Extract repeating sequence from tdms

Hi experts,
I have weeks of time series data in TDMS files that are analog logs of a repeating sequence. I need to extract each of the repeating sequences and overlay the waveforms to determine variances between sequences (sample data attached including 5 blocks attached)
The start of each block is defined by the pulse on channel "Bubble Detect Trigger". What I need do is time slice each TDMS between the trigger pulses and overlay all the slices on a chart to see how the other channels line up.
Is there a way of doing this in Signal express or DIADEM?
Help much appreciated.

Hey Kurt, thanks for your interest.
I'm looking to do a simple overlay. In the attached example tdms there is a group called Timeseries Data, which was captured using SignalExpress and DAQcard. I need to find the edges of the Trigger channel, chop the TimeSeries data up and overlay the repeating sequence. I have done this manually to show the end result in the group called Overlays. By doing this Raw3 can easily be seen to be different from the other sequences.
The analysis is done offline and I need to automate as I have a couple Tb data to process. SignalExpress has some functionality to do edge finding and subset data so I thought that might work, and Diadem is supposed to be great for handling large amounts of data and has scripting so I thought that might work. I just dont know enough about either tool to get the results I need....

Is there a way to extract a sequence from an FCP7 project that crashes on opening?

I ingeniously used a Reference Quicktime to edit with in an old project, and now that that RefQT no longer works (the files it references are old, were moved/removed), the project stalls FCP7 with the rainbow pinwheel after the reconnection dialog is dismissed in any way.
My question - can I somehow get the sequence within this project out of the project and into a project that might open? Just for ***** and giggles, I tried to import the project as an EDL and it gave me a sequence, but it was blank and had an odd name.
Is there any hope? Have I just boned myself by using that RefQT in the first place? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Just to clarify, if you attempt to launch the project that contains the corrupted sequence, the application crashes regardless if your dismiss the Offline Files prompt by clicking either the Reconnect button or the Continue Button?
Yep. Tried Reconnecting and Dismissing both (even reconnecting to a different non-reference QT), but once it's all over, same result -- rainbow pinwheel.
If you click Continue, and the get the pinwheel, if you go to the Apple menu > Force Quit does it say "Final Cut Pro - Not Responding"?
Yep. I also tried letting it run for 5-10 minutes just to see if it would figure itself out, but to no avail.

Extracting return operation from a parallel sequence in a routing.

Hi all
I need to extract data on some existing parallel sequences in routings from R3. One of the fields i need is the return operation for each parallel sequence.
I was hoping the data would be in PLFL which contains most of the sequence information I need. But alas it doesn't have the return operation.
Checking with F1 and the tech button shows me that the field i want is PLFLD-VORNR2. But PLFLD is a structure that I can't get to.
Does anyone know how to extract this info from the system?

Hi Simon,
The field that you're looking for is PLFL-BKNT2 (for the return operation). Pay attention that in this field there's a number that is representing the operation node number, not the number that you see in the routing screen.

The first DataSource (2LIS_03_BX) is used to extract an opening stock balance on a
detailed level (material, plant, storage location and so on). At this moment, the opening
stock is the operative stock in the source system. "At this moment" is the point in time at
which the statistical setup ran for DataSource 2LIS_03_BX. (This is because no
documents are to be posted during this run and so the stock does not change during this
run, as we will see below). It is not possible to choose a key date freely.
The second DataSource (2LIS_03_BF) is used to extract the material movements into
the BW system. This DataSource provides the data as material documents (MCMSEG
structure).
The third of the above DataSources (2LIS_03_UM) contains data from valuated
revaluations in Financial Accounting (document BSEG). This data is required to update

Error in running Extract Definition Upload from Data File concurrent.

Hi all,
Am trying to upload the 834 Extract Layout from the data file by running the concurrent program, Extract Definition Upload from Data File.
After running this concurrent program am getting the Extract Layout definition with Record layout and Data elements within it.
But some record layouts has the changes at their repeating level in that.
Please suggest me how do i get the same repeating levels for the record layouts when i move the 834 benefit extract layout definition
from one instance to another instance.

We have exactly the same error in IBolt. This error happens sometime and we don't find the reason.
IBolt has been upgraded to Version 3.1 SP1 and a fix has been developed by the support. After installation, we've work hardly during 2 days for testing all the flows by the customer without having this error.
Ibolt works as a service and when this error occurs, the service stopped and must be restarted.
In our flows, we have put a delete of the observer.dll file just before the rest of the flow but it doesn't solve the problem.
Deleting the directory can be temporarly a solution but the error come back another day.
Each time the SBO client or DTW is started, the %temp%\SMS_OBJ_DLL directory is created...
When you just delete the observer.dll file and leave the rest of the directory like it is, the file is re-created when you start and log to SBO. I would say that this file is a copy of another file observer_800178.dll (800178 depending of the version of SBO yoi have). 800178 corresponds to SBO 2007 A PL 42.
Do you have more information since your post has been send ?

JSObject returns wrong date. How can I extract correct date from digital signature?

I'm trying to extract name and date from digital signatures by using JSObject in Excel VBA, but JSObject returns wrong date. Year, month, hour and minute are correct, but only day is incorrect.
Here is my code. I'm using Acrobat 8.1.3.
Please tell me what's wrong with this code and how I can extract correct date from digital signatures.

You can use TDMS file format to save the data. I have attached a reference Vi.
On button click you can log the data or remove the case structure and continuous log the complete acquisition data.

Extract of Data from Oracle in a Flat File with Column and Record seperator

I have a case where I have to extract whole data froma Oracle Table where the Columns should be seperated by |@|
and Records by ^*^.
The reason for this is My data has Space and New line in it. So My Program to recoganize each column and record I want them to be seperated by special chars.
Itried this but of no much help.

Hi,
There are different places to track your job. Once your job is triggered in BW, you can track your load job where exactly it is taking more time and why. Follow below steps:
1) After InfoPackage is triggered, then take the request number and go to source system to check your extraction job status.
You can get the job status by taking the request number from BW and go to transaction SM37 in ECC. Then give the request number with begining '' and ending ''. Also give '*' to user name.
Job name: REQ_XXXXXX
User Name: *
Check the job status whether job is completed or cancelled or short dump. If the job is still running check in SM66 whether you can see any process. If not accordingly you got to check in ST22 or SM21 in ECC. If the job is complete, then the same in BW side now.
2) Check the data arrived in PSA, if not check whether Transfer routines or start routines are having bad SQL or code. Similarly in update rules.
3) Once it is through in Source system (ECC), Transfer rules , Update Rules, then the next task is updating the data might some time take more time which might be based on some parameters ( Number of parallel process to update database ). Check whether updating the database is taking more time and may be you got to check with the DBA guy also.
At all the times you should see minimum of atleast once process running all the time in SM66 till the time your job gets complete. If not you will see a log in ST22.

So, I'm able to extract some keyframe, but i'm not sure it is the correct way and my dubt grows out of the fact that without the if expression highlighted in red, it seems that I have more keyframes (those ones with flag ==1040). Another problem is that it works only with AVI because MPG instead of 1040, they have alternate sequence of 32 and 1056.

So, if it works, then every frame of the video is a keyframe, and it won't work otherwise.
How can key frames be detected with JMF and then extracted with the code provided? Any tutorial or sample code about that?They can't be. You can write a custom codec that will give you access to every frame, regardless of the format, if you're wanting to get all of the frames.

But JMF doesn't have any way of dealing with key frames directly, at least that I am aware of.

Extracting two words from the article in english

i have an english article which is to be classified into a particular category based on the keywords. There are lacks of keywords stored in database. What i have to do is to obtain the keywords from the article and match it from the database. if match is found then the article belongs to that particular category. This keyword matching i did for one word by using split(" "), but now i want to do for 2 words from an article.that is getting 2 words from the article which is repeated many times.then searching it in the db.(here 2 words will be considered as one keyword)
Now what i should do to get the two appropriate keywords from the article without taking a,am,the,is,when etc...(leaving many generic words).
Any help will be appreciated.

I know its a bad algorithm classify the article written in english only based on few words appearing in the article.
But what i want to do is first extract the words from the article leaving the generic words, then count the single word each.Then i am sorting the words based on count and taking the five words from the article which has highest count. Now i have the database where millions of keywords are stored. These keywords are refering to particle category
ie. if we consider a category as sports, then under this category i have many keywords stored in the database like cricket, football, worldcup,tennis... etc
Now if i search the appropriate word from the article it will be considered as keyword. then this will be searched in the database. if match is found then it means the article belongs to sports category.
Now problem is some times article can have two words which can be considered as one keyword and can be used to classify article in much better way.
The question is how to get such words from the article???
ex.. if Hero's Journey is combined word appearing many times in the article then this keyword can be used to classify the article much better than going for single word.
Can anybody help me in this regard.

Oracle UCM - Extract IPTC data from images

I'm hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction. I'm trying to extract IPTC data from images originating in lightroom and map that data into custom metadata fields on check in. I've installed content categorizer but it doesn't seem to grab the IPTC data. I sure hope someone out there will be able to lend me a hand.

How to extract a10 framess from webcam video..wait for sometime then extract 10 more frames

I need to extract 10 frames from a real time webcam video..wait for a particular period of time (say 5 sec) and then extract 10 more frames repeat this procedure 15 times. I tried using vision acquisition too..but i couldnt solve the problem. im using Labview 2011..please help me with this issue.

I am guessing that this is a Homework problem. It will not help you to learn LabVIEW if someone else does your work for you. On the other hand, it might actually be part of the specification for some code that your employer needs to have completed -- if so, are there LabVIEW "experts" there that you can consult?
If you do, indeed, need someone to develop a "finished product" for you, you will need to provide a full specification of what is involved, and (especially if this is job-related) might consider hiring someone to do this for you.
On the other hand, if you are a student learning LabVIEW, review your earlier Homework assignments, ask your Professor for help, and write as much code as you can! Learning to program (in LabVIEW, Fortran, C, Java, it really doesn't matter) is not an "intellectual exercise" -- it is a "Practice makes Perfect" endeavor.

Unable to extract the data from ECC 6.0 to PSA

Hello,
I'm trying to extract the data from ECC 6.0 data source name as 2LIS_11_VAHDR into BI 7.0
When i try to load Full Load into PSA , I'm getting following error message
Error Message: "DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR must be activated"
Actually the data source already active , I look at the datasource using T-code LBWE it is active.
In BI on datasource(2LIS_11_VAHDR) when i right click selected "Manage" system is giving throughing below error message
"Invalid DataStore object name /BIC/B0000043: Reason: No valid entry in table RSTS"
If anybody faced this error message please advise what i'm doing wrong?

When i try to schedule the InfoPakage it's giving error message "Data Source is not active"
I'm sure this problem relate to Data Source 3.5 to 7.0 convertion problem in production. In Development there is no problem because manually i convert the datasource 3.5 to 7.0

Extracting .xls file from an FTP site

Hi there,
I'm trying to run a DI solution that is extracting a file from a FTP site. DI can see the file but it gives me an error saying that:
FTP could not transfer file <FTP site/myfile.xls> from host <IP Address>: <>. Please ensure that the FTP relative path for the SAP R/3 working directory is set correctly such that the data file is accessible to the FTP
Can someone please help with this.

thats SP1 for DS XI 3.2
I think there is no delta from XI 3.2 to XO 3.2 SP1 what means you have to do a fresh install and upgrade repo.
But you better doublecheck before but i think there is no delta.
