Extracting Vendor Information
Hi Guys,
Say i am a normal user of a system, and my access is all restricted. What would be the best way to export all the information from vendor master out?
Thanks
Hi Priyanka,
The closest to all the information that i need is MKVZ. But it lacks 1 field, the district field, do you know how to include it?
Hi Vivek,
Sorry about the miscommunication, its suppose to be the users with normal access rights.
Hi Praveen,
are all these special programs?
S_ALR_87012086, S_ALR_87012089, S_ALR_87012087.
Thanks

REJECT_CODE Vendor information and/or Operating Unit information is missing
hi
i am using Oracle Applications : 11.5.10.2.
i am trying to load suppliers and suppliers data into oracle AP.
i tried doing this with some sample data.
i executed the following code below :
insert into AP_SUPPLIERS_INT (VENDOR_INTERFACE_ID, VENDOR_NAME, SEGMENT1, STATUS)
values (*10006*,'XXX Financials2','199999','NEW');
i then ran the following process:
Supplier Open Interface Import
the supplier was added without errors
i then inserted a record into the
AP_SUPPLIER_SITES_INT table :
vendor_interface_id =*10006*,
LAST_UPDATE_DATE= SYSDATE,
LAST_UPDATED_BY ='123',
VENDOR_SITE_CODE = 'true test' ,
CREATION_DATE =SYSDATE ,
CREATED_BY ='123' ,
PURCHASING_SITE_FLAG= 'N' ,
PAY_SITE_FLAG = 'Y' ,
ATTENTION_AR_FLAG = 'N' ,
ADDRESS_LINE1 ='gmmm df' ,
ADDRESS_LINE2 ='gmmm dfdv' ,
ADDRESS_LINE3 ='gmmm dfvdd' ,
ADDRESS_LINE4 ='gmmm dfvdd' ,
PAYMENT_METHOD_LOOKUP_CODE='Check' ,
TERMS_DATE_BASIS ='Current' ,
ACCTS_PAY_CODE_COMBINATION_ID = '1365' ,
PREPAY_CODE_COMBINATION_ID = '1470' ,
PAYMENT_PRIORITY = '99' ,
TERMS_ID= '10001' ,
INVOICE_AMOUNT_LIMIT =20,
PAY_DATE_BASIS_LOOKUP_CODE = 'DISCOUNT' ,
ALWAYS_TAKE_DISC_FLAG= 'A' ,
INVOICE_CURRENCY_CODE ='JMD' ,
PAYMENT_CURRENCY_CODE ='JMD' ,
HOLD_ALL_PAYMENTS_FLAG='N' ,
HOLD_FUTURE_PAYMENTS_FLAG ='N' ,
HOLD_UNMATCHED_INVOICES_FLAG= 'N' ,
EXCLUSIVE_PAYMENT_FLAG= 'N' ,
EXCLUDE_FREIGHT_FROM_DISCOUNT = 'N' ,
ORG_ID= '142' ,
CREATE_DEBIT_MEMO_FLAG= 'N' ,
OFFSET_TAX_FLAG= 'N'
i then ran the following process:
Supplier Sites Open Interface Import
the process completes with a status of 'Normal'.
below is an extract of the output :
Supplier Sites Open Interface Import Execution Repor Page: 1
Import Options: All
Batch Size: 1000
Print Exceptions Only: No
Sites Open Interface Audit Report
Org Id Supplier Number Supplier Name Site Name
Total Sites Imported: 0
*** No Data Exists for this Report ***
Sites Open Interface Rejections Report
Org Id Supplier Number Supplier Name Site Name Reason
Total Sites Rejected: 0
when i checked the AP_SUPPLIER_SITES_INT table ,
the REJECT_CODE field has the value *'Vendor information and/or Operating Unit information is missing.'*
I THINK ALL THE REQUIRED FIELDS ARE POPULATED
why am i recieving this error ? is this caused by a bug? is there a required field that i didn't populated ?
please help me to solve this ....
thanks much!!Hi,
Could you please check : Doc ID: 316368.1 of Metalink...
Symptoms_+
The Supplier Site Contacts Open Interface Import program is not importing certain contact
information.
The Supplier Site Contacts Open Interface Import Execution Report shows the following Rejection
Reason:
Vendor information and/or Operating Unit information is missing
Cause_+
The Last_name field is a required field.
As per the Oracle Payables User's Guide.
Appendix G-111
AP_SUP_SITE_CONTACT_INT chart shows the LAST_NAME is a Required field
Solution_+
As per the Oracle Payables User's Guide.
Appendix G-111
AP_SUP_SITE_CONTACT_INT chart shows the LAST_NAME is a Required field
If you test this out directly in the Suppliers window in Oracle Payables:
Navigation: Suppliers-Entry
Queried up a Supplier, then clicked into the Site field under the Contact tab.
Entered the contact information and omitted the Last Name, when trying to save the record,
the system gives the following message:
*'FRM-40202: Field must be entered' and the cursor is on the Last Name field. This is a required*
field and is the intended functionality.
Hope this will help

How to select Vendor information as per the line item of the shopping cart
SRM ABAPers,
I want to create a custom report and needs to produce SC's item details with vendor's information.
So I want to select the vendor information(including the partner function- 00000019 or 00000039) as per the line item of the shopping cart, which SRM table can give me this information?
Thank you!
MPHi,
To get the SC item details,you an use the FM 'BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL".
Also to get the vendor details,you can use the FM "BBP_PARTNER_GET_PURCH_DATA_NEW".

Error while extracting Vendor Data from R/3 system
Hi all,
I am trying to extract vendor data from R/3(ECC6.0) system to XI using Tcode MDM_CLNT_EXTR.
already I have maintained partner profile for the same.
I have given the necessary details like Creditor_extract,Target System and Distribution Mode as initial load.asusaully extraction process started and I found error in log file like"Table MASTER_IDOC_DATA is empty". Please help me if anyboday have idea about this.
Thanks in Advance,
Ravi.Hi Ravi,
you've got to set up the message type MDMRECEIPT for the Idoc distribution from R/3 to XI. Check chapter 5.2 in the IT configuration guide available on <a href="http://service.sap.com/installmdm">MDM Documentation Center</a>. It describes the necessary steps.

Hello all,
I have doubt in GL. Can I get vendor information and Invoice details in GL.
Please guide me to understand...
Thanks and Regards,
MuthuHi Kevin,
Try using a screen variant using transaction SHD0. You can check for an existing variant using the program (SAPLFDCB) and screen number (70). Use the system/status menu path from FB60 to find the program if the one I provided doesn't work.
If a screen variant doesn't exist, create a new one. The available fields from the vendor master may be limited. You can research adding new ones if they are not in the list. You can hide or display existing fields.
Good luck!

Hello,
Is it possible to modify what vendor master data information is displayed in FB60 in the Vendor information box to the right of the header tabs? Currently we are only seeing address information and would like to add additional fields from the vendor master.

SC - Contract and vendor information disappear afeter change plant
Dear friends,
I'm using SRM 5.5 and i have the follow problem:
I create a SC using a item registered in MDM 2.0 the item has contract information and vendor information, but there is not information about plant.
The SC get the contract and vendor information but i need sometimes change the plant and when a change the plant the information about catalog and vendor disappear.
I tried use the BADI BBP_SOS_BADI to recover contract and vendor information, but in this moment i don't have how to get contract information because the catalog information disappear.
I'm using the classic scenario so i don't create contract in SRM just in backend System.
Thanks.
Roberto Aran.Hi
Could see the plant data in the SC( Ship to address/ Performance location)

Sales order does not extract plant information from material master data
Hi experts,
I have created a sales order. However, the plant in the shipping tab can only be manually entered.
I have made the check:
the customer material master data does not have the plant info.
the customer master data does not have it either.
It is defined in the material master data: sales:general/plant
But the sales order did not extract this information. Why does this happen?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
FanHello Friend,
As right stated by you,
The Plant will be copied from the master data to the sales order, if not it should be manually entered
The Sequence System will search for the Plant is as follow..
1. Customer material infor record, If it was not maintained then it will search in
2. Customer master, if the entre was not maintained in the SHIPPING TAB
3. Finally it will search in the Material master in the Sales organisation data 1 in the field DELVERING PLANT field.
So please search whether the entry was maintained in that field at the sales:sales organisation data 1.
This might be the issue.
Please revert if you want further details

0SD_C03 Sales Overview and Vendor Information
Hello,
I am using BI 2004s with Business Content 3.5. I would like to create a sales report such as sales by vendor. I am using the Sales Overview cube 0SD_C03 and tried to use the vendor information as an attribute from the material characteristic in this cube but the vendor information is empty. I am told by our consultant that this is because it is not part of standard business content.
My question is: Is there any other way to get Sales (billings) by vendor? What have other people used to get Sales by vendor. Have they just made a change to standard business content to include Vendor information?
Thanks.Hi
The best option in this case in enhancing the business content by adding the required field Vendor and populating the related values
Before that you can check in R/3 whether any standard reports are there which lists of Sales by vendor. If such a report exists, you can just replicate the report to complete your task
One suggestion
Please check the following report in R/3 ..S_ALR_87014367. whether is fit for your requirement or search some other reports
Assign points if useful

Extracting pointer information and displaying it as an image
Hey,
I am using Intel's OpenCV image processing library in LabVIEW.
There's a pointer to a struct IplImage that is passed around in order to run image processing functions.
The struct IplImage is defined as:
typedef struct _IplImage
int nSize; /* sizeof(IplImage) */
int ID; /* version (=0)*/
int nChannels; /* Most of OpenCV functions support 1,2,3 or 4 channels */
int alphaChannel; /* ignored by OpenCV */
int depth; /* pixel depth in bits: IPL_DEPTH_8U, IPL_DEPTH_8S, IPL_DEPTH_16U,
IPL_DEPTH_16S, IPL_DEPTH_32S, IPL_DEPTH_32F and IPL_DEPTH_64F are supported */
char colorModel[4]; /* ignored by OpenCV */
char channelSeq[4]; /* ditto */
int dataOrder; /* 0 - interleaved color channels, 1 - separate color channels.
cvCreateImage can only create interleaved images */
int origin; /* 0 - top-left origin,
1 - bottom-left origin (Windows bitmaps style) */
int align; /* Alignment of image rows (4 or 8).
OpenCV ignores it and uses widthStep instead */
int width; /* image width in pixels */
int height; /* image height in pixels */
struct _IplROI *roi;/* image ROI. when it is not NULL, this specifies image region to process */
struct _IplImage *maskROI; /* must be NULL in OpenCV */
void *imageId; /* ditto */
struct _IplTileInfo *tileInfo; /* ditto */
int imageSize; /* image data size in bytes
(=image->height*image->widthStep
in case of interleaved data)*/
char *imageData; /* pointer to aligned image data */
int widthStep; /* size of aligned image row in bytes */
int BorderMode[4]; /* border completion mode, ignored by OpenCV */
int BorderConst[4]; /* ditto */
char *imageDataOrigin; /* pointer to a very origin of image data
(not necessarily aligned) -
it is needed for correct image deallocation */
IplImage;
I am having problems with closing OpenCV's GUI window when called from LabVIEW in Linux. A solution to this may be to not use OpenCV's GUI window in LabVIEW for Linux, but rather pass back the pointer to the processed image in LabVIEW. From that pointer, we can send it to a C wrapper to extract some information that we want from the struct in order and pass back those values to LabVIEW. Then LabVIEW will process those values and display the image. What will I need to extract from the pointer (via a C wrapper) in order to display the image onto LabVIEW?
I attached a LabVIEW example that I found. This example loads and displays an image. I am thinking of doing something similar to that. Instead of loading an image from the file dialog, I will pass all of the necessary information to Draw Flattened Pixmap.

Picture4.vi 56 KBMy description of my problems with interfacing OpenCV with LabVIEW is contained in this discussion
Basically, the code works in C in Linux, C in Windows, LabVIEW for Windows, but not in LabVIEW for Linux.
We finally were able to get OpenCV to interface with LabVIEW for Linux by doing some complex edition to make install. However, LabVIEW was still having trouble with the function to close all HighGUI windows. Even though it went through the function, it will not close the HighGUI window. Also the HighGUI window freezes and when it eventually closes, it crashes LabVIEW.
When I test it by writing C programs, the function does what it is supposed to do. -
Buy from and Pay to vendor Information
Hi All,
I am trying to findout "Buy from" and "Pay To" vendor information from SAP table. Actually the client does not enter "pay to vendor" in vendor master data of the "Buy from" vendor as a partner. So in vendor master data of the "buy from" vendor I am not able to find the "Pay to" vendor information. But the client performs invoice verification against a vendor which is not the "buy from" vendor. I can do this by going to PO history and see against which vendor MIRO has been done. But when I am dealing with lot of data, it is difficult to do one by one. Can any body help me how to fetch this data in SAP table?Hi all.
Forgive my ignorance, but if i do a clean install of leopard, how does it know what machine I am using. From what i see, the install disks that come with my laptops/imacs/mac pro all have a different 'disk 1' and the same 'disk 2' I assume on disk 1 is all the hardware specific things.. and disk 2 is generic.
Am i thinking too 'windows' and that the install is intelligent to know what the machine is, and then install the relevant applications/shortcuts/keyboards etc?
Is it better to do a clean install rather than an upgrade? Or am i thinking too 'windows' again?
Cheers! -
Exposing MDM vendor information through the Portal
We are looking to expose certain MDM vendor information (such as; create, modify, etc) through the Portal and allow the users to update their information via the portal.
For example, vendor X will log onto the portal, they will only see their specific vendor details and will be able to modify their address, bank details, etc... through a number of iViews.
Please assume that we will be using the latest version of MDM (5.5 SP3?) and EP6.0 SP14.
My questions are:
- is there a business package that will provide us with that specific functionality?
- if not what is the best way (if it is actually possible) of exposing this functionality through the portal (I guess we would need to create a web dynpro component)?
Many thanksHi James,
We have business package for MDM SP3 with some built-in iviews, which was released in Nov/Dec 2005. They also have create/modify iviews.
But they don't have iViews to add to a qualified table. In your case for Bank details I don't think you can use the existing iviews.
Thanks
