Extractor not picking delta data

Hi All ,
I have a very peculiar problem with extractor 2LIS_02_SCN .
The Delta data's are not getting captured in BW as well as in the RSA3 .This is happening for few PO's .
I checked the extractor debugger as well (in RSA3) , but it shows only 1 record which is already there in BW , but the new delta data is not available in RSA3 as well .Deltas are running fine everyday . I also checked in the underlying table EKES for the Vendor Confirmations , I can see 2 records ie the previous as well as the changed records . Now my Problem is why the extractor is not pulling the new changed record . We have Update Mode in R/3 as Direct Delta
Note : There were no filling of set tables done since long time. set up tables are working fine .
Could anybody help me in this issue .

Hi sidhartha,
SAP says :
<i>To improve performance, this DataSource contains no information about scheduling agreements. This also applies to returns items, service items, and limit items.</i>
So check whether your records(which are not extracted) are belongs to any one of above types.

Webi does not pick correct Data

Hi Guys,
I have a webi. The Universe for the Webi is based on Bex Query. I see correct Data in Bex Query but when I create a webi report it does not pick correct data.
I have checked following points already:-
1] No Resstriction at Query Level
2] No restriction at Universe Level
3] No Filters/ Restriction at Webi Level.
Can anyone suggest whats happening?

Hi Ray,
It happens sometimes that data gets aggregated over all the dimension objects present in the 'Available Objects' section in webi.
Try to pull only the characteristics present in the row section of the bex query say 'X' and measure in the column section of bex query say 'Y' into the results pane in the edit query window in webi.Then run the report and check.
This will give you the idea about aggregation.

Notification classification extractor not trigger delta

I am facing the same .we have created custom data source for Notification classification using notification master data extractor(0NOTIFICATN_ATTR) but delta is not trigger for any changes in the notification line items..

In SAP standard, the DataSource 0NOTIFICATN_ATTR is not DELTA compatible.

Text File is not picking with data

Hi Experts,
I am doing file to file scenario without IR as file will be generated by the ECC system and places in SAP FTP App Server.
My job is to pick up the file and send it to the Third Party Application Server.
But when i am picking up the Text file the data in the file is converting into special characters like below format.

I have tested with other Application server with same file its working fine, but when i send the file from SAP FTP Appl server the data is converting in the above format.
Right now when i open file zilla it is opening with 3 FTP Appl Server in that suppose lets say the FTP are APP1, APP2, APP3.
1.When i send the file from APP1 through Transport Protocol NFS System the file is picking up and placing successfully in the Third Party APP3 App Server fiolder but the data in the file is converting into special charaters.
2.when i send the same file from APP2 through Transport Protocal FTP the file is picking up and placing successfully in the third party APP3 App server and here the same data is coming in the text file, there is no data conversion.
I am not getting here, when i send the file from APP1 the data is converting but when i send the same file from APP2 App srever the data is posting correctly.
And also i can give you one more info.. if i try with puting the Transport Protocal as FTP in APP1 then i am getting error in sender comm channel as 'log on attempt by User JOHN rejected' : contact your FTP server vendor.
But i think for sending the file from SAP Appl Server we can use TP as NFS rather than FTP.
And also i can give one more info: The Version is the ECC system is using the 4.6c for which there is no compatability for unicodes.
Can anyone please advise what would be the wrong.

Reason because file is not picked up.

clearly user/password for this FTP server or system is not correct. Get correct userid/password for your Application server where you are trying to poll.

File transfer is nothing to unicode here.

Query is not picking the data from multiprovider

Hi All,
i have defined a query on a multiprovider which is made up of three ods one from sales orders, delivery, and billing but when i run the query ...its not picking up order quantity for some sales orders and also its not picking all the items available for that orders...but for some orders its picking up the order quantity but not delivery quantity...
order quantity is coming from sales orders ods and delivery quantity is coming form delivery ods, billing quantity is coming from billing ods...can somebody help me with a suggestion like what could be ther problem...
any sugestions will be highly appreciated.

XI Adapter Engine Not picking the data from FTP Server ?t

Hi All
We have upgraded oracle in our landscape
from 10.0.2.0.2 to 10.2.0.4.0
we have Redwood System , which runs the interfaces
Redwood initiates Our Satellite XI system to pick the data from the ftp server
but after the upgrade , it is not able to pick the data from the ftp server .
when checked in the Satellite XI Adapter engine getting following error
"XI Engine Error occurred while connecting to the ftp server java.net.socketException:Connection Reset"
but we are able to ftp from Satellite XI Adapter engine to ftp system manually but why Satellite XI Adapter engine is not the
picking the file (ie data) from the ftp server.

Please give me the FTP connection parameters mentioned in the channel.
Did you try stopping and starting the channel ?
If not please stop and start the channel.
Also catch the default trace and paste it.

Essbase members not picking up data values

Gurus,
I have some members in my JOB CODE hierarchies, such as 100, 200, 300 ETC.
Now I have added 100A, 200A, etc to the hierarchy. 100A is the sibling of 100, 200A is the sibling of 200, so forth.
Now, 100A, 200A, etc (the ones with the alphabet A is not picking up the values/percentages, while doing a pushdown.
Is it because of the ALPHANUMERIC member names?
Essbase allows such names right? or Do I need to change any setting/properties, etc like that?

the answer is it depends. It is not Essbase itself that would not allow those member names as all member names are really text even if they look numeric. The problem could be in your script to "Push down" data. it could be doing some match based on UDA or member format. without seeing the pushdown script, I can't determine what could be your issue. It could even be a block creation issue, but who knows.

SD delivary report not pick up data from ship-to-party

I have a report which is pick up data from likp, lips,kna1.But when ever i execute this program it will display report.But in my report the ship-to-party and sold-to-party data will not display in my report. This report is open delivary report. Any one can give me solution.

Sender JDBC adapter not picking up data

Hi,
I'm using an adpater to poll dta from two tables using the below query:
SELECT TPartOrderMaster., (the editor convert the star to bold),   TPartOrderDetail.    FROM TPartOrderMaster INNER JOIN TPartOrderDetail ON TPartOrderMaster.OdrNo = TPartOrderDetail.OdrNo WHERE (((TPartOrderMaster.DocStatusCode)='OA'))
UPDATE TPartOrderMaster SET LastUpdatedDate= GETDATE(), DocStatusCode='OP' WHERE DocStatusCode ='OA'
However, the adapter doesn't pick any data and gives the below log continuously.

I have tried running th equery in the SQL server and it works properly.
I even tried restarting the adapter, inactivating and activating it, restarted the adapter in Visual admin. There are no locks for the jdbc adapter in the Visual admin.
Can anyone please suggest what other measures can I take to solve this issue.

I doubt whether this works with Jdbc adapter even though the query fetches data when executed on database. The query selects two tables (TPartOrderMaster and TPartOrderDetail) which could be problamatic. Instead can you list out the resultant table(after join) fields in Select query instead of table names?

Asset history sheet not picking Aw01n data

Dear SAP experts,
Would anybody know any reasons why report S_ALR_87011990 (Depreciation Area 15 - Revaluation) is not bringing expected data?
Output is showing Zero but if you click in the lines, it will call up AW01N view correctly. Problem is in the output of 87011990 History sheet.
However, if you run Asset list via S_ALR_87011964, data comes up correclty and if you click in each line, it will also call up AW01N asset explorer view.

BW not picking Delta

Hi,
I've created one generic extractor in CRM. The delta field used is Timestamp and have given Upper Safety Interval as 1800 seconds and Lower as blank.
When I test delta in RSA3, it brings records. But when I extract in BW it brings 0 records.
Any idea what could be the issue?

Hi,
Check in RSA7 in the source system,check your datasource is it showing any changed records,that to be transferred.
if it is showing 0 then there is no changed records,so your IP is picking 0 records.
Are you in 7.0,then your data will come till PSA only by infopackage.Then you have to use DTP to load it to the datatarget.
Otherwise may be your delta mechanism is corrupted.
Then delete the init flag >> then init without data transfer >> then run delta.

Report not picking correct data

Is it possible for vendor aging report to dispaly for Particular Vendor the
amount ( bsik-dmbtr ) using Purchase organization field.
There are two Purchase Organizations C100 ( for CPU ) and D100 ( for Monitor ) in my case.
data is picked from bsik , lfm1 ,lfa1 tables.
Example : if D100 is for Monitor-screen and has amount 1000.
c100 is for CPU and has amount 2000.
In that case report with Vendor , comp code, Pur. Orga and period should disply
c100 amount 2000.
D100 amount 1000.
my report is showing that vendor is existing for C100 or D100.
but for vendor that exist in both C100 and D100. ( Say vendor number 200 )
the amount is coming for vendor number 200 in c100 and d100 equal to 1000.
but it should come c100 = 2000
and for d100 = 1000.

KE30 is not picking the data from summarization level

Hi Techies,
We are facing one issue in KE30 tcode.
We are able to run the same report in our QLTY, its showing "Data is getting fetched the data from summarization level 33" and we can see the output within 5 mins, But if we use same parameters in PRO, its showing "Data is getting fetched from segment level".
So we are not getting data in PRO, its throwing TIME_OUT error....
Request you to suggest how we can map these summarization level to the particular report.
*We have already rebuilt and refreshed the summarization levels, then also it is being picked from segment level.

Hi,
In KE30 right click on the report. Click on change. Go to the options tab. In the performnace block check if radio button "use a summarization level" is selected.
If the customizing is correct then the select stamenet generated by the report may not be in sync with the summ level i.e. the chars in the selection of the report must be there in the summ level.

Report RWVMIPAD not picking Sales Data

Hi ALL
I am executing a scenario for VMI(Vendor Managed Inventory) in which i am treating one client as Customer and the other as Vendor. In the customer client i want to send the current stock and the sales data to the vendor system for which i am using a report RWVMIPAD which gives only the current stock for the material under consideration. It however dos not give any detail of the sales data - i have already 2 sales order created.
Can you please let me know what additional setting needs to be done to have this data picked in the report.

*Manager Self Service Reminder of Dates not picking anniversary dates*

The standard MSS work overview page has a standard I-View for Reminder of dates which includes the service anniversary dates.
Technical Name iView -- com.sap.pct.erp.mss.reminderofdates
Technical Name Web Dynpro application -- sap.com/mss~rod/ReminderOfDatesApp
Details Component -- MSS_ROD_TRGT_GENERALDATA
Object Selection I.D -- MSS_ROD_SEL1
The data source for this view is RFC function module called: HRMSS_RFC_RD_DATES_GETLIST which uses in which is used FM 'HRWPC_RD_DATES_GETLIST_INTERNA' and within that 'HR_ENTRY_DATE'.
My requirement is to have this iview to display the service anniversaries with respect to a specific Custom Date type.
But in standard i find that the date is picked from the standard date type 01 and if date type"01" is not maintained then the BEGDA from the first records in table PA0000 for that employee
In R/3 i have made the necessary configuration to change the selection rule BIFU (Used in class BIFU in Valuation model SENI - Entry in T77SO for ADMIN-LOSRV-SENI is available) to have set the priority of date type as 1 and have mentioned the Date type.
And the service anniversary report when executed from R/3 gives the desired results.
But in the portal i find that the iview is not reflecting the changes.
Please help me with a solution as soon as possible.

If you read the documentation for the MSS Business Package on help.sap.com for that particular iView, it tells you what settings are exposed to you and what is possible (like for example, showing it is an employee's birthday but not showing the year so as not to show age). It also tells you what kind of dates will display and where they are coming from. Past that, you would be looking at customization via code.
