Extreme Music, can't use Audio - conso

How can i use Audio console?
Cant set it to game mode etc.
Also cant set the EQ, crystalizer etc etc.
If i start the program everything seems normal, but when i turn crystalizer on/off i hear no difference, also volume control EQ nothing works!
I'm using Vista 32 Bit.
I want to use Crystalizer.... And switching to Game mode.
Can someone pleae help me?

Did not know that rMBP didn't have audio...
I had a USB headset that was a regulard headset with a USB adapter. When the headset broke, I got a cable that split the three part connector of the iPhone headset and then plugged that into the usb port and it works fine.
In any case, USB tends to be a cleaner audio source but ymv.

    You need an external audio-soundcard for USB. That's the only way to deal with this.

    Apple uses proprietary settings for their "extend a wireless network" feature, which are designed to only allow other Apple device to extend the network. Therefore, it is extremely unlikely that a Linksys product would be able to wirelessly extend an Apple network.
    If you plan to connect the Linksys 54G to the Apple AirPort Extreme using a wired Ethernet connection, then you could set up the Linksys router to provide more wireless signal coverage that way. Configure the Linksys router in bridge mode to provide a wireless network using the same wireless network name, same wireless security setting and same password as the Apple network.

    I am always able to connect to iChat with my .Mac account and were able to chat (text chat) with others. But I would like to use the Voice Chat and Video Chat features as well. So I tried and the results are as follows. (I have done all updates recently and there are no more updates available)

    When I receive a call, it rings and the same procedures take place and the same error would show up.

    Hi,
    Somewhat for others.
    If your ISP is offering a VoIP service and blocking the SIP ports the normal solution is to tell them that they are blocking an App you were using and they will normally unblock the ports for free.
    This may be because they have not told anybody that they are going to block ports.
    It may also e that SIP is an International Standard and that blocking the end user implies they block their use full stop (which they shouldn't).

    If you tells us what modem you have we may be able to tell you more on how it should be set up for iChat.
    It is possible that it only has the default ports below the 1024 threshold open as standard (Web Browsing and Mail will be OK).

  • Adobe Presenter can not use audio output after 10.8 upgrade

    Hi,
    I just upgraded from Snow Leopard (10.6.8) to MTL (10.8). All went smooth apart from the fact the when I launch adobe presener (flash) over any browser in MacOS, it can not play the audio part. It used to with 10.6.8.
    The problem persists after rebooting the Mac. Other Apps (iTunes) use the audio just fine. So, it's something specific to the path of code that Adobe flash is using (?). The funny part is that when I launch VMware Fusion and a Windows7 VM, I can use the audio for the same application. So, it's the MAC part that's broken. Any ideas? Maybe I'm missing an updated plugin or something?

    There's no change if I hold command-R to boot into recovery. The mac chimes on powerup but nothing else seems to happen.
    The machine has an SSD drive in it so I can't even listen to hear if it is loading anything or acting differently when I try different keypresses.
    As I had some spare RAM lying around, I've tried swapping that in but no change there either. I still suspect it's a software rather than hardware problem, but without any way to control the boot up, I'm not sure how I can fix it.
    I do have remote time machine backups - is there any way of restoring these manually, perhaps by removing the drive from the mac and copying the backup data over using another system? (Unfortunately I don't have any other mac systems to experiment with this, though)

  • Can't use audio or video feature - only text

    I don't use iChat too frequently, but have used it in the past successfully, in text, audio, and video modes. The last two times I have tried to use it, however, I get error messages saying that the other person has "cancelled the connection" when in fact they have not.     If the Audio and Video icons at the bottom of the Buddy list are not active and the Buddies show no green A/V icons I would think they are either logged in on the Google Mail page or they are using the GoogleTalk app on a PC.
    iChat will uses a GoogleTalk Buddy list to Video to other iChat users that are using a Googletalk or Jabber ID as both ends will be using the same Connection Protocols.
    The App on a PC and the Web Mail page uses different Protocols and will not do Video or Audio with iChat.

  • Can you use audio chat with PCs with microphones?

    Is there a simple way to link audio chat between Windows and Mac?

    You can audio-chat with a PC user with the latest version of AIM and a mic (on the PC). On the Mac side though, you need to have a camera (camcorder or iSight) plugged in. You cannot audio-chat with a PC AIM user without a camera.
    I use my powerbook 1.33 GHz, iChat AV3 and my Sony DV camcorder (FW) to audio-chat with friends using PCs eqipped with AIM and just a mic. No problems at all.

  • Need help: just upgraded to Mavericks, now can't use audio interface.

    I just upgraded to mavericks, and now Itunes and my other programs don't recognize my audio interface.
    It's a MobilePre USB preamp. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the driver without success. Interesting, QuickTime sends audio to the external preamp, the sound is filled with static. I've tried playing with latency, but that doesn't help.
    I can't understand why Quicktime recognizes the external device, but Itunes doesn't. Suggestions are appreciated.
    My machine is 21.5 inch late 2009 model with a 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 12 GB of RAM.

    If this is correct perhaps an email to Avid could help. I would think that they need to update their drivers to suit Mavericks.
    There is also a link on that page to an article about Pro Tools and state that it is not supported on Mavericks at this time.

  • 5530 Xpress Music - Can not use "find" option

    Hope someone can help.  This problem started last week.  When I go to File Manager and then try to "find" a file, instead of the screen moving on to give options of which memory source I want to find a file in, it goes back to the previous screen (either the home screen or menu screen). This means I am unable to search for files on the phone.  It did resolve spontaneously for a few days but the problem has returned.  Any ideas?  I have had no problems with this until last week.

    the biggest issue ive found with the "find" option is that if you dont type in EXACTLY what something is labled it doesnt find it. so if youre looking for a file called "blue_red" and you just type "blue red" it doesnt recognize it because it not exact. i have actually given up using the find option compleatly because of this. .also there can be files on the phone that you can see when the phone is plugged into your computer using the usb that you cannot access or even see on the phone itself.

    As it says in the *FCP User Manual (III-374):*
    Clips must have handles if you want to transition between them.
    In order to get some handles, you will need to trim your clips. Read the manual section on rolling, it is a very helpful tool to understand.

    I have a few CDs from my public library that contain magnetic strips on the title side of the discs (I think this is to prevent theft). When I checked out the CDs, the strips were demagnetized.
    So my question is: can I put these CDs into my iMac's optical drive without damaging the computer?

    What I would do, is first turn the computer off so that the disc grabbing mechanism isn't on. Then try inserting the disc into the slot. If you meet with any kind of resistance trying to put it in, don't risk it. If it slides in and out smoothly when you're doing it by hand, then you're probably safe.
