJ403 in Transaction RSO2. - this has no effect. Use transaction RSA2 to check your settings.
This solution is working to:
first: do the initial load of all data -> after this the delta queue is created in RSA7
second: do the delta load of all new data -> based on the timestamp, means all data with timestamp after the last load, also changed and new data -> you see the last timestamp of delta transfer in tabel ROBWQTSTAT
