Extremely depressed right now please help :(
I just hate pc gaming sometimes. Always upgrading and having all this trouble.
So I recieved my mobo with cpu today only to realize that my mobo has only 1 ide channel. I have 4 drivers (2 HD and 2 cd drives). Now im forced to buy a new hd in sata format. Not only that Im really scared right now that my motherboard is defective. It has a mind of its own. If I turn off the computer and turn it back on it will start up after 5 tries or so, so now im afraid to turn off my computer. Oh and my mobo is the k9n neo v3
I should have saw this coming :(. Now I really dont wanna go out and buy a mobo with two ide channels and have to rebuild everything so can anyone PLEASE confirm for me that if I have a sata harddrive, Will my mobo automatically recongnize it? I have some very important data on my IDE hardrive so can I connect my sata and ide HD both at the same time then transfer the data from my IDE hd to my SATA?

I have 1 Western digital drive 250 gb and the other is an ibm 40 gb. My cd drives are a liteon and sony DVD rom. Im using XP Pro and my PS is 500 watt 3.3=30 amps, 5.0= 30amps and 12v1=16 amps http://www.ultraproducts.com/product_details.php?cPath=52&pPath=383&productID=383

As far as your boot problem goes there is no sense in even trying to guess untill further system details are provided as that's another story unto itself.
And please provide brand and model plus amps for +3.3V, +5.0V and +12V from label on PSU. Any more than that is not needed for PSU info.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

i have downloaded OS X Yosemite using recovery from boot but while installing error occuring showing unable to extract essential.pkg so can't install. problem is i have already formatted my drive and dont have any os right now. only the downloaded new os x yosemite in the os x base system. please help
Please try again after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already taken.
Step 1
Reset your computer’s PRAM.
Step 2
If your model has user-replaceable memory, and you've upgraded the memory modules, reinstall the original memory and see whether there's any improvement. Be careful not to touch the gold contacts. Clean them with a mild solvent such as rubbing alcohol. Aftermarket memory must exactly match the technical specifications of the machine.
Step 3
Back up all data to at least two different storage devices, if you haven't already done so. One backup is not enough to be safe. The backups can be made with Time Machine or with Disk Utility. Preferably both.
Erase and install OS X. This operation will destroy all data on the startup volume, so you had be better be sure of the backups.
Step 4
Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider to have the machine tested. -
Just purchased my macbookpro last week. Ever since a couple of days ago I have had a prompt that has been randomly coming up telling me to there is a problem and that i need to shut down immediately. I can't close out of my work, since the screen is frozen in the background.
Also right before this happened today, my Word Microsoft did not want to open; saying that it cannot support " norm. doc" or xtml doc. Then as i was selectin yes to continue, Word opened, and for about a minute it was working, then the computer screen froze and the shut-down prompt black box showed on the screen.
When i restarted my computer again, this time i tried opening Word again, and after getting it open and starting a document, it wouldn't let me save the doc. It kept bring up a box saying that it was not able to save it under the title i gave it. I was just typing in all lowercase letters, like i've saved many word documents before.
I undertstand that these two problems might be completely different things.
My theory about these problems could have something to do with my installment of the anti-virus/security sofware i downloaded from KimKomando(under Security in "download" section, title under " Mac Anti-Virus") here is the url :

Ok so i just updated to windows 7 ultimate 32 bit and for some reason i have no ethernet drivers or wifi drivers so i cant connect to the internet in any way on my pc! HELP ME!
Hi: Here is the ethernet driver you need... ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63001-63500/sp63213.exe I should be able to help you with the wireless card driver if you do the following steps... Go to the device manager, and there should be an Other Devices category, and under that category, click on the device labeled Network Controller (wireless card) that needs the drivers. Then click on the Details tab at the top of the network controller window. Now you see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description. Drop down on that and select the 2nd item on the list (Hardware ID's). Post the top string of characters that begin with PCI\VEN. Then I will post the link to the driver you need.

What does it mean when Siri keeps saying "I can't help you right now, please come back later."?
What does it mean when Siri keeps saying, "I can't help you right now, please try again later."?
Pretty much what it says, SIri can't help you right now. I suspect it's a location, nework and/or server issue. Siri is currently Beta and doesn't always work.

I reinstalled iPhoto 9.1 and now I can't drag and drop photos to the desktop. The photos have a grayed out flag in the upper left corner and a pull down menu in the bottom right. Please help.
Do you get any error messages?

had the problem. My 3gs used Siri to dial phone numbers or use the address book to dial and I never had a problem with it.

hello,
i restored and updated my iphone 4 to the latest version of 5.1.1 and after that when i connect my mobile to i tunes all i see is a big rectangle and a apple logo on left and a small lock on right side please help me fix this problem.I sloved this issue by resting my phone from settings>general>reset>reset all settings...the problem will be fixed

It's not uncommon for it to not work the first time and sometimes, you have to try it a few times. Turn off your antivirus software and your firewall while you are trying to restore the iPad. Enable them again after you restore.
If that still won't work, post back with detailed information as to what exactly does happen as you go through the process. -

I am running W8.1 with Office 2013 and accessing a shared drive, When I try to save an excel document back to the shared drive - I get the error msg
"Someone else is working in "servername\share\filename" right now, please try again later"
I can see that there is no one else accessing this file at all. I created a brand new file, added content, saved and got the same error.
When I use a W7 with Office 2013 accessing the same share drive, accessing the same file - I am able to save the document without issues.
Does anyone have any ideas what this could be. Both of these situations are while working from home using a company vpn connection. It does not happen when in the office using either W8.1 or W7.

Saves when saving locally. Its looking more like W8.1 on a VPN connection that is causing the issue. What can I look for
I mean you can try to save it to local drive(like drive c:) and then copy it to shared drive.
If you gain the access to the shared file server, you can check the file status when you open this file.
Also you can check your event log to see which process causes this error.
Since I'm not familiar with VPN, I'd suggest you post your issue to the following forum:
