the Inquiry looks so:

result: - 5
I Receive the necessary result. But in inquiry I address on an index, and it is necessary by name. Help please. If to write inquiry so -
select extractValue(d.xml_info,'/PLAN/KP[komp@plan="CS"]/PROCENT') "procent" from documents d where obj_id=5880361;
(it is written in the information(inquiry)) - deduces an empty line. Beforehand thank. I ask sorry for my bad English.

The inquiry written by you has fulfilled correctly.
But the reference goes on an index, and it is necessary by name.
my query -
select nvl(extractValue(d.xml_info,'/PLAN/KP[komp@plan="CS"]/PROCENT'),0) from documents d where obj_id=5880361;
return 0
next my query -
select nvl(extractValue(d.xml_info,'/PLAN/KP[1]/PROCENT'),0) from documents d where obj_id=5880361;
return 10 (this correct value)
Both these of inquiry address to the same record in the table.
The first by name, and the second on an index.
These two inquiries should return one and too value.
But correctly that addresses on an index works only (/PLAN/KP[1]/PROCENT).
Oracle v. 9.2.0.2.0
