Extract structure not available

Hi,
I created a simple datasource based directly on a table. And Now i'm looking to add an append structure to extract a field by using User Exit.
The field i want to add is MATNR.
I created my append in RSA6 as usual, create append, put name and reference object. Then activate --> OK
Then actiavte extract structure --> OK
and when i want to untick the option Hide Value in Datasource in RSA6 i can't see my MATNR new field.
I tried to activate several times but it is still the same problem.
ANy ideas ?

Dear all,
We are using BI7.00. for some of our reports, which are executed by program, we have mentioned it in the table and the same will be called by the program to execute the query and generate the files in the respective application server.
I now want to change one of the structure, the name of the structure is /BIC/0CZEX_ZBSP_PP_5. I donot know how this is created whether manually,customising or through any program.
Now i am not able to modify this structure since this is available in only our Quality client of BI and the structure is assigned to the package $TMP.
Can Bi experts throw light to make me understand how this is generated and how to enhnace this structure.

Yes i did check in SE11, the structure is available in BIQAS only, When i tried to create the same in Development of BI it is asking for a package /BIC/ which is not available. It is not allowing me to save in ZBIW package.
I think this is not created using SE11, because the abaper access key is prompted while creating this which we do not have for BIQAS client. This must have been created using customising or other transaction.
I came to know about the RSCRM_BAPI and tried to execute via this - but i get the error 0, error 2 while i execute this.
I am not very sure of how this had been created. Can you or some other experts help me sort this issue.

Extract structure not existing/not active

Hello BWers,
I have transported my Data Mart settings to the new BW prod environment (not yet in production). However I get an error message when importing saying:
"The extract structure /BIC/CE8Z0PCA_C01 of the DataSource 8Z0PCA_C01 is invalid
Message no. R8444
Diagnosis
An invalid extract structure has been assigned to the DataSource. An extract structure has to be active in the DDIC. It cannot be a view, since the customer is not able to add append fields for filling in the customer exits to a view."
I have checed and the structure doesn't exist. It automatically seems to have been added to dev package $TMP (local objects) and was therefor excluded from transport...
Now, what I wonder, is how do I get this missing structure into my production system? I have the data sources, but the actual structure is missing...

hi Fredrik,
seems you post the same questions twice,
as mentioned in your other thread, try 'generate export datasource' in your new production system.

Extract Structure not Being transported with custom Datasource

I'm having trouble transporting a custom datasource from BW 3.5 dev to QAS. The datasource is coming through and showing up in RSA6 but when I click on it I get the following error:
"The extract structure ZOXDBW0123 of the DataSource ZRSPCTRIGTEXT is invalid
Message no. R8444
Diagnosis

Thanks for your input. We managed to get through one of the errors on about the 8th try to transport everything together. It might of had something to do with the way things were being grouped in the packages.
So now were just getting an RJ044 Error: "ZRSPCTRIGTEXT: Only tables and views are permitted for extraction".
I think it may be some kind of program error after all, cause our basis consultant took a look and couldn't figure it out at all either. The transport says that everything is going through, but the view were extracting from is still not showing up in QAS. He suggested we blow everything away and try building the datasource again from scratch. So if we can't figure it out today we may try that route tomorrow.
Anyway, thanks again for all the help.

0FIAR_O09 - Credit Mgmt ODS complete structure not avail in BEX

I'm trying to create a query on ODS 0FIAR_O09 but the structure that I see in RSA1 is not the same in Query Designer. All the infoobjects in the ODS structure do not appear in Query Designer. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any suggestions?

Hi Senthil,
If InfoObjects checked as attributes, they wont get displayed in the Query designer. Check the InfoObject weather its marked as attribute only....

Fileds available in extract structure but not in Datasource.

Hi Dinesh,
I have the solution for this.
Go to contents of the table ROOSFIELD in SE11, give your data source 0MAT_PLANT_ATTR. These steps are to be done in ECC. There you can find the fields of datasource. Trace for your field safety stock.
Double click on that. you will get the details of that field. In that screen, the selection is shown as A, it means hidden.
You have to change it either P or X in debug mode. Then the required field will be available for your datasource.
Do revert in case of queries.

Date of last extraction from DataSource 0HR_PY_PP_2 is not available

Hello all,
We are using this data source to extract data for HR in BW. We are currently on BI 7.0
When I used this datasource in BW development system it worked fine. But now I am trying to extract data using the same datasource in BW QA system and I am getting this error.
"Date of last extraction from DataSource 0HR_PY_PP_2 is not available HR_BIW_PP"
The datasource is delta supported so I am trying to init it, and thats when I am getting this error.
Has anyone seen this message before, can some give some suggestions?

Just quick check, check rsa3 if you can get any data and also it seems like it is complaining about changes in extract structure, can you compare the extract structure of the two system manually? If you have made changes to the extract structure, did you move that change in the source system? Sometimes it worth it to replicate the datasource and reactivate the transfer structure using program RSActiTran.

Changing Selection Fields available in Extract Structure 0FI_AA_11

Hello Experts!
I would just like to ask this question, as I've already consulted with so many people and nobody seems to know if this is possible or not and I've already tried searching for it in the forums to no avail.
The situation is that I am currently full loading data from R/3 to BW, into the ODS 0FI_AA_11. Now, due to the full loading of the data, one load would entail a huge amount of line items around 1 million + lines per load). The loading of the line items per se is successful (as seen in the Details tab in monitor under Processing). However, activation takes quite a long time (8 hours is the longest so far) and it just times-out and we are not sure if the request is still running or not, so often times we are forced to just kill the process.
So given that and seeing that this is a standard ODS, we were thinking of just breaking down the loading into batches of FISCPER (month and year). HOWEVER, the InfoPackage that are associated with the InfoSource being used by the ODS, 0FI_AA_11 only allows for the usage of 3 selection parameters for loading: Depreciation Area, FISCALYEAR, and Company Code.
We have already tried to edit the datasoource in R/3 (RSA6) for this extract structure; however, we are unable to tick the box under the Selection column next to the FISCPER field. From what we understand, this is what allows the datasource to enable that field for selection in the InfoPackage.
We would just like to know if it is possible to edit the extract structure in such a way that we are able to tick this box for the extract structure and if so, how can we do it?

u2022     Log on to the source system.
u2022     Test and debug in extractor checks (RSA3).
u2022     Monitoring running task (SM50).
u2022     Start the extractor with the scheduler in BI.
u2022     Locate the process in the monitor and start troubleshooting.

According the InfoPackage that only allows for the usage of 3 selection parameter for loading: Depreciation Area, FISCALYEAR, and Company Code. If you need to enhance, you should log on to the source system, go to maintaining DataSource.

And add more field in your DataSource structure, to allow select more parameters in your InfoPackage, as FISCPER.

PLIKZ field for COPA data source not there in Extract structure.

Hello all,
When I create a data source for COPA the PLIKZ field from the segment level is not maintained in the Extract structure and it is not replicated to BW also. But the other field GJHAR is maintained in the Extract structure which is also there in the segment level!!
Clarify me why it is not available in extract structure? Also we are in 4.7 version and 3, 5 in BW.

Goto SE11, put the name of your extract structure in Data type and click display, check the version of the structure. if it is inactive then goto RSA6 and activate your DS.
After activation try to retransport.

Append Structure to MCCOMP but not appear in Extract Structure (LBWE)

Dear Experts,
We are using the datasource 2LIS_04_P_COMP
1) We append a field into MCCOMP and MCCOMPB, but that field doesn't appear in the pool of communication structure fields. Therefore, we cannot move from the pool (right side) to extract structure (left side)
2) We need to add a field into MCCOMP, as we need to capture Delta for this field. Is there any user exit that can populate value for this structure?

Follow the steps.
1. Delete Setup tables in LBWG.
2. Clear Q in SMQ1/LBWQ.
3. Delete Q in RSA7.
Then fine the ECC correct client for Customizing and there you can do the changes and activate it. If still it is not allowing and you want to add fields by using enhancements then goto SE11, and give MCCOMP and Append Structure and add fiels and write code in CMOD.

Field DESC_LANGUAGE is not available in structure CRMT_ORDERADM_H_COM

I get the following warning message when I create a CRM ticket from trx notif_create.

I have been looking in notes, forums and google but no help.
Could someone point me the right direction how to fix this, since the user does not get the confirmation of the ticket beeing created nor the number of the ticket.

I have a requirement where i have to generate the Data Source ' 3FI_SL_FS_SI ' using the table YFSP03A .
Using the Tcode: BW03MAST i tried to assign FI-SL to the ledger but it throwed me an error that extract structure does not exit for the table YFSP03A .The reason being that i didnot create an extract structure for the table.So i tried to create it using the Tcode: BW01,but i did not have authorisation for the Transaction and BI team also could not generate as even they were not authorized to generate extract Structures.
So, Please are there any other ways to generate Extract structure for the table so that i can generate the Data source? Or is there any other means of generating the Data Source? And i couldnot access the other Tcodes viz :FAGLBW03, FAGLBW01, FAGLBW02.

Field is there in extract structure but not in RSA6

Hi all,
second time i am asking the same question.
in tcode rsa6, when double click on extract structure i am able to see two fields for size. i have cross checked in tcode lbwe they are on left side only.But still i am not able to see those fields in rsa6.
i have replicated the datasource in bw.Under transfer rule i can those fields in comm. str., but i dont have info object to update the fields.

Hi,
Did you delete the request under scheduler menu of your infopackage?
Scheduler->Init options from the Source system->delete the request
run Init with transfer option now. If it doesn;t help, simply replicate the datasources once and try initializing.
