Extractor name

Hi there,
Please some one give the name of extractor of following datasources.
2lis_02_itm, 2lis_02_hdr, 2lis_02_scl.

The extracotr is MCEX_BW_LO_API, and it is same for all.
You can check the ROOSOURCE table on R/3 side by giving your datasource name , you get the extractor name if you need.

Not sure exactly what you're looking for but extractors generally follow a relatively simple procedure, i.e. SC extractor is 0BBP_TD_SC_1 and so on.

Find out the Extractor names from the Table name

Hello, I wanted to know given a name of the table in ecc, if there is any way to check which extractors have used this table.
for example, I have a table name VBAP and I want to see the list of the extractors that are extracting data from this table.
I tried se11 in ecc, gave the table name and looked the where used list but it doesn't have any options for extractors. I checked all the options with no luck.

By using table we won't find data source as you need.
By experience we can guess the data sources.
Actually in SAP we 3 category type of applications like
1. Human resources(HR)
2. Logistics(LO)
3. Financial(FI).
based on application also we have standard data sources as well. Based on table name, you can check the available standard data sources.
Please check thru in that way.

How to find the list of Keyfigures in a particular Extractor RSA3

Hi,
I have a list of extractors where I need to find out Keyfigures for all the extractors.
do we have any table or program to list the keyfigures for a particular extractor.
That would be really a great helpful.

1. Go to tcode - RSA2.
2 . Give the extractor name in the datasource field and choose display.
3. you can view the keyfigures of the extractor over there .

Table Name in R/3

Hi,
How do i get the table name using the structure while looking the technical help in R/3 for the fields in the reports.
when i see at the F1 help for technical information in the fields of the queries in ECC. I get technical name of the field and te structure name at times. Is there a way to find the exact database table name in which the field is present once the structure is known or any table with the help of which the purpose could be served or any table that can tell what all tables this field is coming from. Any pointers,help would be appreciated.

Hi Puneet,
1) You can check with the functional team regarding the same.
2) You can take the field names in the strcture and check in DD03L and enter ur technical name of the field in FIELDNAME column you will get all the table names ,struturs,views where it s used and we have to manuallly go through those.
3) Check the details documented for standard extractors in hep.sap.com - bicontent.
4) Post your requirement or extractor name and sdn will certainly help u to get the tables.

Missing new fields in generic extractor but present in table view

I can't see new fields in generic extractor but they are present in the table view.
Few days ago I created a generic datasource based on table view. Now I included 2 more fields in the table view but these fields doesn't show in RSA6 and RSO2.
how can i resolve this.

Hi Bhat,
GO to RSA5 and give ur generic extractor name ....
Click on edit the newly added fields will be hided ...so u need to uncheck the hide olumn
once this is done save that.
U will find the fields in RSA3 and RS02

How to find Table Name and Field Names given a Data Source

Hi,
I tried ROOSOURCE table in R/3 to find the Extract Structure and Extractor names for a specific data source, let us say 2LIS_02_ITM (PO Item Level).
I know the extract structure for this data source is MCO2M_0ITM
I am not able to find where this structure is extracting the data for every field.. I wanted to know the corresponding table name and the respective field names.. Both the existing and Appended fields..

Generic Extractor source code

Hi ,
I made a generic extraction. I can find the extractor name in ROOSOUCE table. The extractor names are getting generated for all my generic datasources, But im not able to view the souce code of my extractor in se37 or se38. Can any one guide me how to find my source code for my generic extraction. Is it possible to see?

The step by step procedure is as follows:
Create your extract structure (let's name it EXTRSTR); this extract structure will have a field on which your Delta (of type timestamp or other supported); its name: DELTAFLD.
create a function module (EXTRFM) as a copy of RSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_SIMPLE.
Create a generic DSource (GENDS) based on EXTRSTR and FM EXTRFM. Enable this generic DS for delta, type timestamp on field DELTAFLD.

Goto rsa3 , give the extractor name , Check the debug mode and execute it. it will take u to the code . If u want to check the code u have written put a break point there and then run.
else goto RSA2 give the name of ur DS .there u can get all the in formation of the DS. Goto extractor double click on it .it will take u to the code.

HI,
You can debug the extractor from RSA3. Give your extractor name and then check the Debugging box, give any selection criteria, if need be and then execute.
Usually in Production box debug option is not available at some places. So check if you have it or not. In case you dont have it you can try Quality. For debugging, give the selection conditions in such a way that you get better data for debugging, in which ever environment you are debugging.

You're correct...the 2LIS_06_INV DataSource contains vendor invoice information from an MM perspective. This DataSource reflects the three-way match data that's used for determining if/when an invoice is posted to Acocunts Payable.
So, the originator of this thread has both the FI and MM perspectives of vendor invoices, depending on what their requirements are.
