Ezcloud (synology cloud client) config problems

I've been trying to setup a Synology Ezcloud client on my brandnew MacBook Air, so that I never have to worry about backing up my local datafiles.
Here's what I have done:
Setup the Synology Ezcloud client on an EMPTY folder (1st. time setup requires an empty folder, or it won't work)
Place the empty folder at "/Users/dorthejakobsen/My Cloud Station"
Config finished.
Move ALL of my folders at "/Users/dorthejakobsen/*" (pictures, music, etc.) into that new folder so that the Synology Ezcloud client starts backing up all of my datafiles.
Setup the Mac HOME directory into the newly created "/Users/dorthejakobsen/My Cloud Station" so that I never have to worry where I put my files - they will be backed up anyways.
Finished.
BUT - somethings gone wrong! And it's unexplicable....
The Synology Ezcloud client backs up fine UNTIL the HOME directory is changed into "/Users/dorthejakobsen/My Cloud Station".
Once its changed into "/Users/dorthejakobsen/My Cloud Station" + reboot, the Synology Ezcloud client doesn't even startup.
Is this normal?
What I REALLY wasnt to achieve is for my Synology Ezcloud client to back up ALL my files in the background.
Please remember it cannot be installed into a directory where existing files already are present - that's why I'm messing with setuo of the default HOME directory.
Any help will be appreciated.

You are missing the 192.168.16.x network from your no NAT statement
You need to add the following command to your no NAT ACL
access-list Huntersville_nat_outbound extended permit ip 192.168.16.0 255.255.255.0 Charlotte_SSL_VPN_Clients 255.255.255.0

Removing client-config.wsdd from axis.jar

Hello
I am working with websphere and under the WEB-INF/lib folder i have axis.jar. This jar contains client-config.wsdd file.
This is causing some problems and now im told to remove client-config.wsdd file out of axis.jar and deploy it directly to <my_appName>.war/
Does any one have experience with websphere? or how can i remove client-config.wsdd file from a jar file? do i have to unzip it to do that? where should i place client-config.wsdd file so it is in my .war/ for the application.

Many questions leap to mind.
1) Who told you that removing the JAR will remove that �problem, and why?
2) Why is it so difficult to use WinZIP or any other tool to remove a file from a JAR?
3) What has it to do with WSAS?
4) Why don't you use the WSAS classpath settings to provide a file that overrides the one in AXIS?
5) Who hired you?

Mac creative cloud client and application manager hang up

I have tried several times to download lightroom using my creative cloud account and each time, the computer attempts to open the creative cloud client and/or the application manager program which proceeded to attempt to open, to no avail.

I have the same problem in Windows.
Application manager starts the download then says download corrupt try again later.
Trying latter doesn't help.
I also cant download the trial version of Lightroom direct from Adobe to try and install it without application manager. The trial download link doesn't work.

Synology Cloud Station

Hi, I'm using Cloud Station from the AUR & 2 weeks agoo, I've update my system & now it doesn't work.

I have done $ export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/opt/CloudStation/lib/ like in the AUR comment but now :
$ /opt/CloudStation/bin/syno-cloud-linux
Complété
No error, nothing, but no Cloud Station.
Maybe someone is also using Cloud Station & find the solution. Thanks.

The latest update in the Synology Cloudstation client (mid Oct 2012) does indeed conflict with Dropbox upon startup. The conflict seems to happen when both clients try to index changes on the system at the same time. Upon startup, I stop the Synology one so Dropbox (which is more important for me) syncs its content. When it's done, I fire up the Synology client... The latter seems to be very buggy overall (unfortunately). It's in constant "sync" mode despite files already being sync'ed. Maybe Synology knows about this and is potentially fixing.
If a bug was found with Dropbox, it's most likely they'd fix it instantly as DB's user base if far bigger compared to Synology's. It's clearly something Synology should take a look...

I uninstalled my Creative Cloud Client, how can I re-download it?

I was having issues with my Creative Cloud Client Crashing, and not working properly, so I uninstalled it, I need it to get some other apps, how do I get it back?

1) Uninstall Creative Cloud
2) Go to Free Creative Cloud | Download Adobe Creative Cloud free trial and install again.
3) Restart your computer after the installation and the problem will be fixed.
I was on a phone couple minute ago with a tech support from Adobe and by doing those steps the problem was fixed.

Problem Syncing Outlook....says outlook sync client encountered problem

I have been syncing outlook calendar and contacts from my PC to my iPhone with no problems. I have version 1.1.2 on my iPhone and 7.5 or whatever the latest is on iTunes software. The syncs were fine until recently and now I cant sync and get an error message that says "outlook sync client encountered problem" What could possibly have happened....I read some posts that say to go back to iTunes 7.3 etc....this has to be a common problem....any suggestions.

JDeveloper 11.1.2.1.0 Can't edit subversion client config

I'd like to change the subversion client config to enable auto-props but can't find an option to do this in JDeveloper. Tools->Preferences...->Versioning->Subversion->General only appears to have an option for modifying the server parameters. Anybody know how I can change the subversion client config through JDev?

Makes sense. Editing the svn 'servers' file through JDev displays it's path at the top of editor:
C:\Documents and Settings\BLACKADR\Application Data\JDeveloper\system11.1.2.1.38.60.81\o.jdeveloper.subversion
and I can see that there is also a default 'config' file in this same folder so I guess this must be the one JDev will pick up. Will think about raising an enhancement request for an Edit "Client config" option in the JDev Preferences dialog. Thanks for your help.

How do I install Acrobat Pro without the Creative Cloud client.

I work in IT Support for a large organization. We have one user whom we have purchased an Adobe Acrobat Pro XI license for.
Have installed the Creative Cloud client successfully, but it cannot connect to the Adobe servers to download.
We have given the users machine temporary access to bypass all proxys and firewalls, and can see that no traffic at all is being stopped or even questioned by our devices in place, however the user still gets a firewall error. Obviously no local firewalls are running either.
We believe the issue to be related to Applocker, that only allows installs from certain location on the local drive. Our security administrator is insisting that he will not change this to allow for installs from the Creative Cloud folder, and has told us to get the direct install files from Adobe and run the install manually from the existing allowed folder.
Is there direct downloads for each package? Or am I going to have to download it at home and create an install package manually??

Creative Cloud Client Won't Reinstall

When I first wanted to get the trial to Adobe After Effects CC, i had to download the Creative Cloud Client onto my computer. This all went great until the trial got messed up. This caused my to deinstall Adobe After Effects CC on my Windows 7 computer. After i did that i went back into creative cloud and to my amaze i couldnt find anything to let me reinstall AE CC. All it said was "up to date". Unable to find i solution i went and deinstalled the Creative Cloud client itself. Now when i try and download the AE CC trial, nothing happens. This is strange because the first time i tried this i got the message to download the CC client, now nothing downloads at all and i cant do anything. PLEASE HELP. I dont know where or how to reinstall Creative Cloud itself or even AE CC for that matter!!!! How do i reinstall Creative Cloud Client????

2. restart your computer
3. log into your cc account
4. select something to download

If you are on MAC Open Activity Monitor and check for Creative Cloud, it it Running Quit it

If you are on Windows check in task manager

Client deletion Problem - Urjent..

Hi Experts,
There is an existing DEV-QA-PRD environment. There is a need to have a complete Configuration copy of PRD in DEV2 system, which will be used to build another Production Stream (DEV2, QA2, PRD2) for another project.
When we are deleting client ,below Problems we have facing :
1) Production equivalent client (4 TB of data) is taking too much time while deleting tables (step 4 in the diagram below).
2) Of the total 34,882 tables, 34,855 tables took almost 7-8 days to delete.
3) Last 30-35 tables are taking a lot of time to delete, these are probably the largest tables in the system
4) Tables EDIDS and CDCLS are currently being deleted for the last 3-4 days
5) Adding more processes to the Dev2 system is not helping either.
6) At the current rate, these tables will take another 1.5-2 weeks, which seems to be a long time
7) Some more tables which took more time were SWWLOGHIST, IDOCREL, SRRELROLES
Other information:
1) Operating System used for the ECC 5.0 is: Tru64 / HP, Oracle 9i DB (List of Service packs and Patches are attached)
2) Production system has data worth approx. 4TB
3) No Data Archiving has been done since the inception of the system
I need your Suggestions and Comments on this ---its urjent

Ok, you wanted it )) here is mine
so far:
- you copied your huge database (where you don't delete / archive old data) to the new server
- you are now deleting row by row all that data
- you will end up having a still huge but empty database, because the tables / tablespaces won't shrink after the client deletion
This does not make any sense to me, am i missing something :(((
Are there other clients in the prod system, which you keep?
@ Markus: i don't think they have 100+ gb memory to cache their huge tables in the sga
I guess the client deletion has something like a MAX ROWS COMMIT limit to prevent undo overflow. If this number is for example 100'000 rows, then you have to execute 100 delete statements (-> 100 full scans) on a 10mio row table. This of course is taking ages. Even worse it gets slower and slower, because the first delete up to 100'000 rows gets the first blocks, the second scans the same blocks, but they are empty now, so it has to scan further, and so on...

Audio Config" problem after upgrading to 7.6

I have only had my ipod one week. It is working beautifully. My problem is that I can no longer charge it or add songs to it because I can not open itunes. The previous version worked beautifully on my computer. After I upgraded to 7.6, it stopped working and I get an Audio Config. problem everytime I try to open it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program but it does not help. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

I have had my ipod a few weeks - but have nothing but problems letting itunes run the syncing, sometime it works and sometimes it does not. I had to reset my ipod 2 times already just to keep song on here, should have gone with Zune or Sonys (what my wife has) they are not having a single issue...

Advanced mode and automated client config..

Hi,
Is it possible to configure automated client config when server is in advanced mode?
I have looked through the OD manual etc., but can only find info about automated client config for workgroup and standard install..
Am I just looking the wrong places?

You are looking in the right places. No its not possible, leastways not in the sense I think you mean? You can achieve a deep level of client config using Advanced but only in the sense of controlling aspects of what clients can or can't do as well as access to Server Resources amongst other things.
You may have got a 'flavour' of what is achievable if you've been reading the Open Directory Admin Manual? You might also want to have a look at this:

1. What is the client machine locale? Is it Turkish by any chance?
2. Try using lowe case "user id" in the connection string instead of upper case "USER ID".
